Personally I’ve had a pretty decent experience here. There are normal pains one can expect from living in an apartment building such as occasional elevator and laundry room outages, but nothing terribly bad. The staff have always been extremely friendly and helpful, always willing to bend over backwards to cater to my requests - especially Zach in particular. I know they have a rough job, but they’re killing it!

Only thing that brought me to writing a review is the fact that the package receiving area is on the second floor, right next to the gym and the pool entrance. There are also two hallways that connect the buildings so it’s a busy area. Needless to say people are trash and are going to steal your packages. If you end up living here try and get a mail locker. This system is absurd and the complex definitely needs to find a solution to this. Hope this helps some people.

I really enjoyed my unit. The walls were thick so I never heard noise from neighbors. I loved the huge windows. Maintenance fixed any issues I had.The real down fall of this property is the management company/leasing office. There is so much turn over in the office that you never can get the help you need when you call or show up. Its a very unsettling feeling to not trust the people who you owe your rent to. I gave my 60 day notice on 2/11. It was confirmed via email, but that leasing agent never put that in their system. Now, a day past our leases end date, I am being charged for a whole month of rent. I am approaching the 4th day of the month which is the last day to pay rent, and I still need support in rectifying this situation.Save yourself the anxiety and dont live here.

I moved into this building a few months ago and I have to say I really don’t understand the negative reviews out there. The building itself is in a fantastic location, and it is very well maintained by the on site maintenance team. I’ve dealt with almost everyone on the leasing team, and they’ve all been very helpful. Stephen was able to walk me through the entire leasing process and made sure everything was ready for me on move in day. John, another leasing agent, even went as far as to personally come fix my garbage disposal on move in day when it wasn’t working. Had it up and running again in 5 minutes. Jonathan, another person on the leasing team, helped me resolve a small rent issue quickly and politely. Every other landlord I’ve had in Colorado has been an absolute hassle to deal with, but all of the employees here are friendly and professional and many of them even greet me by name after just 2 months. The maintenance men I’ve dealt with for minor issues have always been prompt and knowledgeable. I truly have no idea what people are talking about when they say the management is rude or incompetent, hands down the best I’ve dealt with in several years. Also the rent charges have always been straightforward for me and they even go as far as to mail you a document about halfway through the month explaining the breakdown. Overall great place to live and couldn’t be happier.

Cannot make this up. The second paragraph below is an event that happened in the winter of 2020-21 where we did not have heat for a month in our Appartment. Now, it just started getting warm here in Denver and our AC does not work. So, no heat in the winter and no AC in the warm month. The only thing the 300 East 17th apartments has to offer are walls and a ceiling. Everything else is low quality/cheap and works poorly. Just over the weekend I had to spend an extra hour ringing out my clothes in the sink because yet again a washer didn’t drain out the water. As I said in the original post below, if I could give this place less than 1 star I would. Counting down the days until my lease is up.If I could give less than 1 star I would. Extremely janky appartment and horrendous customer support from the entire staff. They deprived us of heat for 21 days after a emergency maintenence request was made. This 21 day period was over the coldest days/weeks of winter. We made a request that our heat was broken, in the middle of winter, and it took 4 Maintenence visits over 21 days to fix it. Ridiculous. They tired to compensate us by offering us $200 for the troubles. We did not feel that was enough nor fair and requested a larger compensation. Valerie Munoz, the property manager, then sent us a document from the apartments legal team stating they didn’t violate any laws by depriving us from heat for 21 days. The property manager has also refused to meet in person to discuss the matter since. I will be getting out of the lease as soon as possible. HIGHLY recommend NOT LIVING HERE. There are much better places out there at the same price or less. Amenities are below average and the hangout area by the pool smells like urine. I have never felt more ripped off than I have when I pay rent for this dump of a place.

I personally would not recommend anyone to live here. I dont feel that this place advertises what you get. I hear peoples dogs barking at all hours of the day. The quality of the appliances in the apartment are cheap. They constantly break or malfunction. The parking garage and the laundry room are flooding more than they should. The washers have flooded my clothes on numerous occasions. The elevator never works, more often than not one of the elevators is out of order. I have expressed my concerns to multiple staff members and they have all acknowledged that these issues have been on going for years and nothing has come of it. I do not find it reasonable to be paying over 1k a month to a place that does not use the money to fix the issues for its residents.

