I have been to this nail salon for a shellac manicure and a pedicure before and had a positive experience. However, I would not recommend them for a dip manicure. This was my first time getting the dip at this specific salon and I was not satisfied. I asked for my normal nails to be filed in almond shape and they ended up extremely short and round. They do all the shaving, buffing and shaping with a hand file which left the dip extremely thick and also caused the staff to cut me multiple times. I paid almost $70 to walk out unhappy.
The young lady was very detailed and did a wonderful job. Its probably the best Ive had in long time.
Just finished a lovely gel pedicure at the salon. My technician was gentle and my pedicure turned out beautifully. Will return when visiting. Thank you.
Please don’t go here!!! I got my nails done here (gel manicure) during the service the lights burned my fingers when I told the lady it was burning she told me it was because my nails were too thin (I get my nails done only for special occasions). After the fact my nail polish chipped after the first day. Almost all nails were chipped by day 3. The tools were not cleaned and the nail file they used on me was used previously, which ended up giving me and nail fungus. After reading some reviews on this place I realized I was completely over priced as I just got a gel polish manicure ( no organic polish) and was charged $65. I did give her $10 tip after the fact but will never return.
My experience was amazing! Highly recommend. They are clean, professional and the results were exactly what I wanted.
One of the best nail salons I’ve ever been to! Excellent service, very sweet staff. Wish they had a shop in my town
I didn’t catch the names of the ladies that did my nails, but they were fantastic! They truly did an amazing job!! Steer clear of the younger technician, she was rude to the person I was with, the two women I got were the two older ones, and they definitely knew what they were doing! Even the massages were so good!
This was my first time visiting this business. I received a pedicure. They did an amazing job, took their time, it was a fantastic experience. I look forward to returning in the future ☺
All the ladies were so welcoming and patient! This is by far the best place I have ever been too !
Great place for a manicure and pedicure. I go there monthly.
Establishment is nice and visually pleasing. Workers are very nice and hospitable. I was offered tea, coffee, water or wine. All great indicators. However, the services were far beyond disappointing. I paid $65 for a full set only to be given a mediocre manicure and a nail fell off only 4 days later. They began working on my feet and hands without prior soaking. This made it unnecessarily painful. Cuticle was not cleared and a nail fell off on its own only 4 days after. The full (dip powder) set was NOT worth the time nor the money. The pedi was better but still mid. Ive has better for less.
Im not sure how this place is still open. Theres never anyone there. I want so badly to like this place bc of the location, but every time Ive gone the prices are different. They tried to tell me my shellac manicure with tips was going to be $30 more than usual just bc of the tips. I am again on the hunt for a new nail salon. My shellac manicure was great, just wish I had known the price before they started.
I’ve never experienced a more clean, welcoming, and professional nail salon. We called just 15 minutes before we arrived and were welcome with open arms (figuratively speaking, with COVID and all). The person doing my girlfriend’s finger and toe nails has truly perfected her craft. I can’t speak highly enough about this place. She had a plethora of choices when it came to color and the salon truly was like a getaway.
I was just there to get a pedicure for a Christmas party and asked for snowflakes on big toes. There is paint all along the side of my toe and my snowflakes are red from my red nail polish not white. I was told they wouldnt charge me but instead of fixing it they let me leave like that. Will need to have it re-done. DO NOT EVER ASK FOR NAIL ART AT THIS PLACE.
I had a pretty great experience at this salon—the staff was very friendly and attended me right away. While the prices are very high ($70 for shellac mani + regular pedi), they were sweet and made me feel comfortable, and many places don’t offer that. I’m assuming the location had something to do with the high pricing too. I’ll definitely go back again when I have the extra money to treat myself!
Absolutely fantastic spot. I have been getting my nails done for 5 years now and have never been to a place quite like it. All tools used were opened fresh from packaging, they did not use the electronic nail filing machine before applying shellac. Comfy chairs with large open space. The lady who did my nails even gave me a complimentary shoulder massage while my nails dried. I am one very satisfied customer!!
It was great! She did a wonderful job and I’m so happy with how they turned out! I just walked in and got in and out fairly quickly!
I enjoyed the ambiance of Pure; being that I was just visiting Denver for the weekend I wanted to treat myself to a mani/pedi. Just like other customers have said, $65 dollars is pretty steep for a basic pedicure. It’s not worth the money. I also paid $65 for the “dip in tip” but I had two nails break by Monday. Mind you, I just got them done Saturday. I’m disappointed Bc I live out of town and would be unable to get them fixed.
Super cute and clean. Kind of in a hidden spot. Nails and toes look amazing. They even did my nails and toes at the same time.
