Great place for a cut!! Jammy took me in as a walk-in and she did a GREAT JOB!! SHE SURE FIXED THIS IDENTITY CRISIS I HAD ON MY HEAD!! The staff overall, was amazing from walking in to walking out!! Love this place! I got my hair dyed pink here and was treated so well during the whole process, and they gave my little man an amazing haircut even while he was a bit wiggly, and on top of that my daughter loves her shorter bangs that they cut. Thank you all so much!

(I have changed my first review after being reached out by the owner) I did not get paired with a queer stylist or one who was knowledgeable in giving non-conforming cuts. In Oct 2020, I came here to get my hair colored. I gave a reference and ended up having spots near my face where bleach did not dye my hair and the green color was not saturated at all ($246 +tip) Someone else had gotten a similar color earlier that month and their hair came out nice. I came back in Feb 2020 to shape my hair after I shaved the bottom half and also wanted a heart design cut ($65 +tip) The heart cut was uneven and had a thick border. I had the same stylist both times. She was cool, but I would not come back.

Mia was great! My hair is not easy to cut (my hair broke a pair of professional-grade clippers when I was younger), but Mia was able to deliver a solid haircut and did so in a timely fashion. Amazing feel of a ‘neighborhood salon’ with more than qualified stylists for myself and my 10 y/o daughter! Very pleased with my experience! I LOVED my hair and so did my daughter (which is much more of a difficult feat). By chance, my stylist happened to be the branch manager, and she was super accommodating to another stylist ‘floating’ from a different location limited by the COVID restrictions. I felt so comfortable with the stylist’s skills even on the first meeting!!!

Judi’s always great and fun to chat with. Loved Roger as well when he was at the salon and his commitment to continuing his knowledge even with many years of hair experience to ensure I got the best color results. I also like that the salon does short or long hair services instead of women’s/men’s cut. As someone who basically had a men’s haircut for many years it was frustrating to pay the women’s price which is geared to longer hair. However, my hair is thick, takes more time, and several hours to color so my hair is high maintenance. But love that I can request a short hair cut, get my length trimmed and sides buzzed and pay for what it is, a short hair cut. And no, shoulder length is not short! I got lucky moving to a new state and was paired with Judi who understands and relates to my edgy, thick, black hair struggles and desires. She’s hilarious and all the staff at the salon are friendly and like to check out each other’s results. Wearing a mask while getting my sides buzzed was interesting but Judi managed to tackle it without cutting my mask off haha

Great salon! Scheduled a short haircut and love the results. The stylist, Mia, did and excellent job cutting my short hair and adapting the cut I wanted to my hair type. Plus the atmosphere is awesome and they have super cool murals. Love this place!

I went to Danika yesterday. I asked for a scene cut and got a mullet. I didn’t realize how bad it was until after I left because my hair is very wavy and crazy so it’s hard to see the full extent of the cut until I got home and styled it.Edit: manager called me, brought me back into the salon, tried her best to fix what she could and also gave me free product and a free hair cut for next time. I appreciate them trying to make it right.

Simply outstanding!! I can’t speak highly enough about my experience here. I’ve been looking for a place to get my haircut for sometime now since moving here. A lot of places are really hit or miss, and even then it wasn’t an ideal haircut. After looking around at reviews and locations one night to get my haircut at the last minute, I came across Bishops. I was able to call and schedule an appointment an hour before they closed with no problem at all. When I arrived a little late, they weren’t even worried at all. Roger, the gentleman who cut my hair, did the best haircut I think I’ve had! Seriously fantastic job! Thank you so much for all the recommendations to do around Denver too! One thing I genuinely enjoy about a haircut, is conversing with the stylist. It makes for a better experience and with their top notch customer service and very friendly staff, you’ll be leaving a very happy customer! 11/10 would recommend Bishops, specifically this location, and ask for Roger!