Nobody in the front office seems to care that they are negatively affecting residents by delaying maintenance for amenities. Dont trust that any amenities they show you will be available!Do not trust that any amenities that they show you will be available! None of the amenities are guaranteed on your lease. They closed the pool without notifying residents. In previous years, it was open year round since it is heated. The pool was one of the main reasons I moved here. I havent been able to walk for 2 years so I do my cardio and PT exercises in the water. They have taken away my ability to recover from my injuries with NO notice. When I moved in, they stated the pool was open year round. I feel lied to because this changed recently. The amenities arent guaranteed in your lease!! Dont count on the gym, laundry rooms, or pool to be open and functional if you live here.My maintenance requests are often ignored. I couldnt shower the other day because there was no hot water. When someones laundry was locked inside a machine saying error they (front office) gave her the phone number and insisted she would have to call them and schedule a tech to come out. 4. I cant thank John enough for taking the time out to go the extra mile...this guy is really amazing! I hope the company reads this and rewards him accordingly. We flew to Denver from San Francisco to visit our son, who recently moved to Denver for a better job opportunity. He needed to find an apartment and fast because he had been renting a room at a hotel for $700.00 a week, plus it just wasn’t feasible. The hotel needed a cancellation call by 4 pm otherwise he would be charged another week. John heard about our dilemma so he took on the task of calling and checking every few minutes to find out if my son was approved. Not only did he make calls and check for approval but also offered us water and a snack while we waited. I don’t usually write a review unless the company or person providing the service does an exceptional job. John is not only kind but manager material. He will go far in life so take good care of him because he is a valuable employee. Noah also did a great job and was very attentive. These guys are great! Thank you, Gracie

He worked with me for over 5 hours to get everything together, and he wasnt even my assigned leasing agent. I wish that my leasing agent had been more communicative with me and provided me with detailed information about the move in process and the things that I needed. Although the lack of communication with the original agent was frustrating, John did everything he could to accommodate me and get me into my new apartment. No pool furniture post covid-19 shutdown (which extended 10 days beyond other nearby large apt. communities reopening of amenities) with more restrictive rules than local neighborhood restaurants and salons have had for weeks. Wish I had read reviews before moving in here. Been here almost 2 years and have watched the dog park become more and more disgusting. They clean it by power-washing everything off to the side into the mulch. Hot tub is usually broken. The elevators go back and fourth between breaking, but currently one has been broken for over 2 months. We are charged $6/month for a package parcel we had no say in, and packages are still left right next to it and always ripped open or stolen. Laundry price keeps increasing and so do the odds of the machine breaking mid cycle. Management with FEW exceptions are unresponsive to any issues. Live anywhere else.

If you want to do yourself a favor, do not ignore all of the negative reviews either here or on any other site. The property management company is absolutely non responsive to resident complaints or issues and fails to provide even basic maintenance for amenities such as the elevators, pool, sauna, dog park, landscaping, grills, or any other one they like to promote.Weve filed a BBB complaint which went ignored and seems to be the trend for them. Be sure if you are unfortunate enough to live here to document every issue you have, do your due diligence in reporting it quickly, and definitely be sure to have a lawyer. Not only are they unresponsive but their on site management is condescending, rude, and treat you with the lack of respect unparalleled by anywhere Ive ever lived. Two separate instances our elevator has been completely down for 4+ months in the less than year and a half we have lived here. Each time we have been given an expected resolution, that date comes and is the subsequently pushed out another month without any notices. The most recent instance of this, residences were notified via channel 7 news in Denver that there was yet another delay to repair the elevator which has been nonfunctioning since May. (Update: we are still not expected to have it resolved until the end of October.)Most of the residence that do live here have completely given up hope and have systematically left early or refuse to renew their leases. Yes, youll save a little money, but the hassle of having to deal with maintenance that takes at minimum 3 days to repair any request is not worth it. The time wasted waiting for an elevator or for the water to be turned back on is worth an extra couple hundred bucks a month to live in any apartment anywhere else in Denver. With all this said, youve been warned. The positive posts on here are verified to be either employees or friends of employees who want to try to save this failing complex. Be mindful of this warning and save yourself the trouble.

