The crew who picked up and returned the rugs and explained something else we didnt know - pads underneath deteriorate and need to be replaced occasionally. One pad was thin rubber and probably OK for another couple of years, but eventually it will dry out - or worse, stick to the hardwood floors. The thicker pads wouldnt stick to the floors, but when they break down they start leaking dust. Thats what ours were doing so we ordered replacements. The new ones should be good for 8-10 years before theyll need to be replaced. The guys who returned them replaced them in exactly the right spot, tweaking the rugs and furniture until I was happy. They also explained more about caring for our rugs - and how to tell when the pads need to be replaced. i highly recommend F&I Upholstery Cleaning INC. to anyone.
