Excellent service and really friendly mail techs. Will definitely go back!

I got my nails done on Friday 5/7, today is the Monday 5/10. Two of my nails have just broken, with no force caused. They were shaved so thin— he shaved both sides of the nail (on top & underneath!). They also weren’t fully painted— you can see spots through each nail because they’re missing paint. Absolutely ridiculous, and I do not plan on returning.

I went to this salon to get my nails done a couple of months ago before a business trip. The guy did my nails (powder) it did not look right to me but I had to leave. Finally when I made it back home I went back to the nail salon and the lady charged me to re-do the nails (She could clearly see the thickness of the powder) She did a good job. About 3 weeks later I went to have them removed she was not available so the guy had me soak my nails to removed the powder. Then he used the file drill to remove the rest of the powder. It was so hot I had to snatch my hand away not once but twice. I was so mad after I left I notice my nails where so sensitive to the touch. Its been about 4 weeks and Im still pealing left over powder from my thumb nail. My nails are damaged and still red in some places They look horrible. They are still healing so I cant get anything done at this point. Mind you that was the first time in about 2 years that I got my nails done. So this experience at that shop needless to say was not good.

I had nexgen. The lady doing my nails was nice but the job she did was beyond horrendous. My nails are LUMPY, uneven and she superglued the tips of my fingers to my nails. THEN she charged me $5 more than the listed price...even though I had to go to another salon to have them done right. AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE. They shouldnt be in business!!!Today, 5/14/2021, i was sent an email asking for a response to their reply. It was apparently the same generic response they send everyone who filed a complaint.(see the complaints, this is standard practice at this establishment) I attached pictures. I am sorry ladies, but if your normal nail salon (nail bar of Denton) does amazing work, for a fraction of the cost, but happens to be super busy...wait!!! They are busy because they are good at what they do! In the last 24 hours, it has cost me $88 for a standard nexgen set of nails. This does NOT nclude the tip and i had to tip generously because ELITE NAILS superglued the tips of my fingers to the nail to avoid water getting in there. They have NO CLUE as to what they are doing. Im seriously mad about this and it takes ALOT to piss me off. Save yourself the money and just dont go here. There are plenty of other salons with a liquor license. This place needs to be shut down on incompetence alone.

So disappointed! I’ve been going here for years! After two different people, my toes still turned out like this. Grrr! I’m hurting and the paint is terrible. Only expressing my frustration, to each their own.

I really like this place plus they serve drinks never seen it in any other nail shop...a little pricey but worth it besides the hours are great for late wokers...

They were friendly. Great conversation. Offered water. They did a fantastic job. They even gave me a birthday gift. Very sweet, honest, genuine people.

I got acrylics and an eyebrow wax. The staff was nice but the man who did my nails frequently interrupted me and my nails look horrible. I honestly want to cry. I never get my nails done because its expensive and now I dont even know if Ill get them done ever again

The lady with the blonde streaks did very good on my 2 nieces . Wasn’t able to get her name . The guy who serviced me, for one, cut my nails so short they were burning. 2, he did not use a plastic on the tub which WERE provided on my nieces. 3, he did a horrible job on the paint job. I don’t want to go back but if I did I would recommend the young lady with the blonde streaks.UPDATE: I told the lady I was unsatisfied and asked her if SHE could re do his work tomorrow since they were closed. She reassured she’d do it now and she did. I appreciate her work very much .

This was my worse experience ever in life. I went to get my eyebrows waxed. I was taken to a room in the back and asked to lay back on the table. As soon as I laid back the top end of the table collapsed and I went sliding backwards onto the floor. I managed to finally get up and my back and hips are so sore I had to call off from work. They apologized but I heard her and some guy that worked there laughing about it. Then the guy asks me how much do I weigh trying to be funny. I didn’t find that funny at all. I proceeded to get my service done and she butchered my brows by the way and still made me pay after that fiasco. Needless to say, I will be seeing my dr in the morning.

The first time I came here the two ladies who did my nails did a great job, they looked beautiful and lasted a long time. The second time I came here I had the gentleman that works there do my nails. First of all, I just wanted to relax and he would NOT STOP TALKING. Then he was more interested in what was happening on the TV than the work he was doing. Once I got home I noticed one of my nails had a small imperfection but I could live with it. Then a few hours later on one of my other nails part of the gel had already peeled off...safe to say I am not impressed with this visit and probably wont be going back.

