My son recently moved in here after a horrible experience with a Greystar property. The difference is Night and Day. The staff here is responsive, the Property Manager answers emails and communicates efficiently and in a timely manner. The Maintenance staff did a great job getting the unit ready despite his short time frame to move. It is so nice to see him more relaxed and happy in his new home!
Like many of the recent reviews. I unfortunately have to agree that since the change in management things have changed for the worse. The property manager has been short me me anytime I’ve tried to voice a complaint and nothing was resolved. Trash is a problem as of late which was not in the past year before new management came in. These pictures are two months apart and nothing has been done.
Ever since the new management has taken over whisper sky hasnt been the same. They dont respond to emails. They are very rude. I love the apartment itself but wish it was old management.
My experience here was not great, but within the last few months of my stay a new management company took over and they seem to be attempting to fix some of the issues I had with these apartments. I moved out, so I dont know if the issues actually got any better. My biggest pet peve was the guest parking and tow policy, which they are working on, so check that out to make sure it works for you.
Worst customer service ever. I been calling for 2 days and nobody answer, and when I finally get to speak with somebody I am treated very poorly. I am very disappointed
Do NOT move here if you have more then one car or if you have guests that come to your house. Your guest cannot park outside for 20 minutes without being towed without notice. Any other place I’ve lived they will put a notice on your car before towing it within 20 minutes of you parking if you don’t have a parking permit. You also have to pay $25 per parking pass in order to park in the apartments that you pay rent to live in.Also, trash is always over flowing and these people do not pick up after their dogs.
Very bad service as a resident, the manager is very despotic, I have already been 1 month and a half and they have not been able to respond to my services. but if they charge a lot of money. they are not friendly.
What a nice quint place for night time. Im so sure its very loud and busy during the day since it looked like car lot or mechanic shop is tight next to the parking lot.
The staff at Whisper Sky are truly amazing! Nikola goes above and beyond in everything she does. You can tell the staff love working there and Corey, the manager, is always helpful. I am thoroughly impressed with the maintenance crew. I always see them working diligently and the complex is spotless and well maintained. I enjoy living here.
I like the apartment, inside access to the garage and the garage length. Garage door width and pillars make accessing the garage challenging. Residents are nice. Office staff are nice.Sometimes Repairs are ignored. I have been here almost 2 months and my garage code that I was told would be done before I moved in still hasn’t been changed. They did take care of a couple of repair issues which I do appreciate.Other repairs from around move in have not been completed after being told by the manager in writing that maintenance would take care of them.Snow removal is done slowly and some sidewalks do not ever get cleared. Understaffed has been the explanation. I am hopeful that it will improve in the future.Update 1/30/20Most repairs are made. Finally have a garage code. Took 2 months!waiting for damaged flooring to be repaired or replaced Maintenance supervisor said it would be replaced that was in December.Tonight (almost February) the manager e-mails me and said they had an opportunity to look at the floor, sent me a picture of the floor and asks me to call. She must not be replacing the flooring. Bathroom floors are linoleum original from about 2008 from what they told me. The quality does not match the apartment or how the community is advertised. The flooring issue is slightly aggravating but not serious.I tried to use the dog park. There has to be over 75 piles of poop that haven’t been picked up. If the owners don’t do it, I guess no one else does either. I have never seen anything like it. Too bad this doesn’t have a place for pictures.
If I could give this place a million stars I would. My family plus two dogs relocated from Indiana and we were a little nervous moving in site unseen. Brie was and still is so incredibly helpful, she was so patient and kind with the million times we called or emailed her with questions, the apartment 110% exceeded any expectations we had - it is beautiful! The community itself is stunning and all of the hard work the staff does around here does not go unnoticed! I absolutely recommend this community to anyone looking to move.
Amazing staff, beautiful landscaping, and spacious apartments with great layouts. I love living at Whisper Sky!
You will love living here! Korey and Brie are wonderful to work with and are extremely accommodating to residents. They both go above and beyond. Beautiful apartments and amazing staff!
