I am so incredibly impressed by the dip manicure I got from Kristine!! Going back to get them done again today. I am in awe of how well these nails lasted through housework and caring for two kids full time for OVER A MONTH! These nails are #tough. Attaching a picture of the first day vs today. (Again - over a month later!) grew out with #NOCHIPS!! I spoke with the owner for a while when getting my nails done. He is very kind and Kristine said he is a great person to work for which I absolutely adore! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ updated with photos from my second visit! Perfection!

So I definitely have an idea how a business is supposed to be run.And that was not a good look, I’m sorry to say.

This is the best nail salon around. I always have a great experience here. There are no TVs in the pedicure area, so you can fully relax. Their higher end pedicure is 100% worth it. I drive up from The south shore to come here because it’s that dang good and nothing else compares. I recommend Lovely nails to everyone and drag all of my family and friends here when I can. I am completely hooked; other salons $30 pedicures just aren’t worth it anymore. Truly setting the bar.

Well named, Lovely Nails has wonderful skilled staff who are expert at pampering. The ambiance is elegant and soothing and I always emerge feeling like royalty.

They don’t know how to do any type of designs I asked for rhinestones she said she couldn’t do that. She told me that she could do ombré nails then told me she didn’t know how anyways I was charged $89.00 for a basic and plain acrylic set and pedicure 🙄

I called the salon at 2:00 for a same day app it lent and was got one at 3:30. I got an acrylic overlay from Tina. They use safe and clean materials. Do not feel rushed at all.

I have this lady who was doing my nails she was rude and not nice at all and hit with the dryer machine without saying sorry and didn’t clean my nails at all she kept on asking for money,I know I went to spend the money cause I wanted the service so of course I have to that lady was focused on my moneys instead of doing her job i feel ashamed for her .

Vanessa is the go to person here. She takes her time even when theres a rush. I am very pleased with my polished nails

I definetly have the right location, i walked in and you can check your list it was on chritmas eve, the one who did my nails was so mean and ruined my nails while removing the gel and everytime i try to say anything she would reply aggressively.

I paid a little more for a dip manicure than I usually do. I was fine with that, assuming the manicure would be a little better than usual. She did not soak or cut my cuticles before dipping them and when I asked her if she would she responded by saying that she was going to wait until after to protect my nails. When she finally did it made my nails look dry and unfinished due to the lack of prepping my nails for the dip and taking care of the dead skin before hand. I have never paid so much for dip to look this unkempt.

This is such a relaxing nail spa. Beautiful, peaceful environment. 40 to 45 minute classic pedicure has everything you desire for $28. The massage chairs and the hot stone leg massages are the best!

Went here on a whim with two of my friends because they could fit us in for three dip manicures. The place is huge and has lots of tech which is great if you’re coming with a group or desperately need to get your nails done. The whole parking lot situation is terrible though. The staff there was quite rude and none of our techs tried to converse. We all had to sit separate from each other even though there was plenty of open seats for us all to sit next to each other.. my friend and myself dip chipped after a week. But I had six chipped nails by week two! They never touched my cuticles and didn’t do any maintenance to my nails and I know I needed it! My third friends tech kept filing her nails and she kept telling her it was too much and it was hurting her yet she didn’t care.. It’s unfortunate because it was a big clean accessible location right off the highway. Definitely wouldn’t recommend coming here, there is plenty of better places to go in the area.

I have been going to Lovely Nails for a few years and have always had very positive experience. I make an appointment and Im always seen on time. The technicians are skilled and patient. The atmosphere is calm and peaceful which is very relaxing. This is my favorite place to go for a manicure and pedicure!

I went in for a full set. The nails are all different shapes, lengths, and thickness. The woman asked me if I wanted something fixed to let her know. I told her about the shapes and lengths. She ignored me. I have leftover acrylic all over my hands. Needless to say I left without getting them painted and will not be returning. PSA: they charge for shaping nails and length.