The place is good and clean. People are so friendly and like a family. She helps me that she cut my enroll nails. Ill definitely come back to this place

I went to Elite Nails on Friday evening, and spoke to the receptionist about receiving a refill service with and getting one nail fixed. The receptionist asked Thomas (the nail tech) for pricing of the service. I was “quoted” $25. $25 sounded great, so I processed with the service, but sadly to say, at the end of the service, my nails looked worse then when I came in. Thomas was extremely nice and talkative, but I later found out it was only to cover up the fact that he cannot do nails. Although I came in with my nails already perfectly pre-shaped from another nail salon, Thomas left my nails looking boxy, with extra acrylic around the cuticle, and lumpy polish. Thomas insisted on up selling what looked to be a homemade cuticle oil, of which I refused to purchase on several occasions. When I got to the counter, I was charged $30, after being quoted $25. On Sunday I went back to the nail salon, and after having a heated discussion with the owner (Emma) regarding why I needed my nails fixed, Emma told me she would “quickly” fix my nails, and would charge me an extra $10 to remove and reapply the polish.To make matters worse, the owner didn’t have any procedures in place to encourage social distancing or reduce the spread of COVID. I was at the salon for over an hour and watched as she went from customer to customer without sanitizing the station, and sitting customer at every booth next to one another. This business is clearly only open to make money, and is notconcerned about it’s customers. The customer service was ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE! The service was TERRIBLE!!! I WILL NEVER EVER EVER EVER return to this nail salon again.

Great experience. Took my three year old daughter and wife and they took wonderful care of all of us. My feet typically get really dried out and hurt a lot. My feet feel like I’m walking on a cloud. They were so good with my daughter and she keeps staring at her nails and showing them off to us. Will definitely be returning!

This place is cool the lady that did my nails did a good job but slight confusion on what I wanted at first. Also the young lady that did my toes did a great job and was really sweet. I didn’t like how the women who did my nails was basically begging for me to review this place and they literally have signs on their TV’s for google reviews I understand but when I am at the nail shop I want to relax not be begged to review the place this is what earned them 4 stars.

They are extremely friendly people! This was my family and I first time here and they took very good care of us from the moment we walked in the door. Our nails and toes came out lovely we will be coming back again next month.

Been going here for awhile for both my nails and my daughters. Always satisfied, never had a long wait. Angie is my preferred technician. She does beautiful work, and shes so quick. I think shes the best in the shop, and will wait to have her work on me if Im not in a hurry.

Came because Happy nails were busy. The whole entire time the lady kept recommending something else besides what I kept asking for. Nails were 45 and checked my bank and was charged 54. Never again.

Angie is an amazing technician for acrylic, I told her exactly what I wanted and she did just that. I came close to closing time and she still attended me with a smile and made me feel welcomed. Ill be coming to her from now on!

For the past 2 months I have made this my go to nail salon. The staff is so nice and being on my feet all day at work and walking around on campus having a relaxing pedicure with an amazing foot massage is always nice. I have brought many friends with me and they all loved their nails. I get dip on my nails and they do not budge! Also a glass a wine with it makes it that much better.

My two sisters and I went to Elite Spa & Nails on 1/25/20 and all got acrylics with dip in different shapes and shades. My first sisters nails look great and are the exact shade of lavender she wanted and the exact shape, rounded square, she asked for. Ther man who did them seemed really nice so I was happy that he was doing mine because it was my first time ever getting acrylics and doing anything other than just polish. I asked for this really pretty matte olive green on shorter stilettos and my youngest sister asked for a light blue and silver glitter accent nail with rounded squares. Both mine and my youngest sisters manicures were extremely rushed and poorly done. Not only did my color turn ot WAY different, theyre also lumpy and thick. My sisters are insanely square and also shotty. Id give them one star but they did good on my other sisters.

This is a wonderful salon, the owners and their girls who work there are very much the perfectionists, complimentary water, wonderful pedicures, clean, very attentive to the clients. They are sometimes so busy people have to come back they are so popular. Well worth the wait and I have been coming to this salon since I moved to Texas 4 years ago. They family owned operation is very friendly, funny and a joy to spend time with.