The management is terrible. They showing the good house and when you got your apartment everything is different. Their washing machines and Dishwasher refrigerator Oven is too old and they don change with new one until you argue with them . Maintenance employee is disrespectful and don’t do good jop.I lived couples place first time I see kind this management and Maintenance services
Korey is AMAZING - great management. I had extreme circumstances and she was so calm and collected and really worked with me. I have never been to such a great place in my life. Great apartments, great management. Korey thank you so much for all of your support - and all of your understanding. I do so appreciate it.
As the Community Manager for the last 3 years, I can proudly say this community is outstanding! The landscaping is gorgeous, the location is ideal, and the homes are very well appointed. Little things like oversized water heaters and dove tailed cabinetry should not be overlooked. Best of all is the Residents! Truly, I have had the pleasure of meeting so many wonderful people and am honored that they choose and continue to choose Whisper Sky! Thank you for making our community one of Denvers elite!
Let me start off by saying that I never leave reviews. However, my wife and I had the privilege to call Whisper Sky home for over three years and since relocating to another state for work we constantly talk about all the memories made while living at Whisper Sky. The pictures online barley do the property justice. Melissa, Preston and the other members of the Whisper Sky team are best in class and will bend over backwards to address any problems residents may have. I have referred many of my close friends and colleagues to the Whisper Sky team and have no regrets. Happy apartment hunting!!
When I first moved into Whisper Sky in June 2017 the management was HORRIBLE, I wont go into any details because it is irrelevant now with Corey managing the complex. She and the staff are absolutely amazing, I would still be living there if I could.
When we first moved into our apartment at Whisper Sky it was great! The neighbors were respectful and management was very friendly and responsive. However, as time progressed there was multiple changes in management and type of residents. Maintenance also turned over quickly. We were made to feel that we were the problem when all we wanted was to live in peace and have management enforce the rules.1) We had repeated issues with one of our neighbors. While we understand things are never perfect when people are living in such close proximity, we had our downstairs/adjacent neighbors that were heavy cigarette smokers. The smoke would overtake our apartment and get on our belongings. Additionally, the way the apartment was situated is that their garage was under our living room. They drove Uber and had two small but loud dogs and were constantly in and out of their garage in the likes of 15-20 times between 5pm and 2am. This was loud and shook the apartment. This, on top of smoke coming in (as they were also chain smokers), management did little to help and we had to get an attorney involved. Yes- thats right, an attorney to make the complex understand they (both the other residents and themselves) were in violation of the lease in multiple places. Eventually, management decided that this was to be a smoke free complex and indicated all new leases and renewals there would be an agreement that people could not smoke indoors.2) Upstairs neighbors whose dog constantly barked - early in the morning, evening, middle of the night. After asking nicely several times we were getting very angry and involved the regional manager. They did end up giving them a notice of compliance, which took care of the issue.3) Other neighbors would be loading an unloading their car/truck in the middle of the night, multiple times a night, because they were charging those electric scooters. This was right outside our window and would wake us up nightly.4) We paid $50 per month in pet rent for two cats. This was pointless and they provided no amenities for cats (why would they - cats are literally the easiest to take care of) but was constantly making upgrades, such as a dog wash, dog park area etc... There should be no pet rent for cats and they should charge dog owners extra for the amenities.5) There was dog poop everywhere. They poorly enforced this and then would not clean. Stepping in dog poop when you are going to your car in the morning is not a good way to start a day. This is what you get for an extra $50 per month in pet rent.6) There were central/general fire alarm pulls in the public corridors. Someone was pulling these in the middle of the night, sometimes multiple times in one night or over multiple days. There was a speaker inside your unit which was ungodly loud and would often take an hour for the fire department to access what they needed to shut it off.7) At some point, the complex changed from Republic to Waste Management. The dumpsters were smaller and trash would constantly overflow and be thrown next to the dumpsters to the point where it was literally a trash pile. This was almost weekly. I do have to give it to them because the changed back to Republic because it was clearly an issue for everyone.8) Our Air-Conditioning would freeze up multiple times during the hottest days in the summer. This was because the system was poorly maintained and leaked refrigerant. Therefore was overworked and froze over. This was extremely uncomfortable when it would take a couple of days to get it taken care of and then it would do it again a short time later.UPDATE: 9/21/19: The businesses reply once again skated the entire issue. While I understand you cant discriminate on housing, you just ignored our concerns. Way to go - making us feel like were the problem when were not. Here is a suggestion - enforce the rules and everyone would be happier. If you like cigarette smoke, loud and disrespoectful neighbors, dog poop, barking dogs etc... then this is the place for you.
