Location was great! The condo itself (105A) yourhad a great layout, however the furniture was in poor condition throughout: sofa sleeper was not usable as a sleeper OR a sofa due to condition of sleeper mattress (exposed springs) and unknown matter caked on upholstery; various pots and pans were cracked and unusable; a mouse infestation was reported when food and plastic bags were chewed and droppings noticed, however maintenance did NOT respond; Patio furniture was in poor condition.Ceiling leaked in the bathroom from the upstairs they came out and did nothingThis was our second time staying at Crystal Sands but the first time in this particular unit. The first experience was awesome. What are next steps to complete to be considered for a credit/refund?

We had a great experience renting from Vacasa. Any issue we ran into Customer Service quickly responded and took excellent care of us. Very satisfied and will go back again.

Beautiful water. Recommend going in late August when most kids are in school. Highly recommend. Been coming here for the past few years.

The location was right off of the beach, and pretty quiet. Chairs and umbrellas were available for tenants. Tons of restaurants within a mile. The pool is situated in the front. Near the parking lot, which is probably the least desirable, however, made for a quick cool off after time at the beach.

The property is beautiful. We were so excited about our stay. We arrived and was quickly disappointed. The Condo was absolutely filthy! Dust everywhere! There was hair in the fridge and our last night a huge rat was in the kitchen! I dont think anyone cleaned before we arrived. My husband and I cleaned as much as possible and washed all linen before we used it. Sprayed lysol and wiped everything down.. we spent more time cleaning than vacationing. We wont be back.

Very cozy.We had the pleasure of staying at crystal sands in 108b. It had such a homey and cozy feel and the access to the beach just outside our door. Also had terrific views. Great first thing in the morning with my coffee. If i would change anything i would buy a more comfortable mattress for the bed. (Very hard)

Beautifully updated. Clean. Amazing view. We had everything we needed in the kitchen to cook while we were there. 10-10 recommend.

We have stayed here 3 other times and loved it and gave it a 5. This time it’s a 1. Wasn’t cleaned. Grape stems on the couch, food in the bottom door of the stove and we had to wash all silverware. B4 we left we cleaned the condo ourselves and took pics just in cases we got charged if something went wrong. Our 3rd day we went in our condo from the beach and found someone in it. He said he was maintenance but we weren’t notified or a note on door. we filed a complaint and got a night knocked off so that was good. Thank god Nothing was taken. Checked condo every hour because the people going around cleaning condos looked very shady and didn’t trust them. Great view but not sure if I’ll stay here again

Everything was perfect Ive been with resortquest then Wyndham and now vacasa so using the same agency for over 9 yrs i wouldnt change it our family and friends will be ready to make reservations soon for next yr.

Perfect location, amenities were sufficient. But seriously the location made all the difference.

Nicely decorated condo in a fantastic location. As a local I know this area well and this is the ideal...yes on the beach not across from the beach condo...nice and roomy with three separate sleeping areas plus a sleeper sofa too...the view is PRICELESS

With grey pillion poles from a pier that only history can recall reaching out into emerald green waters breaking so gently against white sand and midmorning skies, vivid memories of not a print in the sand or umbrella and chairs, absolutely breathtaking and all thanks to covid-19. Once in a eternity, and cant believe that mine eyes would see. Crazy

In unit 214B, first have to say the location is superb! I would have to say that is my favorite aspect. The unit was clean but so very dated, with dirty dust marks and peeling ceilings. The a/c worked very sporadic and when it did the temp dropped to 54 degrees...yikes. The kitchen is updated and no neighbors on one side! The owner definitely needs to do some heavy cleaning and updating. The resort needs to really clean up the pool areas, so dirty and moldy. I have stayed at other condo resorts here in Destin, and I probably will never return to this resort.

We really enjoyed our stay at the condo. The condo was very nice. Vacasa was pretty easy to work with. We would rent this condo again.

My first time there, I will be back Good Lord willing. People friendly, the beach was phenomenal IMO. My family had a blast in spite of c19. Thank you southern folks for the hospitality.

