Lan was my nail tech. She gave me great looking galaxy nails. She got advice from her coworker, in order to help me achieve the look I asked for. I appreciate a tech that isnt afraid to get a second opinion to help the client achieve their goals.I felt comfortable, and everyone was so kind. Im glad I took my service there.

Visited this location today 3 October 2021. I usually always go to the one in cottonwoods heights. However my regular nail tech has changed her days and I just couldn’t get my schedule to match with hers. Figured this would be okay this one time. The guy who did my nails was the worst. He kept throwing my hands back when he would finish with one hand. He did a horrible job shaping my nails. He was super rough and hurt my cuticles a couple of times. When he was done he just got up and walked away didn’t say anything until I looked at him and he finally told me I was finished. I WILL NEVER go back there and they need to be retrained in that location on customer service.

They fit me in rather quickly, with an appointment, but made me wait a half hour in the chair until someone could get to me. People who arrived after me were served before me, and then they did the classic mani and pedi services as I requested.A day after I was seen, I developed throbbing and puffiness in my middle finger on my left hand. The sign an infection had set in. I had to go to the doctor to get antibiotics to treat it after three days of it not getting any better. Please, please clean your instruments!

Best pedicure I ever received. Love the massage with it and the deep care to my feet. Never felt so good after a pedicure. Their polish last really long and it looks fantastic. A very special treat!

Danny is the best! I am able to show him a picture and within 0.2 seconds he knows exactly what to do. I have been coming to this nail salon for over two years and I have never left disappointed.

I came in the weekend of fathers day, Penny did my nails and she did a great job. I would give this place 5 stars but the girl that runs the desk is not someone I like to deal with, I walked in and I said Im here for a full set she rolls her eyes at me and says something and turns away I said excuse me I didnt hear what you said she rolls her eyes again and says go wash your hands and something else that I didnt catch and she again turned away from me. As I was getting my nails done this man walked in for a pedicure and I watched her treat him the same way and he had to ask her what she said to him as well. Stop acting like that and treat people better youre in a customer service type job honey.

I had a backfill and a pedicure. She did a good job with both. Busy place so appointments are recommended

Every time I have an appointment I wait at least 30 min after appointment time for them to start. There have been a few times I left because I was waiting so long without being helped. I notice people come in after me with walk ins or same appointment time and are helped before me. It’s so rude and inconsiderate. They do a good job and it’s close to my home, so I keep coming back, but I’m getting tired of the long wait times. I may try some other places.

Usually I just do walk ins at this location as I’m fine to wait till someone is ready. Yesterday I had actually made an appointment and still waited over 40 minutes. I had bridal pictures set for later in the day which is why I needed an actual appointment. I ended up only having time for them to take off my nails. Very disappointed. They do a good job, but you have to wait forever wether you have an appointment or not. Very frustrated.

Danny was AMAZING. I have been requesting just him to do my nails bc he does a fantastic job every single time. Very professional and does his job well

After many years of using this company at their various locations I have finally decided they are not worth the time or money. VERY inconsistent, don’t bother making an appointment- they don’t write it down, or take note of what you are asking for - I witnessed this first hand today as well as my own appointment not being followed. They are very quick to upcharge for any and every modification but they will not back up their services if you are unhappy, don’t expect the same amount to be refunded if you get to that point. You might get a good nail tech 1/4 time you go in...and if you find them then stick with that person and don’t risk trying another. Extremely unhappy and extremely disappointed I spent as much time in their salon as I did for an unhappy result.I was unhappy with the quality of services I had done today, the manager Jeff tried to correct it. I wanted him to remove what the nail tech had done and issue a refund, he insisted on trying to correct it but the shape, color, length is still not what I had asked for when I came in for my original appointment. Additional to the problems with the acrylic on my hands, the shellac on my toes was lifting up already (not even 12 hours after having them done) jeff wanted them to just cover it with top coat (i knew that wasn’t going to fix the problem it needed to be removed) and when I pointed it they made a fuss about it. I asked for a refund and they didn’t refund the correct amount listed on the price board behind them. I was so fed up with how stingy and unwilling they were to make sure I was pleased with what I had paid for was fulfilled I left and I will gladly pay someone to remove their work and reapply what I originally wanted.

