I dont write bad reviews...you can see that from my history or writing reviews. This company though...RUN. Since taking over for pro-disposal, they are by far the worst company I have dealt with...and have to be the worst in town. Trash pick ups just sometimes didnt happen. Their systems would screw up auto pays. Then theyd miss Recycle and tell me theyd come back in 2 week and Sorry. I have all of this in email correspondence...this is not hear-say. I just cancelled their service, as I didnt want to deal with finding another and potentially 2 weeks of no service. But I have to say...its relieving knowing that I dont have to deal with them anymore. Waiting an hour on the phone to correct something that should have been done online...or just asking them to provide the service you paid for in the first place. Again...RUN. It is just not worth it.
We had Waste connections of Colorado service for 3 years. They did not give a new trash container until our container broken. Their monthly fee increase every year also charge Fuel & Material surcharge fee every three month. We found they always charged more than another waste companies so we deiced to switch different company but they asked for canceled fee and container removal fee. We used their a container only for 3 months so we told them we should not to pay them, they agreed but they still sent a bill to us. We afraid of have a bad credit score for it so we have to pay them. We are never use Waste connections of Colorado again.

No show . Called next week they saw work order and would take care of next day ( no show). Called for two weeks no answer. New web design with contact form filled out ( no response). Two weeks pass Web site update filled out that form. No response. During this time left container out ( HOA does not allow) posted sign on trash explaining why. Finally found payment office near my hone. They were very helpful and called office that handles trash cans. The excuse they used was that they had changed trash can design and staff did not recognize can 10/2013 I moved in. All neighbors have same can. Was removed next day but no replacement that was 8/2021.Called office I visited and staff said they would look into it. Asked to please call, email on delivery time frame. No can yet 9/2021.
Horrible service! Stay away from this company. Still trying to charge me three months after I sold my house! Called in and told driveer! Not to mention eratic pick up times. Trash cans dropped in the middle of the street. Took over for my last service and I wish I did my research. Nasty receptionist. Rude manager. Other companies more money for a reason, they are professional. Billing me although new homeowner has not moved in yet and I have been gone for 3 months. Crooks. If I could I would give 0 🌟. Dont let this company provide you bad service and absurd office management.
I canceled my service with them back in July. Apparently, you may only cancel the account verbally and not in writing as I tried to at least twice. But no one notified me of that verbally or in writing. I have spent a lot of time continually calling and trying to get through on the phone, anywhere from 15-30 minutes before I would have to hang up and try again another time. No trash has ever been put outside since August 1st. But they are now charging me for August and part of Sept. even though I have left messages, used their app AND mailed in a letter to them all in an effort to reach a LIVE person. The first person wouldnt let me finish speaking and escalated the situation. Then I spoke to Jennifer, a supervisor, who was condescending, unhelpful and rude. She said, I have no choice but to pay them otherwise the burden is on me because they can basically do whatever they want. They are not an honorable company. They said, that I have to pay for the drivers time to come by and check for trash. Even though I helped two neighbors, one on each side of me and one across the street sign up for their service so they were already coming by. I am disappointed in their customer service and that the burden to get a response from them is on me. Even though I tried several different forms of contact. I DO NOT recommend using them.
Not sure if if our route is under a new guy or not, but I LOVE the guys on our route. They are very accommodating and pick up all of our trash professionally. We have a family of 7 so we tend to have more trash than regular folks. Thank you, guys!!! Youre awesome!
This used to be a prompt, reliable company. What has happened? We had our recyclables out Sunday night for Monday pickup, which didn’t happen. My wife calls on Tuesday, and after waiting 15-20 minutes, is told “As a special courtesy, we’ll send someone out to get it today.” A special courtesy to do what were paying them a lot to do? But they still don’t pick it up.On Wednesday, she calls again, and has to wait another 15 minutes. “That order was actually put in for today,” she is told by the very nice lady. “Someone will be there be 7 p.m. to get it.” So now it’s Friday, and nothing has happened, as the trash pile out in the street grows ever larger… I called this time, and was told, well have someone out today to pick it up...
We’ve been with WC for more than six months now, and are very satisfied. The collectors work very hard and I’ve seen them go out of their way to pick up litter on our street. Probably not a big deal, but I’ve witnessed other services in our neighborhood leave trash that falls out of the cans they are collecting, so I’m happy with the WC folks I’ve encountered.Customer service was helpful when we needed it, but we do almost everything online.
Nothing specific to call out other than a general appreciation for how absolutely essential this service is to our society. I’m guessing very few people pause to say thanks, so, thank you.
My trash guys have been great! If anything they are extra courteous with my elderly folks. A few stumbling blocks with the office. We get good service from the guys.
So I got converted from another company when they sold. Waste Connections was not up front about the services and soon canceled many of the services the small company had. But that not the biggest issue. The customer service is absurd. Call at 2 pm and wait on hold for 45 mins, call at 9 am and same thing. No way to cancel their service besides calling. After 6 months of trying to call I finally got a hold of someone and they are saying they are going to back charge me. I don’t have a contract with them so I hope they waste their time and money. Avoid Waste Connections.
I moved and finally got away from this company. I was very happy with my new company and then this company came and bought them out. UGH!! Long wait times on hold (and then they hang up). Cannot easily pay or get ahold of someone... EVER.Oh, and they took all of my Christmas decor and threw it away.
They dont communicate to homeowners when they will not be picking up trash. We have gone several days without pickup or return phone calls
They NEVER answer their phone, you can never communicate with them, waste half your life on hold trying to just get in contact with them. Then they mess up your order/service and develop attitude due to their error. Needs a lot more help and with any kind of professionalism/experience would be helpful.