I have been living here for over two years with my children. They have wonderful activities each month, for all age groups. They really treat us like family here! The staff is very professional and friendly. The grounds are kept up well.
We have lived here for 2 1/2 years and only reason we are moving is for job relocation. Preston, Isaac and (Jennifer) were Awesome to work with . If you want Great Location, Beautiful Apartments and Incredible Grounds then this is the place for you . I wish I could take the office staff and the Grounds with us today our new location . Our Family was Very Happy to live here .
Install gates so you dont impound your tenants vehicles. F this place. We wont renew our lease when the time comes.
I came from being in charge of 172 homeowners and the HOA to being completely being taken care of at Whisper Sky. Makes me never want to buy again. No request has been too small. Beautiful property and excellent staff.
We love our big, beautiful apartment, our friendly neighbors, the well kept grounds, the amazing staff and all the amenities. This is truly a wonderful community.
Absolutely love Nicola and Bree. Amazing staff, amazing grounds, amazing homes!!!
My wife and I moved here the end of January. After a few maintenance bumbs, things got corrected and we are pleased with our move. The grounds are nice and the apartment we are in is also nice. Just one word of caution, if you get an appartment in the Boulder collection, remember some of them are above garages and yes you do here them open and close. The office staff is very accomodating and quick to respond.
Wonderful place to live!
My family moved to Whisper Sky in December 2014 after an extensive search of apartments and private rentals in the SE metro area. Our decision to move to WS came down to the build quality of the homes, central location and value.Build QualityWhisper Sky was originally built as condos and was converted into an apartment complex after the fact. The finishes inside the units are really top notch compared with similarly priced apartments. Our kitchen is spacious with an island, granite countertops with backsplash and backlighting. The cabinetry is beautiful and would be something youd want for your home and not expect to find in an apartment. The bedrooms are standard in size with the master being larger and a generous walk-in closet. No issues having a king-size bed in the master although I wouldnt recommend anything larger than a queen for the guest bedroom.LocationYMMV when it comes to location. The Dayton Triangle area is convenient to Parker / Leetsdale, Havana and Hampden with about a 30 minute drive to DIA.ValueI would say Whisper Skys rent comes in above the market at first glance versus similar apartments in the area until you consider every unit comes with a garage included in the price. Apartments in Denver are all over the board when figuring garage cost in addition to the apartment lease but probably averaging $85 - $100 / month. All first and second floor apartments come with an attached garage that are single car but very deep and I believe the top floor units come with a detached garage. We were able to put up 6 shelving units in the front of our garage and still park a Subaru Outback comfortably behind (and we have one of the smaller attached garages offered). Value is not the cheapest but what you perceive to get for your money and we are willing to pay a bit more for a lot of the creature comforts at this property.ImpressionsAfter almost two months at this property we have been pleased with our choice. It is apartment-style living so sharing walls with neighbors can have its moments but the residents weve met have been pleasant. The part we have been most pleased with is Melissa and her office staff, Drew and Preston. We had a mix-up with our apartment being available at move-in and Melissa made arrangements to ensure my family was taken care of properly. She truly dropped what she was doing and personally attended to making sure we chose a suitable unit and followed up with us after the move to see how things were going. The attention to resident-satisfaction we have experienced at Whisper Sky is not common in the housing industry but Melissa and her team have exceeded our expectations. Preston and Drew have called us by name since we moved in and made the transition from visitor to resident painless and easy. This is a good bunch that didnt forget about us after the sale.
