Owner(woman who works the front desk) was extremely rude. She told me to get up from the chair before my shoes were even on. Although, the technician who did my pedicure was great I would advise people not to go here because ownership is extremely ungrateful and rude.

1st time visiting this salon and unfortunately may be my last. I was referred by a friend who raved about this salon so I figured Id give them a try. My nails came out decent however that wasnt my issue. Upon doing my nails, the nail tech proceeds to ask me what shape I prefer to which I responded coffin. The tech told me that coffin would be an additional $10 and I’m well aware that some salons may charge extra depending on the desired shape, again not an issue. Mind you, I never complained or gave any indication that I had an issue paying the extra $10. The tech then asked me where I lived I assumed as an attempt to strike conversation. When I told her Hyde Park, she went on to tell me that there are nail salons in Hyde Park that are cheaper, and that Dedham charges more because of the cost of rent. Completely irrelevant because 1, I never asked nor made an issue about the cost. 2, what nail tech refers customers elsewhere? Being that I’m African American I didn’t want to assume but couldn’t help but feel unwelcome by her comments. Unless your goal is to target a specific demographic/clientele, why on earth would you make comments like these, specifically to a 1st time customer?

They did a good job with my spa pedicure. At the end, while she was finishing the last stroke of my leg massage, she said, OK, you can pay now. Of course I planned to pay, I just thought Id be able to enjoy the experience, get dressed, and pay as I was leaving. Kind of ruined the moment. Ive never had a spa so that before. No fragrance choice, no conversation. I just felt like another customer. So go for a decent pedicure but dont expect anything special.

I went and got pedicures with two friends. They did a poor paint job for one of them, which we noticed outside with better lighting after the service. My friend called the next day if they could redo it for her as stated in their policy: *If clients are not satisfied for any reason, we will re-perform the services within 3 days, but was continuously denied. Please stick to your business policy or don’t be a business at all.

Not me but a friend of mine I went with came out with the paint uneven. The lighting inside aq nails is set to be relaxing so of course it was a little difficult to see at the moment. Once my friend noticed, she decided to call the next day. However, AQ nails continued to refuse the redo they promised stated in their business policy. “ *If clients are not satisfied for any reason, we will re-perform the services within 3 days”. It states any reason and, even so, this is a pretty valid reason... Do better AQ. Please.

I went and got a gel full set and they came out amazing! This place is wonderful, they took me very quickly for a walk in and the girl I had was very nice and sweet and she did an amazing job on my nails. The color came out perfectly and I can not wait to go back for future appointments.

I love this place. Beautiful, relaxing and it’s got such a wonderful atmosphere. Everyone is so kind it is super clean. I absolutely love and recommend Bonnie. In 15 years of doing acrylics, I have never found anyone who can do them as well as she can. I have very long nail beds and my nails always look super super long even when they’re short and I love a short nail. Bonnie is the only person who has been able to perfect the short nails look on me. Without hesitation I would go back there again and again and again she is my go to person!!

Got a spa pedi to treat myself. Site say $36 but was told its $39 when i got there. It waa spacious and clean. The extra treatment was nice to relax. Only complaint is i didnt feel like they really cleaned my nails and cut my cuticles and such like im used to (thats my fav part). Especially for $40. But whatever i guess lol

I only schedule with Lina. I like that they use new liners on the pedicure bath bins for each client. Place is very clean.

Called to make an appointment, upon arriving on time had to wait 20additional minutes. Before heading there I called and ask if they do designs, was told YES. After having my feet soak in water they told me they don’t do designs. And to top it off their prices are sky rocket, super expensive

I went with my girlfriend and we both got pedicures. They painted her toenails, however, they came out sloppy. Inside the nail salon, the relaxing lights covered it up, but as we got in the car we noticed that the paint was poorly done. Figuring we’ll come back within the next 3 days as stated by their business policy: “*If clients are not satisfied for any reason, we will re-perform the services within 3 days”, she decided to call the next day. Unfortunately, AQ nails refused to redo their services. They refused to comply with their own policy. Please do as you have promised or don’t make the promise in the first place, thank you.

Came here about a week ago for a mani/pedi. I was given a pearl pedicure, although I didnt want it and only wanted the Deluxe. She insisted. A week later, my feet are peeling completely and feel/look horrible! My feet have never been like that. Had a manicure and the nail polish was messed up the very first day. My hands also feel terribly dry. Not coming back.

Not only did she cut my nails as far back as she could without me asking but she also cut me so bad I had to stop her from doing my pedicure

Best nail place around, hands down. Ive been going since they opened a few years ago and after the 2nd or 3rd time I met Jen and have seen her religiously ever since. She is the absolute best. Couldnt recommend this place enough, everyone there is super nice and accommodating.

We called and scheduled a last minute appointment for pedicures and they fit us in. Its been so long since I live pampered myself so this was a nice treat. The seats have built in back and neck massagers that you can adjust speed and intensity. For what they did, they could have easily charged 50 dollars for but it was only 28 dollars. I was there for an hour. It was so relaxing. Thank you.

I would give this business a 0 of I could. I came into this location and got gel nail and a facial wax. At no time did the technician tell me that they were using a product that could react to my skin. In addition I have 2 nails that have broken from being filed way too thin. I went into the nail salon and spoke very nicely and gently with the man at the front desk. He proceeded to tell me that for my inconvenience and experience, he can fix only the two broken nails. Leaving my other nails in there current state. This place is very unprofessional and the customer service is the worst. I would never never ever go here ever again nor will I allow anyone that I care about to spend their money in this establishment. Meanwhile, I still have a rash and 2 broken nails. There is a nice nail salon in Norwood called Crystal Nails that is way better. Ask for Meghan. Ugh! I have never!!!