Driver/collector is always prompt, on time every week and professional. When he collects he does not leave a mess around teach cans on the street for me to clean up and he leaves the cans close by the side and not in the road way. This company is very reliable and recommendable.

Got the details and questions answered, then ordered residential waste service. Gave 5 stars because sign up was easy. Hoping service is 5 start too (will delete stars later if not but good for now). Big containers too.
This service started off poorly because the office kept saying pickup should be curbside. I was not getting pickup and when I called repeatedly I had to wait on hold for 20-30 to talk to someone. All except for one person was very friendly and professional. But I did not start getting regular pickup until I finally saw a truck picking up neighbors task in the alley. It took talking to the driver and a few more phone calls to confirm that pickup is in the alley. After a month and a half of frustration, Ive had a few weeks of regular pickups so I am revising my rating to 4 stars. I was told I have a credit for the missed pickups. I appreciate that the customer service was at least polite even when they werent solving the problem.
Christina in Customer Service was so professional and quick to think out of the box when we experienced a glitch. She made all the difference between a disaster and a solution that worked well for us. She is an amazing asset to Waste Connections. I am personally so thankful that my call was answered by her. Im in a small HOA and weve been using WC since they acquired Pro Disposal. However this past week gave clarity as to why they only have 2.7 stars out of 5!This past Monday was both trash/recycle pick up however they did not empty one of our two recycling containers that weve had for 4 years. I called in and said our address was under a different name (former owner who we bought the house from in 2015), yet it was first time this came up and Ive called in before for other needs. The lady I spoke with was less than friendly but said she would create a new account and have this bin picked up the next day on Tuesday.Thursday afternoon comes around and it was still sitting at the end of our driveway. I called in again after another 15 minute wait. The new rep was very friendly with many apologies but acknowledged the other rep never created our account and thus no pick up. This new rep confirmed without question our 5 day old recycling was going to be picked up yesterday. Guess what, it never happened! So it seems that service is not their commitment and they need to make some internal changes!!! As a result, Ill be throwing away this bin of recycling in the trash on Monday because I simply dont have an available bin for the next 7 days. Ill also be reaching out to our HOA to look into alternative companies because they just cant follow up and get the job done.
Even though the wait time on hold was long, I received great customer service from Noreen after my call was answered. Being involved in the self described debacle of the City of Arvadas feeble attempt for a mandated city wide trash service provider, that has failed miserably, she was able to to inform me of their services and to add me to their list of subscribers, probably forever.
We are regretting staying with them instead of switching to the city of Arvada. They agreed to match the rate with signing a 2 year contract, however after 2 phone calls they finally dropped off our recycle can but 20 days in now and they have not picked up the recycling and only pick up the trash. I wait 45 minutes on the phone and no one answers.
Our Garbage/recycling men & women will come up to the driveway for it if we cant, due to weather or inability to get out down the driveway. My moms in her late 80s and Im disabled. Were truly appreciative of all they do and continue to do for us.Muchas gracias de familia Chávez.