Turn around. Run. It doesnt matter what flash sale they offer or television they throw in with your lease. They might even be relatively friendly and make you think maybe it has improved since all of these horror stories were posted online! The location is incredible, but this property has been hideously mismanaged.Random charges are billed with no explanation or notification of any kind. Notices THREATENING EVICTION for missed payments are routinely posted BY MISTAKE.Due to the intensely frustrating nature of life at this property, many residents are breaking their leases and incurring charges to move out early.Elevators are left broken for months on end, with no compensation for residents. I have been trapped in them twice since moving in. (Edit: Management has responded regarding this below with the boilerplate response they’ve copied and pasted for months: the mystical part being manufactured was initially arriving in July, then August, then September, and apparently now late October. When the elevator vendor, ThyssenKrupp was asked about the issue, they cited MAXX Properties’ refusal to pay for repairs as the cause of the delays.)Water is shut off for several hours on an almost weekly basis for “emergency repairs,” often with less than an hour’s notice.Maintenance problems are usually only handled once several requests have been submitted. If you’re lucky, they will knock, but we’ve also had staff members unlock our apartment and enter unannounced. Apparently, someone had told them it was a vacant unit.Community areas are in constant disrepair. Amenities are removed, rather than fixed. Damaged elements are often left in unsafe condition (glass on elevator floor, shop lights dangling over pipes loose from extension cords.)Emergency alarms go off for no reason so frequently that most residents now ignore them and don’t bother evacuating. When a disabled resident asked community manager Chelsea about their evacuation plan with the elevator broken, they were told to cease contacting her directly.Worst of all, when any of these concerns are brought to the attention of management, they are met with condescension, redirection and often outright falsehoods (if you ever receive a response at all!)We have seen nearly the entire community staff turn over several times under Chelsea, and it is no surprise. She blames her employees, her vendors, her supervisors, and the age of her building for everything wrong while never taking any responsibility herself. The neighborhood is incredible, but I highly recommend you rent elsewhere.

This is one of the most poorly managed business I have ever seen. They recently replaced the management staff with new people to no effect. The property is run down, and not maintained. Elevators are regularly broken. I spoke with one of the elevator repair men who told me that MAXX Properties was a nightmare to deal with, and that all of the elevator problems could be fixed with the right parts, that the management fails to buy. I was sold on the availability of amenities. They sold me on a sauna that has not been operational for years, which is fraud. The facilities regularly break, but are never fixed completely, or in a timely manner. If I could give them no stars, I would. The location is great, but thats where the benefits of this place stop. Avoid living here at all costs. They lie to your face to get you in, then avoid any duty to ensure that the amenities are available. They skimp on Elevator repair, which is a resident safety issue. Who knows what else they fudge on?

This is the worst rental experience I have ever had. The leasing staff is completely incompetent and unable to help their residents. Calls and email are never returned despite the nature of the call. It is clear their only incentive is to sign new leases, not help any of their current residents. All experiences I have had with them leave me absolutely baffled at the incompetence. There is a revolving door of these agents, with one leaving and being replaced every couple of months, with the new persons skills being less than the one before. The two woman who worked here when I first moved in where great. It is clear they got out of here real fast and customer service left with them. The laundry facility has had constantly broken machines for nine months. The machines are turned off, leak, do not accept money or spin for hours, locking your clothes in and you are unable to get them out. There have been signs posted time and again that the machines are being replaced, but nothing ever changes. The pool which is supposed to be open all year went under construction in August. There is constant construction noise and no concessions have been made financially for those of us who expect and pay to have a pool all year long. The balcony off the apartment is littered in cigarette butts from the apartment above, and if you have an apartment overlooking the courtyard, you cant open your windows because of the constant smoke coming from the smokers corner. I am aware that this is Colorado, but this building is supposed to be smoke free. My apartment and the hallways reek of marijuana morning and night. The exercise facility is a joke also. The machines are always broken and far from state of the art. I had to join the YMCA down the street. The bike racks are filled with old and broken bikes, with no place to lock a new bike up. Again, requests for maintenance are unsuccessful. Parking costs continuously rise, despite plenty of unused spots. You are better off renting in one of the lots located around the building.Counting down the days until I dont have to pay to live here anymore.

