Very disappointed in this place its usally ok ! My mom got a pedicure that was awful her polish rubbed off a hour after we left . They refuse to put sparkles on my manicure and my pedi and mani paint job was awful .

So I moved over off of loop 288 and I’m looking for a new nail salon. And I can tell you that this is NOT the place. I went in 30 minutes after they opened thinking that I would have a nice experience. I got a deluxe pedicure. I had a man(was never told his name) who proceeded to try and be snappy and demanding with me. I then asked him if he could do multiple colors and he was so annoyed. I then snapped at him and told him off. He was really nice after that of course 🙄. I felt very uncomfortable the whole time and should have left initially. Way over priced as well!!! Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone!

They really made me pay 65 for this nails my mom got so mad they probably saw me that I was young bc I was nervous but I’m pretty sure this is not worth 65$ I could of gotten it done my someone else more cheaper

I went to get nails with Ruby for my birthday, and she made all my nail dreams come true! I asked her for a full cow print set, but instead of black spots I wanted hot pink. They came out beautiful! I definitely recommend calling ahead for an appointment with ruby as she is in high demand.

This place is such a great and clean environment. The atmosphere is relaxing! They’re very welcoming and always ask if you’re like a drink. They are helpful if you need help picking designs or colors (which they have a huge, organized selection of). Michael did an amazing job in my acrylic on my first visit but the two visits after were less than desirable services. They lack consistency on the quality of their work. If I don’t like it and I tell you, don’t justify the mistake, fix it.

As soon as we walked in we were greeted by almost the entire staff. Everyone was friendly. We were offered complimentary drinks as we got our pedicure. My nail tech was Thai, and he took his time with my pedicure and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. He was super friendly and did a good job on my nails. This was my first time coming here, and I will definitely be coming back.

I came here with group friend of mine for a pedicure and manicure. We made an appointment for 11 people and turn out everybody was loving it. The staffs are very professional and talented. Thanks for giving us a really good treat! Also I loved my nails as well.

Honestly really disappointed with my nails. I have had a good experience with this salon in the past but this time was not good. The girl who did my nails did not seem very experienced. She put two extremely thin and uneven coats of gel polish on my nails and it was really patchy so I asked for a third to make it even but it was still thin and not applied well. Within 12 hours, two of them cracked. It has been less than 4 days and I could understand a little chip here or there but they are all messed up and one completely peeled off. The only reason Im giving 3 stars is because a different woman did my eyebrows and honestly did a great job.

I usually always see Ruby, she is always wonderful and does an amazing job! I will only come to this salon as several other salons in Denton were completely sub-par to this salon. I have never had bad service here, and if there are any issues that come up with my nails or anything, they are quick and eager to resolve it and have always been super kind, friendly, welcoming, and just awesome attitudes. I love this place and cant recommend them enough.

I brought my girlfriend here to get her nails done. Im really impressed with the services they offered and how friendly these staffs are. Even though Im not taking any service but they still offered me a drink while I was waiting. Turnout my girlfriend is very happy with her nails. We were also one of the luckiest customers where we can pick a Xmas card on the tree for a small gift from the salon. They made our day and definitely back soon!

Well, I kind of like this place. They make very good nails. I highly recommend this place. They have so many colors and the staffs are friendly. I love this place more than my third husband.

I hated going to this place. I showed up 2 hours before closing and ended up staying 30 minutes after they closed. We were given poor attitudes and the only thing that seemed to be on the workers minds were to get off as soon as possible. I received the wrong color and shape and I also asked for an acrylic set and was given a dip set then was charged for a dip set. I spoke to my nail tech about it because I tried making sure in the middle of her doing my nails that they were indeed acrylic even though she was using the dipping powder and even after reassuring me she argued in the end that I had to pay for the service I received instead of what I asked for. I was met with impatience, attitude, lack of care, and the utmost disrespect. I will definitely never be back after speaking with the manager.Side note: I saw no disinfecting or cleaning in the entirety of the time I spent there, taking no precautions or following no rules or regulations to prevent the spread of COVID.

I never get my nails done because I work with my hands so much but this week Im on vacation so I decided to get them done and try something new and I am glad I did! My nails and toe nails turned out perfect!Edit: I came back a second time to this place because Ive never had my nails last longer than 2 weeks but my nails lasted me a month and a half after this place did my nails! This time my nails look even better than last time. I get the dip powder that glows in the dark and i have gotten so many compliments already.

