Came from out of town and needed a haircut. So glad I found Frank’s and walked in to get one the best experiences. Levi did a fantastic job on a high skin fade and really went above and beyond pampering me. Didn’t check the price beforehand and figured I’d spend a ton, then was shocked at the more than reasonable price after. Highly recommend!

It was a great haircut that included a shampooing with head massage and they even trimmed my eyebrows a little bit which Ive never had before. The place itself is nice. It feels classy. Makes you feel like youre getting your moneys worth as it can be a bit pricey depending on what youre after.My haircut was good but I feel like they made a mistake on the back of my head (see photo) even though I was told it was purposefully done. Nothing major. Just looks a bit odd.Would be nice if the hairdresser was up for more of a chat which is what I would usually expect. Not entirely sold on whether or not Id be back.

My husband and I have been going to Frank’s for years and have been loyal clients. Due to my stylist being booked up, they asked me to begin booking my appointments a month out, in person after each service. I am currently sick and as a result missed my appointment today. Without receiving a call or text, Frank’s took it upon themselves to charge my card 61 dollars, which is 21 dollars more than my haircut would’ve cost. When I called to figure it out and let them know I’m not feeling well, I was met with anger and hostility from the OWNER telling me that “I can dispute the charge all I want, she will win no matter what.” She also told me that she’s “not my mother” and “not responsible for me making my appointments” and also that “she hopes I have the time to deal with a dispute with my bank.” After being rude to me on the phone for about 10 minutes, she uninvited me as a client and hung up on me. I feel like I was stolen from as I never signed up for or agreed to being charged upon a no-show. They claim I did, yet they cannot provide proof. Needless to say, I will be taking it up with my bank and will not be returning to Frank’s. Very sad how I was treated today. Mind you, I tip about 40 percent each time I go in and have never missed an appointment in the past. Very disappointing how desperate for money they seem and how they treat clients who have been nothing but loyal to them. Very poorly ran business. I recommend going to any of the other 100+ salons in the city before Frank’s.

Gwen is excellent. She has given me the best haircuts of my life. Plus note: the staff let me use their tweezers to get my card out of a jammed parking meter and I thoroughly appreciated it. This place is priced but well worth it

Levi did another excellent job. I would highly recommend. Get a nice clean cut, hot (or chilled) towel, cold beverage and sit back and relax. He also did an amazing job on my five year son’s hair (past his shoulders).

Great razor bald head shave! I was a walk-in and initially had sticker shock, but the entire experience was absolutely worth every penny spent plus tip! Andrew was my barber. Very skilled with a razor and funny as well!

Hands down Levi is the barber you must ask for. I have tried Taylor and Gwen in the past but Levi has shown the mastery I was looking for. Levi at Frank’s is the best if you want a nice fade. Following him wherever he goes.Give him a raise he deserves it.

This place is great! I place my trust in Andrew every 3 weeks to keep me looking dashing, ruggedly handsome, and bring some sophistication to this charming rogue. Not sure if anyone but me would describe me as such, but Andrew always makes sure I keep thinking so!You can buy 6 packs of local brews for the time being, but some day when we get back to regular life beer is available for customers. The hot towel and shampoo that comes with every cut melts away the stress of life better than any beer could anyways.Ive seen the quality of beard trims and coloring, and despite having never used these services, I have been thoroughly impressed with the work I have seen. Ive seen men walk in looking like the time traveled from the first Woodstock straight to Franks shop and leave looking like a cover shot for GQ.A public parking lot directly across the street means parking is as easy as it is cheap. Tons of options to get some food and a drink as you wait, or even better, to show off your fresh cut and make the ladies or lads swoon.I cant recommend this place highly enough. They are 100% professionals, artisans, great friendly attitude and service, nobody is pushing you to buy products you dont need, scheduling is always easy, the shop is pristine and welcoming. I also appreciate that they have an expectation that you treat your appointment like any adult should. They will always give you 100% without question, all you need to do is show up. If you arent going to show up you need to cancel or you will be charged. I am a fan of this policy. It tells me they value their time and their work, and that you should too. This isnt Sport Clips, these stylists are ARTISTS, and deserve to be respected as such.If you want a quick trim of the hair and beard for a date or meeting, they got you. If you want a full make over, as long as it involves hair, youll find no better place in Denver metro. If you want to be treat your barber poorly, waste their time, or be rude, look elsewhere because their customers love the place as much as the staff.And if all that wasnt enough, they are dog friendly! Cant get any better than this!