When my roommate and I decided to move to Denver we thought wed hit the apartment jackpot when we found 300 E. 17th. The apartments seemed to be clean and modern, the lobby was nice, its was in a great location, had an on site laundry room, gym, and covered parking! We thought wed never find anything better! If you recently looked into leasing one of these apartments and had a similar first impression I warn you: do not be fooled by any of this.I could go on for pages about why you shouldnt live here but Ill keep it short and sweet.About a month in to our lease our sink fell into our cabinet. Literally detached from the granite and collapsed into the cabinet below, causing disgusting, smelly black water to seep directly into the floorboards for hours (it happened during the day while we were at work.) After calling emergency maintenance and having them come fix it we thought wed seen the end of our plumbing problems. Nope.A few months later our sink stopped draining and instead started regurgitating all of the sediment from the pipes and garbage disposal filling the sink with the same disgusting black water. We thought simply running the disposal would solve the problem but it only made it worse. The sink backed up to the point where it was overflowing disgusting food-ridden water onto the floor once again. After a second round of emergency maintenance we thought surely our problems were fixed. Wrong again.Week after week we had the same problems with our sink backing up and refusing to drain. All of these issues were fixed only to resurface the following week. PS not ONCE did the maintenance men clean up after themselves. Dirty footprints and wet rags were left EVERYWHERE. These issues then extended to our dishwasher, which we one day opened to find the same stagnant black water. The absolute boiling point came late one Friday night when our dishwasher started leaking the foulest smelling black water yet. Furious with the buildings apparent lack of ability to fix our appliances we called emergency after hours maintenance, only to be told that they had already fixed this problem, sorry, and were then hung up on. We followed up with the leasing agents the next day. To their credit they were very apologetic and assured us that we would not be held responsible for any water damage or plumbing issues upon the end of our lease.Needless to say we did not want to renew so when move out time came a few months later we gladly paid off the rest of our rent and RAN away. Its been about 2 months now since we moved out and we finally got our security deposit back! Looks like they deducted our last rent payment, which we have already paid in full, as well as took the liberty of using our money to repair water damages. I cant say Im surprised.Just dont live here.

Can I give 0 stars? One seems too high. You probably read about all of the things I could put down here. EX: Dont get an apartment above floor 3 unless you want to wait for elevators that dont work. Good news is your cardio/heart will thank you for the stairs you will take. Probably the only nice thing I can say about the situation other than the location. But then again Denver is pretty cool in general, so live somewhere else.

Lived here 2 years and overall positive experience. There have been some issues with the elevators but all good now, and also with alarms going off. This location is great. Joey and the staff have been excellent with anything I have needed. Im moving out at the end of the month so well see how that goes.Edited my review. This is the second time I have lived here and the elevators are still a MAJOR problem they never work and I have been late to work many times. There is no easy way to access the lower garage levels without the elevators and its terrible and annoying.

This is a decent building that has very sound proof walls. My apartment is nice and and enjoyable to be in. The pool area is fun. The gym is very limited and is often crowded after work. The reason I am writing this review is despite the enormous sums of money I pay this building each month for rent and parking, my car was towed this Sunday. I had my parking permit displayed and was parked in my spot. However, I am new to CO and was unaware that this state still uses registration stickers (cmon lets get in the 21st century). Anyways, my car was towed for not displaying these stickers. I understand that I am at fault here but it just rubs me the wrong way to have tried to address the ticket I received and not been informed of what was actually wrong with the car. Good building but you better play by the rules because the staff doesnt have your back.

This place was awful, I lived here for a year with a friend of mine and we had countless issues with management. Its a great location and can be affordable but NOTHING is worth the headache of actually living here. Upon moving out it took them months to get a deposit back to me which was wrong, they charged me double rent and are not communicating with paying me back in full. I urge anyone interested to look elsewhere, it really isnt worth it.

Just went here for a showing planning to sign a lease but Jessica (? She only handed us a card, dont think she ever introduced herself or shook our hand) was so incredibly rude the entire time that we had to reevaluate. I dont know if it was because we were wearing t-shirts and she didnt think we could afford the place? But she talked down to us the entire time. She told us parking was $125 (the most expensive wed seen in that neighborhood, and as prospective renters, trust me, weve been shopping around) and said in the most condescending voice well everywhere else around here is $250 for parking Not true, not necessary, not respectful. Then we mentioned that we thought the photos online showed hardwood and the one we were looking at was carpet. She rudely snapped NONE of our apartments have hardwood so you DIDNT see that online. Again, rude, it was an honest mistake no need to demean us like that. Not sure how a business can operate with this kind of staff but I guess they find enough people to pay too much for their mediocre apartments

