I never used to get my nails done and now I’m a regular, because of Helena’s nails. Everyone who works here is so friendly, but also professional, and does an excellent job. I usually get dips with Jason and I am never disappointed. They can recreate whatever style you bring in, and if your technician isn’t the best at a particular style, they will have another technician come and complete the look for you. Super happy with this place, all my family have started coming here.

Worst gel manicure to date. Within 2 days, 2 nails on my non-dominant hand chipped. Within 7 the gel was lifting off the rest. Technician left both hands covered in white polish smudges, even after one mild attempt to sand the gel off my skin when I pointed this out. Certain cuticles were bleeding and have now scabbed. Included picture of the bizarrely uneven filing job. Waited 25 minutes after my scheduled appointment for what ended up being a 20 minute manicure. There are so many nail places in Denver - I suggest you find literally anywhere else to go.

Went there two weeks ago for a gel mani and normal pedi — they did a great job! Both are still looking good, no chipping :) friendly staff who took their time!

Did not have a good experience and quality of work was poor. The tech was not friendly and was acting like shed rather be anywhere else but there. The nail polish also peeled off completely on one nail not even 2 weeks after (usually goes up to a month). They were also fitting in walk-ins and ladies that were bringing in extra friends they had not booked time for, so I had to wait a while to get checked out - I think my tech forgot I was there at all and I had to wait to ask another tech to check me out. The place itself was messy, and its located next to a 7-11 where there may be vagrants high on drugs just hanging out there by the door of the nail salon. Will not be going back.

We had such a lovely time. The staff was kind and funny, the salon was clean and our toes look great! The massage chairs were unbelievably comfy!!

I am so happy to have found this salon. I have been coming to Helenas since 2019 and I have had various services- pedis(with and without gel polish), acrylic full sets(with gel), as well as dip powder on natural nails.Each time I was very happy with my results- I get compliments non-stop. In two years I have only had to return twice (once for a top coat smudge and the other for cracked dip/broken nail - both my fault) and I was immediately taken care of and *not charged* for the repair.I believe the pricing to be fair, consistent, and the staff is very friendly and accommodating!FYI - for sensitive noses, the space is small and there is occasionally(not always) an overpowering nail salon smell. I dont have an issue with the smell of acrylic and acetone, but some might. They do keep the door open, weather permitting.If you live in Cap Hill, Cheesman, or anywhere really, GO HERE.

Pedicure review:Im not the best person to judge a pedicure as this was where I had my first one ever. But from what I could tell, the service was professional and they seem to know what theyre doing. Especially, since I have sensitive feet. I was worried I was going to kick the person massaging my feet in the face. Thankfully, that didnt happen. I assume thats a regular occurrence for them.Manicure review:My girlfriend went to have her nails done after a couple other places failed to do it properly. (Nails would fall off the next day, etc.) Its been over a week now and the nails are still attached! Feels like a new record for her as of late. So I can commend Helenas Nails for the manicure.

Mimi gave me gorgeous purple SNS dip nails with tips, but unfortunately one nail broke on the same day. I called to get it fixed and they immediately booked me in at my desired time. Mia fixed my nail beautifully. All the staff were very polite and professional, and the salon is clean and tidy too. I would recommend this place :)

Best dip manicure Ive ever had! It lasts a really long time and is not super thick like other dip manicures.

I enjoying coming here to get my nails done. They have TONS of shellac colors that it can be a little overwhelming at first. I always make an appointment as it seems to typically be pretty busy (evenings). They do a good job and offer $2 off for paying in cash if the total is over $10.

This place is hands down the best Ive been to since the east coast, Jason was amazing! I really cant sing thier praise enough, my nails are perfect, and I couldnt be happier 😊

Been coming to Helena’s Nails for a couple of years now, never had a bad experience. Even when I was living in South Denver and no longer in the neighborhood, I continued to come back. They have like 50+ shellac colors, my favorite is the Chromatic series ((not sure what else to call it)). I constantly get compliments on these colors and they last 2+ weeks. They are a small shop with on street parking, and do accept walk ins, but an appointment can allow you to skip a line.COVID 19 UPDATE: Appointments only!!