Called on a Sunday afternoon to see if there was a wait and they made me an appointment for 30 minutes from when I called. Vince did an amazing job and I couldn’t be happier - definitely found my go to spot!

Went in for a shellac manicure. My manicurist Clara did not put soap in the bowl. She barely gave me a hand massage. While next to me a lady was getting the exact same service full on soap and lotion hand massage manicure experience . I did not say anything as I was thinking maybe she was doing a basic service but she still charged me $35.00 for a full service shellac manicure. I will not be going here again. When you pay full price you expect to get a full service experience. I gave her a tip even though I did not want to and gave the bare minimum 15% offered. I felt like a number and not a valued customer.

My girlfriends and I went to Galaxy Nails in Draper on Monday to get our nails done. I went in for a acrylic fill with French tip polish and was charged $50 when my friend was charged $55 for a full set and full nail color, my other friend got a pedicure and it was very rough and the polish is spotty in places. Overall, this place was overpriced for what you get and I dont recommend going here :/

Live this nail salon so much. They are detail focused and havent had a bad experience yet. Sue was amazing at making my vision for my nails come to life. I would recommend calling ahead for an appointment. They do walk-ins but when I have an appointment they make sure to get me in on my appt time, so walk-ins have to wait sometimes. Highly recommend!

My daughter and 2 friends showed up for an 11:00 appointment. Place was packed and told they would have to wait. Glad Flip Flop nails was able to accommodate them. Very disappointed. Would not recommend!

I used to have a great experience with Galaxy, but recently my experience has changed. While some of the artists are great, the price is much higher than other salons. They have a policy that if I nail chips you can come in and they will fix it, but the last three times I’ve gotten my nails done a nail has chipped within the first week. When I try to come in to get it fixed, they are always incredibly busy and don’t have time to see me. I’ve even called ahead, and when I get there at my scheduled appointment time, they tell me I will need to wait 30 min (just to fix my chipped nail!!) not worth the hassle, chipping, and price.

This place is absolutely the worst nail salon I’ve ever been to. Half my nails are crooked, booked an appt with Danny and he wasn’t available so they had a random lady do my nails and shape until he was free. Not worth $65, I can’t even look at my nails they are SO bad. Poor Danny tried to fix them half way thru when he was finally free, but not even he could improve them! 5 mins after appt and nails are already loose! I had to force myself to tip even tho I did not want to. DO NOT COME HERE!!!!

Me and my friend came in for a full set. I had gotten Penny to do my nails. She was very rude and very rough. She was disrespectful and started sighing when I asked for changes on my nails. She is very lazy and has no good customer service. My friend recently came in and she did the same exact thing to her once again. I wasn’t going to leave a bad review but you guys seriously need to talk to your employees about customer service. Danny is very nice. I used to love coming here and now you guys let them get away with too much disrespect. We will not be coming back to galaxy nails.

I’ve been to this location multiple times and had okay experiences but this time made me regret coming back. I had an acrylic manicure and asked for shorter nails and felt like I wasn’t listened to at all. She proceeded to drill my cuticles too roughly and when I washed my hands, I noticed I was bleeding. I let the lady know and she brushed it off like it was nothing. If I am paying for a $60+ service the least I’d expect is for her to listen to my concern and address the issue.

They were great! My nails look awesome and skin feels soft. I feel properly pampered with the full spa experience, and was impressed how she worked around my one wonky toe. Would recommend!

I was super excited to come here because both of my sister in law’s have had great experiences but mine unfortunately was sub par. The salon is beautiful and the staff is very nice. I had my poly gel manicure removed and got just a gel manicure. The very next day, a nail broke. I came in and they fixed it for me (i tipped of course) but for $54, this is what I got after 1 week. I’ve never had a gel manicure come off and break like this.

