Kyl did an excellent job with 15-yr-old’s. He seem to understand exactly what my son was looking for and then made it happen. This is one of the few times we ever left a haircut feeling happy. I enjoyed reading all of the posters on the wall my son loved the big screen TV fishing videos. We will definitely be back.

This is the best barbershop in Delray Beach! The owner KYL is extremely talented and wonderful. I once had the side of my head shaved and I always had incredible unique designs and styles thanks to KYL. His artistic skills is what sets him apart from everyone else. This place is not customer friendly. They are more about making money then having good customers. Their prices are way too high as well. In these hard times, everyone needs a break and charging extra high fees does not help. Spend your hard earned dollars someplace else where you will get better service and value.

Ive been going to Kyls for about 2 years now, and I wont be changing him anytime soon. Between his great personality, the awesome laid back vibe you get in his salon and the 10/10 haircuts you wouldnt be able find a better experience than here.

I had a 6:30PM appointment which I book online through the Genbook app, after all the barbershops being closed for the last 2 months, I was extremely thrilled about booking this appointment for a haircut. I got there at 6:25 and they were closed. I called them about 5 times, no one answered and then a woman walked out of the salon next door. I went in and spoke to the woman inside only to tell me that they left at around 4PM. I opened up the Genbook app and as soon as i did, they quickly canceled my appointment AFTER I called and texted them. It was very unprofessional of them to not even notify me with a phone call or text saying that they are closing at 4 instead of 9PM like they are supposed to. I wasted my time and gas driving here without any notice from them. Not to mention they wanna charge $30 for a cut. Don’t waste your time... go to Lanzetta’s in downtown Delray when they reopen.

Im going back to my review because I realized that I forgot to comment. Kyl is by far the best barber, hair stylist, blade poet ever to cut my hair. At one time I had more to work with but as time went on he made the best out of my canvas. Ive been going to Kyl at least 8 years or more and sometimes I change it up with his suggestion or mine doesnt matter. What does matter is that everytime I get up from his chair I am so stoked with the way I look and the compliments keep coming. Thanks Kyl you really are the sharp poet!

This guy has been cutting my hair for as long as I can remember. Hes changed locations a few times and I still follow wherever he goes. Im a loyal customer not only because he does a great job, but because hes also a geniunely good guy and cares about his clients. When you leave his shop with a fresh cut, not only do you feel and look good but you feel like youre leaving a family members house and thats something you cant find just anywhere.

After reading all the positive reviews I had high expectations for Sharpoetry.Pros: Prompt; scheduling system is fantastic.Cons: Side fade was noticeably sloppy, side part was crooked, the haircut package that includes the beard only adds a trim and cheek straight razor (have to pay separately for the “beard detailing”), the neck shave left my skin bleeding afterwards; this is all due to being extremely rushed in and out. Mediocre haircut and not worth the $40 I spent. Would not recommend or return.Sorry for the bad review.**update/reply***Clearly our opinions in the quality of the haircut differ. With that aside, care to comment on the service I was provided?You never introduced yourself so I had no idea who you were, And i was never offered a beverage, which is a standard practice you missed. However, you did manage to mention you have “back issues” which I’m guessing is why you rushed to have me out in 20 minutes flat.I didn’t ask for a high fade you’re right, but the break/part should be straight and not jagged; My haircut may not have been perfect, but I did come in with a straight part. (Being a new client you should not have assumed anything on my behalf- instead, out of courtesy, double checked and verify throughout the haircut).But once again all these short cuts and assumptions tied in well with the 20 minute service I received. I was your last client on a Friday evening and I’m sure your back did hurt, so I’m sorry it didn’t work out.

I have been going to Kyl with both of my sons since a legendary barber retired 4 years ago. The legend himself, who cut my hair for 20 years recommended Kyl. I gave him a shot and will never go anywhere else! His attention to detail and hair style versatility cannot be matched by anyone else locally. Kyl is an epic artist, a master at his craft and trade and a good guy. I started using clippers and cutting my own hair after getting several bad haircuts over the last several years. After two years of that, I decided I would try one more time because as we all know, doin your own dooo ain’t easy. Anyway, I found Kyl by googling men’s haircuts and barbers, went in, told him very specifically how I like my hair to look and he literally gave me the greatest haircut I have ever had in my life. I will be a client forever and finally be able to retire my scissor, thinning shears and clippers, what a relief!I also opted for the beard trim and shave etc and I’m only mad that I haven’t been doing this all along. When I arrived I felt good vibes right away. Cool location with awesome pictures on the walls. Kyl took the time to find out what I wanted for my hairstyle and what I didnt like about my hair cuts before. He understood exactly what I wanted and gave me a hairstyle. Experience was great on my first time. Left feeling clean and looking fresh. I live in Miami but my work takes me into the area up there by Delray and I will definitely be returning.