The first time I went I thought they did an amazing job! But I was so wrong!!! I got short nails and was charged $60 but the girl next to me got the same length as well as gel and was charged $40. The last time I went I got my nails a lot longer and was charged $60 so I don’t understand why I was charged the same price with short nails! Also my nails are super splotchy. I got them done yesterday and it looks like I have had them on for a week because there is no polish near my cuticles. The lady did a very sloppy job I am very disappointed and will be going to another shop this week to get them redone!

This place is great! I got a deluxe pedicure and a Nexgen manicure for $75 (I got 10% student discount). The pedicure is perfect, the lady offered me a 5mins extra massage for my first time pedicure ever. They have so much Nexgen colors that I cant make decision. I finally go with my favorite colors. Definitely be backed soon!

This place is amazing!!! They take real good care of you first of all, and they are good listeners, if you want your nails done a certain way they know exactly how do to do them. I am never waiting longer then about 10 min. Of course I would book an appointment though. Jacob is very fast and does the nails perfectly, but my person is ANA she is perfection. Does the nails perfect every time and she is very sweet. Ana is the one I will always go to.

Great experience! The receptionist was awesome! He greeted me by name and always knew I liked coffin tips. The spa offers drinks, your choice of soda or water. My tech was Mike..even though they were busy all day, he made me feel like I was the only client..I have have mani, pedi and facial done here. I feel amazing!!

First time going to this place. The staff seem friendly but do rush job, my nails look horrible and lumpy and she wasn’t trying to hear anything I said instead jerking my hands to do nails! I also had my eyebrows waxed in which she took off half the damn eyebrow on both sides. I’m furious and unhappy. I definitely wouldn’t recommend them. I like trying new spots but this was by far the worst quality for your money. I recommend luxury nail by Burger King I will return there!

Absolutely amazing! I had extra long nails and forgot I was moving the following week and broke 3 nails. They cut them shorter and gave me 3 new nails for only 5$. They are incredibly sweet to their customers!

I went here with my friend and the lady that did my friends nails did a horrible job. She didn’t give her what she asked for and her nails were all different lengths and uneven. Then she asked for her money back and they refused. Neither of us are ever coming here again.

Just when I began losing all hope in finding a new nail tech, this place was the light at the end of the tunnel. I was recommended by a friend because my old nail tech retired and I was freaking out because I had yet to find anyone good.First off, Mike is amazing! He is so friendly, attentive, hard working, and you can tell he actually cares about his customers. This was my first time getting dip powder and he was wonderful for explaining it to me from start to finish. My nails turned out amazing and I will most definitely be returning. Second, the wait time was a bit excessive, but I was a walk in so it wasnt a big deal for me since I had nothing going on the rest of the day and he did have to help customers check in and out. The atmosphere was very relaxing and even the other customers there were very friendly. Lastly, I will be returning again for the dip powder and a pedicure. I can assure you that the reviews are accurate. I really enjoyed my experience here and the process was very smooth and comfortable.Great customer service and affordable! I cant wait to get a pedicure when I go in for my next nail appointment! A+++

Fantasy Nails is by far the best nail salon Ive ever been. The whole staff is very professional and nice. The service is excellent. My nails are always last at least 3 weeks. I recommend any and everyone to come to Fantasy Nail Salon. You will be satisfied !

Service is nice. The workers are very very friendly and aim to please.My 2 star review is based on my pedicure polish not even lasting a full day. I was in there yesterday (June 27, 2020) and this pic is from today June 28. I wore flips flops home and all I have been doing is watching Netflix, I havent done anything at all that shouldve taken off the polish and sticky tape pattern, not even wear a sock. They painted the color I chose, and then when they werent able to paint on a cheetah pattern they used some sticky pattern tape that already had a cheetah pattern on it. I already need a polish change 24 hours later. 😢

If I could give 0 stars I would, I welt a few weeks ago to get a new set and was very disappointed. I went a few years ago and loved the service and work, but not so much in my most recent visit. Jacob did my set and it was very rushed, the work was horrible, the shape of the nails was off, all the acrylics were crooked, I mean it was BAD, and he gave me an attitude when I nicely asked him to fix a nail because it was obviously super crooked and when taking it off he was very rough, he seemed more interested in being on his phone than joking a good job. and even the lady made a face when she looked at the nails when I was paying. I payed and left, but I will most certainly never be going back here again and you should do the same, but if you must go do not let Jacob do your set. The worst service I have EVER had done.