Okay so I’ve been to this place twice and I had a good experience both times. I had a powder dip manicure both times, they were friendly, and you get a shoulder massage along with cuticle care and hand massage for only $50 before tip. **Please be warned though!!!**They file away with nail files, not nail drills that are safe for your natural nails!! This weakened my nail bed so severely, my natural nails bent like paper under any pressure. My nails have never been weaker in my life. The first time I went I had such a great experience I thought I had found my new place, I even got a punch card!I went for the second time and after experiencing painful removal of the dip, I saw how weak my nails were and made a comment. I was hesitant to get dip again and asked if they were too weak for dip or gel even and I got brushed off and responses like “dip makes them stronger you’ll be okay” so I let her finish.. after safely removing the dip myself a week later, I have never had more pain in my life. My nail bed is so thin throughout the nail that I can feel any pressure or heat and it burns. My nails not only break but rip in half up the middle of my nail. This has NEVER happened to me before! My nails have always been on the stronger side until now.I’m not sure if their gel manicure is different or any of their other services, I just want to warn others because this is the worst experience I’ve ever had. I never leave reviews but felt I needed to warn the public! DO NOT COME HERE
Having just moved to Denver, I was looking for a nail salon to get a manicure and pedicure as the metro started opening up from COVID-19. I happened upon Pure Nail Bar after seeing the updates they made on Google to ensure safety of their clients (I did not see any other announcements made from other salons). While this is what got me in the door, I was blown away by not only the cleanliness and friendliness, but the attention to detail that was given to my nails. It was a little more price wise than I’m used to paying, but worth it ($70 gel manicure and regular pedicure). I’ll definitely be back!***Update: my shellac started peeling after a week. I’m disappointed .
I went for a gel manicure. The person who did my nails was very nice. But within 2 days one nail chipped. By the end of the first week, 2 nails had cracked! I have had many gel manicures and this was the first time it did not last at least 3 weeks! I don’t think she put my nails under the light long enough. My nails were still kind of soft. Won’t be going back here again.
Love this place. Easy quick walk ins. I’ve never had to wait. Friendly providers. Highly recommend it!!
Had a manicure and deluxe pedicure today. Loved every minute! Genuinely friendly staff, clean and comfortable setting, and perfect nails are all I could ask for:)
I have been here a couple of times. Love the place! Great staff & very clean.Highly recommended! Is is the ONLY organic nail salon in the area. My girlfriend took me here and we will definitely come back!
Im from overseas and tried the salon based on other reviews. Walked in and straight away started removal and reapply of dipping powder. Very happy with the results - ladies were all lovely and salon was clean and well presented.
I love French Nail Cafe! The service is always great. Everyone who works there is so friendly and they all do a wonderful job all around. This is now my only nail salon.
Guys I hate to leave a bad review, but this place is not worth your time. I went on a Saturday and there was only three people working. It should’ve been a bad sign they weren’t busy. I got the spa pedicure and she definitely didn’t do anything different than a regular pedicure and it cost $65. Also I tipped 20% because that’s the lowest on the credit card machine for a total of $78. I think if it’s this expensive you should have a stellar experience.
Great place to get your nails done while having a glass of wine
I broke my nail at the office and popped in after work one day and I was pleasantly surprised how bright and welcoming the space was even though we were below street level. I had a gel polish change; they have great OPI color choices in gel polish, overall it took about 40 minutes for gel removal and new polish, she even shaped and buffed my nails (they dont all do that with just a polish change), the price was $25 before tip which is the same I pay out in the suburbs.Seems to be a clean, well looked after establishment with sanitized packets of tools and I watched them them scrub and sanitize the pedicure basins after another client. No acrylic services so if you are sensitive to that smell, this is a good option for you as well.
Stopped in for a quick pedicure with a few family members on a Saturday. There were only 2 or 3 staff working and it took forever - one lady worked on our three pedicures at the same time, so two of us were sitting with our feet in cold water for an hour while the third got hers done first. When she finally got around to us she nipped the skin around my toenails so much that I was bleeding!! It hurt super bad. I have gotten hundreds of pedicures and have a high pain tolerance and I have NEVER been in so much pain during a pedicure. My toes are still really sore the next day. To top it off, doing gel instead of regular polish would have cost an extra $15. That’s insane. Would not recommend.
I avoided this place like the plague 2 years ago as, at that time, the staff was rude, the service was horrible and the gel mani peeled after 2 days, etc....Forward to 6 months ago, new owners, new technicians. Ive had several technicians work on me, they are thorough, professional and my gel mani stays on close to 4 weeks, every time. I highly recommend this place and encourage you to ignore reviews older than 6 months, it was a different salon then.