I LOVE this place! Lovely Nails & Spa is amazing. They have such a friendly staff and its an inviting atmosphere. All the girls are nice and they take their time. Lee is my go to nail technician and shes just the best! In general they have great service, give extra long massages, and have a large selection of nail polish colors, both regular and gel. Theyre also great when it comes to getting my eyebrows done. I also love how clean it is. Everything is sterilized, neat and organized. Ive been looking for a place to call my go to for a while now as I can be picky,and Ive finally found it here. Happy gal!

First time I got dip powder nails

I asked for coffin/ballerina and they gave me barely a square with rounded edges the nails were lumpy and all of them were different sizes. it was $69 and it was awful. she took an hour and a half and kept bumping them.

I come to Lovely Nails for Manicures & Pedicures. I have tried other Nail Spas before. But I find myself coming back here. Theres something in the technique & the process of how they the Pearl Spa Pedicure that separates them from other Nail Salons. They are always so friendly and accomodating.

Loved this place! Everyone is so friendly. I got a pedicure and added on a 10 minute foot massage which was just heavenly. I love this place. Just found my new regular salon! 😍❤💅

I’m forced to give it one star as zero is an impossibility. I walked in yesterday with my 9 year old niece and we asked for a kids manicure and an adult manicure. The woman barely turned around and told us to sign in. We signed in and one of the rude manicurists asked my niece how old she was (apparently they thought I was trying to scam them?). My manicure was terrible and painful. It was the absolute worst one I’ve ever received and she didn’t put a top coat on. She was so cold and finally she asked why I was moving my hands do much and I told her that she was hurting me. She said this must be your first time getting a manicure. My nails are already chipped less than 24 hours later and my niece’s polish is peeling off. I’d should have lit my money on fire-it’d of been more satisfying. I can’t believe this place is even a functioning business.

This is the best nail salon I have ever been to. Its clean and peaceful inside. The spa pedicures are awesome. They also do a great job with gel manicures. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Im so happy to have found this place!

Lovely nails provides great service and they make sure they provide every customer with an amazing experience. The receptionists Laura and Missy are awesome and very helpful with everything! I got a Gel manicure with a new technician Nam (it was his first gel manicure) it was great. The other technicians were very helpful to him and he was able to provide me with just what I wanted without speaking any english! I always have different technicians and have never had a complaint! Highly recommend this salon for all services.

After moving to Dedham three years ago, I was immediately in search of a new nail salon. The one I had left behind was fabulous and this new one would have big shoes to fill! After a couple of disappointments, a friend recommended Lovely Nails. I looked no more, and have been a happy, loyal customer since! The salon is clean and relaxing, and the staff is courteous and professional! I can honestly say I have never had a bad experience. I do, however need to give a special shout out to Tammy! Shes just awesome - amazing at gel nails and just the best pedicure ever! HIGHLY recommend!!!

I called on a Wednesday to make an appointment for Sunday. Upon arrival I noticed a sign on the door saying no kids who are loud. Okay I get it people come here to relax. Upon arriving I had to wait until 30 minutes after my appointment to be helped. What is the point of calling ahead if you do not honor appointments? My manicure and pedicure did come out great, but the woman who assisted me was constantly talking to her coworkers and even took out her phone and took calls while doing my manicure. I found it to be very rude.