Been coming here steadily for 4 years, it is always very clean and services are done in a timely fashion. Great price for what you get, Ive gone to a few other more expensive nail places in Denver and have been woefully disappointed. Their gel manicure lasts me weeks!

Visited here at the beginning of June to get my first manicure and pedicure. The ladies here are so sweet and it was a wonderful experience. I got some gel polish, and its lasted such a long time! It took nearly a month for it to barely begin coming off one of my nails. Definitely pay these ladies a visit! :)

These ladies were so busy but did a great job on my full set and made my boyfriend feel comfortable for his first mani/pedi.

First time here and they did a great job. The mani/pedi is a great price. They were not pushy about adding gel or waxing eyebrows which is awesome. The foot massage was great and relaxing. Will definitely be coming back.

I had to find a new spot because of COVID and I couldnt be happier! These ladies work so hard. Everything is clean, safe and it really is a great value for the price. Even though I only get pedicures and simple waxing I would recommend this place to anyone😊

The person doing my feet didnt cut my toe nails at all and he only used the scrub and lotion on my feet and ankles.. I couldnt pull my leggins up BC the woman was standing there rushing to do my nails. Usually the person doind my feet will lift my leggins if I cant. They look no good at all!! I wanted coffin and they just look crazy ill post a picture. But I ended up paying full price for everything.. Def wont be going back. Just moved to Denver trying to find a good nail place this could have been it but not worth the price.

Im a guy and how women have kept going to get pedicures a secret all these years is beyond me. But massage chair, hot water foot soak, toenail clipping, dead skin removal and foot / cal f massage for $30 is totally worth it.

Went to another salon to get a full set two weeks ago and two nails broke within five days. I tried to get back in to get them repaired and was told that the one woman who does acrylic nails is on vacation for four more days. I understand it’s the holidays so I went to Helena’s Nails and the woman who did my nails there was appalled at the job they had done. I don’t get acrylic nails often so I couldn’t tell the difference until she redid them and the difference is night and day. My nails look beautiful!

This place is to expensive for the horrible work they do. I asked for square shape and she gave me square round. The acrylic is super thick, its like I have cement blocks on my fingers. While filling my nails, she was so rough my actual nails were super sore the next day I could barely do anything. I do not recommend and Ill definitely never be back!!

Great nail place! The staff is kind and courteous, and made sure to ask me if I liked the polish after the first coat on the first nail. I got a glitter shellac gel polish, and they were nice about letting me get 3 coats of it to make it look fuller, since glitter is sparse in one or two coats. Good prices too, and availability for walk-ins is a plus (I had an appointment but saw a few other people doing walkins with not much delay in wait times). Would go there again and recommend to friends!

I LOVE this place! I have been coming for over 5 years and they recently gave the salon a complete face lift! The service is great and they spend LOTS of time massaging both your hands and feet. Its a cute little hole in the wall but dont let that deter you from going because its a great vibe with great staff. The prices are average and worth every penny due to the time they spend on you!

Good place if youre nearby, a little more expensive than some other places Ive been but the pedicure comes with the salt scrub and massage so Im assuming its just bulit into the price they dont have a lower option. Definitely call ahead of time though, its small and gets crowded easily

I like this nail place. I like that they use a new set of tools on every customer, so there cant be contamination. The service is very good, as well as the prices. Parking is on the street, which perhaps could be around the block or so. Small in size, yet what good service they provide. See you there. I will be the one trying to choose the color of polish that I want for my Mani and/or pedi, or bring your own polish too, so you can do your own touch up between visits. See you there!