Recently I witnessed the driver of truck number 30652 pick up a load of trash in my neighborhood and proceed to his next stop while blowing trash out of the top all the way down University Blvd. Large articles were flying out the top of the truck. I followed the truck and at his next stop I informed The driver he was littering. His response was that he could do nothing about it and said to call management if I cared to. I have attempted to do that. However when calling the company phone all I get is a recording….my last hold was for over 30 minutes…I gave up. The recording said “we are helping our other valued customers “. Ha, ha. Denver needs a new trash vendor
So lazy, wont pick up trash for weeks, wont put the dumster back in its place, leaves trash all over the parking lot and street! Cant figure out how to load pictures but i have several that are just disgusting! Do not use this service unless you want maggots and rats!
Horrible company. Double charged me many times. They charge for drop off of a garbage can. Monthly can rental. Then when I went to cancel with them the charged me for the can pick up again. Dont use this company.
Waste Connections always picks up what I put out there. There normal week to week pick up exceeds any other company. So glad they help keep my house clean. They do such great work.

We’ve had no problem with the company itself or picks but if you decide to go with this company make sure you never forget to put your trash out or they charge $64 to come back or if you wait until next pick it up and if it’s overflowing its $20 charge. I see where they make up for cheap service.

I would give zero stars if I could. Had trouble with them ever since they took over from prodisposal. They would often double bill me and I would have to call every time to get it straightened out. If they missed my house in collection, which happened more than once, I was told it must be because it is a new guy and does not know the route. Again more phone calls to straighten out. Finally, I had enough when they did not pick up after holiday week (according to their website it was a day later) and told me it would be a $64 return fee. This company is terrible.

Charged 25$ for them to come pickup their cans when we canceled service. They missed the scheduled pickup date. Spent 20 minutes on hold to be told that theyre short staffed and cant give me an updated pickup date. I asked if Im supposed to have your cans hanging out in front of my house for the next month till you guys find to come get YOUR CANS? Only response was that it might be before a month.

Tried to sign up for Waste Connections, first they put the wrong name on the contract, I asked for a new one and they never followed up with me. The lady I talked to had no idea what she was doing. WC quoted me $20 a month for both Trash and Recycle with a two year contract. Waste Management is $24 a month no contract. I will gladly pay $4 more a month for a more professional service.

I called to update my credit card for my auto pay which has to be done online for security. Christina stayed on the phone the entire time with me and walked me through the process and had to reset my password twice. She never was impatient and was friendly and courteous the entire time. She was very pleasant, courteous and professional the whole time.With todays environment a lot of people are inpatient and not always pleasant, but Christina was a ray of sunshine on a cloudy day, Waste Connections has done a great job for me and with people like Christina in their Customer Service Dept this is a great company from top to bottom!!Thank you!!
I signed up to rent two trash cans from waste connections. When they dropped them off they took my personal trash can. I called the company to request that it be returned and I was called a liar, told that they did not take the trash can and they are not responsible and would do nothing. Stay away- this company is full of liars and thieves.
Have been trying to cancel for 3 months and cant get a hold of anyone through email or calling. I already switched to Soco Waste and they are so much better.Springs Waste/Waste Connections trash cans still sitting outside and they keep calling now wanting the next quarters payment. Their pickups were about 50/50 for the three years I had them. Recycling got picked up about once every three weeks.
We cancelled with them, and after they picked up their garbage can, they billed us for the month that we didnt have service with them! We called three times, plus email. Horrible, horrible customer service. You will wait 20 minutes to speak with someone. If you cancel with them, BEWARE. They will still bill you.

I have forgotten to pull out my trash can, and my driver has grabbed my trash for me. You cant get service better than that. He never leaves my trash cans all over the street. Puts the covers back on all that good little stuff. No issues with the driver. Great job!

Their app does not work properly does not notify you like it should. Their drivers ignore your house will pick up your neighbors trash but will not pick up your own trash. A trash company that wont even pick up trash is not a very good company. I got stuck with this company because the trash company keeps trading hands this company sucks and Im about to switch.
Surly unprofessional office staff, horrible service with many weeks where not only our house but our neighborhood trash pickup just didnt happen. I had two accounts/addresses located in separate towns and the bookeeping continuously had these two addresses mixed up with two payments to one account and no payment to the other. When Id call, no one cared or knew how to remedy the problem so Id just have to make another payment. I am very patient but enough is simply enough.

As a broker, I rely on TIMELY service for our customers and clear communication with Waste Connections is key. My rep Mathew Morris always answers my email requests and communicates with me and gets the job done...He is top notch! Waste Connections is one of my favorite haulers to work with.
You will spend almost an hour on hold waiting for someone to pick up the line. Their phone service then keeps dropping the line, so after the long wait you get to call back in. Terrible service just to try to give them business.
Needed a dumpster for a home renovation and they got delivered it within two days. Mathew provided excellent service and helped me with all the questions I had. If you are seeking excellent service, ask for Mathew.

