A favorite summer destination for our family.

Hands down the best condo we have stayed in while visiting Destin. The employees were all accommodating and helpful and our condo was absolutely beautiful. Beach service was nice as well and was set up for us early in the day. We stayed in unit 905 and it was gorgeous! This will be our new place to stay.

Great gulf view from the spacious balcony. Clean, well decorated room with a fully equipped kitchen if you want to cook. Great private beach with 2 chairs and umbrella setup complementary. Great place to stay and will be at the top of the list for future visits.

So much better than a normal hotel! An entire fully furnished condo with a full kitchen and washer/dryer in the unit, right on the beach! Beautiful view of the emerald-green waters, great size balcony for a large party, and you can fall asleep and wake up to the sounds of the ocean! Plus, they reserve chairs and an umbrella for you on the beach. And if you forgot something, or just want to pack light, there is a brand-new Wal-Mart across the street! I would definitely revisit again!

Sierra and Emily were amazing. After some unforeseen circumstances, we needed a place to stay short notice. They were able to accommodate an early arrival check-in, which was very necessary as we had a wedding to attend later that day. They made it completely stress free. The condo that we stayed in was beautiful and had amazing views of the beach and water. After we checked out and were already several hours away, my daughter realized she left something hanging in the closet. We called the front desk, they retrieved the item, and it was put in the mail yesterday. Our family had a great vacation and we will definitely stay at the Destin Gulfgate again.

Amazing condominium to stay! Over looking the ocean, restaurants close by. Its a perfect place!

Emily at the front desk was amazing and helped acquaint us to the condo, and Will very promptly took care of a small issue we had. He literally was at the door in 30 seconds after we called down. Will definitely recommend this place

Clean, well managed condo group. You get the small town feel and service with the same amenities and beach access as some of the biggest places in Destin. Their pool is very good for little kids as well, with a wade in section in addition to the deeper end. It would be nice to be able to order food or drinks out there but maybe well see that in the future.Another note to differentiate this property, a lot of condos weve stayed at have outdoor grills but Ive never seen one kept as clean as this one. Id actually cook out here sometime.A final note, they have really great wifi, stretches all the way out to the beach so your devices stream just fine right on the beach, in addition to working inside the elevator(!) which is just impressive I dont know how they do it.Their prices are pretty competitive too.

On the beach (private), clean, safe spacious, beautiful ocean view, close to everything you need. Attentive, friendly staff on site. Awesome pool with a workout facility.

We have been staying at the gulfgate for 20+ years and it’s the best there is. The condos are always clean, spacious and beautifully decorated. Additionally, bc it isn’t a ginormous property, there is a sense of privacy and more security. We love the Gulfgate and it truly feels like our home away from home.

We are still trying to get the car out of our reserved parking space. Condo doing nothing to help. after 24 hours the vehicle was removed. Beautiful condo. Need a little more sense of urgency from management.

Every room has a nice view of the beach. You get your own kitchen, a TV with some free on demand programs, and the beds are the most comfortable after a day outside in the sun.

Habe stayed there for over 10 years. It is well maintained and kept up date.

This was a great condo location and the condo itself felt like home away from home. The staff was helpful and friendly (even though our lunch was snatched by a staff member from the condo refrigerator during the 5 minutes of us checking out). I was really impressed with the condo condition and furnishings; it was well stocked with the necessities. I even whipped up some waffles using all their kitchen wares without missing a beat. These condos feel big and roomy. The beach is very convenient.Its a medium-sized complex so you wont have the beachfront amenities of a mega-plex like on-the-spot waverunner rentals etc. Just drive a couple of miles towards the city and rent them there for less and drive them up the coast on the water to the condo beach. The smaller size provides a less crowded beach which we preferred.The fitness center was a nice amenity, it provides the basics. We never got in the pool.Garage parking isnt a big deal, everything is close together.Boogieboard advice: Destin has VERY small waves, except during inclement or windy weather but even then they are still pretty small and difficult to ride with a boogieboard unless you’re a young kid like 14 or under. If you’re going to try to boogieboard and you’re over 100 lbs, do yourself a favor and DON’T buy the cheap foam boards at the local souvenir shop (i.e. $14.99). If there is any weight on them, with the slightest pressure, they crack and are a lot less useful afterwards. If you plan to go to the beach often and have the room in your car, get yourself a real board, usually $50 which holds up and performs its job well over many vacations.