Although this place is beautiful on the inside, extremely clean and relatively friendly with a great color selection neatly hung on the wall, I got one of the most mediocre pedicures Ive ever received. It is way to quick (barely any foot/leg massage, no real nail clean just cuticle) and certainly not worth $35. They want you in and out of there as fast as possible. I will not recommend the services here to my friends or return.
Super friendly. Nice location, nice decor. We laughed the whole time. Great group!
Such a nice staff and no mechanical devices for my dip manicure, so much healthier on my nails, and they looked fabulous.
Would give this salon a half star if I could. Honestly the worst experience and a WASTE money. I could tell by how she was doing my nails the tech had no clue how to do nails with a tip and dipping powder. All my nails peeled off the same evening. I am so disappointed and disgusted at the quality. DONT GO HERE AND SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!
I was visiting from Wyoming, and popped in for a manicure. My nails looked perfect when Bola was done. I would definitely recommend her at French Nails Cafe.
I thought Id pop on on my lunch hour and at least get the old polish off and get a quick manicure and new polish if time. Not only did I have the slowest nail tech EVER, she was extremely rude to me when I told her I didnt have time for polish (because she was so slow). She went even slower and didnt even bother to soak my nails, shape or buff them. Nada. Sent me out with roughed up nails. When I questioned her she stated rudely that I had said only color removal. I will never go back.
Quite possibly the worst mani I have ever had. A quick clip and light file, with no cuticle maintenance. She did a nice job of paint, but, I hoped for more with a $30 cost. Go elsewhere.
Super fast and excellent work. Can’t wait to come again!
They where great!
Tina is amazing! Such a wonderful place 👍🏻♥️
I am in from out of town and stopped in for a pedicure and eyebrow wax. This place is so clean and nice! They did a great job and the massage chair was wonderful!
I wanted a pedicure for me and my cousin for her birthday and luckily this location had an opening on Easter! They were kind and did a great job. Before we left they said if we needed them fixed (because we explained we would be playing volleyball in a few hours) we can get them fixed for free. I did end up messing up both my big toes and I called 2 days later and they got me in right away and did a great job fixing them, and just like they said no charge! I will definitely be going back.Side note: It took me a second to find it but as long as you walk down the stairs by the Starbucks it is right there on your left!
I used to love this place. The past couple of times Ive visited Ive gotten terrible service from more than one technician, acting incredibly rude throughout my entire manicure/pedicure. I spend enough $ here to take it somewhere else without having to be treated this way when Im trying to pamper myself. Not a great environment anymore.
Without a doubt the worse manicure I’ve ever had. $20 plus tip for 12 minutes. She cut my cuticle yet kept painting over the blood. After I was dry she redid that nail & I walked out disgusted. DO NOT GO HERE! Price includes, soak, shape nails, cutical care, scrub, massage & polish. No scrub, no massage and the polish isn’t even to the edges of my nail beds. The only reason I gave 1 star is because there is no option for less
Service was amazing, kind, quick, and great quality. In town for a conference, went to the nail studio in the mall at 10 am and they said 50 min wait. I called Fremch Nail Cafe and they were able to do my gel mani/pedicure at the same time (and there are 5 other customers here). Beyond excellent pedicure - lots of massage and lotion. Gel pedicure was quick and professional. Overall a GREAT experience. As my toe nails were drying, they even gave me a free quick back massage. Would absolutely recommend!!
Best nail salon Ive been to in a long time. Immaculate pedicure and they even give you a shoulder massage while you are waiting for your nails to dry. Super cute salon, Ill be back often!
I got a gel manicure and a pedicure here while I was in town for a wedding. I was a little nervous because some of the other negative reviews, but I am so glad I ended up at this place! Everyone was very nice, the atmosphere was very relaxing, it was clean, there was no one in there which is awesome for a Saturday morning--my local nail salon is never this empty on the weekends--and they did an incredible job. My nails are still going strong 10 days later! Usually by now they would be starting to come up at the bottom, but not these. It was a little expensive, but I think worth it because of the good quality. I would definitely go back!
Cute nail spot! Great services and quality!
So cute and the women were very attentive to you. Made you feel like a princess. Will definitely come back
Good service, very nice ladies. Repaired broken nails and did an excellent gel manicure.