I recently moved to the area from out of state and wanted to find a nail salon with great technicians and service. I go to the nail salon religiously every 2 weeks for manicures and pedicures and tip extremely well. My first visit was great, I really liked how my nails turned out. Though I could do without the technicians speaking badly about their customers (not just about me, also about customers sitting around me) in their language... Im not fluent, but I understood enough. Were just trying to have a relaxing moment, ladies.I had a UV gel manicure and spa pedicure done by Melissa on Wednesday May 20, 2015. I had to travel Thursday evening to another state for my cousins graduation. I thought Melissa did a fantastic job and I spent well over $100 plus a large tip. I left the salon very happy, pretty excited about seeing my cousin graduate from college- and feeling confident! The next morning I was doing some last minute packing and felt one of my nails pop off (as if it were a cheap press on nail). I told myself not to stress out, its only one nail and was sure the salon would fix it without a problem (as most salons would hold themselves accountable if something happened to your nails within the first week).I stopped by the salon around 4PM with some time before my flight. I walked in and Melissa waved to me (she was working with a customer). I explained to the receptionist my situation and she didnt know what to do- so an older gentleman approached (management, maybe?) and I explained again what happened. At this point Im very nice and laughing at the situation I was in (it would be my luck that something would happen right before an important event).Keep in mind that Im only worried about ONE nail. He said that I would have to pay full manicure price just to fix one nail and Melissa didnt have time to fix it right now. Come back at 7:30 PM when Melissa is available. I had already told him that I have a flight to catch (he obviously didnt listen). I asked if someone else could fix my ONE nail as I was on a time crunch to make my flight (my name was on the waiting list, there were other available technicians). I also made a comment that I shouldnt have to pay such a high amount to fix just one nail ($45 for one nail is absurd). They have a 1 week guarantee on their gel nails on their website- so I mentioned this as well. He had the audacity to tell me that I hit my nail (without realizing it) and made it break- therefore the guarantee doesnt apply to my situation. I was aware when my nail popped off and I would know if I hit my hand hard enough to break a thick layer of gel. Ive done gel nails on myself before, I know how it works. The gel didnt bond to my real nail as well as it should.Im a very calm and reasonable person- this is my first negative review in my life. Ive had bad service before, but I understand that people just have off days. In my opinion, this manager was ridiculously money hungry and didnt honor their guarantee. Dishonesty is a big NO in my book. He blamed me for something that may have been wrong in their product or process. He walked away from me while I was still speaking to him (I was still very nice and calm with him- though I feel most people would be yelling at this point). It was terrible customer service. I walked out with a broken nail and feeling very cheated.I found another Salon in a completely different state, hours before the event- they fixed my one nail for free. Regardless of the small amount of work they had to do, I tipped the technician $50. It was a quick and easy fix! Melissa (or any technician that helped) would have gotten that tip. Unfortunately, I will never return to Lovely Nails because of my experience with them.

This nail spa is fantastic! New, clean, well designed. A very relaxing atmosphere. My mom got a terrible fingernail infection from a place in Kingston that required acrylic nail removal and two minor surgeries. She has been terrified to have her nails done and hadnt been to a nail salon for over a year. Then I brought her HERE. Shes hooked. It was the sterile tools and clean environment. Oh did I mention how great the nails were! And the customer service! My mom drives 50 miles to have her nails done in Dedham and to visit me:). Go and see Sonny and Mimi. Tell them Lisa sent you. Ive been getting my nails done for over 10 years and since moving here in 2011, have tried a bunch of nail salons in the area, but havent been happy with the results until I found Lovely Nails! The service is excellent, the quality is consistent and exceptional, and everyone is super nice and friendly. The salon is gorgeous and spacious, and even when very busy it never feels crowded. I strongly suggest everyone try Lovely Nails :)

I loved this place initially. But then watched one of male employees discriminate against particular customers. I have not returned since. I now go exclusively to mini lux because theyre all so respectful to all and their products are much safer.

If I could give this salon a ZERO that would be a more fitting rating. I called and scheduled an appointment for two, a full set and pedicure for myself and a manicure for my mother. I showed up with my mother and my daughter and noticed a sign on the door stating that children who are loud would be asked to leave. Unfortanetly i do not have the luxury of just leaving my daughter with someone while I go get my nails done and the only person I leave her with was conveniently at this salon with me. My daughter is 3 years old and yes she will talk because that is all they do at this age but she was not running a muck nor was she screaming and making any obnoxious noises. The only person that seemed to be bothered by her was the older and bitter lady who is the receptionist of this horrible establishment. She told MY child to be quite rather than asking me to tell her too. Which I quickly called her out on and if my beautiful and wonderful child was not there it would have gone a completely other way. Anyway, I was approached by another customer who was concerned about how we were treated and she told me that she has actually been here before with her grandson and they have never been treated like that before. Hmmm well maybe it’s because this lovely lady was Caucasian and I am a Latina. Sorry to pull the race card BUT I’m just calling it what it is. Also i find it very ironic that the they offer services for children when they clearly can’t stand them in their establishment. I will NEVER step foot in this place again!

