Been taking my kids here for the past few years. Though it’s geared for adults and usually males, it’s fine for kids if you can pass the alternative ways in style and decor. It’s a convenient downtown location.

Took myself and my daughters to get haircuts and to get our hair styled, Destiny and Brianna are amazing stylists and the guy in the front desk so sweet and attended us ASAP. Overall this place is amazing

I had a really good experience here. The entire staff was very friendly. Brianna cut my hair; she was thorough and did a great job - she checked in to make sure I liked it and had great suggestions. I trusted her and I will definitely book another appointment. They were also very COVID-conscientious and I felt safe.

I’ve only been to this location once before and it was a good cut. Today, though, I called in and made an appointment. I called in to let them know i was running a few minutes late and they said it was ok. Then when I got there, I was waiting for a while. After waiting 20 minutes, I asked what was going on. They said because i was more than 5 minutes late, the stylist went on to her next client.Why would you tell me it’s fine that I was running late over phone when i called? And why didn’t you say “if you’re more than 5 minutes late we move on to the next client” over the phone originally? Pretty misleading, upsetting, and a waste of people’s time, unfortunately.

The manager cut my hair AMAZINGLY! 360 Waves and showed her coworker as well so that either can cut me when I return. A+++++ service wouldnt change a thing. Its hard to find a proper line up and mine was perfected! I wish i remembered her name but i will be back the same date every month minimum.

I hate to do this because i’ve heard amazing things about this place but today I received the worst haircut EVER. I asked for a medium to low fade and a number 4 on top and the gentleman named Dennis literally was fading the top of my head.”SEE ATTACHED PHOTOS” Plus the fade was not even close to even on each side? Not only that but I requested a number 4 on top and I have no hair left;( Was it the wrong guard? I have no clue but I felt like I should be headed to the army with this haircut because it’s short high uneven and just awful. The only reasonI gave a second star is because the customer service and atmosphere was great plus it’s my fault for trying something new but other than that the haircut is garbage and I can’t wait for my hair to grow back.

I spent years trying to find the perfect barber who can cut my hair exactly the way it should be and I want. Now most of the men in my family on my father’s side have the same problem because of the type of hair coming from a family mix with several ethnicities in our blood. It’s been almost 18 years since I came across someone who knew just by looking at me what type of haircut I get and how to do it within a matter of minutes the first time meeting me. I was nervous at first because the barber was singing and dancing to music in the back while cutting my hair, but shocked me that she still did a great job. That tells me she’s very professional and knows how to do the job perfect. I have been going to Floyd’s for almost a year now and love it. I always get so excited when my haircut is finished and I get to look at it that I tip big on purpose. I would recommend this barbershop to anybody that is looking for a barbershop.

I swear to God I went to this place and had the best hair stylist she greeted me with a beautiful smile she walked me back and politely sat me . down she was very etiquette and professional.She really deserves a big tip.I could have gave her a big enough tip without being ridiculous so I gave her a $10 tip on a $25 haircut.Too bad she said she was leaving town. going back to where she came from.I look forward to coming back to this place they have a great crew for crew cuts.

ZERO STARS.I have been to this location 6 times and had issues with 5 of those visits. I will never spend my money here again. I put up with the issues because I wanted to support a stylist from my hometown who works there, but that is not enough to justify the amount of time I have wasted for lackluster customer service. I have never before been so consistently disappointed with a business. Heres what happened in those 5 unsatisfactory visits:1. A stylist decided to take a walk-in customer before my RESERVED appointment and forced me to wait 30 minutes longer.2. A different stylist was very unfriendly and spent a grand total of 15 minutes on my haircut.3. A stylist called out right when I arrived and I had to come back 2 hours later to see somebody else who, though nice, did not do the best job.4. A stylist made me wait 35 minutes longer for my RESERVED appointment and I was not given any kind of explanation or compensation for the delay.5. I again had a RESERVED appointment but upon arrival I was told they accidentally double booked themselves and asked me to come back an hour later.tl;dr: I cannot recommend enough that you get your haircut elsewhere. The only positive thing I can say is that it seems clean enough, which should be a given for any reputable barbershop.

