They charged me $110 for a full set solar nails, ombré . Took almost 2hrs (which is waaaayyy longer than it should take) he couldn’t even take off my prior set. The person at the front kept talking to me about “how I need to do this & that to take care of my nails IVE BEEN GETTING MY NAILS DONE FOR OVER 15yrs. 2days later my nail broke off & the shape was terrible. Their over priced,slow & completely not worth it.

Truly disappointed with the experience I had here. I used to be a regular customer before Covid. Just before the pandemic, I received a sizable gift card from a family member just before the pandemic started. Tried to use it yesterday (I have proof of the purchase) and they would not honor it— they said it didn’t work and they had no record of the purchase. Then they said that gift cards expire after 6 months— later they said 12 months or 18 months (the gift card doesn’t say this). They don’t keep accurate records of their books. I asked to speak to the owner, and they gave me an email address. Later, I learned that was the owner that I was already speaking to. I will not return and cannot recommend this business, though I used to be a regular customer. Currently they have giant “20% off” signs in their windows, with “2nd service” in tiny print at the bottom. The business wouldn’t honor this for the customers before me, and they also left, upset. Needless to say, I won’t return here.

I paid 70 just for my nails to not come out right and the polish has been coming off 😩😩then I’ve gotten my nails done longer and paid 50 with the same polish I pay a different price everytime

I am a regular at this place and generally love it. Yes sometimes they are really busy, but that is understandable. My experience has been that even when busy, still, they take time to make sure you are taken care of. Today, I had a special request to have my nails done as rainbow french tip and they did a phenomenal job! I would post a picture if I could, but google did not give me an option. They look sooooooooo gooooood! They also do a wonderful job with my gel pedicures. Both my manicure and pedicure usually last at least 3 weeks. I recommend this place.

This place is ridiculous. My mom and cousin kept telling me they dont do a good job. I decided to try it one more time. I got a shellac manicure and a pedicure. Two people worked at the same time on my mani/pedi, I was done in about 30 minutes. My cuticles looked horrible, I asked if she did them, she looked at them then did them very quickly after my polish was on, still looked horrible. My shellac on my nails lasted 3 days before it started peeling at the cuticles!!I will not go back to this salon and dont recommend it.

I have been here now twice. They spend no time getting rid of rough skin on your feet. I thought maybe last time I just had the wrong person. Both times I pointed out specific locations, paid for an upgrade to make sure the service I wanted was covered, and showed told them I wanted a better job. The kid today shrugged and said he couldnt help. Absurd prices for such poor quality service

I’ve gone to this place twice and yes they use sterile utensils but the quality is terrible. Eye brows were not even, my pedicure both times from two different employees were terribly done. I spent 61 dollars for a pedicure that I could of done better at home. When I pointed out the flaws in my pedicure they offered to fix it for an additional amount of money! DO NOT GO HERE, it’s a waste of money.

First time here and i was impressed by their beautiful and super clean salon. Its huge with many high quality modern chairs and equipment. The owner and staffs were really friendly, they greeted me with smiling faces and it made me feel very happy. I got a manicure and pedicure and both were excellent. The arm and leg massages were long and relaxing. The polish was applied perfectly. Love to be back!

Unfortunately this location is not customer service oriented. They just want to get you in and out as fast as possible. Quality of work is low and price is moderately high.Youd have to work to get a good tech.Dont pay the until youve taken a good look at your nails and are happy.

I don’t even want to give this spa 1 star. My daughter and I entered the spa which had very few staff members. No one asked us if we needed help or what service we needed. I had to ask someone there myself how long the wait was. They reluctantly replied 30 minutes and went about their work. We waited for the prescribed time plus some and still no one came to us. Eventually we left. The staff at this salon seriously need to learn some social skills. I would avoid going to this nail spa in the future.

I was doing some shopping in the area for my best friend and I spotted this salon. So, I decided to come here and get my manicure done. When I went in, I was amazed with how clean this salon is and how the nail techs here are very friendly. From what I could see, they clean their station after ever customer. Which I rarely see. But, when it was my turn, I sat down at a nail tech station and she started working on my nails. She was very gentle, she cut all my nails evenly and removed the cuticles from my nails without causing me to bleed. When she was done with that, I asked her if she could painted my nails a certain way and she listen without a problem. This is honestly the best services Ive ever received in a long time at any salon. Yeah, when she was done, I absolutely love how my nails look! It was so nice and pretty. Ill definitely be coming back here for sure the next time Im in the area! Ill also, be bring in more of my friends!