I’ve been coming here every 2-3 weeks for over 4 years for the Fantasy pedi and dip nails. Great nail techs and friendly staffs. Rarely do my nails chip but on the one to two times I chipped my nails, they always take care of me

Update 11/17/18 came back because they gave me a gift card for the mess up last time. Got a pedicure water was freezing cold had to get that fixed started talking in another language when I requested for warm water makes you very uncomfortable sorry hot water is such an inconvenience to you. Then the lady forgot to cut and file my right foot she started the massage I asked can you clean up this foot gave me attitude like she was about to do it before I said anything. No you just forgot. And she cut the side of my toe... so instead of saying sorry let’s dump alcohol on it. Still not a good experience. This will be the last time I come here.Do not get your eyebrows waxed here. Came a month ago had skin ripped off I had scabs on my face for 3 weeks. Then I went back saw someone else (she had no idea what she was doing) messed up my eyebrows so bad I had to take the tweezers from her hands and start to work on it myself. Then someone more experienced came in and tried to fix it... still awful. And still charged me for it. The pedicure wasn’t awful. But they don’t listen. Asked for my nails to be cut in a certain way she didn’t understand English that well.. so i was ignored. I would rather wait for someone who knew what they were doing then go through this

Meet Mike, one of my favorite people. Mike keeps my nails healthy, strong and LONG! Check him out for the best dip in town and laughs because he is super nice. When he does my nails, they never chip or crack and my nail bed remains healthy. Yeah!

I didn’t know this place was so close to where I live until I was looking for a new nail salon. The owner is so sweet! The prices are very fair. They do take a little longer, but it’s only because they do high quality work. I’ve been multiple times and I was always pleased. They make sure you love your nails before you walk out the door. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Been there three times, each time my nails were phenomenal! I had the same guy every time, very sweet, but every time I left bleeding a little. Im a whiney baby over pain so sadly I wont be going again. Aside from that, theyre great & very nicely priced! If you have a decent tolerance for pain then I definitely recommend!

First time at this nail salon. I googled them because my nail shop happened to be closed today, so I went to Fantasy Nails because of the reviews. The tech who did my pedicure was wonderful. The tech, who did my full set, not so much. I believe she may have been the owner. I told her, before she got started, that when I get full sets they use the toenail tips on my thumbs because I have HUGE nail beds. She said okay and proceeded. As she was putting the tips on I was just looking to see if they were on correctly, as you would when you want things done right, she got mad. She argued with me that the people whove done it before at the other nail salon was doing it wrong and she knows what she is doing. I told her I didnt say she didnt know what she was doing I told her I was making sure I liked what she was doing and if I didnt, it would be my right to say so. It rubbed me the wrong way and I wont be back. I know that every nail salon and techs have different ways of doing nails, obviously, but I didnt like the fact that you cannot challenge the way they are doing your nails. They are providing a service. I wasnt rude, hell I didnt even say anything, I was just looking.

The gentleman that did my manicure made my nails beautiful! These are the thinnest, shiniest, dip powder nails I have ever had. I also love that this salon uses a soft drill bit instead of gouging at my cuticles with clippers. Super nice staff and great nail techs!

This nail salon had many professional staffs who were very friendly and took their time on customers. They cleaned up the tools that had been used for previous customers and that made me feel very safe about this place. The lady who worked on my nails was excellent and knew what she was doing. She gave me such a great Manicure and Pedicure ever. So love it. The price was a good deal for such a good works and great services. Every time I come and get a pedicure they do a great job. No matter who helps me it’s an equally pleasant experience and it’s really worth what you pay. At other salons you have to pay at least $55 for a package with hot rocks and here I can get it for $45 plus a bunch of other cool things. They take their time and I always appreciate their level of detail. Love this place!

The service was great. They took me in 10 minutes before closing. I had Mike do my nails. He took a full hour doing my manicure. He did not rush while the rest of the staff was picking up. I definitely got my moneys worth. I was reluctant to go there and I will be going back.

I came here on a weekend morning and had a great experience!Mike did the nexgen for me in about an hours (not bad) and didn’t feel rush at all. They have lot of color options and it took me forever to decide but he was very patient with me.I went pretty much as soon as the place opened in the morning and the salon filled up pretty quickly but I didn’t have to wait at all. Nice and clean overall. 10/10 recommended!

I arrived 5 minutes prior to my appointment I made online i waited for 25 minutes after my appointment Tims had passed but was finally seated and then left for another 10 minutes. I left, no one said anything or seemed to care at all. Needed a new nail shop in denton. Wont be back ever.