Ive been a regular customer since Lovely Nails opened-and Ive NEVER been disappointed! Great staff, spotlessly clean, and every service is delivered professionally. Melisa and Lily are both terrific, but so are many of the other technicians. Nail and waxing serves are among the best Ive ever tried, I would (and do) recommend Lovely Nails to all friends and family. The atmosphere is warm and relaxing, soothing music and wonderful products used for all serves. Do not miss the spa pedi, such a treat. They also have two adorable pink teddy bear chairs for little girls-perfect for birthdays. Enjoy!

Went here on rec from a friend. I had Lee do my nails once and she was lovely and did a great job. My second and last visit was lousy. I dont know the name of the technician (not wearing a name tag) but she was very unhappy. Very nasty kept yanking on my fingers--I should have walked out. Charged me for a full set although all I needed was a fill. The selection of colors is less than at other nearby salons. I wont be coming back.

I was a loyal patron of this salon for many years. I waited a few weeks before posting my review so that I had a chance to think about how I wanted to relate my terrible experience. Sonny, the owner, has no business dealing with customers. He has ZERO customer service skills. If you dare to question anything he immediately gets defensive, nor makes any attempt to fix complaints. (Missy and a few of the techs are lovely people so I feel bad slamming their place of employment.) All he cares about is shuffling people in and out as fast as possible. I would rather light my money on fire than give it to this greedy awful man. He waters down all the polishes with acetone b/c he is cheap. The staff is petrified of him. Several have stopped talking mid-sentence during a service as he walked by their station. Some serious bad boss vibes often were relayed to me through different techs in whispers. I digress- I made an appointment, arrived early and people who arrived well after were quickly ushered in ahead of me. When I questioned it b/c I had been sitting there for 20 minutes past my appointment time he told me that they had requested someone. When I dared to inquire how this was fair as I had an appointment as well and had arrived before the other women he got annoyed with me and gave me excuse after excuse. Never offered any apology. Please do yourself a favor and dont give this man ANY business. Sonny doesnt deserve your hard earned money! Great customer service is essential to any business and Sonny misses the mark completely.

This has to be the worst service that I have ever received. The tech had an attitude upon just touching my hands like it was of complete disgust to her. When explaining the service that I wanted and for her to fix a nail she kept telling me to “she got it and to relax.” I said nothing more because as I began to make conversation she gave me back one word sentences whereas she spoke perfectly with her colleague. She spoke perfect English as well so there was no excuse. By the end of my service she proceeded to send me to wash my hands after doing so I noticed acrylic on my skin. Politely I asked for her to use alcohol to remove the excess acrylic on my skin she replied “you have to pay first.” 😒 seriously over it at this point. I have heard of pay before I paint your nails but damn to remove the acrylic on my skin. Wow! She was so rude after I paid, she still did not remove the acrylic off my skin or put any oil on my cuticles as that is included in my service. She got so frustrated with me asking for her to remove the acrylic off my skin that she proceeded to use a cuticle cutter....NOO WAY! If that wasn’t enough to get me out and never come back...her attitude on top of it sucked! Appalled at the service to other clients in ther. I was the only person who was “black” and had to “pay” before getting acrylic taken off my skin. Don’t give business to this place they can’t even talk respectfully to people nor can you have a conversation with your company that you bring with you...you’re a mute in there.