Not much to see from the street side. Doesnt look to promising but the rooms are adequate... Id say about 3 or 4 in terms of quality and maintenance. A little dated I suppose. My only complaint would be that if you rent a place that accommodates 10 people you should not have to pay additional for beach chairs... each unit only gets one umbrella and two chairs and you have to pay $40/day for an additional umbrella and two chairs... so if there are 8 of us we pay for the additional 3 umbrellas and 6 chairs at $120/day ... seems a little bit of a gouge to me since we are already paying for the unit that sleeps 10... for the very small unit this would not be a problem but if you are bringing 10 people add about $240/day just for an umbrella and 2 chairs... because of this I give them 2 stars.

I am in the hospitality business and I must say, these condos are exceptionally clean, very comfortable, in a great location, and I did not need a thing, they provided us with plenty of towels and an extra linen. I will be staying in 306B again soon!!!

We stayed at unit 107b, location is to die for. Amazing views. Place was excellent size. Has furniture updates from what you see in pics. I will certainly be coming back to this exact spot. 1 area of improvement: housekeeping. Looks like they do soem very surface cleaning ( not $100+ worth which is what they charge at booking). My 7 month baby had black knees within 2 minutes of crawling. There was dirt & food left behind the recliner. We had to clean the floors ourselves before we let her back down. Crumbs here & there. Nothing that is stopping us from coming back but do wish management took this serious as I see it has been mentioned many times in the past reviews.

We stayed a week and do not want to leave. our time was fantastic and the place has been perfect for everything we needed! Right across from the beach and everything you need in the condo! We will be coming back!

Our experience was wonderful! View is perfect, situated in a very good location just minutes from EVERYTHING. Been renting from Mike for eighteen years and our relationship and experience we have had with him has been perfect, from notifications of important events upcoming concerning our visit and even our concerns with our condo. He is always prompt in returning our calls/emails.

It looked like a ghetto motel on the outside but let me tell you it is not there was a beautiful view from the window and an upstairs with plenty of space and it was quite adorable I only get to stay 1 night then Im going somewhere else but I sure do wish I could stay

Great location, walking distance from the beach. Pool on site. Maintenance and issues were handled quickly. Im very happy with our stay. The driveways are big enough for 2 cars, and theres no street parking, so if your group has more cars youll have to find a different place for some. Trailers are not allowed, so if you bring one, youll need to store it.

We have stayed here twice now, first in B building and recently in A building. The places are very dimly lit...very little lighting. Also, expect LOTS of kids. The condos are built ridiculously cheap so you get a lot of noise from your neighbor. Check out is 10:00AM but they will start to pester you around 9:20AM to get out. Thats kinda a deal breaker with me anyway...10:00AM check out is too early. There is no water pressure. They want you to not leave any dirty dishes. Good luck figuring out the five remotes for two televisions. There is no ice-maker in the fridge. BUT THE BEACH IS REALLY NICE.

Beautiful scenery

I love these condos. Have stayed on different ones and never disappointed. It is right on the beach. The only reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is the pool is not so nice and not on the beach side of the condos. But I would rather be laying on the beach than in the pool.

The place was great! Beautiful view and all the comforts of home. Carpet could use replacing, but the experience was so positive, I hardly noticed once we got settled in.

Absolutely beautiful place to stay we stayed looking off the golf course view and it was stunning the pool was so relaxing and security was top notch. Beach chair rentals brought right to your front door but our condo had everything we needed no reason to spend money on rentals when the outdoor storage had chairs umbrellas and floats even skim boards a surf board nothing to spend extra expenses and I love saving money! If traveling with kids the condos third bedroom had kid swimmers highchair and a play pen set up was two twin beds.Also over 50 beach towels in our room laundry on site too.Kitchen also full stocked just bring meat and veggies and milk paper and glass plates provided zip lock bags aluminum foil charcoal all the spices you could imagine.It was amazing and convenient

The BEST decision we have made in a long time. Two beautiful king bedrooms, each with their own bathroom, feet from the beach with friends. Wonderful 5 days spent. :)

Had a great time as always in Destin. 102B was the condo we stayed in and it was nice. It was great staying on the first floor and being able to walk out of the condo and down the walkway straight to the beach. The cons of this years vacation was that the private beach rules are not enforced, lots of people on the private beach that were not staying at Crystal Sands. Also first condo of six different ones that weve stayed at that didnt offer free beach service with the stay. Have to pay $200/wk or $40/day for beach service (umbrella & 2 chairs).