First time here and I can say it was a really good experience getting my manicure done here! The tech was really great! Very professional and sociable! She listen to all my requests and fulfilled each one perfectly! By the time she finish my nails were just stunning!! Each one was just beautiful! Really love the services here! Went here for the first time yesterday and it was a very pleasant experience! Pricing is the same here as almost every other nail salon I’ve been to in Denton. $35 for nexgen and $5 for stiletto shape. (Which is the same as everywhere else.) My nail tech Tony was awesome!!! He did my nails perfectly exactly how I wanted them! I always get the stiletto shape and I’ve had issues in the past at other places where the shape was more oval than stiletto but he did the shape perfectly and was quick about it at well. Will be recommending this place to my friends and family.

I’ve been here lots of times and we always had great service...however, not so much this time. It took an hour to be seated and then another hour until anyone started on our feet. It’s like we were totally ignored as soon as we walked I. The door. Plus, my gel manicure looked awful!! They didn’t have any of the that colors I chose in stock . Also. when I noticed the cotton fibers in the paint and crooked pointy nails, I asked him just to take it off and he wouldn’t. Of course, we were charged full price and I just wanted out of there. I give 2 stars because the ladies doing the pedicures were nice and my niece’s nails looked super cute. We won’t be back.

Can you say that this is is an amazing place. Well, I really can honestly say that Luxor Nails and Spa. I had an appointment to visit the Dentist a little later. An they really helped sat me down and serviced me! I was really happy with my manicure. they did an amazing job all even and perfectly painted. Not much i can complain about except why ever salon isnt like this one. Thank you for such a good time and amazing quick service!

Luxor has quickly became one of my favorite salons. I have been treated with nothing but kindness every time I have visited. Jack has done of fantastic job on my nails every time. He does a thorough job and I never have chipping or cracks which is a big issue I have had with other salons.My Nexgen nails look good for weeks!

Wow, this place was unbelievable. The salon had plenty of space and chairs. This was the best thing that I like about this salon. I never had to wait in line for my pedicure or manicure. I also didnt have to set an appointment in advance. Their chairs were also very comfortable. Besides, services at this place were the best. All of their technicians were professionals. I love this place my roommate and I go here every 2 weeks. We do our toes every other time and if we get there at a good time we get both at the same time and it xut as down on time. The staff is great and I love being able to drink wine while getting my nails done.

I love the staff and the atmosphere here. What I do not like is that for the past 3-4 months my nails have been breaking within a week of having them done. Im constantly having to go get nails fixed. There has to be a change of product because this never used to happen.

Love this place! I get the Nexgen nails. I am so glad they told me about them. My nails dont get damaged, and I dont have to use the UV light. The staff is great. I keep my nails long and the shape is hard to get just right, they always look amazing when I leave!

I just left the salon. It was visually appealing. All things clean. Great selection of gels, dips and polish. I was not very satisfied with yhe technician that assisted me however with my set as I got my pedicure. She kept insisting things other than what I originally requested . She even put a different color on in spite of me saying I only wanted white and because Im pressed for time, I was forced go keep it. Other than that, I enjoyed the experience.

This is honestly the best nail salon Ive been to in the Denton area. The inside of the place looks like a palace & everything is so clean & professional. They offer a nice variety of drinks as well! Pricing example: I paid $58.00 for a classic pedicure with gel polish. (Very standard). My nail tech, Michelle, is very nice & her lashes look great- they said they also offer lash services here as well. I loved the chandeliers! Will definitely be a repeat customer.

Owner had a horrible attitude she also overcharges decided to randomly add on $15 charge and a $10 charge for random reasons such as nail long and for shaping of the nails even though the original price of $35 was agreed for the total job. She even continue to be rude and not allow us to back out of the service and forced my wife to continue to sit there and pay for something she didnt want

Luxor Nails was suggested to me by a friend. Now this is the only place i go for my nails and waxing. They really care and shows in their work! I love them! I even bring my girls and my 2yr old grand baby....Luxor nails and staff are the best!

This is a very nice Nail Spa, nice atomosphere. I got the Nexen Nails, my eyebrows waxed and tinted. Ask for Vickie or Nancy (pregnant) they are both really good.

Every time i have come to have a nail service here i have been very pleased. The technicians are very nice and do a great job. The biggest compliment i can give to the salon is that it is extremely clean.

I am never someone to complain and am always very patient but this being the only thing I wanted out of this weekend after 64 hours of work last week alone I am pissed. Do not tell me it will be a 20 minute wait then have me sitting there for almost 2.5 hours. Absolutely ridiculous! 30 minutes of this sitting in a chair with my feet in ice cold water. I will never go here again, even people with appointments waited well over an hour.

Ive been here a few times. Ive only had one good nail tech. The last one, Jack, gave me one of the worst nail jobs Ive had. I had him redo part of it twice. My nails are too wide, thick, and ugly. Im going to another salon tomorrow. What a waste of time and money.