Very sweet staff and the environment was awesome but just like the review below me, my gel manicure ($35) started chipping and peeling within less than a week. Super disappointing :(
I walked in asking to buy nail polish remover during a quick break during a conference. I didn’t have enough time to walk to Walgreens and I didn’t think it was a crazy request, as some salons sell products. The owners (I assume they were the owners) were very rude. They barely acknowledged me and even though they heard and understood my question, they continued to ignore me until I asked again and the woman just gave me a very dirty look. It was clear she wanted to humiliate me in front of the customers. I was polite and not at all pushy but she wanted to make me feel stupid for asking a simple question. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere.
I had dip nails on and they about tore up my nails removing them. Then said they think the dip nails are hurting my nail bed. Seriously? You just repeatedly ran a rough nail file over my nails. My nails looked rough when she was done. I dont have that problem at my regular salon. I did Shellac since they dont do dip nails and they look okay but the lengths on my thumbs dont match.Pedicure would have been nicer if at the same time the other lady wasnt trying to take my dip nails off! Toes look good but my feet are still rough feeling.More expensive than my regular salon and not as good as them either.
Good manicure, but very unfriendly manicurist who made me feel like I was inconveniencing her! Her manner was very aggressive, even roughly pushing my fingers out of the way. Not a good experience.
Immaculately clean; professional; and so nice. Arriving 90 minutes before the salon closed with gel polish from previous mani/pedi. The polish was soaked off with acetone and foil wraps vs. quick and damaging gel polish removal with the use of a dremel. Careful and thorough cuticle removal with a gorgeous completed mani/pedi. A very pleasant experience for a job well done.
I stopped in for a mani pedi and I could not have asked for better service. They were very friendly and you could tell they knew what they were doing. While they were efficient, they did a wonderful job.
Clean, professional and reasonably priced. Its a little hard to locate, on the corner of 16th and Tremont there is a downstairs in the outdoor shopping center and it is directly to your left. One bit of advise: make an appointment! These girls are usually busy and the wait can be pretty long if you dont call ahead.
I have been there a few times now and sometimes its great sometimes its terrible. Yesterday I had a woman who filed so hard my finger bled and it didnt even phase her when I pulled it away. I got a really light color gel and she did two coats and when I asked for a third because it was still see through she acted inconvenienced. Its just really hit or miss there.
In town for a wedding and staying across the street..Fast service (20 minutes for a gel mani), but the same rate they charge me in DC for way less. Not friendly, no frills, just ok mani. If you’re in a rush, I’d come here, If you want to feel relaxed and or pampered...I’d look elsewhere.
I love this place, Its clean, they are so nice and they do a great job.
Was sad to find that they didnt do acrylics, but over all service, timing and just every thing else was absolutely fantastic. And I loved the sweet woman who did my pedicure.(:
Hands down the best mani pedi I have ever had. They also made my eyebrows look amazing! Would definitely recommend.
I went here with a couple work friends for a Friday evening mani pedi. I got and paid for a gel manicure ($70 all together. Not cheap.) and 3 days later my nails were lifting! So I went back the following Monday to give them the opportunity to fix it. I asked her to just redo them all but she insisted on only doing the 4 nails that were already peeling. One week later and they’re already peeling again!! I’ve never had a gel manicure be so short lived. Even regular polish typically lasts me two weeks so I’m more than disappointed. I don’t have the time to keep going back to give them more opportunities to do it right. Also, they used previously used paper files. Cheap ones. For $70 I expect much more. I won’t be back.
The ladies are always very friendly! They are good about accommodating quick services during the lunch hour.
This is my favorite place for a mani / pedi. This salon is so clean and the atmosphere is so relaxing. Hands down the best place in Colorado.
Charged my credit card $35 when I was quoted $25 for a polish change. The experience was awful from the moment I walked in. I sadly didnt feel the need to leave a tip it was so bad, however when I got my statement of charges, the nail tech kindly gave herself a $7 tip in my card. Grrrr!
Im a cosmetologist and pretty picky. This place was great!! Clean and very friendly!
Great service and perfection on the finish, pedicurist worked really hard getting scaly skin off. I even got shoulder massage.
Lovely place and they do a great pedi!
Nail technicians seemed tired and bored. They rushed me out in under twenty minutes. More than one nail was smudged.
Lovely place and had a great pedicure. Look for them down the stairs from the Starbucks.
Little pricey but nice coffee
Extremely rude and raciest to my black friend so we walked out. I refise to ever give this place business again
Very clean and super friendly staff.
Hannah is an amazing nail specialist!
I had emergency need to get my nails dont last minute so I drove all the way there to find even though they advertise open until 7 I got there at 545 and they were closed!
Great service, and nice job.
Do not get your nails done here.I had one of the worst manicure ever. Had to go home and redo them.Place is clean, but that is about it.
Too long of a wait.
When you go inside, you want to leave a picture with a sense of service and a cozy classic image.