I have gone a few times because it was affordable, but the manicures are of poor quality and the prices have gone up. Every time I have been, my cuticles end up bleeding on 1-2 fingers and the manicures always chip/peel in about a week (maybe 4-5 appointments throughout the year). I paid $75 for a mani/pedi, plus a double tip because they get you with two employees. My ring finger and forefinger bled, again, and the manicure peeled and chipped in 6 days. Soooo disappointed in myself for not learning my lesson and going to a better salon.

Ive been coming here on and off for over 10 years. Its always consistent in terms of quality and skills of the staff. they are friendly and always available for walk ins. Its of course, not a fancy Cherry Creek salon, but for what you get, the value is there for the price (I do shellac and pedicure and its $50 for both).

I have been going to Helenas for 3 years and honestly wont spend my money elsewhere on my nails. Friendly service, they dont skimp or rush through their work and my nails look great for a whole week after getting normal shellac. Go support this spot.

My experience at Helenas is typically a good one...not this time. This time it was actually painful. The technician cut me once on top of my toe, and while filing my toe nails, was also filing the skin on my toes, which was painful. Also, all of the dead skin on my heels was ignored, so those were the same when I left. I felt like the technician was in a big hurry, so the waiting customers could be served. Once again...in search of a gentle salon.

I have been to Helenas a few times for both manicures and pedicures. Good service, and lasts.My recent trip I had my brows waxed and got a really bad allergic reaction or infection, not sure yet. I had to go to the dermatologist because my eyes were so swollen I could barely see. I do not recommend getting a brow wax here as it has not cost me a doctor visit, medicine, and quite a bit of pain.

Frist and most, this place of business is NOT TO BE TRUSTED!!! For that reason,they take out more money from your credit card without your permission. After, a couple of days I check my bank statement and they add $20.00 more to my credit card for a tip. Even though, I gave the lady a cash tip when I paid her for doing my nails. However, I gave her a $8:00 tip because the bill was only $40.00 and I think I gave her a fair amount for tip. Nevertheless, should a place of businesse take out more money with out your permission that is bad businesse! !!!!!!!!

Horrible - every time I go (I try to give them a chance) they are sitting around, playing cards, watching TV, gossiping about their clientele. I got a shellac the other day and it chipped THAT DAY. I went in the next day to get it fixed and I got a lot of eye rolls. The shellac (which usually lasts me 3 weeks) was off in 5 days. They use old polish. DONT GO!

I just got a mani/pedi at Helenas Nails and it was not the experience I thought it would be. It has been literally years since I have gone to any sort of salon for any reason, but this week I have someone coming into my job to asses whether or not Im ready to be put in a management position. I decided to get my nails done to look more professional when he shows up. I called to make an appointment for a full set of gells and a regular pedicure and specifically asked on the phone if they would have enough time to do that at five thirty and was told it was possible. When I arrived one of the ladies was insisting that I didnt get the gells but just the gell color. Then she made a comment about the color I picked for my toes and told me I should change it. After asking nicely several times to get what I was paying for done, I told her that I should probably just leave if it was going to be a problem.. At that point she tried to pull it off as a language barrier issue.. claiming that she didnt understand, after specifically saying that I should not get fake nails and that I should not get the color I picked out. I stayed because my feet were already in the water, being worked on and I needed them done this weekend. They decided to do both my hands and feet at the same time and while the lady who did my feet did a wonderful job, and took a lot of time to massage my feet and make me feel comfortable, the woman who did my nails (same woman who had told me not to get done what I made an appointment for) didnt put a drop of lotion on my hands. She rushed through the job, my nails were uneven and filed horribly. There were chunks of acrylic stuck underneath my nails. Overall it was not a very relaxing experience. Not to mention she charged me seventy dollars, and the job was half assed. So not only did I have to beg this lady to do what I wanted done, it was done badly and I over paid.I would not recommend this shop to anybody I know. Next time Im going to Veda at 1717 Champa, where they are trained to be professional and accommodating.