Please stay away from here! BUMS AT THE MISSION GET BETTER SERVICE! The management could care less about your well-being. I will agree with the last few reviews that the walls are sound, and you can only hear about 80% of your neighbors’ movement. 300 Apartments problem is not the noise; it is the spacy and rude management that spends the majority of their time smoking cigarettes in the garage. It has now been twelve days and four different phones calls to get our shower drain fixed. It has been plugged since we moved in 6 months ago, but after the first 2 times we were blown off we decided to deal with Drano, but it has gotten so bad we decided to try calling again. And again with no action from the staff are showering in 4 inches of dirty water. Brien the manager I believe tries to be nice and helpful, but the second you stop talking to him I believe he forgets where he is. Kayla is possibly the most unfriendly person I have ever met. She will avoid helping you at all costs, and if you dare ask her for help, she becomes enraged at the fact she actually has to do her job and treats you with such disrespect it is amazing. I have no idea how a person with such horrible, lazy customer relations could come into a job such as this.On a good not Mike the security guard is one of the nicest and most helpful people you will ever meet, but not worth the $1700 I pay for outright disrespectful, cold management, broken hot tubs (not kidding), half a bathroom, and to agree with the previous comment I too had my car towed from MY PAID parking spot. The management, who informed me they had my situation taken care of, did not spend the 3 minutes to inform the parking services my tags were in the mail, so I too got to pay a nice tow bill.So do yourself a favor, please please please do not waste your money here! I am stuck here for another 6 months. And this is not just a personal vendetta. 3 other neighbors here that feel the exact same way, and they too are running from 300 Apartments the second our leases are up!

If you are looking for a terrible living experience, this is the place for you. Not only will you run into numerous frustrating situations while you live there but the property staff will make you very aware that they dont care and they will combat you on EVERYTHING. Between the washing units always being broken and taking your money (Management doesnt want to hear about it), The elevators NEVER working (Management doesnt want to hear about it), and recently when they left wires hanging out of the wall and forgot about it (See below. God forbid management had to hear about it), I do NOT recommend. Management will act like they care when you just move in, but quite frankly you will learn very quickly by all the eye rolls you receive that they dont care at all. I will be the 5th person that I know to leave this building extremely unhappy.

I am in absolute shock and awe of how I was treated by the leasing staff during my year stay here. The first frustrating thing that happened was the Manager of all the Leasing Agents, Brian Tyler, told me the apartment I was looking at would indeed be done by my desired move in date, and that I should go ahead and fill out the application. I felt so stupid because after paying $50 to apply, Brian then told me the renovation completion date was a week later. I ended up settling for another apartment that was less ideal and more expensive, so I could maintain the move-in date I really needed.Three weeks after I moved in, someone was parked in my garage parking spot, and I couldnt tow them because they actually had the garage tag for that spot too! Brian, also in charge of parking, gave them a tag for my same spot because he mis-noted that he issued that spot out already. He promised me four days in a row that I would come home to my spot being available, but failed to remedy this for almost an entire week. The worst part for me was how irritated he seemed that I had the audacity to come to him everyday to check the status of me being able to use my own spot. Unfortunately, that wasnt the only parking issue with Brian either. It took me sending 3 to 4 emails and reminding him at least twice in person to actually give us our second spot, so my roommate and I could each park in the garage. Last thing Ill say about the garage is do not try to follow someone else in. I tried that and there was an issue with the motion sensor, so my ski roof rack ended getting snapped off. I showed the Head of the Community and instead of being apologetic and worried about the functionality of the garage door sensor, he shook his head and asked me what I expect him to do about it.My experience with the rest of the leasing staff was fine. But unfortunately when theres an issue needing to be dealt with by the manager, we ended up dealing with that guy Brian. I actually had 3 incorrect bills sent to me throughout my stay. Amounts were requested for vague line-items, that I would ask about and they would say I could ignore it. I got in the habit of ignoring the seemingly unjust charges, until once they sent me a notice for a failure to pay. I would say the response I got from Brian when I inquired about the charge is the main reason I wrote this review. He was condescending, annoyed with me, irritable, unprofessional, and insulting. This isnt even just a member of the leasing staff, this is the MANAGER!It seems like there is a consensus in the building with both the security guards and residents, that the leasing staff is less than enjoyable to have running the building. It makes a lot of sense when the person in charge of the staff is as embarrassingly unprofessional as Brian Tyler is.Rent was jacked up, easy choice, Im out of here.

I dont know where to begin with the issues we have been having with this apartment complex, but I will focus on the two bigger issues I have noticed most recently. One of the three treadmills in the gym has been broken for over a week. The gym is subpar anyways (and I have submitted requests regarding the gym equipment in the past) and without a third of the cardio equipment working, its a legitimate joke. I understand the gym is a luxury amenity that may not be the main focus of an apartment complex, however, when I am paying upwards of $1300 in rent to live here, I would expect it to be maintained at a decent level. The next appalling lack of maintenance is the laundry. Consistently, the machines malfunction or fail to work at all. I cant remember a time I did laundry here when each component worked efficiently and correctly. I dont think there has been such an occurrence. Most recently (tonight), not a single dryer is working.I know that a small percent of the units are occupied in these buildings and the competition in the surrounding areas is only getting greater. The price for this location is wonderful, but its also exorbitantly high for the amenities provided. Im not sure where the money from the rent goes, but I certainly dont see it in any of the amenities listed on the complexes website. I would expect more from Maxx properties.