I’m always scared to try new places for acrylics. This place is by far my favorite. they captured exactly what i wanted. All the workers are so kind and make sure you’re doing okay. The quality of my new acrylics are so awesome! It was quick, but efficient. I love this place definitely coming here again!

Rude, incompetent, lazy, abrupt, nail techs!

Galaxy Nails-Annie does a great job with dip. She is very good with shaping and filing down the dip. I havent found anyone else that can do them this well

We had an appointment for 2 pedicures at 1:00 we got there 5 minutes early and they were over scheduled they had 4 appointments at that same time, plus a lot of walk-ins and not enough people to cover. We waited for 20 minutes and not one person had been put in a chair to soak yet. No one even said how long we’d have to be waiting or even acknowledged us after we initially walked in and sat down just asked what we were here for no other communication. The cottonwood heights location is much better at getting you in and going, especially when you have an appointment!!! I’ve never had a problem there I unfortunately I won’t be back to this location.

I always go into the cottonwood location because they always do a really good job and take their time! I wanted to get a fill and the cottonwood was all booked up they told me it was a 45 minute wait “even thou I had an appointment” so I decided to try the Draper location! The manger was super nice at this location.. I ended up waiting for 20 minutes to get in but I was fine with that.. he sat me down and he started to do my fill at first I was like this ain’t that bad but then he started drilling, he kept looking at his phone he cut me 4 times didn’t even acknowledge that he did! He was more worried about his phone then doing my nails! I love the cottonwood location but I won’t be going to the Draper location anymore

We had a fantastic experience at Galaxy Nails & Spa. I am so happy they opened up in Draper! First of all - I am super pleased about the location. But wow - my expectations were just exceeded as I tried out this new spot. The ladies were extremely friendly and they understood what we needed and wanted! Communication was great. This is big for me. The place also has a lot of shellac colors, and the brand is quality (I know shellac brands!). I was impressed with the cleanliness and just neatness of this nail spa. I love that they have liners for the pedicures! Just all the more clean. And ...very professional. Professional price board, professional service booklet...I cant say enough good. I hope you do well and I hope you stay around because you have your first repeat customer!!

I love this salon! It has a very modern set up and the staff is all super friendly and they actually talk to you!! Ive gotten a gel manicure and pedicure here and was not disappointed. Best pedicure Ive had BY FAR and the products they use are amazing! I travel to go here because I love it so much.

Made an appointment and waited 50 min after my appointment. They kept saying “soon”.. what’s the point of an appointment? Didn’t end up getting my nails done and sat there for an hour for NOTHING.Used to go to this location consistently but will go somewhere else now.

I went in for dip powder and was disappointed. For $60, my nails were completely uneven and didn’t look good.

One of the best places to get your nails done in Draper! They do a great job and appreciate your business unlike many other salons I know of.

This place was so beautiful, clean, and organized. I absolutely would recommend coming here if you’d like a nail experience that’s way better than usual! Honestly it was so clean and pretty I wish I took pictures! The only thing I didn’t like was the lady was a bit aggressive with one of my nails and made me bleed :(

Came in today for a fill today and he completely fixed my nails. They were looking super rough from a totally different salon but Jeff fixed them 100%. They look absolutely amazing and I couldn’t be happier with them!! His customer service was so great, talking and joking with me and my boyfriend the whole time. I have never been happier with my nails or a salon in my life!! I will be coming here for every set from now on:)

Just got my nails done here. Everyone was really friendly and welcoming. They offer polish, gels, and powders for color which is great. I was able to walk straight in without waiting, it was very clean, and my nails are exactly the way I wanted them.

His favorite color and green and he always try’s to get me to do it on my nails green (which makes me laugh)Jenny is the owner and does the best nails working right alongside her employees. The environment is great and workers speak English!The pedicures are done in a very clean way with a plastic sack lining in the tub. The pricing is a bit more than I am used to paying but I feel that the way they sanitize the tools makes it worth the price.I recommend this nail spa

I started going to Galaxy in Cottonwood Heights, Jeffs first location. So happy theyve opened a third location. Quality always depends on the particular technician, but love this place overall. Clean, friendly atmosphere.