I just went there to get a full set and pedicure this morning. When I walked in, it smelled like food as the lady had food in her mouth. I was asked right away if I wanted “dip” and I never said yes. I got escorted to the pedicure area and then they both decided to perform services on me at the same time. Everything was going okay at first until I had my fingers glued to the nails underneath. I caught myself pulling them apart myself.. also I got cut pretty bad on my ring finger. My nails are crooked and bumpy. My nails are also stained on the sides from the dip. The ladies were very nice but the service was horrible.. I’m not too vocal when it comes to my nails until I cry in my car. Also my toe nails aren’t fully painted and have nail polish left on skin. I spent a total of 83$ for this... I really want my money back because I’m at CVS getting tools to fix it myself. Happy Valentine’s Day to me... I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

ASK FOR ANA OR MIKE!! I got a different lady and not only did she cut me 2 times and glued my hand to her hand at one point, she glued the tips on at the very tip of my nail and put them on uneven and crooked and and the dip powder was messy and air bubbly she didnt look like she knew what she was doing. She kept putting the drill over my skin and leaving it on too long and i had to stop her when she was almost done shaping then and they were almost all crooked uneven or facing off to the side. So another lady came to fix it which took forever and didnt really fix the problem but made it manageable. She is going to fix my set in a week for free. She was very nice. But I saw the work the other two were doing and all 4 clients work looked amazing and they were very skilled so ask for them! Not a bad place just one really bad incident!

Came in today to have my nails redone first all they was kinda rude. All she done was take the powder coat off. Didnt take the nails off to redo the whole set. She reshape the old set done them the color I wanted but after all said and done wasnt happy with them. Went some where else had them take them off. I will not come back to this store. They didnt even offer me a drink either.

Old lady did my pedicure TERRIBLE. I wish I could upload the picture. Acrylic is left so thick in my pedicure. She didn’t scoop it AT ALL and did horrible shaping.

Dang. I really wanted to like this place because the staff was friendly. But truly, it was the worst $100 Ive ever spent on a gel mani/pedi. The polish is SO uneven and lumpy, the top coat is also uneven and doesnt even cover the entire nail. My nail tech found a cotton fuzzy bit in the polish and just painted over it. Now there is a fuzzy stuck on my nail until I get the gel removed. I even forked over the extra $ for the callus removal, the execution of which was feeble at best.It looks like a child did my nails :(

I needed a last minute nexgen removal, manicure, and gel polish. This place opened the earliest so I headed that way before they even opened. So did 4 other ladies, and we all needed emergency nail help! They called in reinforcements to handle it, and everything went smoothly. I was done in an hour, and my nails look awesome!

This was my first time visiting and I was so pleased and impressed. I did not have an appointment, just kind of spontaneously decided to get my nails done. When I walked in they were clearly busy and I was a little afraid they might turn me away, but instead they were very nice and set me at a table to wait. The wait was probably about 10-15 minutes, but really it could have been worse considering it was a Saturday and again, I did not have an appointment. I really wish I had gotten the name of the tech who did my nails because she was the nicest, sweetest, most talented nail person Ive ever had. She did an amazing job, I am so impressed and will definitely return.

The man that did my pedicure was extremely rough. He cut and burned the back of my foot. He kept looking around and seemed distracted the whole time. Definitely not worth the $45. Only came here because my friend had a gift card. Also everybody around us was offered a drink and we never once got offered anything to drink. Will never be back.

My mom bought manis and pedis for my best friend and I and we had a fantastic experience here. Our nails look beautiful and perfect. The ladies working here are very sweet and total perfectionists with art of doing nails. They get rid of ridges and ingrown toenails and make everything right!

02/12/2019So on Friday 2/8/2019 I was treated to this nail shop for my Birthday to get my nails done. I had stop coming because a month a I got feet done by a young lady who was on college with no license to do feet or nails. I didnt find that out until she was done. And she cut my foot and it still hasnt healed. But anyways on Friday got my nails done and on yesterday the girl on my nails started peeling off and my fill is cracking. Just went to the nail shop to get fixed due to the 7 day policy and the VERY RUDE Owner which is the mean Woman in the first station says the lady might not come in today, not sure, maybe in a hour but the owner refused to fox it. So tomorrow is my Birthday and this is unprofessional of them. So now I am headed to PRO NAILS on University Dr where they are professional and care about their customers.

My daughter and I have used them for two years and loved them. Looks like new ownership now. My nails last one week and they are coming off. I gave them a chance two weeks a part and same issue even though differant tech did my nails. I will be looking for a new salon, nails should last longer than one week.