I spent 2 wonderful years living there in 300 E 17th. I work in downtown, so living there saved me 50 days of my life on commute (20 minutes roundtrip of walking a day against 80 minutes riding a bus now). The apartment itself isnt something luxurious, but depending on the floor and the side your windows facing you may get quite a view. Neighbors are fun - therere folks in their late 20s/early 30s living there. I havent got any major issues with them except may be ONE night during the course of those 2 years I had to ask the neighbors from below to be quieter :)Some may find it annoying having sirens going on during the night, but youll have them anywhere in uptown. It wasnt a big concern for us, but keep this in mind.Management is okay, I mean they may confuse some docs or payment from time to time, but in general they are very coming forward in solving your problems with apartment.I got my deposit back in full after moving out - we werent fanatic about cleaning but dedicated half a day together with my wife. They sent me a check after a month of move out date.P.S. I must be honest - this was my only experience in renting, but rating of 2.1 simply seems unfair to me. It looks like people rating it so low are underestimating the bonuses managed housing in such a great spot gives them.

There is not enough space in this small box for me to begin to elaborate how absolutely terrible this apartment facility is. I would be putting it lightly to say that the management is atrocious. The individuals, from the Maxx regional property manager (yes I had a sit down meeting with her to try and convey to her how poor her facilities are being ran) to the actual onsite management is, well, disturbing. There is a communal laundry set-up (similar to dorm life), the parking garage was poorly designed and is not safe, the hot water was rarely hot, the water in general was completely shut off probably 6 or 7 times in the 2 years I lived there and as previously stated the management is laughable. Would not recommend anyone moving into this complex, drive around and look how many other options there are for living. The market is saturated with apartments and companies continue to build, you can absolutely find somewhere better to live that Im sure will be managed on a much more professional level.

I have lived here now for around six months and I have never seen two working elevators at any point in time for over one week and most of the time both of them break at any point during the week and you have to climb all of the stairs to your apartment and they do not do anything to assist you to help you with your rent or do anything to get the elevators fixed. Also be warned if you get stuck in the elevator (and that’s all the time) they won’t call 911 they call maintenance! Who can’t do anything to help you and they tell you to wait! My friend just got stuck in the elevator last weekend and I called 911 and the fire department came to get her out.. no one in the building could do anything to help. I even moved from one building with only 1 elevator ever working to another building that seemed to have two working ones only to find out only one works ever and people constantly get stuck in it! It’s insane- the amount of money this place makes without fixing major issues is ridiculous. I have now moved in to 2 different rooms both with broken blinds, sinks and faucets that are backed up, towel holders that constantly fall off the Wall bc they’re $1 plastic b.s. broken dishwashers that they don’t fix or replace and dirty peed On carpets. The washers and dryers are just as bad- they don’t even run on the time it says - sometimes an additional 20 mins - they’re over priced and don’t even get the clothes wet in the middle of the load oh and the dryers burn Your clothes or Dont dry them. If you have a dog don’t be fooled by the nice outdoor area they have they Never power washed the dog park since I’ve been here. There’s poop smeared all over it and a girl here actually tested a swap at school and bacteria wouldn’t stop growing - I can’t even make this ish up. Other dogs have gotten kennel cough and gaurdia from the dog park. I know the people here are good owners but when the complex doesn’t take care of fecal matter how in the hell can it be clean. They even have a sign that says use at your own risk. The only saving grace were some of the staff but the two office people I liked are now gone and the only amazing sequirty guy is Omar. Just go to another building I can promise you these “amenities” are just on paper nothing is up to par. The pool was ice water bc the heater was broken all summer, the hot tub is old and gets Algae and gets bubbles from all the chemicals used to combat this. The sauna can’t say I’ve ever been because it’s been broken ever since I moved in! Oh but we do have grills if you like grills. The views are great too you can definitely be fooled by those. And we do have Kuerig coffee that they put out in the AMs some mornings. Um ya won’t be resigning a lease here and I urge you to seriously go some place else. I put it work request to fix the major problems in my apartment and they haven’t fixed any of them.

