Ive lived in Denver for 7+ years and this is the only place I will go. Ive probably gotten a cut from everyone that works there including the owner and it comes out perfect every time. Great turn around time for walk ins as well. 10/10 would recommend. Keep up the great work.

I go here to get the side of my head shaved and and them to leave the length alone. Most stylists outside of an expensive specialty shop will not know how to work with curly hair. Honestly I wish that curly hair was a standard part of beauty school because I think everyone should know how to work with it, but it is what it is, and thats no fault of this shop specifically.Pricing for the services seems fair, and the people are pleasant. Ive sometimes made small talk and Ive sometimes told the person Im actually pretty tired today, do you mind if I just sit down and kind of zone out? And theyre equally nice about it either way, love that theres no pressure to keep up conversation if I dont have that energy.They seem to strive to make the customers happy and will take care to come to a good resolution for you instead of just doing the cheapest and most convenient thing for them at your expense.Its definitely better to schedule your appointment online ahead of time rather than walk in to avoid a wait.

Just got haircut done by the only male working on this Tuesday evening7/20/2021. He never gave his name. Asked for a simple 1 on side and back and scissor top. He shaved my sideburns to a zero and gave me a fade. The top is completely uneven. Also asked for a basic beard trim and he barely did anything . I should have spoken up but he seemed to be in a mood. 50 dollars and I have to go somewhere else to to fix it. Have always received great haircuts here in the past.

I have been going here for a little over a year and no matter who I get, it is always a good cut. I typically go during the workday and they are always very quick and get me in an out. Today I showed up 30 minutes late to my appointment and they got me in in less than 5 minutes.

Yoo Annie just hooked me up with best haircut ever. She was able to fix everything that was messed up from my last haircut. All the girls here were super nice. This is the place to go.

It is important I look sharp for client meetings. I left the shop feeling great. I will be returning for my next haircut. Sadly, after 10 years of getting my haircut here, this was the first time, I was very disappointed. My frustration was all about communication. My reg barber was out of town so I still decided to just do a walk in. 7 ladies were on duty that day and even though my name was the only one on the list it took an hour before I was served. 4 of seven had clients before and after I got there. Time was not the problem, the fact that knowone said anything to me or gave me eye contact that they apologize for the wait was disappointing. Siemon is a great guy and he will still have my business, however, service and communication is still number one in the people business.

Waited for an hour and a half on the walk-in board. When I asked when I could be helped they let me know they had no guarantee they could help me but could try to get me in eventually in the next 2 hours. Don’t offer walk in service if you don’t intend on helping them.

Last night I made my second visit to Semion. The cut was good, the staff was helpful and cared about following Covid protocols. Making a reservation was easy. I will happily return.

GREAT and Affordable. I was walking around the mall and the owner literally saw I had a bad fade from my previous haircut. It was very nice place and I am very satisfied with the haircut. Clean and professional and the even did the extra hairline shaving and everything. They also use good hair products. The price is very affordable too. It’s my favorite barbershop now.

I love getting my haircut here. Jolissa is extremely personable and remembers what I like every time I come in for an appointment. The history behind Semions is very cool and well worth the read. If you are looking to break the mold of going to a cheap haircut place, I recommend Semions.

This place is probably great for white people. However, they should have turned us away if they didnt have anyone capable of cutting Black hair at the Lincoln location. I was concerned when I saw the stylists technique and even more concerned when I saw her sawing the clippers back and forth. We asked for the top to be evened out, but keep the length and she cut several inches of growth off the top.Her coworker tried to salvage her work, but the lines are uneven, the gradient is jagged, and painful razor burn appeared across the whole back of head and neck. The owner was gracious and offered a fix or refund (hence, the second star). We took the refund and bought a hat. We wont be back.

Came because of the good reviews but I felt unwelcome the moment I stepped in. I spent 30 minutes waiting only to be told by the gal doing sidework that it would be another 15 minutes. Obviously she didnt want to help me, and was probably glad I walked out.

Hannah is an absolute master of her craft when it comes to cutting hair & trimming beards . Her excellent dexterity & incredible attention to detail made me go from looking damn near ragged to looking dapper & ultra presentable . If you want someone who will take skilled & meticulous care of your hair, Hannah is 100% the best person in Denver for that . Thank you so much Hanna !!