I’ve been going here for awhile and I’m finally switching. I’ve never been super impressed with their acrylic nails. I decided to try dip and I’ll never do it again. The owner ended up doing my nails and he’s sweet but they turned out horribly. It wasn’t done evenly so there crooked and there’s light spots where he took the powder off. I’m completely unimpressed.

The quality is wonderful, but they totally just scammed me... I just got my nails done Thursday (11th of Dec) and the color started just fading. It was gel nail the same thing I get every time, but I had went to a different place. I decided to go here because I used to go to this one and knew they were good. Any issues Ive had before they fix it quickly and dont add on any fishy stuff or try to get me to do other stuff I didnt ask for. All I wanted was for 2 nails to be fixed and to redo the gel paint. They took an hour and then charged me 35 dollars for a complete new set which I did not get. They must have new management or something because the ladies I usually deal with there are always talkative and make me feel at home, but these ladies were making me feel bad for not getting a pedicure. I had about 30 minutes to spare and didnt have to time for it at the moment. I ended being there an hour anyways.They would never make me pay for a new set unless thats what I asked for. Im livid that they scammed me and dont suggest going there for any issues for your nails because they will overcharge you and take forever.

I got the gel nails which cost extra and are suppose to last longer and Ive been having nothing but problems with them falling off. I went the next day and got one of them fixed with no problems and was very happy. The next day came and two more fell off so I went in to try to get them fixed, the lady was very rude to me stating that they didnt have time to help me and to come back in an hour. So I come back an hour later and Im told to wait ANOTHER hour. When I question this the lady starts demeaning me telling me Im doing something wrong and I would need to pay if it happens again. Not an apology or anything. I would have had better luck with regular nail polish, never in my life have I ever had this much problems with keeping gel nails on. Dont spend the extra because it seems to just give you extra problems. I dont recommend this place

I came here after having my nails completely messed up at another nail salon in Denton. Angie did an amazing job and was extremely nice and accommodating.Im a hairstylist and will be recommending the salon and Angie to all of my clients, she has just gained the business for my entire family.

I came here because Happy nail tech moved away down on loop 288. I had used them in the past and thought they were a bit pricey. The entire time I was there they only had 2 other customers. They offer you alcohol and initially I thought that was considerate, then noticed they pushed it on every other customer as well, as if that was the only way they can make money. I paid $200 for services I can get elsewhere for half the price and much better quality. How this place stays open is beyond me, never make this mistake again, oh and she cut 4 of my fingers and toes. Heavy handed, minimal talent at maximum price.

Never again. These people don’t listen, they’re unnecessarily put off the moment something is wrong, and they may try to scam you. They butchered my friend’s toes the day before her wedding by dremeling gel polish off due the tech choosing the wrong color. She had no warning, and her toes were literally bleeding when he finished.

After two bad experiences I had only returned to have my nails repaired. Although walking in the store I was angry that I had paid for nails that were tearing my hands up. The woman who repaired my nails actually did a complete new set and was very kind unlike the other gentlemen who has previously help me in this establishment before. I will definitely come back but only to see her and have her do my nails.

I asked for ombré NexGen nails. The man who did them, did them very uneven. The dip did not start at the base of the nail bed and went up an 1/8 of an inch on my nail in some areas. When the nails were dremelled, the ombré became very uneven and showed white at the base of my nails and along the sides instead of a nice transition from pink to white. When I told him that it was not right, he tried to tell me that that’s just how they are. The woman who came to fix them did a great job in a short amount of time, but I have cuts all around my cuticles due to having to have it redone and basically start over from bare nail. My pedicure was ok, but the same man rubbed my foot too hard with the pumice and cut the back of my heel. Unfortunately I will not be back.

I am new to the area and Elite is the salon everyone kept urging me to tryout. I am very happy to say that I can see what all the talk was about! The salon was very elegant with complimentary drinks of all kinds and the staff was the part that made the experience the best, they really made me feel comfortable and relaxed by the time I left. I got a gel manicure and pedicure...there were many options and colors, I cannot wait to come back again!

Clean,was able to get right in! Only complaint i have is i got my daughter the kids manicure but asked for gel polish and the up charge for that was $13... Lil pricey for an upcharge...

This place was terrible. I asked for one thing and they gave me something completely different. While they were doing my nails, I asked if they were putting on the next gen because that is what I specifically wanted. The guy straight up lied to my face and said yes and then I found out later he was giving me solar acrylic. Thank goodness they were the same price or I would have demanded a refund. I called and they were very unapologetic and told me to clarify next time (even though I did!! Before they started and during).