I dont understand all the negative reviews. Just like any big apartment complex, there WILL be maintenance issues. However, if you are direct with the leasing office and maintenance workers they will get their job done. That being said, this apartment complex offers an amazing community space with the pool, hot tub, gym, rec room, dog park, and courtyard all year.Security is always helpful and friendly when the leading agents arent there too, which is great! Also cant beat the fact that every uber driver and lyft driver Ive had knows where it is which makes for very easy transportation.Highly recommended!

I still cant believe people are moving into this location! Pool parties on sunday have been ended! you are not allowed to bring any drinking materials into the pool that that contain alcohol. You can have no more then 2 friends at a time. No music at the pool anymore. no smoking in or near the pool area. The hot tubs have not had water in them for 6 months and when they did have water in them they didnt heat up!! The place is a wreck! Its filthy it always has a weird smell. They do not keep the hallways air conditioned during the summer so expect your apartment to never be cooled. I hate having to make excuses and explain to guess why it stinks of old trash in the hallway it gets really old fast. The hallways are littered with trash the trash chutes always stink they are never bleached or cleaned!! The maintenance men will not respond to request unless you call the main office, and thats if the main office answers the phone! If you want a response from the office heres a trick but it will cost you about 75 dollars plus a 10 dollar per day late fee. Miss one day before rent then they will answer your phone calls. Works everytime. Along with the late fee there is no sorry we can work this out. Its 75 dollars for the late fee then 10 dollars on top of that and 10 dollars everyday after that till you pay your rent. Doesnt matter if your bathroom sink and bath tub is clogged they want their money, doesnt matter if the door handle to your porch is coming off they want their money, doesnt matter if all the lightbulbs in the kitchen went out they want their money. The office personnel act as if they HIRED YOU to move into their apartment. Very cocky!! The security guard threatens people if they do not obey the rules, such as using a parking in spot no one parks in for a quick stop to run up stairs or if you left your key your in apartment and threaten to have your car towed or fined for asking them to let you in your apartment!! Instead of securing the apartment complex they are the enforcers! Bikes are coming up missing cars are being damaged. Property inside the complexs are being are damaged! Next The maintenance men give off an attitude like they dont want anyone there in the building! As if we are making their lives miserable! The parking garage is a MESS!!! they charge 90 dollars to park in a spot that was originally only to be used for two cars is now THREE! I warn anyone who moves here! If you are one that lives here and likes the apartment you grew up in a barn. If your civilized what so ever!? DO NOT MOVE HERE! This is not how a business should be run. We are customers they are hired to do a job and to make our living as comfortable as possible. There is no and should not ever be an argument with tenants especially with all the apartments now opening up all lower cost all through downtown. I do not wanna wake up or come home having to ARGUE with the people i rent an apartment from! I come home to relax!! If you read the rest of the comments you will see it has nothing to do with your neighbors......... ITS THE PEOPLE WHO RUN THE BUILDING!! they will be your worst enemy!

Let me start by saying that this is a very nice place to live. Perfect location uptown, and the renovated interiors (granite, all stainless, etc) are nice. The layouts give a spacious feeling and many (all?) of the units have balconies; some facing out to the street, and others facing into the courtyard (which was getting a little run down but its being completely renovated for next year). That said, if your expectations are Ritz-Carlton, youre going to leave a 1 star review and be done with it. Im not docking stars because my wife and I love the place, and had reasonable expectations coming in.Here are some highlights, without much detail, that matter.+ They like cats and dogs, and have units specifically with them in mind.+ The price point for the location is perfect (but they DO scrimp on some things).+ Plentiful garage parking, for a fee.- The parking is not convenient for guests (but it is available on a limited basis).- Repairs are hit / miss - sometimes same day, sometimes a week later.+ They do respond to emergency calls in a timely fashion.- One corner cut is the use of REALLY cheap fixtures / cabinets / doorknobs on the interior.+ On site workout facilities and laundry, totally acceptable and mostly available.+ Really nice courtyard being renovated right now, will have pool and in-ground hot tubs, with meeting and BBQ spaces, and a little dog park.+/- Lots of 20somethings who are still in college-party mode.+ Quality indoor meeting spaces coming soon.+ They sign for your packages.+ Staff is really laid back and mostly in the background.+ Walls and floors are all concrete.- They turn over units frequently, limiting the elevator much of the time and you can still hear the construction through the walls.I could think of more, but honestly the conveniences of location, price, and overall quality balanced against the minor annoyances (which should be expected in community rental living, in my opinion) earn 5 stars. You can do a LOT worse in Denver, and the better places we looked at are ~20% more expensive without much reason.Consider that most of the really bad reviews were written by people who have a chip on their shoulder about minor annoyances that should have been considered before moving in. Of course, sometimes there will be a major problem with this many units (and scant maintenance staff), but they really do try their best.Theyve replaced my AC twice this summer, once in under 12 hours, and responded in 15 minutes to a tub that wouldnt drain and a toilet that started to leak (different occurrences). Theyll even change your light bulbs for you. I think thats an acceptable level of service, once again, with all things considered. Theyre working with a company to get Gigabit Fiber Internet throughout the building, which (if it gets done) will mean you can cancel Comcast, which BY ITSELF would be a huge marketing point... but this isnt a Comcast review. ;)As long as they dont raise the rent (much) and maintain at least the level of responsibility and respect they have thus far, my wife and I will stay here a few years (HER words, not mine)!

