I made the mistake of saying I was fine with the haircut I got because I really wasn’t. I showed the teacher a picture of how I wanted my hair and she said she couldn’t see what was going on with the hair in the picture. I should’ve just walked away as soon as she said that instead of letting them cut my hair. Anyways they cut my hair too short, way too short. I don’t know how it is that she got to the length that she did, even though I told her the shortest I wanted it. It’s also uneven. My sister in law came to this school and she even said the teacher should have been there to supervise so it wouldn’t get to how it did. The teacher said my hair is fine and it’ll grow back. That’s true but my hair is uneven. They also do take long I got there around the time they opened and I didnt leave until around noon. theyre students but Ive been here before and it wasnt like this experience. My apologies for not being honest from the beginning.

Great place for a haircut thats only $6. Its a learning barber shop so all haircuts are done by students, under supervision of their teachers. The haircuts may take a little longer than usual but worth it for $6. They do a good job

I cant praise this place enough! I found the salon from a recommendation and it was the best find ever. Students who truly love what they are doing, teachers carefully scrutinizing but allowing freedom to explore, the barbershop feel, the reception desk and the eager faces to guide you to your stylist. I dont have much hair but my stylist -who recently graduated- always does a fantastic job and interacts with me (and others) on a real level not just a client basis. Besides the comfortable low price for services the all around vibe of this place is more than enough reason to come not once but anytime you need a cut, color, facial, etc.

I made an appointment online for 7:30 although the hours say they dont open until 8 theyll get you in right at 7:30. I just got a trim but loved the experience and the cut. Keep in mind that these are students and things taken a little while longer, but I was in and out in an hour. Im definitely doing this again and recommending to others!!

They do a darn good job and its the best value for a haircut in the city, especially for downtown. They are always very nice and the teacher has been a real professional both times I was in. The students try to do a good job, seems like, and it is a great deal for fade haircut and beard trim for under $20 before tip.

I had Haircut and Facial services this morning and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. Unfortunately I am horrid with names but the guy who worked on me was fabulous and has great customer service skills. Knows how to flatter a gal (24 years old 🤣) Thank You again for having us in today.

I would like to give a huge high five to EG Spa. I took my 13 year old daughter in to get a flat iron style. She came straight in after wearing her hair in natural styles since age 7. Her hair is very thick but the students with the assistance of the instructor Stephanie did an awesome job in straightening it. It was also differed lengths due to some breakage while braided. Stephanie gave her a layered cut so the hair is blended nicely . Huge shout out to Stephanie, Jessica, Chloe and Indigo. You guys are fabulous and to Melissa for doing a nice gel manicure.

Tanner cut my hair the other day and was very polite, and knew what he was doing! I can see him excelling in the trade! All of the students seemed really into it, and I am more then willing to support a shop that is giving students real world experience!

I love this place.. WARNING: Do not go if you are on as time schedule. Aververage cut 1 he. My last one was 3 hours!!But it looks GREAT!

Good haircut from a student, the teacher is present and helps. Very cheap pricing. Offer all services. There are barbers too.

I understand theyre students, so I put aside an hour for a simple mens cut. Not enough. I had to leave before finished. When I came back at 3:35, ten minutes before closing they wouldnt finish the cut. They were all packed up and chatting. All it needed was to even out my sideburns, but they told me to come back. Needless to say, I wont be.