I used to really enjoy coming to this salon, but the past couple of times i have gone my nails have not turned out like they used to. i noticed they have gotten new employees and it seems like they don’t know what they are doing. last june i went in to get my nails done before my trip and about a day later one of my nails had broken. it seemed to have gone downhill from there. i once went in with a simple design and my nails turned out to be nothing like i wanted. the last 2 times i have gone there my nails have hurt and the last guy who did my nails did not do a good job. i brought my mom in with me once and she was very unhappy with her nails and she expressed that to them & they proceeded to charge her. i will not be coming back in to this salon.

One thing I hate about businesss is inconsistency. One day it will be good another you dont know what youre getting. I came in and asked for a gel manicure. The kid who did my nails proceeded with a color change only. And no cuticle oil or even offer of lotion at the end. So weird..I never know about galaxy nails smh..

I’m sad with my experience at Galaxy nails. 2 days after I got shellac gel, the paint was already coming off. So I went back in to have them fix it. Two days after it was fixed, it started chipping off again. Way over priced for something that doesn’t even last a week!! I paid $38 for this and it’s just money down the drain

We had set an appointment for two pedicures at 5:00 for today many days in advance. When we arrived, we chose our color and were asked to sit. We sat in the chairs for over an hour, nobody even really acknowledged us. Others came in the door and were helped immediately, while we still just sat there. We ended up having to leave because we had another place to be and didn’t expect to not even be serviced within an hour and a half of our appointment.

I have been hunting for a nail salon that I can stick with for so long. Finally I found galaxy nails! Tony did an incredible job on my nails! The salon is so adorable and immaculately clean!

When I first starting going to Galaxy, they were great. I have referred so many people to this salon, and I am extremely disappointed with their service. I consistently made appointments with Jenny days before I was anticipating visiting the salon, and was forced to wait over 30 minutes to get my nails done. I typically arrive 10 minutes early and was waiting 30 minutes while she was working on a walk in pedicure, I eventually left and went to a different salon. I wished that they prioritized appointments over walk ins, or were up front with how long I would be waiting. I wasted so much time. Not t mention, the poor job they did on my mom and sisters nails. They called to get them fixed and were unapologetic and extremely rude to them when they came in. If they dont do their work how the customer wants, they are easily offended. The customer service here and extremely unprofessional and I would not recommend this salon to anyone.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Got gel on my nails, chipped the next day, went into have them fixed, chipped less than a week later. Not even worth my time to go back in. DO NOT GO HERE. Seriously, don’t waste your time or money. Go somewhere else.

They seem to charge a different price for the same thing too...Why even have a price menu if you dont use it? I wont be coming back here Ill be looking for a new salon to go to where they dont rush you and overcharge.

Me and my sister came in for our first time here to get a full set n a pedi. the ladies who did our toes were so sweet and wonderful. both of us have never had a pedicure before so we were lost, laughing, n all over the place trying to figure out what we wanted. both tao and kim (i’m so sorry if i spelled names wrong) were so patient and helpful and the pedicures from them were awesome from start to finish. then from there gabriel did my sisters nails and kathy did mine. both sets ended up HOT c: and exactly what we wanted. everyone was so into their work and it was really cool to see that. they were all complimenting each other on the work they were doing while talking to us, and it just seemed like they all genuinely enjoyed working there. i personally love that, because it makes everything more fun and welcoming when in comparison to all the other places i’ve gone to, you walk in to let them slap on your nails so quickly to where neither of you don’t have time to notice smaller details and if either of you do notice, either they don’t mind about it enough to fix it or you feel like it’s too much of a hassle for you to bring it up. but here they all seemed like they really enjoyed and cared about everything. for you, for them, and for each other and i’m seriously so excited that i found a nail place that i like this much. ask for kathy gabriel kim or tao, they were the best(: but however i seriously doubt that you can have a bad experience here.
