Great spot for a cut

We have been here twice and will be back again next week. My daughter gets her head shaved here. They are super great and nice. The owner is very fun. They do a great job and the price is actually pretty cheap. Great service from everyone.

Easily one of the best haircut experiences Ive had in awhile. Theyve done a great job of creating a welcoming environment and get an A+ in the service category. While chatting them up, I even learned a lot about the history of the neighborhood and their vision for the future. The haircut and bead trim itself was on point. Danny Knight cut my hair. I went in with a free haircut coupon, not expecting much. The shop was clean and located in a cool spot. I asked for a skin fade, and the barber immediately got excited. I could tell he was passionate about his work. I think he spent over an hour perfecting the fade. While he cut with clippers, scissors, and razor we had great conversation. No awkward pauses, either. The cut came out great. I had never experienced a quality cut like that. It was a free haircut, but I felt obliged and gave him all the money in my wallet. Ill be back, for sure!

These guys are legit. Ive gotten cuts from both Jeremy and Gil, and both have been extremely well done. Their shop is friendly, clean, and features some very cool art. Highly recommended if youre looking for a super chill barber shop to frequent. Looking forward to being a regular at Techniques.

This barber shop mainly focuses on mens cuts and facial hair. My husband goes here on a regular basis and they do an excellent job! For a while I also have gone here but they currently do not have a stylist for women. Thankfully they have still kept me and are doing an excellent job, making my short hair still look feminine and listening to my request as I grow it out!

Jeremy was awesome! Got to know a bit about him and where he came from, how he started the business, etc. Usually going into that much conversation with a barber/stylist, s/he tends to lose focus on the task at hand. May skip over directions you gave. But left with a sweet cut and a great interaction with ownership. Sure, there may be cheaper options at a chain spot, but never got the same attention as I did at Techniques. Toss in a straight edge shave and a hot towel, worth every penny. Great experience!

I recently received a flyer in the mail for Techniques and decided to give it a try and Im glad I did. Jeremy and his staff are very personable and attentive. In the past Ive gone to a great or super chain for my hair cuts, but after today I will definitely be returning to Techniques. Im very pleased with my hair cut and would highly recommend.

I was walking past aimlessly waiting for my car to get repaired down at Garys and hesitated when I walked by. I had previously paid a lot at another establishment to get the oh so trendy bayalage that only fried my hair to such a point I had to chop most it off haphazardly and desperately needed a real cut but didnt really know what to do with it. I walked a bit further then decided what the heck, I needed a real cut I would just go in. I turned around and so glad I did. I was greeted by Andy the owner and she was fantastic. I didnt know what I wanted but needed help with my fried chopped up hair. She was super. She asked me a lot of questions on what I liked and didnt, what I would be okay with, etc. We deep conditioned my hair and she gave me a style I would have never come up with myself. I honestly throught I was going to hate it and regretted deeply saying I was cool with whatever. Me with even shorter hair? I knew it had to be done but no no no I still didnt really want to. Oh my god, I walked out of there fabulous! I have zero regrets and finally found someone I could really trust with my hair. Yeah, I fried my hair, its shorter but it cut in a way that complements my wavy hair and I dont have a weird fried mushroom bob anymore. She made what I thought was just unsalvageable better. My husband was shocked when I came home and thought it was the best cut and style he had ever seen. She was ready to help me as a walk in color and all, but I didnt have the time that day nor set on what I should do, but Im already trying to decide what color I should do next so I can make a real appointment. I found my hair place!