Super impressed with the service I got at Bishops hair salon! Judi spent the time to listen to what I wanted and walked me through different options and helped me pick the best one for my hair. She also made me feel super comfortable as I was nervous about cutting my long hair but she cut little by little making sure not to cut too much without my permission. Not to mention she was just generally an awesome chick to talk to which made the long appointment go by so much faster. (I should also mention that she also managed to achieve the impossible and got my hair to curl... AND STAY CURLED) I will def be going back to see her! After reading reviews here and on Nextdoor I decided to give Roger a try. I was desperate for a cut, and he happened to have an appointment Saturday morning and I jumped at it. Im so glad I did. I dont know why its so hard to get a great cut at a reasonable price, but I am always disappointed after I get my hair cut. Not this time! Roger was amazing and gave me exactly what I wanted. He even anticipated what I wanted. The cut lays perfectly even when I air dry. I am a huge fan.Fast forward to Sunday night when my 5-year-old daughter decided to cut her own hair. Oh boy. I felt confident that Roger could make it less awful. Not only is it not awful, its actually super cute. Hes a wizard with scissors and he was so amazingly great with my daughter. He was patient and friendly and made her feel so comfortable. She was ecstatic about her new cut.Thank you, Roger! Youll be seeing more of us!

Went in for my first ever hair bleaching. I got graced with a barber with 30 + years of experience. He walked me through every possible option and what would fit my hair type for the best result. After it all he gave me super detailed care advice I dont think I would of gotten elsewhere. Also they do military discount! Good in my book

I was in desperate need of a haircut and booked the first available stylist. And I sure lucked out, because Roger was simply amazing!!! I wanted to donate my hair, and Roger took the time and effort to tie my hair in multiple small sections to ensure that the hair could be donated properly and kept at the length that I wanted. I thought he did such a great job that I came back 3 days later for a balayage. Roger’s technique was on point, it looks so natural and really blends in nicely. I wear my hair straight about 50% of the time, so Roger listened and took that to heart to make sure it looked perfectly blended when straight. I have dark Asian hair and he did a great job with the color/toner. No brass! Just a great color. Highly recommend him and Bishops!

First cut since COVID Quarantine, and i went wild. Got my hair cleaned up and dyed blue. Asked for whoever was available, and got Danika. SHE ROCKS! did the dopest blue fade and an amazing cut. this is the first time ive enjoyed getting a haircut. The rest of the staff was incredibly fun and friendly as well. This place is out of my way, but I will be going back and to Danika. Definitely suggest this place.

I had an appointment at 1:30 pm and checked in on 1:25pm, I waited until 1:40pm but I was ignored. But two other people whom came later( around 1:40pm) than me were taken cared of. Then I left. Not professional.

I went to Bishops to get a cut & color on my ombre. I was originally unsatisfied with the way it all looked, when I reached out to them they offered to fix it right away. The color needed some blending and my haircut needed some re-shaping. Rachel & Jessie both happily fixed it for me and I am so much happier with it. My hair feels light & airy again. Made an appointment same day online around 11:30 am for a short cut. I dont have a usual person I go to at Bishops, this time I was set up with Kelsey Grzybowski. I was brought back quickly after checking in with the friendly staff at the desk. Of course I had to wear a mask but it was not inconvenient to wear just had to hold it when she cut around the ears. Kelsey was great and offered suggestions to improve my haircut (texture). She also did a straight shave on my neck line and a short massage. overall I had a great experience at Bishops and have really enjoyed them since they came into the Lowry neighborhood. I will be going back and hopefully able to get Kelsey again.

I could just walk easy which made it easy for me to fit into my day. was greeted warmly, had an easy check in system also. stylist did a good job, but i am new to this kind of thing (always had mostly long hair in the past, and always colored my own hair) so it surprised me that i was given a range for a price and, of course, as i checked out was charged the higher amount of the price. for short hair i really didnt expect it to be the higher amount PLUS it was higher than was posted on their web page. that part was frustrating.