Beautiful location. Were staying in 311B. Years before, in different rooms, I wouldve given 5 stars. This particular room is just mediocre. Upstairs, there are 2 sets of bunk beds, on one there is a crack under the top bunk, on the other, the ladder is wobbly. Theres no drain plug for upstairs bathroom, jets dont work in master bathroom. The ice machine in freezer makes disgusting soft, salty ice, which isnt usable. For the money spent, these small, easily fixed by owner issues should be resolved.

It was a nice stay. I do recommend if you bring your own laundry detergent, toilet paper, and trash bags. We only had one trash bag and a small packet of laundry detergent provided for the whole week and had to run out and buy some. The chairs and umbrella provided was nice, they set them out around 8 AM, and take them up at 5 PM. Only two chairs, and one umbrella per condo. Only downside, they do not clean the beach chairs. Beds were comfortable, loved the beach view.

The view from the balcony was incredible! Everything else was very nice and clean and very comfortable and usable. But if you are after the view then this is the spot.

I reserved a room with a queen a full and 2 twin beds. I received a room with a king a 4 twin beds. Very uncomfortable for a married couple to sleep separately. Air conditioning didn’t work thankfully it was cool enough at night to cool the condo down. When I had attempted to contact the resort I was told to talk to the front desk. It was closed all 3 days. The number that was posted to contact if there were any issues received no answer. The condos decor was very outdated and there was roaches in the room. This was meant to be a relaxation weekend for my brother who had just returned home from deployment. I will not be booking another room with whyndam resorts again. I will not recommend this company to anyone.

Very nice building and beachfront. Amenities vary slightly by the room you get. Beach gets busy in weekends in the summer. A great place for families as there is not supposed to be dogs allowed on the beach and the building is non smoking.

Great location, right on the beach! Very friendly beach service staff also. Very easy check-in, just make sure you have something to do if you arrive before check-in (4:00pm). This place is located within a ten to fifteen minute drive from almost everything.

Awesome vies and beaches. The 1 bedroom unit was a little outdated, but not too bad. Very clean and we had all of the amenities we needed. The only minor complaint was that my disabled wife couldnt use the pool for 3 of the days for maintenance. We will definitely be going back there again.

Unit was fine, beach service was fine. The grounds/ walkways, though, are another story. Dirty. Trash (in bags) and debris like cups and such in stairwells for days. No exaggeration. I finally got sick of seeing them and did it myself. Management doesnt seem to care. Maintenance staff are rude and avoid contact as much as possible. Weird. Most of them just grunt if you speak to them.

Location is great, view is great. However, we arrived on a Saturday and there was NOBODY around to help get checked in. Apparently nobody works on weekends there. We had to ask people who were staying there which ended up leading to having to talk to someone from Wyndham Vacation Rentals to give us a code to get an envelope with our check in info. Once we finally got that straight, we go to our room and don’t have the code to get in our room so once again, had to get on the phone with Wyndham to get a code to our room. This seriously was a 45 minute process which is ridiculous. Once we got in our room, it was pretty nice BUT not clean. The floors were covered in sand and our feet were black from walking around the condo. Also, my husband went to iron his navy shorts and when he flipped them over, his shorts were covered in either white cat or dog hair! So, the rest of our stay, we had to try to iron our clothes by laying them on the counter. The couch was broke down and when you sat on it, you basically fell to the floor. And one of our toilets was leaking along with lights that didn’t work. I have to say, we weren’t that pleased. I feel like as much as condos cost to stay, they should be nice and well kept. Part of your fee includes a cleaning service and I honestly don’t know that they deserved it. I probably won’t be back to this condo on our next trip to Destin.

We were here less than 24 hours and 14 vehicles were broken into. One was ours. This is NOT a hotel. It is ran by a homeowners association. Nobody cared about all of us that gotten broken into. I called about staying an extra night, think that I had to pay 600 dollars out of my pocket for just the window repair, thinking they might give me a descent rate to stay. Nope, the lady told me she was giving me 40% off. It was more like 40% more! Dont waste your money staying here. Everybody is only after the almighty dollar here. Nobody is at the desk on wednesdays neither. Find somewhere that is well lit and has outdoor cameras. Might consider the crime is up in this area. We were told by the locals that are tired of it. It cost us a lot of money staying here.