Wow - after talking to Waste Management & Republic, representative Vanessa was quick, efficient and friendly, and this service much more exonomical, plus they allow you to bundle tree limbs, put out extra bags of leaves etc. WM said only what fits in their cans without extra charges. SOLD.

The most overpriced and unprofessional trash company Ive ever experienced. It truly is trash. Noreen, in customer service and billing was nothing but condescending and argumentative. Dont waste your time with this trash company.
We set out the general trashcan along with a personal container that was a bit smaller and they removed the trash like normal, but also our personal container. We have been putting both out for three years and havent once had an issue before. When we called their service line, they told us that they were not responsible for the things they took and would not be assisting us. Very unprofessional. To top it all off, they were also late on their pick up time today.
They do good as far as weekly service. but only get the recycle biweekly. with the pandemic and ordering on line alot my recycle is over flowing within a week and i have to put recycled materials into the normal garbage.

They will forget to bill you and then send a bill stating that you are late on paying. I would have paid before the due date had that sent me a bill to begin with. Then after paying my bill they stopped picking up my trash and recycling for 2 weeks. What kind of company forgets to send out their bills to customers! This company is run like trash

Been trying for over a month to get a broken trash receptacle replaced. every time I call on hold for over 20 minutes before I reach a live person and they promised next week will be the time.Update:Took them 5 weeks to replace damaged trash receptacleUpdate: 1/31/20 trash pic up today and trash can was tipped over and only about half emptied with most of the remaining half on the ground Which we had to pick up and refill our can. Recycle can was only emptied halfway WTH...Called and put on perma hold for 30 min drive into work as I had to hang up or be late to work. Called again at 1 p.m. today, on hold for over 18 min, and then just mysteriously disconnected. Sucks we paid up till April. Will definitely be canceling and going with another provider.
Terrible customer service, not interested in taking care of customers
I ordered a roll off for 4/13-4/16. The roll off was not delivered until 4 pm on 4/13 which at the time no big deal. On 4/16 we walked out to finish getting rid of some things that we weren’t able to throw away the night before due to the snow and it was gone by 11 am. I called asking to be reimbursed in some capacity because we didn’t even get it for a full 3 days and it was $460. The first woman I spoke to, Erin, informed me that there are no guarantees on pick up and drop off times and there was no way to be compensated. I shared that it isn’t posted on the description of the roll off or in my receipt that pick up/drop off times can happen whenever and that me expecting it until 4 pm because it wasn’t delivered until 4 pm was just a “customer assumption that they have no control over”. I asked to speak to the manager, Jennifer, who reiterated everything that Erin said especially the part about how this problem was due to my assumptions. She said there was no way to compensate me- finally after about 5 minutes of her saying she’s sorry but there’s nothing she can do she informed me that ONLY thing she could do was give me a $10 dollar credit for the day I missed out on. I asked how $10 is the daily rate when the roll off costs 460 dollars and she shared that everything else is additional fees and taxes 😳 $360 dollars in fees and taxes. Woof. So anyway- if they say they can’t compensate you they can, a whopping $10 dollars, they will not change the website stating that drop off and pick up times are not guaranteed and they won’t let you talk to anyone higher than the manager.

Waste Management claims to require telephone notification to cancel service after notification electronically. The phone disconnects shortly after calling so it appears impossible to speak with their representative.

They bought out my former service provider under which my 1 little trash can and the recycle bin were returned to the house; new company does not do that. As a disabled senior, this is a sorely missed, literally and figuratively...not being funny. Also, they can pick up my stuff in about 5 seconds, while most other people have 3 - 5 cans overflowing, so what I pay (which also sounds like more than what many posted here,) seems way expensive. The only thing that made me renew is that service in my area is pretty good, very few misses (once they got the new co. scheduling figured out.) The service guys seem very efficient.

We have been using Waste Connections for some time and were pleased with their service... until we added recycling service! They REFUSE to pick up our recycle, even though it is placed right next to the trash!! Weve called to complain and customer service is friendly, but the issue is still not resolved. Very frustrating!! 😡
Has missed recycling pickup days by 1-4 days each week for 7 of the last 8 weeks. Despite numerous requests to resolve this, they continue to get it wrong, resulting in piles of trash outside my bins.