This new nails salon in Dedham is awesome! It is extremely clean and beautiful inside. They are very friendly and do their best to get you right in whether you call for an appointment or walk in. Ive already had a few gel manicures and pedicures there that were fabulous!! They do a great job in a timely fashion, I never feel rushed or that its too slow, all in a very calming and relaxing spa environment. The salon has a total spa feel and quality without the spa prices and attitude. The manager there, Sonny is wonderful and Lily does a great pedicure. It is definitely a place I already have and will recommend to everyone!!

The light-colored nail polish turned brown after I had my nails painted in this place and they gave me a hard time about redoing it. First they told me they would not redo it and then said they would but were not able to find the time to schedule me. Incredible lack of customer service.

I really enjoyed going to Lovely Nails. All the employees are very nice and the salon is very clean. It is definitely somewhere I would go again and recommend to friends and family.

I stopped in for a gel fill. Although I did not ask the cost, from my many years of getting fills, I expected to pay no more than between $28-$35. I was shocked to find that this simple fill cost $48. I asked for and checked out the price list and not finding anything that was $48 and inquired about this. I was told that it was one price for the “fill”, $15 for the “manicure”, $5 for polish removal. Who gets a fill without getting the old polish and fill removed first? Im not sure it can be done. Who gets a fill without getting some kind of a polish to cover it? Outrageous nickel and diming. My manacurist was lovely, the facility is very nice. The business practices, appalling. Won’t be back.

I have been going to Lovely Nails and Spa since they first opened and I have never been disappointed. The first time I went there I was greeted by the manager Sonny. I had tons of questions on the different types of services offered. Sonny spent about a half an hour going over everything with me. I was very impressed with this. After our discussion he did my nails and offered suggestions on what I could do at home to make my nails/cuticles better. I have never had that much undivided attention from someone in this field ever, and that is only one of the reasons I will keep going back. If you go to get your nails, toes, eyebrows or whatever else done here you will not be disappointed!

My cousin needed her nails to be fixed because a previous salon messed up her nails terribly. Tina did a wonderful job on fixing her nails and they look beautiful.

Their receptionist has been rude a few times, but other than that the actual technicians do a great job. They are somewhat pricey but always worth the money, and I will continue to go there as I have been for almost a year now dispite the fact that they should find a half decent receptionist.

Great quality service. I would recommend making a reservation for weekends.

This is my favorite place to come get my gel mani and spa pedi! It is so clean, which is hard to find. I love seeing Sophia for my nails, they always come out so great!

If I could give this place ZERO stars I would!! Let us start off by saying that making an appointment for this place is POINTLESS. I made a 6:30 appointment and didnt get started till almost 7:30 and didnt get out of there till 9. A refill and pedicure DO NOT take that long. Other reasons I COMPLETELY disliked this place:1. Too clustered. I felt like I was sitting on top of the lady next to me while doing my pedicure and my nails. I do not want to see someone elses cuticles being scrapped off as if I am the one doing them. Also, while getting my refill another customer next to me was coughing because of the acrylic powder and was complaining about it. That is how close she was to me! Needs more space!2. The nail tech was EXTREMELY pushy and charging extra for every single thing. It was annoying!!! She even had to ask the manager to tell me to not cut my nails shorter and to keep them the length I have them now because she would have to refile them! I thought that was rude because If I want my nails shorter than do it! Dont tell me I cant because YOU are behind.3. That being said, she was rushing my nails because there were 10 others who also made an appointment, waiting. That shouldnt be my issue.4. Since she was rushing she forced me to get a gel color as opposed to doing a regular manicure so it can dry faster since the store was closing. I did not like that at all. I didnt ask for a gel but because she was rushing she felt the need to sell me on why I should get a gel so I can leave faster5. She also overshaped my nails and my nails on my left hand looks totally different from my right hand.6. OVERCHARGED. A refill and pedicure SHOULD not be $86! I pay that if I have designs and studs, not a basic manicure.I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK HERE AT ALL!