Stayed here for 4 nights with my mother. No complaints. Well maintained, modest but nice, beautiful view because youre right on the beach and also the free umbrellas/chairs are nice - just be sure to claim one early or theyll get gone! The facility was no pets but I brought my psychiatric service dog and the staff was very polite and courteous about me having her, something I cant say for other business a lot of the time.

I have very mixed feelings about this place. The rooms were excellent. Wonderful View. Didnt really have much interaction with the staff. We were told that everything we needed to know was in our packet and we did not need to bother the office staff for anyting. the beach is beautiful but its not a private beach so dont let him tell you that. It was very very crowded because the public was allowed to use the same Beach. We had to be on the beach at six in the morning everyday to even get two chairs. That are supposed to come with the room. Probably will not go back because of that. Next time we will find a hotel that has actually has a private beach

This place is definitely a gem, being so reasonably priced. The condo was very clean and well decorated. The view from the deck is priceless! The only issue we had was noise, as we were on the 2nd floor. However, we would come back again!

Very pleased with our stay here for a long weekend. Great size room, easy access to the beach. The only minor complaint would be some rooms with kids running around on the floor above us, but I cant really fault the establishment for that.

Relaxing for a getaway. Not as big as a house, but good size for a couples weekend, or maybe a couple + 1-2 kids. Nice area surrounding - good shopping nearby

The food was good for the price. The staff was very cheerful and friendly. Could have used a bit more help with busser position.

We went here during Thanksgiving week and pretty much had the beach to ourselves. It was a little cold but so serene, peaceful, fun and clean. Great sandy beach with clear water.

Beachside condos. The rooms are nice and clean, though a little darkly lit. The rugs look a little worn and theres sand on the floors, but thats to be expected for beachside properties. Pullout mattress probably needed replacing. Otherwise, pretty good place.

Greta place to stay. It is only 3 floors. Small but the condo its self was plenty of room. The view of the beach was great! Will defiantly go back again.

The rating would be better, overall the hotel is definitely a 5 out of 5 stars for quality. If wasnt for one pull out mattress. It is literally the worst mattress I have ever slept on. I had legitimate thoughts of going out and getting a misdemeanor so I could sleep in a more comfortable bed. The ground was more comfortable than the bed. I woke up in the morning barely able to walk after about 4 hours of sleep which is all I could manage on this mattress. Imagine a bed of nails with a sheet over it. Id like to add but Im not an old guy Im 21 and I shouldnt be having back issues from sleeping on a rough bed but this bed did it.

Condos, two or one bedroom, level one has direct beach access via back sliding doors. There are two identical buildings, condos are individually owned. If you are a guest, beach chairs are provided by a management company. Each building also has a pool.

We loved our stay here. The pool was great and its close to the beach and shopping areas. We will definitely be back.

Stayed at 102A. Loved being directly on the beach and walking out straight from the room. Room was nicely updated and had everything we needed.

Clean. Well maintained. If youre looking for a private beach with your room look somewhere else. All you get is two chairs and an umbrella with your room. Nice but you also get public access people who dont care what you paid for and will camp right in front of your chair...

Very roomy, slept 7 easy. Has all the utensils you need to cook your own meals. Gives each person 2 bath towels to use. Has washer and dryer inside your condo!

Unit is spacious and the view is excellent. Weather hasnt cooperated yet but the beach looks fantastic!

108b is the floor unit we stayed in and it was everything we were expecting!! Very pleased with our stay, nice, clean, safe & straight walk out onto the beach from out the sliding glass door. We are already planning another stay next year!! Thank you Crystal Sands!!

The WiFi password is pretty much the same using any network. Our room WiFi didn’t work from day one. The “B” building pool heater didn’t work but the gate codes are the same and we went to the “A” building where it did work. Overall, we’ll use this place again.

I must say I was disappointed this time. We had several issues including no wifi in the condo and no one advised me of that, or I would have changed rooms. The issues we had they would come out and fix unfortunately they kept occurring. (Comode not flushing, shower head messed up, no wifi)