DO NOT MOVE HERE. The management is terrible; they did not respond to several complaints regarding stolen items from the parking garage, stolen mail, and over-billing. I had two packages stolen from the apartment complex, both signed for by a security guard employed by the Company, and a notice never showed up in my mailbox that I had a package. I noticed they were marked as delivered online, so I inquired with the leasing agents, and my packages were not in the mailroom. The apartment complex made no effort to re-mediate anything, and these packages totaled $600. After my mail was stolen, I was never directed to management. I repeatedly called and asked to speak to a manager, and the assistants said no and that no one could help me with any of my issues.Additionally, there are bike racks in the parking garage near the garage doors. My bike, which was worth about $250, was locked to the rack. The lock was cut and my bike was stolen within a few hours of being locked up in the middle of the day. Again, management said thats too bad.Next, there were months where we were billed for two months, and emails to the apartment complex manager and assistant manager were both not responded to. The bills had to be re-mediated in person during business hours M-F in person, which is inconvenient when both my roommate and I have careers and have to waste vacation time on issues like incorrect bills.Upon one of the most anticipated days in my life, move-out from 300 E. 17th Ave day, I was told I was not able to move out because I did not reserve the moving dock, and you can only move out from 9-5pm (business hours) on Monday through Saturday. Thats a ridiculous, unnecessary rule.Additionally, my roommate hired movers to transport her stuff to our new apartment. The movers backed into a sprinkler line in the loading dock, and we were charged $1,100 for repairs. The 300 E. 17th Ave security guard was there, saw the moving Company truck with their Company name, and instead of pursuing legal action from the responsible party, they are threatening to take both of us to collections for this incident. Again, we have tried to call and email repeatedly, and have heard nothing from management.Lastly, we performed a thorough cleaning of our apartment when we moved out, using the apartment complexs move out checklist of cleaning charges that would be applied should we decide not to clean anything. Surprise! They took all of our deposit towards cleaning and charged us another $50 on top of what we already paid. The only way anything can be resolved at this place is if you physically can show up to their office hours from 9-5 Monday through Friday. The management and leasing agent team are highly disrespectful and incompetent in my opinion. You shouldnt have to waste vacation time to solve miniscule issues in person during the business day. I have wasted 100+ hours dealing with shipping companies, the police, and other parties trying to fix all the issues theyve created with improper controls in place over mail, their billing system, etc. etc. etc... The location and price was appealing to me before I moved in, and unfortunately I learned the hard way that this apartment complex management and leasing team is extremely incompetent and inept. There should be an option for zero stars. This place doesnt even deserve one.

Its like living in building run by people high on bath salts.Things break constantly and are just left broken (treadmills, washing machines, dryers, lights, elevators, blinds in the apartment, sinks, showers)Our bathroom sink stopped working in mid march, and after trying to put in work orders 3 times, Weve just accepted that they refuse to help us and use the kitchen instead. The staff are morons except when they think you missed a payment or are late. Then they operate like ruthless bounty hunters. Of course thats assuming you actually have missed a payment. We have received notices of missing or late rent threatening eviction, gone to talk to them in the office and they say something along the lines of Oh yah, just ignore it.If you live here, I guarantee you will receive at LEAST two messed up bills. Youll either be under or overcharged, theyll forget to include parking or something like that. And what is their response to messing up and forgetting to include everything? Thats right, one of those You owe us money eviction threat notices. Theyve screwed up 3 of our bills in a 6 month lease, and every time without fail weve gotten one of those things. No apology or Our bad, nothing.Theres also a church a block away that homeless people congregate towards, so at any time there will be anywhere from 5 to 25 homeless people hanging outside.I would not recommend living here.