I’ve been working on growing my hair out for about 2 years now but every once in awhile I’ll go get a trim to help look a little more presentable. I went in today and was helped by Briana (sp) and she was an absolute pleasure! It was fast, convenient, amazingly well priced and she did a FANTASTIC job. She made me feel super welcome and was great to talk to. Thanks to everyone here who made it so easy on me.

I wandered by this Floyds location during a day of errands. Since I had some extra time I figured I would stop in and get a quick haircut. I was immediately struck by the style of the business, which was bustling but well-organized. I also really appreciated the music, as you cant go wrong with The Ramones. The young woman that cut my hair was courteous and very professional, she listened to what I liked in a haircut and pretty much nailed it. They also do hot towels and a straight razor shave which are usually the sorts of features you have to ask for. Ill definitely go back to them in the future.

Great people and place for a haircut. The warm shaving cream and shaving the back of your neck. Really nice that you can schedule an appointment and get right in for a haircut. Highly recommend

In Denver for a weekend trip. I called and was able to get an appointment for half an hour later. Was in chair almost immediately. Got a fantastic haircut and a great shave. Staff was fantastic and very polite. Will be looking for one of your locations in my hometown. Thank you.

I took an hour lunch today and wasn’t going to eat. My girl was 15 minutes late. I get sometimes your cut goes over, but if you have appointments it’s for a reason. No I’m hangry and my hair isn’t cut. Thank you for being punctual. The front desk girl at least offered a 50% coupon, but of course couldn’t find one. Guess I stick with my place that’s kind of out of my way. Maybe sometimes a drive is better than time. Never going back to any Floyd’s. Thank you for wasting my time.

I went in to have my hair trimmed. It was washed, trimmed (maybe 1/2 inch) and blown dry with fingers moving my hair around until it was dry. At the desk that will be $45 dollars. Yes $45 dollars. Ouch, I usually tip over 20% always, not today maybe $4. At least a round brush could have been used to put a little style into my hair for that price. Ive been going to Floyds for years. The man who told the front desk gal $45. really should have known better. He got money for the salon but took money out of the stylists hand.

Went to get a haircut today at Floyds, and had a fantastic experience. It had been a while since I had a haircut so I came in looking very scruffy. I didnt really know what I wanted to do, so my barber, Cooper, helped me find a style that I liked. Once she has a good idea of what I wanted she handled it all from there and completely transformed my look. Ive never walked out of a haircut feeling this confident. I have been visiting several barbershops over the course of the last six months. I admit, it is difficult to find just the right barber (so... I am a picky one). Anyway, I needed a haircut and saw Floyds off of the 16th street mall. I had never visited one before and thought I would give it a shot. I work just down the street and had seen this location several times before.It is a pretty lively kind of place, much louder than I appreciate. Regardless I put my name on the list and waited. There was definitely a wait, the place was packed. I felt comfortable with that many people waiting, must mean it is worth the wait, right?Let me tell you... it is! I was greeted by Dana who then took me and more consulted with me about what kind of cut I was looking for. Not only was she fast, but I my hair looked fantastic. Six months it took me to find my new barber and I think my persistence paid off. I will definitely be coming back and requesting Dana next time!I have already recommended my good friend to go here as he was having the same issue (we used to have the same barber who moved several months ago).

I have never gotten a bad haircut here, so you really can’t go wrong with any of the barbers/stylists. That being said, Farryn is especially friendly, professional, attentive, and gives an all around killer haircut. Thanks for everything guys!

Had an issue today, walked in and got sat almost immediately which was nice. Told the stylist I was flying out to a wedding and needed a trim and a shave. She did really quick work. Beard shave was really quick and uneven. My sideburns were completely uneven, off by at least a half inch. She seemed annoyed by my very presence.. was not a great experience. They had her tucked in the back corner.. maybe this is why.

Did a walk in for my son here at the 16th location and the shop was clean and the wait time to get serviced was quick, however if your looking for a good cut for the bang of your buck, Go somewhere else, the lady who cut my sons hair did not do a proper fade it was all the same length in the back, and the co-works at the next station an African American lady there had a bad attitude written all over her face she even rolled her eyes when me and the other lady were talking about taking more hair off the top. I will never be back to that location I even went in with a friend who was going to get serviced and due to that experience they witness they chose not too.

