I am very hesitant in writing this review. I went to this barbershop when they were in their old location and Mark was my barber. Mark was amazing. He was kind, respectful, and attentive. I only stopped going because I found a barbershop closer to me.Years went by and this barbershop moved to its new location, but seemingly Mark moved on to somewhere else. The barber I currently go to was booked and no appointment available for a month. So I decided to give Lanzettas a try again. It seems unfair to give them two stars based on just one barber. However, the way I was treated warranted this review reluctantly. The day I decided to come back to Lanzettas, I was assigned with Ray.I wear a mask because of personal reasons. I know we live in an era where no one really wants to wear a mask. I make no issue if you wear a mask or not. At this point, it is just futile to even debate about it. Ray requested that I take off my mask. I fervently refused. He didnt seem to appreciate my refusal. I am going to loosely quote what he said: Well it just lets me cut your hair easier so I can see better. Well during the height of the pandemic and face mask was compulsory, did you make an issue of it? If not, how did you work around people wearing face masks? I had to hold the ear loops for dear life because I did not want my mask to fall. He was ungentle and seem to have a hideous attitude since my refusal to remove my mask. I have been to other barbers in various locations, they understood that I did not want to remove my mask. Ray was the first barber that protested. Therefore, I am unwilling to come back to this location. The only saving grace was that I was called immediately upon entering.

Ray is fantastic. He just started here and takes his time with the cut. Professional. Cordial. Experienced. Great haircut and fade at the end of the day.

I tried this place on the recommendation of someone else, and was extremely happy with my experience. I booked an appointment with Eddie....I walked in a few minutes early for my appointment and they were able to seat me right away. The haircut was on point, and I got in and out of there in about 30 minutes....Eddie gave me an awesome cut, and was a very friendly guy,. I was very pleased with my experience and the way my cut turned out. I will definitely be booking another appointment there again!!

This is by far the best Barbershop I have been to. The place is clean and has a great modern look but still has that classic barbershop feel. It is hard for me to find a place I can trust with my beard. Well I not only found the place but I found the right person as well. I highly recommend Mark. He did an awesome job. He took time to listen to what I wanted and gave his own insight to what he thought would look good. When we came to an agreement he did his thing. Well worth the drive. Well worth the money. Absolutely worth my time. All the other barbers and staff were friendly as well. I will never go anywhere else again. Do yourself a favor and book online now. You wont be disappointed.

Brandon has been cutting/trimming my hair and beard for over a year now. Dont care where he is, I will follow. Ive sent 5 of my friends to him and every single one has been over the moon at not only the cut, but the treatment they receive. Its a struggle finding good barbers around here so its a breath of fresh air for sure. Professional, very sanitary (especially with everything going on these days) and creative. I’ve decided to drive to Delray for haircut instead of settling for lesser service. By far best barber shop in Palm Beach County! Elvin was my choice for the task and he didn’t disappoint. My hair is incredibly short and also once I asked the babor Billie jean for a messy look that means leave the top long as it should and just shave the sides but she shaved the entire thing all most like a buzz cut and is going to take months now to grow back to what I want worst hair cut ive ever had!!!!

WORST shop I have ever been to. Not only did I receive the worst haircut I have ever gotten, this haircut along with the poorest communication with barber BRANDON has made me extremely disappointed with my look. Approaching a new barber with very clear instructions and reference photos, he could not have gotten any further than I asked for. After spending months growing out my hair, BRANDON essentially shaved my head. Along with taking off all of the length I had worked so hard for, he did an overall very poor and uneven cut which left me feeling extremely embarrassed to be presenting myself without a hat on. I don’t know how I could even grow it back to what it was with the horrific way it was cut. After calling the manager when I got home, his only response was “sorry bro, we can cut it some more if you want to come back in”. Not sure why in a professional environment I am being called “bro” in the first place, or why fixing this cut would involve cutting it MORE. I very clearly stated to this barber that I loved my longer style, and that any shortness I desired would be above the ears and he could shape in reference to the photo I showed him. This did not happen at all. At the end of the cut when I said “this isn’t what I asked for at all....” there was obviously no going back. He said, “ohhh... so you wanted an all scissor cut?” You would think that would be something the “professional” you are working with should know by clear instructions from the client. There was zero communication about my cut throughout the cut, even with me asking frequent questions in reference to what he was doing. Do not make the same mistake I did by going to this shop, and save yourself a lot of disappointment and regret. Not looking forward to the next year of growing my hair back out, and can barely face myself in the mirror. Thanks Lanzetta’s!

This is an excellent barbershop! Nice ambiance and decor with friendly staff. My cut and beard detail was wonderful! I entered at 5pm on a Saturday, they close at 6pm. I am new so I didnt realize an appointment was highly recommended, now I do! Mark was very kind and gracious and took me as a walk in. They even gave me a beverage while i waited. The place had TVs, comfortable chairs and great conversation. Thanks again Mark, I will be returning here!

The staff is very friendly and professional, and the atmosphere inside is welcoming and polished. Prices are also very fair, with $21 getting you a quality haircut and hot lather shave.Bonus points for complimentary drinks (water, soda, beer) while youre there. Highly recommended.

Lanzettas is one of the great finds I have made in Delray over the past 4 years. Tony the owner is a great guy and makes the experience very enjoyable. The decor inside the shop is tasteful and a mix between classic barber shop and contemporary decor. Custom made furniture and high end barber chairs are a great touch. I have been and will continue to recommend this place to all the guys I know. If you are looking for a classic gentlemens barber shop with affordable prices, this will become your go-to.

Probably the best barber shop that Ive found around here. Make sure you book an appointment because it is highly unlikely you will be able to get a haircut as a walk-in, they are busy all the time. Stephen is the barber that I use/ recommend however I am confident that any barber you choose will be great!

First visit was great (Aug. 2015), the whole staff and atmosphere felt very welcoming and comfortable. I got to work with Elvin for a hair cut and beard detailing and couldn’t be more pleased with the service and result. He was polite, efficient, meticulous, and did a really fantastic job on the hair and the beard.Second visit was okay (Nov. 2015), felt a little more rushed and the cut wasnt as clean as it was the first time... and it cost more- the prices happen to go up that day (website doesnt seem to be updated yet). Total for beard and hair was almost $15 more than last time. Will try somewhere else for my next cut, may be back if I cant find something better.

They are professional, organized, entertaining, and most importantly, good people that genuinely care that you are having a good experience. A customer of my business wiser than me once told me the secret to life is not understanding the xs and os but rather the Johns and the Joes. They just get it...they understand people, they engage in actively finding out what you are looking for and they deliver.