Extremely disappointed. This was not my first time there but it will be my last and it is sad, because Lee is a great technician. Unfortunately, Lovely nails does not have the right person managing its product inventory and she does not take care into finding out if the nail polish is empty. I selected two colors and both colors were emptied and trying to find a third was difficult as I already had the gel base on and Angela kept telling me to not touch anything because the base was not dry. Well how am I supposed to select a third color. I ended paying for my waxing and walking out without any nail color on my nails. Its too bad because the color that I had on previously was only a week old and I just wanted to change it for an upcoming event. The receptionist was not very helpful and didnt seem to know what was going on. Need better management and technicians should assist customers not say you dont like color, so I sit down find one honey.

My friend had referred me to go to Lovely Nails in Dedham, as I would be totally impressed with the Salons cleanliness & services provided by the staff. Finally went there about a month ago, and immediately from the moment you enter the Salon you see the difference from all other salons in this area. Spacious, extremely clean, decor is like no other nail salon in this area and most importantly the staff is friendly and talks to you.This salon is the BEST around that I have seen in over 10 years having my nails done. They have a brochure on their services, explaining manicures & pedicures, which is great for the customer ! Had a pedicure and they spent 45 minutes doing my pedicure as stated in the brochure. I have been a customer at this salon for since I moved to Hyde park/Dedham 3 years ago. Today was my last day. I was 10 minutes late for my appointment(personal reasons) and was pretty much scolded by the front desk person Missy as if she were my mother. She was loud and rude, clearly she wanted the whole salon to hear. Her attitude is hot and cold on certain days which is not good for someone who is supposed to be the first point of contact for customers. I was there about a week and a half ago and got a particular gel color which I KNOW they had two of. The tech was assisting me and trying to convince me to get another color. Last I checked I am the customer and I want what I want. I asked if she could check the tables as they have had colors there or on the pedicure carts in the past. She gave me an attitude and was dismissive and talking trash in her language. I know because as I was looking back at them everyone was staring at me, even Missy trying to be sneaky talking about me. I was so close to telling them about themselves but it was too early for that and I refused to let them get me out of character. I simply left and went elsewhere. The service was superb where I went. Although they didnt have the color I wanted they took the name down and said they would order it for next time and did not make me feel as if I was being a bother. And they assisted me with getting a color I would like. The owner/manager here should do a customer service workshop. It is essential to running a successful business. No one should have to tolerate anyone elses attitude especially where they are going to get serviced. Good day

Only positive feedback, just moved here and found Lovely Nails online. Staff was so friendly, didnt rush me at all. Chairs and facility is top of the line and a great value for what youre paying. Great service, even the basic mani and pedi had added features and treatments that made it even more relaxing and deluxe. I am making this place my go-to nail salon. Pretty good color selection, everything was sanitized and clean. Took a while, but it was so relaxing I had no problem hanging out there a little longer than I am used to. Great find!

Michelle went above and beyond for my manicure and pedicure, i am definitely going back to see her!

The very first time I tryed lovely nails I fell in love,they have great service wonderful people working there to help serve you..I would highy suggest anyone looking for a nice relaxing spa to get your nails and toes done to come to lovely nails and spa..I will honestly never go anywhere else!!!!

My mother and I stopped here because we were already in the area and had plans to get mani pedis. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted. They have an organized system of having people sign in with their name, the service you want, and the time. Afterward, the decor caught my eye. The ceiling lamps are beautiful! I felt at ease instantly.Vanessa helped me pick out my nail polish for my hands and feet and it matched perfectly. Our wait was less than five minutes! They offer three different types of services on the pedicure. I opted for the basic ($20+) as Im not a fan of pedicures. My mom got the spa pedicure ($30+). It was lovely! Ive gone to so many nail salons and I have never had a pedicure the way Lovely Nails did mine. Two lengthy massages (one with a scrub, one with hot stones). So much care and attention.I got a gel manicure done and again, amazing service. Vanessa took good care of my nails and made them look and feel very healthy. She gave extra time for my nails in the gel machine. Afterward she put a hot towel over my hand and gave me a nice massage on my hands. Honestly, I was smiling all throughout!I feel bad if anyone has a bad experience because this has been my best one. I would recommend it for sure! The ONLY down side is that they dont have color changing polish which I love but they have a variety of colors which makes up for it.We live in Brockton so Dedham is about 20-30 mins away. We would honestly make the trip for the quality service given here. I felt like a celebrity. Thank you Vanessa!!!