Love coming to Floyds. Stephanie just moved to this location from Colfax and shes been my go to person for haircuts since Ive moved to Denver. Shes the best, and I highly suggest you schedule calls to see her. Shes a pro. Super easy going, very chill, and most importantly great with haircuts. Stick with Stephanie if you want to live.

We visited Colorado a few days ago for a wedding, and came here so my husband could get a fresh cut. And OMG Cooper did an amazing job. Always weary of a walk in haircut not knowing what to expect with trusting someone new with your hair. Got matched up with Cooper and had a great experience. Suuuuper chill person with knowledge in natural and organic products. Did great straight razor work, over all very satisfied with my haircut/beard trim and plan to return!

Needed a root touch up and saw Sarah. She did a great job with matching my current color and was very efficient! Floyd’s is much more affordable then my current hairdresser and I will continue to see her for my color needs. Highly recommend her!

I drive a tour bus for a band and we were doing a show at the Pepsi Center. This was the first time I had ever been to Floyds and my experience was nothing short of exceptional. Sarah gave me one of the best cuts and beard trims I’ve ever received. I’ve visited a lot of barbershops across the country and she by far gave me the best service I’ve ever had. When you go, ask for Sarah! You definitely will not be disappointed.

Floyds is a solid place to get a haircut in the city without breaking the bank. I usually walk out spending less than $30, tip included (if they dont convince me to buy any product). Would give it 5 stars, but sometimes consistency is lacking a bit unless you nail down a stylist and make appointments with that specific person.

Vennie Vennie Vennie!!!!....Ive been getting straight razor fades now for over 15 years and nobody does them better than her. Shes slow, methodical, and actually takes the time to prep the skin for such a close shave. A true talent who takes pride in her work and is crazy proficient with a blade. ABSOLUTELY UNTOUCHABLE!

My barber was nice but she gave me a pretty bad haircut. I asked for a standard fade on the sides and longer hair on top. She didnt know how to do a fade and only cut one side of the top and left the other side much longer. It was pretty clear she didnt know what she was doing.

While visiting Denver, I decided I wanted a haircut and at the suggestion from a local went to Floyd’s. I didn’t even make a reservation and was able to get a stylist within 15 minutes after walking in. I hate being that guy but I just showed a picture of how I wanted my hair to her and she nailed it! I love grunge and 90’s rock music so a major bonus was the music they were playing and all the pictures and posters they had on the walls. Part of the haircut included a massage, which was much needed after walking around all day.

When i went to get my haircut today i dont really remember the name of the lady that cut my hair but she was being aggressive instead of wetting my hair so it would be easier to comb she started pulling my hair when it was tangled

I like going to the shop on 16th Street n Champa. The staff is always kind, theres never a long wait, and the people Ive had cut my hair have all done a good job. The 4 stars is because I feel theyre over priced.

I’ve been coming here for years now and have had haircuts from probably all of their stylists at this point. Consistently great haircuts. Call ahead to get on the list and avoid the wait.

11:40am on Friday 11-1-19 came in with a buddy, he was trying to be nice but the lady at the desk was being rude ( white, short dark hair, glasses, gauge style ear piercing and a tat of thinning scissors on her right wrist) he asked for a quick hair cut and she said thats the most annoying thing when people ask for a quick haircut pretty lame customer service. Its down town denver people dont have an hour to burn to get a hair cut. I guess it didnt fit her schedual even though hes a paying customer. Wont be back.

Been to a few Floyds branches in Denver, and this is my favorite. I never have to wait long (30 mins max), the stylists are all knowledgeable and easy to work with, and the rates are affordable. Ive been going to the same spot for almost two years now!

Worst place to do a haircut and beard trim. He just trimmed my beard for 10 seconds(it was already trimmed 4 days ago) and charged 10 bucks. Didnt shape moustache and beard. 39 dollars for this bad service.

Its a hit or miss with this place. First time I went I had great service and an amazing haircut. Second time I waited 40 minutes longer than they told me and hair cut was OK. Last time I went I was suppose to be next but waited till 4 other people went before me, barber cutting my hair kept on hitting me in the face with the comb when he placed between his fingers, and did a horrible job on my hair. Did not even out my cowlicks and I had the same length all around but wanted a fade