This place is very nice with a marvelous customer service, love it 🤗

Seeing as most of the negative reviews are over 2 years old I can attest to them being outdated and invalid. I went today and got my nails done. Kim, who seems to be running the show there was very attentive even though she was very busy. I am always very indecisive and Kim did not seem to have any trouble helping me decided what I should get for my birthday. She brought me a margarita which is comped, she continually asked if I liked my nails, I did. And at the end she gave me a $10 discount because it was my birthday! Now this isnt super high end but it is clean and nicely decorated inside (not cheap looking). They have a full bar and I would say this is the best nail salon experience I have had in Denton.

The absolute worst nail spa I have ever been to. The workers are rude and they did a terrible job on mine and my daughters nails. I spent $120 on our gel manicures and pedicures. My nails had to be redone 1 day later and my daughters manicure peeled off 2 days after being done. They wanted to charge me when we went in to have her nails redone. After they finally agreed to redo her nails she came home with them peeling off again in less than 4hr. What a terrible place and with such unethical business owners.

This was my first time here and my nails are horrible. I’ve had SOLAR ACRYLIC for 5 days and nails aren’t on properly and are constructed poorly. Would not issue a refund.Save your money and go somewhere else that does QUALITY nails.

These people are RACIST. I asked for a regular pedicure the grandma then gave me a mud pedicure (after I pointed to a regular pedicure on the sheet). I IMMEDIATELY advised that this is not what I asked for but she insisted that it was and would call the cops if I didn’t pay the extra 30 dollars. When I advised that I knew her daughter was working in this place WITHOUT A LICENSE she changed her tune. These ppl are not board certified and use intimidation tactics to upcharge you on services. I really do not feel that she wouldn’t have threatened to call the cops if I wasn’t a WOC. Stay away from this place!

Worst experience of my life this lady made my sister cry horrible service would not give a refund yelled at my sister while she was holding her child when my sister was speaking to her in a calm voice never raised her voice I asked for the owners number multiple times DO NOT GO HERE

I went here on a monday and i was not happy with the final result, they were not what i wanted at all and the quality is horrible. they promised they would last a month and the very next day 2 of my nails cracked and then 2 days after that they fell off. i do have a job but i’m not rough on my nails. I DO NOT recommend this place. Also they filed my nails so much they hurt very bad for the next couple of days and this isn’t the first time i’ve gotten them done so they shouldn’t have hurt like that. i will never go back to this place.

My friend and i went in for manis. I get french tip acrylic. They were so thick and uneven i had to ask them to touch them up twice. The top coat is peeling off after 3 days. They also made me bleed! I wish i could attach a pic to show everyone.

Customer Service here ROCKS!!!!! My bestfriend and I went on a Tuesday, a couple of days before my bday,, and I left a happy customer! I received a deluxe mani/pedi with the nextgen dip powder, they massaged my feet, legs, and hands after soaking scrubbing and grooming...ALL WHILE IN A MASSAGE CHAIR!!!!! My favorite nail shop in Denton! The guy that worked on my manicure had me laughing and was very friendly. I really appreciated the service. I plan on returning, for sure!

Worst place ever I came in wanting a gel full set and they kept wanting me to get powder instead after sooooo much insisting I said fine ill get the powder. The lady that did my nails said she had been working for a long time that she knew everything about nails and she did the worst job ever!😠 she left them looking thick as hell and all uneven she kept coughing and couldnt concentrate so she left them all bad ended up paying 60$ for this horrible service... make yourself a big favor and do not even think about getting your nails dne at this place!!

Angie does the best nails she’s fast accurate and very kind & the other techs are very nice and do great nails every time. Tommy on the other hand has always been rude and can’t do nails for anything. He got arcylic all over my hands and tells me to wash my hands so I do and it all wouldn’t come off and this guy tells me I’m dirty? Because the arcylic didn’t come off...and the whole time he’s doing my nails he made racist slurs against Mexican and black peoples which both my husband and I felt was offensive. I have came here for a while and I’ve had a great experience every time except for the past two times I got stuck with tommy. I will not be coming back to this shop thanks to Tommy.