Overpriced Great Clips. Used to visit Rosa for clean fades when I was in town. Now this place has lost all the talent and is staffed with amateurs that are charging outrageous $45 just for a haircut. Not coming back and not recommending anyone else.

Been going to this salon for 2+ years, and all the stylists have been great. Will be better once the lounge is reopened and you can get a beer while you wait, though I dont fault them for that as its not their fault we are in the middle of a pandemic. The extra services like trimming your eyebrows are a big plus for us older guys like myself.

Katrina was great. I told her what I was looking for and what Im attempting to do with my hair and she executed. It didnt look much different honestly, but that is what I wanted.Never had that experience of a stylist/barber granting my request of exactly what I want.Next haircut will be scheduled with her and I look forward to the new look she helps me achieve.

This is a really nice barber shop. It was my first time in this shop after following my amazing barber Espy (look her up if you need a nice, clean cut) after she moved to greener pastures from Roosters. This place feels more relaxed and inviting vs. the turn n burn services at Roosters. In compliance with Covid, they are taking all measures to insure the safety and comfort of all patrons visiting theyre shop.

Pretty good, but a little pricey. Good haircut, gave me a shampoo, straight razor for the back of the neck, threw some product in there at the end, good all around, but about $10 more than Im used to paying for the exact same service (actually, the place I used to go to even did a hot towel on the face as well, so they did more for less money). I tend to go a while in between haircuts, so its not a huge deal for it to be a bit more expensive for the times I do go, but its enough to drop a star. I had been thinking about getting a beard trim too until I saw that it would be almost $100 for both after a tip. So it was a good haircut, just go in knowing that itll cost you.UPDATE: Dropping one more star because apparently they think its a good idea to put your phone number, which you give when making an appointment, on a list to receive marketing texts without asking.RESPONSE TO OWNERS RESPONSE: I dont know why your shop being independent would make you abuse my private data. If Im paying someone for a service, and they require my phone number to sign up for that service, I expect them to only use my number in relation to that specific service. I dont care if youre Walmart or a one-person business; in a world where everyone gets multiple robocalls a week, signing a customer up for a list without consent isnt OK. Why would you need to market to me anyway? I was already a customer. Even with the haircut being a bit more expensive than I like, I almost certainly would have been back for my next haircut because it was still a good haircut, youre near where I live and its slightly inconvenient to pick a new barbershop. I even said in my original review that since I tend to go longer between haircuts, Im OK with the slight extra expense. But why would I patronize a business that feels that since theyre independent, that gives them carte blanche to do whatever they want with my private information?

I brought my groomsmen here last minute for my wedding last Friday. Andrew hooked it up! He was meticulous, knowledgeable, and fun as hell to talk to. Dudes listen, get man-pampered. Get the scalp massage. Get a straight razor line up or shave. Andrew keeps it feeling like a true man spa with all the hot towels in the world. 10/10 would recommend and will be back.

Every few months I try to get to a salon for a manicure/pedicure and had yet to find somewhere in Denver I liked. Until today. The atmosphere at Franks is incredible, from the sweet pup running up to the door to greet me, to the alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverage options, and the overall vibe. I had Capri for my treatment and she was absolutely spectacular. We had a great conversation for the full hour or so I was there, she did her job spectacularly and professionally letting me know if things may hurt (never did) or tickle (yeah, a couple times lol), and was legitimately the best person Ive ever had for this kind of treatment. The prices may seem a bit high, but rest assured the quality of care and treatment you get is well worthwhile. If youre a dude whos tired of going to salons the better serve a different clientele, I HIGHLY recommend checking this place out, and asking for Capri. You wont regret it.

I‘ve been going to Franks since they first showed up in the Ballpark Neighborhood. Super friendly and easily the best place to get yourself looking right. I’ll have to snag myself a six pack and pb/j sandwich Togo next time.

