Marco and his team came to unclog mainline after a previous company was unable to do so. They came on last second notice early evening after already putting in a full day of work. They unclogged line in no time and showed us where damage was located. Just an awesome crew who weren’t going to leave until they got us usage of our toilets and shower. Highly recommend Golden West plumbing. So reassuring that there are still honest businesses out there!

Seven years ago, the previous owner of my home had Golden West install the sanitary sewer pipe. Golden West provided them a 10-year warranty on parts and labor. Recently, I discovered that the sewer had a couple of low spots where water was pooling, causing the system to back up. Golden West honored the warranty and replaced the pipe. They completed the repair quickly and charged me nothing for the warranty repair. This company is trustworthy and easy to work with.

My name is Randy Jacobs. We had Brendan and his assistant at our new house yesterday to winterize the swamp cooler. I was worried because the cooler is on a steep roof. A prior company left some wood planks on the roof. Brendan and his assistant were absolutely fantastic! They winterized the cooler and also made some recommendations for a new ball valve for the cooler for next spring. They also took down the wood planks for me. My experience with the visit was 11/10! I dont often write reviews but felt compelled because of how great the visit was. Brendan is so cheerful and so helpful!! He won us over to use your company in the future for sure!

Very happy with all services. We had sewer ejector pump replaced by Rico in May (excellent work) and Will diagnosed a leak for us caused by the shoddy workmanship of our contractor on a bathroom remodel. I trust their expertise and advice.

Brendan came to our home on Sunday and was able to let us know about the unfortunate timing to the death of our AC unit. He took the time to go over what he would be able to do for us as well as the pricing. We were expecting a giant number but it came in very reasonable. We were even able to finance it which was super helpful. Two days later Brendan and Larry came out to replace our old unit outside, change out the coils in the basement and move the pipes and cords attached for us. Together they spent all day at our home making sure it was all perfect and the way we wanted it. They worked hard to make sure everything was working properly. They explained everything in detail to my fiancé and I so we knew exactly what all the changes were. Ben was great. Are drains backed up on a Sunday, but goldenwest got him here Sunday afternoon, even at the lower within hours rate! Then talked me through everything he was doing and gave me a great rate to get my drains flowing again. Now I have a 90-day guarantee that if I have another problem, Ben will come and scope my system to find the source. But I dont anticipate another problem. Very satisfied.

Great experience with Golden West Plumbing! Although they did not do the work, they gave us a clear explanation of what was causing our leak. It was not related to plumbing. Josh was very helpful and went out of his way to explain the situation. We only paid a trip charge and he spent close to two hours inspecting the water leak. I will definitely use Golden West in the future for any plumbing needs. They are a company you can trust to do the right thing!

Booking the service was easy and the person that I was booking with even went out of their way to ask questions to make sure it was a job that they would actually be able to service (apparently freezing ACs are a no go?) so I wouldnt be charged just for them to show up. They were able to move up my appointment time and came promptly at the new time. They quickly assessed the situation, fixed it, and the diagnostic was very thorough after that. After our 15 year-old water heater began leaking, we reached out to Golden West for assistance. They were able to send someone within a few hours to provide an assessment, and their technician (Jason) provided a great explanation of the current issue, underlying root causes, and a few different options for our route forward. We highly recommend Golden West! Our boiler had been giving us trouble since we purchased our home about a year ago. When our warranty company couldnt find a contractor that serviced boilers, we found Golden West. The customer service in the office/dispatch was fantastic. Friendly and concerned about our active leak on a Saturday and sent Andy to our home. From the moment he showed up, he was incredibly personable, professional, sympathetic, and knowledgeable about our boiler and situation. He made sure we had water for the rest of the weekend and returned on Monday morning to further assess the situation and provide us with multiple options. He even spent at least an hour on the phone with our (terrible) home warranty company (see my other review) in an attempt to get them to cover a portion of our cost. His number one priority was to ensure we didnt have to go without a hot shower! :) He made a repair on Monday and came back later in the week to fully replace our boiler system. Andy and Joseph were friendly and respectful of our home, and kept us informed about what was happening along the way. Our old system was very complicated and Andy helped us understand the whys and hows of our replacement. Andy is a rock star! Golden West installed a new AC system for us in our house that had never had one before.They were incredibly communicative and responsive through the whole process from quote to completion and incredibly easy to work with. They were also the company that was able to get us on their schedule the quickest which was a lifesaver because we hit 100 the day they finished.Andy the technician as well as his apprentice Joseph, and Manny the sheet metal wizard did a great job even though our old house presented a few roadblocks and it took a little longer than expected. Would recommend to anyone needing AC work.

Im not a plumber or electrician by trade, but I really appreciate when these professionals help us fix things up, they also explain why things are broken and how it all works. Brendan really knows his stuff and explained some complicated mechanisms in relatively simple terms. Oftentimes dealing with a broken boiler is not fun, Brendan made it a pleasant ordeal. Great guy.