All of the other nail salons in Denton had bad reviews online and made me weary to try them. This place hasnt been open very long but I decided to give them a try. Im glad I did! Its a very large and spacious place, very luxurious. Their prices are very reasonable and they did a very good job. Every person that walked in the door was raving to the owner about how good of an experience they had had last time they were there and were happy to be back. This will be my go to place from now on.

This is my go to nail place for when i need them done fast for an event. I typically get a shellac manicure and pedicure. They get the job done quick, easy, relaxing and professional service.

I used to go to iNails & Spa in hickory creek but they started messing up with my nails so I went to Luxor Nails and I loved them ! The way they shaped my nails, they were thin and not bulky and had a really nice staff working . I got my nails done a few days ago and a few of them broke . I was kind of upset because they broke off quickly . I went to go get them fixed but the lady who did them told me I cant fix them, were busy. There was only 1 other person waiting and honestly how long does it take to fix a couple nails ? I asked her repeated if she could please do them, almost begging and she kept saying no . I was pissed . I paid $50 for a set and theu cant fix my nails when they get broken . Definitely wont go there again .

As far as my pedi and mani, the nails came out looking fantastic. I love my tech. She explained all the products they were going to put on me, and helped ease my worry about the scrubs, i have sensitive ski so i hate scrubs, but they used gentle one on me and it felt great! I will certainly come back here even though it is not next to my house.. Worth the drive.

I got my nails they weren’t how I liked, so I went back the next day to ask for a new set or a refund and they refused both, it escalated from there. I’ve been going there for months but now I will never return, they were very rude.

Physically assaulted by nail tech - I went to Luxor Nail Salon in Denton, TX today to get my NextGen nails soaked off and a basic manicure. Normal process is the nails are soaked in acetone to soften and then lightly dremeled. The nail tech grabbed my hand and stared dremeling right away on a high speed. She quickly went thru the nextgen thru my nail and to my nail bed. I tried to pull my hand away (natural reaction to pain) and the nail tech restrained my hand not allowing me to pull it away. I had to firmly tell her to let go of my hand so I could check the damage. My nail was bright red where the dremel burned thru and quite sensitive. I told the nail tech that I wasn’t in a hurry and that we needed to soak my nails versus trying to rush and dremel them off. She got a bowl of acetone and cotton, shoved my hands in it and walked away for a while. When she returned she roughly grabbed my hand out of the soak to show the tech next to her my nail she damaged. She then roughly shoved my hand back in the bowl. At this point I told her that I will just do the soak off and cancel the manicure since she was being rough and my finger hurt. She then grabbed my hand again out of the acitone and stared to manually file the nextgen off very roughly again. At this point I told her to stop and I would just be leaving. As I went to stand up to go to the counter to pay for my unfinished soak off, the nail tech GRABBED my arm firmly and literally and physically restrained me from walking away. Trying to pull my arm out of her firm grasp I clinched my fist and told her “If you do not let me go, I’m going to pop you in the face”...... not a single other tech or customer there said a thing as she was still physically holding my arm. I am not a big person. I’m 5’1 and 110lbs. And this nail tech was grabbing me not letting me leave squeezing and pulling my left forearm. I finally pulled it out of her grasp (or she let go, I’m not sure) and I went to the door. Another tech said to me “oh she’s sorry, she didn’t mean to do it”. A few words were exchanged basically them saying it wasn’t a big deal and I left. I came home and told my husband what happened. He called the salon and asked to talk to the manager, he wasn’t available and we were told he was at their Cedar Hills store. He asked for a call back from the manager. The same lady called back 10 min later and said the manager wasn’t available and the nail tech was just trying to get me to stay to finish my service that it wasn’t a big deal. Needless to say, due to their lack of acknowledging this IS a big deal and you can’t physically restrain and assault their customers and police report was filed. I have been going to this same nail salon for 3 years. They know who I am. I fill out the sheet with my name, email and phone number every time. They send me coupons. Not a single call from the manager. I am appalled. Being a survivor of pervious violent physical and sexual abuse I was at first embarrassed that I allowed myself to be victimized again. But I have had to sit the embarrassment aside and speak up to the appalling situation that occurred in hopes that this women is not allowed to do this to another customer.

If i could put 0 stars it would be great. I came in with the thought that i was going to have a great experience. I wanted the classic ombre nails. I paid 55$ for the set and before i left i specifically told them i wasnt happy with how they were done and he said that they were going to look pretty with the clear gel. Well a couple of days after i left i went to change my pants and my nail broke as i was pulling them up. This should not have happened. I warn any futre customers not to come here ever again! I assure that i will never come back here. Cheap product isnt worth 55$