I have come here for 3 haircuts by 3 different stylists. The last two have been straight up bad. Weird unfinished edges, obvious asymmetries, or disregard for reference photos/requests. In addition, none of the staff members acknowledged or respected the notes I made in the online scheduling service.I specified that my preferred pronouns are they/them and also selected the non-binary option in the gender prompt, but still everybody greeted me with “Hey, man” At $45+tip, it would’ve been nice if even one person had taken the opportunity to just read the details on the reservation made hours in advance. Why even offer a non-binary option or a space for personal requests/notes if they’re never going to be read?Never coming back here because there are plenty of other options in Denver, and I’ve had more consistent, respectful, (and cheaper) experiences at BC Co and even Floyd’s Barber Shop.

This is the only place Ill go in Denver to get a haircut. The price might seem a bit high for a regular mens haircut, but youre paying for quality, ambiance, excellent service, a drink (beer/coffee/water), and a wash/scalp massage. Recommend Gwen if she is available!

Literally just got my haircut there for the first time and everything from the moment I walked in was stunning. The Salon itself looks amazing, and it is super clean. My stylist Jessica was phenomenal, she was really nice and honestly I felt so pampered. She also always asked if I was comfortable or okay with something she was about to do, like if I was alright with a hot towel over my face or that I wasnt allergic to coconut oil, which was super considerate and professional. I absolutely plan to go back!

Hands down, best haircut I have received. I have been looking around downtown Denver for a place that provides high quality and service. It has all the aspects a guy would want in a salon. Hair styles, wash, beard trim (although I cant grow a beard), massage, and several other services. Scheduling is easy and they send over reminder texts 24 hours in advance for your appointment in case you forget. I have already scheduled my next appointment with Toni and am extremely satisfied with my cut.

Excellent spot for a haircut. $40 includes a shampoo, brief neck and should rub and they even trimmed my bushy eyebrows last time I was in. I am a fan of Antonia, but there are plenty of awesome stylists to help you out. I cant recommend this place enough.

I got really annoyed with the poor attitudes of Floyd’s and I heard that it would be worth it to give Frank’s a try. They were booked and I thought maybe I’d have to reschedule, but then the owner herself stepped in and gave me the best haircut I’ve ever received. Highly recommend!! I’ve lived in a lot of cities and finding a good place for a solid hair cut at a reasonable price is never easy. This place is awesome all around, from the front desk receptionist, to the comfy Mancave area to chill and have a beer while you wait. My stylist Jackie H was awesome! Snuck me in and cleaned me up perfectly, I enjoyed the cut so much I already scheduled my clean up and next hair cut. Great spot! When you look at bad reviews remember, some people’s lives suck and leaving bad reviews makes them feel important for 5 minutes ;-)

I think the haircut I received was ok the first time. As I’ve been browsing the city I’ve learned that Franks is overpriced. Since then I’ve been to new shops and I’ve come to realize I can get the same service for a third of the price. Customer service seemed a bit slack and a beer just doesn’t justify spending 100$ on a beard trim and haircut that someone isn’t willing to give advise for future styles.

I put my hat back on as soon as I left... Not too friendly. Little to no conversation. Decor... Meh, they are trying but missing the mark. Walls are now a gray color. They are obviously encouraged to push products.

Great hair cut, I did the straight razor hair cut with Liarosa R. Had me looking clean for my daughters birthday party, thank you to the crew & Liarosa for the service I recommended this place but go & try them out you might just find your new favorite spot.

Liarosa and the rest of the staff always make for an enjoyable haircut and beard trim. Hot and cold towels plus scalp and neck massage and conditioning and oils in the process make for a relaxing experience that far exceeds the standard trip to the barbershop.

Hannah is your gal!I came in with only a little bit of money in my pocket and asked how much it would be to buzz my dreads off. $20 for a buzz and I told them I would think about it while I went outside to swap license plates. I came back and asked what it would be for a wash too after and they joked that they should be paying me to get rid of them! 😂We ended up settling on the price of $Free and they even included a wash, neck shave and a PBR!!