The only saving grace was Anthony. Scheduled an appointment for Friday evening that got pushed back to Sat. We called the number and they told us we didn’t answer to confirm the appointment (total BS ) they had both our contact info. Got rescheduled for Monday Anthony showed up and fixed the issues. Very polite neat and quick. Their call center and scheduler not so good to say the least but Anthony 5 stars.

Had some flooding in our basement a couple of days ago and a friend recommended calling Golden West. It was a good recommendation. Anthony and Felix came over to help. The company was kind enough to give us a good time frame upon arrival and sent the name, picture and profile of the technician who would be assisting us.Anthony and Felix were great! Very polite upon arrival and took all necessary precautions relating to Covid and cleanliness. They listened and asked questions before assuming anything. Andy saved our lives! Well not literally but he saved us from our apartments unbearable heat which is almost equivalent. Anthony came out to see why the GFI box kept tripping cutting off hot water to the heater. He did detailed inspection and found out the sump pump needed a new part and redid some electrical work where the GFI would not trip anymore and we would not lose anymore hot water. Anthony from meeting him to end was very professional, made sure we understood what was going on and explained what he had to do.

The young man who came to replace my outdoor spigot was friendly, on time, courteous -- very careful with shoe covers and mask. In addition to the actual repair, he also discussed any other issues that I should consider that may arise from my particular problem. Brendan was wonderful! He checked everything on my furnace and a/c and found the culprit to be an incorrectly attached thermostat. My fault. He showed me how to secure the thermostat firmly and showed me how to install a new one, or call him. I feel confident that the system is working properly since he attached and tightened any loose wires and connections.

I was out of town when the water heater decided to give out but my partner who doesnt know plumbing was home. We just moved in and when she called we discovered on video chat that there was no shutoff valve at the water heater like there is should be. So I had to have her shutoff the main valve to the house. I told her to see if she could find someone to come out and cap the line or install a valve at the water heater so she could at least have cold water and figure the rest out when I got back in town. She called Golden West, $544 to make 2 cuts and sweat on two $0.99 caps. I am OK with after hours fees and rush fees, but I dont care if its 3 AM on Christmas morning that price is outrageous for the work performed.

The technician was here to give us an estimate on running a new gas line from the meter to the home. He was knowledgeable and professional. Compared to other bids, the cost was high. This does not rule out the possibility of using their services.

Josh was awesome! Our shower had a leak (result of a DIY project gone wrong), and we needed a quick fix, so we could give our 12 week old baby a bath . He stayed late on a Friday night to get the job done, and overcame many obstacles our 30+ year old shower threw at him. Pricing seems a bit predatory. Two hours of work and a 6 inch section of pipe behind my exterior spigot should not cost $800. It seems like they might be relying on folks who dont have time to shop around and balk at the idea of cost comparing after seeing the sunk cost theyve already paid to have the job estimated. Maybe Im wrong, and plumbers actually do charge $400/hour.. If so, Ive chosen the wrong profession. They also didnt repair the wall that they cut out, which I was disappointed to learn because, after hearing the price, I had assumed this was a full service job. I recommend shopping around and seeing if you can get an estimate first.On the positive side, my tech was excellent. Very kind and professional, and got the main job done without issue.

The old hot water heater was producing about a gallon of water a day. They came out right away and since the old one was over 10 years old we did a replacement the next day. Very courteous. Provided options at various price points. Good, quality work.

We had a sump pump put in after fighting water coming into our basement for the past month. We called Golden West Plumbing and after meeting with Ben him and his crew were out and fixed the problem in one day. They are very professional workers they take pride in their work and leave the house the way they find it. Ben and his crew are awesome guys thank you all so much.

Josh was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. He replaced old screw valves on my washer output and when he saw my old master off screw valve setup he recommended replacing with ball joints and adding a pressure regulator. Everything looks like it was done by a professional and he ensured I knew how to work everything before he left.

Chris and his team were professional. They were on time and clean. They installed a new ac unit and furnace for our house. I highly recommend.

The plumber/electrican was completely competent and a very pleasant guy. He explained everything and gave me options for what I wanted him to do. The only improvement would be the pricing not the plumber/ electrician. Very expensive and like a car repair you are charged alot of labor and it only takes him 3 hours for 6-8 hours billing. There was some flexibility in the pricing but it was very expensive despite some coupons which they honored. Nice people . Great for an emergency 24/7.

Golden West was great! I called first thing in the morning and was lucky enough to get a tech out within two hours. Our tech, Ben, was great! Our drain wasn’t draining properly and it was due to roots in our piping. He was very knowledgeable, explained the issues, cut out the roots and flushed the system. He also provided a visual inspection of our pipes to show they were draining and walked me through what he did to complete the work. This is the second time we have used Golden West and we have been very happy with the services provided by this company. - Also because we are in a pandemic I feel it’s important to note that they followed health safety guidelines.

Fantastic service. Brendan was my technician and did an outstanding job of diagnosing the problem with my AC and fixing the problem at an affordable price. He explained everything thoroughly and was very professional.

Josh is awesome. He will take time with you and explain everything. He came out twice to fix a waterline to our fridge and every step of the process was just wonderful. Highly recommend and we will be calling again for any future needs.