Very disappointed with the haircut, showed a picture and explained how I wanted to keep some length, got a super short cut with a patch of hair on top. I would have expected more for what was represented and charged. Also important to note, made an appointment for 2pm didn’t get sat until almost 2:30.Update- Just got off the phone with Semion. I am truly impressed with his commitment to customer service. Not only did he offer to refund money but wanted to make it right however possible. It’s hard to find this level of commitment to resolution that has sincerity. I would give them another opportunity in the future. Everybody makes mistakes not everyone works hard to restore the relationship, I’m impressed with this man!

(Updated) After leaving my initial review the owner contacted and was very nice and professional. It was pretty clear he really loves his business. Although my first experience was not great I could tell that the place had a good environment and will be coming back.Read a lot of good reviews about this place so I made an appointment online. My stylist sat me down and seemed to be in a rush. She was pretty rough on my head, scratching me with the comb quite a bit and several parts were unevenly cut.

I was in town today and booked an online appointment. I arrived early and they got started right away. I got my hair cut by Jolissa and she did a fantastic job. She was also very polite and friendly. Will definitely come in again!

I had a haircut yesterday with Vivian and did not like the experience at all. She rushed to finish very quickly without being careful whatsoever and cut my top hair way too short although I clearly explained to her at the beginning that I like having longer hair on top so that I style it. This is not the first time a hairdresser cut my hair against my instructions. Wont be returning to Semion.

I arrived 15 minutes early for my appointment and was taken immediately after after a friendly greeting from the two barbers closest to the door. This was my first cut in Denver witch I had been putting off for over a year because of my hit or miss experiences with other shops. Vikki was AMAZING!!! Super friendly, professional and attentive to detail, she was very vocal and explained what she was doing through out the cut which was very reassuring and put me at ease. As a result, the cut was exceptional. Long story short, I wont be searching any further! The other stylists were doing similar cuts and seemed just as professional, friendly and capable. Not to mention the shop is super clean and inviting. Overall one of, if not the best experiences ive had at a barbershop.

I have been getting my hair cut by Vita for 10+ years. She has to be the best in Colorado. I consistently received terrific comments. She listens, takes pride in her work, makes great recommendations, and is very professional. Bottom line, she gives AWESOME haircuts and is an AWESOME person who is fun to talk to. Lastly I appreciate the fact that she dresses very creatively. Last thing I want is to get a haircut from someone who looks like they work in my bank. Whoever hires for Simeon made a great decision to bring her over. USE HER- YOU WILL SEE.

Excellent service! I keep my hair quite short, clippers on the sides and back. A lot of barber shops cant really do a good clipper cut, and when it is that short, errors are VERY obvious. Semion does an excellent job, Ill be coming here for my cuts from now on.Additionally, they are going the extra mile for COVID. Their service is safe, masks are used, temperature taken, all common-sense precautions done well. Highly recommend during COVID and when the world finally comes back.

I’ve been going to Semion on Lincoln for about 3 years now. I’ve seen Verre every time and she’s great, I’ve literally never had a problem with any cut she’s done. The price is great, the place is super clean, appropriate COVID precautions, they’re all really nice, and the temperature is always great (being too hot or cold in a barber shop always ruins it for me 🤷🏼‍♂️).

I’ve been trying to be safe with the corona virus and limiting my trips to public places. Eventually my hair was too long to manage. I went to Semion’s and their safety procedures were top notch. Proper spacing, masks, and temp testing. I’ve gone to Semion for a few years and the haircuts were top notch. Their precautions made me customer for life.

Very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Modernised shop with that old barber shop feel. Was tired of the usual dice roll of going to a well known in and out haircut shop, decided to try something a bit more traditional and dependable. Was happy with my decision. A bit more expensive but as with anything in this world, you get what you pay for. Will go there again.

Went in for a haircut July 10th with Vivian.First and foremost - they disinfected everything constantly while there and they took all necessary precautions for COVID.I went in with a rough idea of what I wanted. Vivian was extremely helpful and helped me understand what I was looking for. They are taking the virus and regulations seriously here. Every chair is thoroughly disinfected between appointments; they are practicing social distancing, using every other hair station (+12 between stations); and everyone is wearing a mask. Despite all of the obstacles, they continue to provide excellent haircuts with a positive attitude.
