I am re-writing this formerly negative review after speaking with the owner about my concerns with the level of customer service Ive experienced over the last nearly two years of membership. I was heartened to hear from the owner, and value his interest in my experience.I believe in the mission of this company, and hope that they continue to grow in a sustainable way, in alignment with their mission.

Love this service! Great price, great company! It’s very sustainable, well run, and they give you lots of little gifts if your buckets to introduce you to other sustainable products!:) highly, highly recommend!!

I have been satisfied with using this service. I was glad to find out I was able to compost while living in a condo. Composting is just one small thing I can do to try and counteract our global warming problem. The price is very reasonable and competitive with other services. They have been very responsive to my communication and have strived to work out any concerns I have had. It is great that they educate about sustainability and offer the swap shop.

I moved into an apartment complex in Denver two years ago and have used Compost Colorado the entire time to compost weekly through their bucket program! So easy and convenient. Plus, they sometimes include local sustainable business goodies which have been awesome. Could not recommend enough.

Compost Colorado made composting from our apartment convenient. No need to drive to drop off, they exchange your buckets weekly right outside your door. Definitely recommend for you and for earth

The business has great product but scaled too quickly and is going through some growing pains. They do make composting easy and I believe they will figure it out.

A company that makes sustainability easy for all. My husband and I live in an apartment and just though composting was something we couldn’t do. But Compost Colorado made it easy! Their Simple Swap shop is so convenient and has great quality products.

Unfortunately, if you live in an apartment, I would not recommend this service. CoCo pick-up happens at all times of the day and theyve been inconsistent with sending an ETA. Most apartment complexes will not let you leave items out in common areas for hours at a time--they will have maintenance throw it away-- so this model really doesnt work for apartments.No one has ever answered the company phone and the voicemail box has been full for the last 7 months. Email replies usually take 2-3 days.Composting is great, but, at $30+ per month this service is way too expensive for the amount of customer service they provide. I suggest finding a drop-off site if you live in an apartment and want to compost.

They are a consumer products subscription box service with benefits, not necessarily a composting service. They should rebrand themselves to not be confusing. Theyre is no way to get composting without a bunch of expensive addons.Edit for response:Thus my critique of your branding. You should be called Sustainable consumer products Colorado because you are only kind of a composting service and mostly a subscription box. Regarding pricing you are 2-5x more expensive than your average residential curbside composting, the additional cost I can only imagine goes to cover the subscription box goodies.All for sustainability, but I need composting not zero - waste product delivery.

Super easy to set up, super communicative - like same day. Consistent, good quality buckets. I live in an apartment building and they make composting so dang easy. Definitely recommend it. Treat yoself and treat Mama Earth.

Loving the composting service thus far! We live in a townhouse and arent able to have our own compost. It feels so great to still be able to be eco-friendly and reduce our trash amount going to the landfill. We cook a ton at home and accumulate food scraps daily along with coffee grinds. The weekly pickup and 3.5 gal bucket is perfect for us.

Compost Colorado is a wonderful service and a much needed solution for providing environmental waste options in and around the Denver area! Their weekly pickup and drop off service make composting so easy. I love shopping in their zero waste Simple Swaps Shop too. Definitely worth checking out!

I really wanted to love this company. I placed an order 20 days ago, paid $300 for the year and have not heard a word from them. I emailed and asked whats up, no response. They have my money but so far Im left without any type of communication or service.Edit: I just spoke with the owner of this company and he was professional and apologized. Apparently I am outside the service area (it seemed that I was right inside the lines when I looked during my sign up). I was assured I’d be refunded.

Great service, easy to use. Home delivery bucket swap is a great deal. Staff is responsive and kind. I am a happy customer!

Buckets are clean and smell free! It is so convenient to have it picked up each week! Theyre very friendly and have been responsive to any help Ive needed or questions Ive had.

CoCo does a great job of paying attention to small sustainable brands and offering a platform for their marketing in a unique and meaningful way. Still love the products given to members - a lovely bonus for already feeling good about reducing food waste in Denver.

Becoming a coco member has made composting so much easier. I really like how they clean our bin every week. Their online store has some neat products as well!

So thankful for Compost Colorado! Weve been wanting to do composting for a while but this is the first time weve lived in an area where it was available. Feels really good to divert some of our waste from going to a landfill and think that it now serves a purpose of creating soil. Also our trash no longer stinks!!!! Which was a huge annoyance to my partner, no matter what we did it always smelled! Now our actual trash smells fine and we take it out maybe once or twice a month? (12 gallon trash can for reference.)