I love this spa! I dont understand all the negativity! This is a family owned spa and the girls are amazing! Sometimes the chairs have issues, but thats the only negative i could find.

$17 dollars for the worst manicure Ive ever had. Walked in after shopping next door with my own polish in hand. I needed a nice clean up of my cuticles maybe a relaxing hand massage and a paint job. I was seated right away near the door and told them I just needed a manicure and I had my own polish. The technician brought over a wooden bowl of soapy water and took one look at my red nails and said oh this is a hard polish hold on he went to the back and grabbed acetone and then sat back down. He proceeds to remove my polish and berating me for having yellowed nails (due to the fact that I usually paint my nails at home and never use a base coat because who has time for that? I also live for red nail polish) I told him it didnt bother me and my nails were healthy. This is why you shouldnt do them at home. OK dude I get it. I will also mention that his hands were covered in acrylic pieces which he spent most of the manicure picking off. Then he starts my cuticle work clipping them pretty short leaving visible hunks of skin missing around my nails. He then sprays my hands with what I assume is alcohol? During the manicure I will say homeboy was really chatty talking about everything under the sun including but not limited to the hurricane. conspiracy theories about the hurricane. my marital status. domestic violence. suicide and depression. Now comes the polish. I brought in my own which is a gel polish (ish) that needs no top coat and lasts 2 weeks (wet n wild anyone? Seriously my favorite) and I tell him it needs no top coat but it needs some drying time between coats. He thickly applies the polish leaving no time for it to dry between coats and then puts my hands in front of a fan and walks away. Two minutes later he comes back with an almost empty bottle of lotion. He pulls my arms from the fan and starts pumping the lotion on my arms. It runs out so he unscrews the top and rubs the pump stick onto my arm... then he massages my arms little flakes of acrylic that are still stuck to his skin intermingling with my arm hair (sexy..) then he tells me were done and proceeds to walk to the register and wait. Nails still very wet. Hands dry from acetone and with my newly acrylic chunk adornments on my arm I precariously pull out my card and reluctantly pay the man. Heres the sum up. Maybe he was having an off day. Maybe they tossed a less experienced person my way due to the simplicity of a manicure. But my hands were never massaged. my cuticles were never oiled and my nails were destroyed by the time i got to the car not to mention the huge polish bubbles caused by laying it on a little thick. I was so disappointed. Now Im going to be real with you. Im not expecting gold flake Instagram worthy nails with Prosecco filled crystal glasses and Enya playing in the background while sexy pool boys fan me with palms but when I get a manicure I expect to feel well groomed and relaxed when I leave. this did not happen. I went home and took off the terrible paint job. Oiled my poor cuticles poured myself a glass of wine and repainted my nails. So save your money people and go somewhere else. Or you could just do a DIY and hire your own pool boys. Its up to you.

Best place ever. I drive all the way to Denton from Flowermound to go here. My accrylic lasts the longest it ever has. They serve complimentary drinks and the family that works there is incredibly sweet and fun to talk to.

Walked in and the place has nail clippings everywhere. First bad sign. My wife asks the technician to please be gentle her nails are thin. The technician says you pick on me? You hit the road. Goodbye. Bad sign number two. she asked politely as she does everywhere. Ask to talk to owner, well the tech is the owner! Bad sign number three. Avoid this place like the plague! Very unclean and horribly rude service not even considerate for potential new clients. Goodbye indeed!

Went here with 3 other friends and the entire staff was overly accomadating. I live in Dallas but Im going to be making the trip down to Denton just to come get my nails did here, that should say enough!

The first time I went, she did my nails super thick and it looked horrible after a week. When I went to have them taken off, she did not get all of the old nail off and then just painted over it. She left my nails crooked and uneven and the color she did was not the color I wanted. She messed up on two nails and then didnt even fix it! My gel color looks splotchy, uneven and is now peeling on one side-- I literally got them done less than an hour ago.

Good experience the first time, ok the 2nd time,3rd time AWFUL.The owner/tech was a rude,obnoxious,and bossy lil man .After talking down to me while he was prepping my nails for gel,I said You know what? I dont need this and stopped him,I waited for my daughter and got out of there.As i waited he asked you want other lady,she do gel?no thx.Other tech did a good job on my daughters, $50 for gel,ridic.But at least she was very nice.

Men are welcome, unlike other nail salons in this area. And they provide a selection of adult beverages at no extra charge.