I cant ever say enough about how awesome Lovely Nails is.Between the service, the staff and the facilities, everything is absolutely wonderful.Ive been to other places in the past and they all pale in comparison to Lovely Nails.Ive been going here religiously for a year. (Every 2 weeks)The spa itself is beautiful and CLEAN! Absolutely spotless, sanitary, and beautiful. Such a relaxing place. Unlike many other spas in the area, the place is HUGE and open which adds to the comfort of any visit. They have so many services to choose from and their pricing is totally reasonable.All the techs are gracious and lovely. Everyone there is so easy to talk to and incredibly acommodating to any and all needs.When I go, I always work with Melissa, who does amazing work.I always get a Spa Pedi (which is amazing), my nails done, and my eyebrows waxed and every single time I leave, I am beyond satisfied. My nails are always perfect and my skin is always soft after a visit with Melissa. She is so artistic and is knowledgable about all the modern techniques and designs. She is such an enjoyable person to work with. Melissa has an incredible passion for what she does and it reflects in her work.I HIGHLY recommend the Spa Pedicure. Its the ultimate in relaxation and primping for your feet and legs. They exfoliate, scrub, mask, hot towel and hot stone massage your legs and feet all while you relax in a massage chair. Been going here for just over a year and today was my last time. I went with my friend and it wasnt even busy and they wouldnt let us sit next to eachother eventhough there were open spots everywhere. Disappointed and the ladies were very rude about it saying you have the whole day to hang out.

Great service... Only thing that is sort of annoying is that you cannot forget to make an appointment because you most likely will not be seen without one since they are always busy.

Let me just start by saying I CONTRACTED A NAIL INFECTION from Lovely nails. I dealt with an entire week of turmoil because of the infection and at the end of it all, the owner and my nail tech offered nothing but apologies. NO REFUND was offered. Its as though I payed for them to give me a nail infection. Talk about greed. My finger was swollen to the point where I couldnt close my hand, I was in an unbelievable amount of pain, I was on medication and pain killers to help me deal with the unbelievable pain, missed work for three days due to doctors orders (Im a cosmetologist), and had to have an incision made and my finger drained. The fact that I was a regular customer for the past 7 months and all they could say was we are so sorry shows that all they are concerned with is the money they can make and not the safety of there clients. I must also add that it appears to be clean because they are not messy but its what I call surface clean. Dont be fooled by the decor and ambiance. There are no barbicide/disinfectant jars to sanitize the implements that they use. By law, they are required to place one at every station. They dont clean the implements that should be cleaned before they reuse it. I noticed this right away, but I loved the ambiance and decor of the place so I ignored it knowing better because I actually teach cosmetology and sanitation. The drill bits and files have visible debris from previous clients and they leave the implements in there drawer without sanitizing them which is how I got my infection. the fact that they havent been opened that long and I got an infection says a lot...hopefully there wont be more to come.

Horrific service. Missy the receptionist is absolute trash. Ive been coming here for a few months and will never ever come back. She is absolutely disgusting. I came in for my appointment and she was extremely rude and unfriendly and then as another woman came in she yelled at her for not having an appointment and refused her service although the next girl to come in did not have an appointment and still got in. Missy is the only problem with this salon and she deserves to be fired.

If you havent yet been to Lovely Nails and Spa in Dedham you are really missing out. Sonny will greet you at the door and make you feel welcome. The spa is large, beautifully architectured, and calming. Much thought went into the design. Ive been coming back again and again since the grand opening to see Mimi for a shellac mani and spa pedi. The tools are sterile and files disposable. Not a worry of cleanliness. So dont be left out. Visit Lovely Nails and Spa today :)