I absolutely love this place.Whether I am a walk-in or make an appointment, I am always seen quickly by a technician. The staff is very friendly, and the environment is calm and relaxing.My gel manicures last nicely for about 3 weeks. They have a large color collection and are always getting new colors/collections in as well. The technicians will always let me try out a couple colors if I am unsure of​ which to pick.I recommend​ going for the spa pedicure if you are looking to relax. They give you a nice long leg massage with hot stones. The paint job always comes out very neat and clean.

I went to this place yesterday and it was my first time going to a nail salon. It was a great first experience! The staff was very nice and the lady who was doing my nails continually checked in with me to see if I liked how they were turning out. She did a great job and the place was very quiet and calm. I love this place!

When I first went in for a pedicure first thing to notice is a subtle tranquility with the environment and its staff. Throughout my visit, I was relaxed by soft melodic tones, along with a shiatsu chair massage while having my feet tended to by jovial, polite staff very eager to ensure comfort and enhance the experience of the time spent to be economically pampered.

Worst manicure ever. I went there because this place seems to get a lot of great reviews so maybe I just happened to get the one tech who wasn’t so great. She was pleasant but couldn’t seem to file my nails evenly. I had her try to even them up but ended up going home and doing it myself. Will stick with Keldara even though they are more expensive.Update: I’m gonna go back one more time and try a different tech. Decided to give them 3 stars instead of 1 because the atmosphere is peaceful. They do put effort into making sure patrons silence their phones, refrain from loud conversations and not allow unruly or noisy children to disrupt people who are there to relax.

I have been doing my nails with Judy for over a year. She used to work at Lovely and now she moved to AQ. She is the best! She is meticulous, friendly, thorough and very pleasant.

AQ nail salon is very clean, accommodating and consistent. Upscale spa feel but reasonable prices. Lots of colors and plenty of parking. They work in a timely manor without you ever feeling rushed along. Would highly recommend to anyone.

This salon is new and very clean. I always try to call ahead and make an appointment with KIM. Kim is the best for acrylic nails and nail art. She also does a wonderful pedicure and is meticulous doing an eye brow wax. They dont have a big enough staff yet to accommodate walk-ins immediately - and wait times are sometimes up to an hour. So make sure you call ahead to make an appointment. And request Kim! You wont be disappointed!

Very nice place, quiet, no one talking loud on their cellphones during services. I can call a day in advance, make an appointment and the appointment is honored even when theyre busy. I love that! I get eyebrows, manis, pedis...and Ive been very pleased. I would highly recommend.

Came in the other night with my sister-in-law and was immediately helped despite their short-staff situation. While they had to help us one at a time, they were very professional and attentive. Ive never had such great care taken when it came to my nails. Will definitely be coming back.

AQ nails is a great place to go to. Amazing technicians, great color selection, but most importantly it is clean!!! Everything is sanitized and the girls make sure you are pleased with the outcome. My favorite technician is Kim, I followed her to this place she has been doing my nails for a year and every time I am happy with the ending results. I promise you wont be disappointed!!

I usually love this place they are so so nice and usually do a great job. I’ve also brought my little girls there several times and they do wonderful work and are really sweet. I brought both of my girls there yesterday for manis and pedis and they came out great. I had a pedicure and this time it was not good the polish is all clumpy it looks like I did it myself. There’s no polish on the tips of the toenails either. Unfortunately I’m not sure if I go back . I paid 42 for the pedicure.

AQ Nails is hands down the best place to go to get pampered! Ive been going to AQ Nails now for years. Sunny the owner, is amazing and treats his customers with the utmost respect. You feel comfortable as soon as you walk into the salon with peaceful music playing in the background, big oversized pedicure chairs, and beautiful crystal chandeliers. I recommend AQ Nails to everyone! My favorite pedicure is the Spa Pedi but if youre looking for an extra long foot massage opt in for the Pearl Pedi. Supplies are always clean and sterile and the salon is impeccable!

I received a spa pedicure. She didnt do a very good job, honestly didnt seem to care she was even there. Water temp was cold, stones were lukewarm at best. Callous removal wasnt good.. I wont be going back.

This is a long over due review. My third visit here getting a manicure here. Each time so far, my nails look amazing.

Called to make an appointment pretty late in the day and they were still flexible. Greeted when we walked in even though everyone was busy. They helped guide color selection, and Im glad because the original color I selected was way to light. Two of us got a spa teir 1 pedicure. The pedicure was amazing! My feet are soft and look beautiful. Their was a mint mask for legs and feet, hot towels, callus removal, wax treatment on heels and hot stone message. They also had two kids pedicure chairs with pandas on them that are smaller in size. I got acrylics and my friend got shellac both came out great. I only really had a picture of what I wanted and they came exactly as I visioned them. The women were so nice to speak with. I would reccomend this to anyone in the area.

I used to go to Lovely Nails and when the owner opened AQ as a sister salon and the woman who typically does my nails moved to that location I had to try it. The service and quality is fantastic and not expensive. They are clean and friendly. I would recommend AQ to anyone looking for a good nail salon in the Dedham area.

Clean, professional, and relaxing

I would give this place zero stars if I could. I went in for a shellac manicure that took over 2 hours. Not because it was enjoyable but because no one could get their act together. 4 people working in a big salon with 3 other customers. Then 2 of the nails chipped and I went in to get them fixed and they refused. Tried to get me to book another appointment even though they didnt have any availability that night - 3 appointments on the books. Ill never go here again.

If you really need a time to relax in a nice quiet atmosphere this is the place for you

I used to like AQ nails. The last time I went for a pedicure my nail polish flaked in two days, did not do a good job on my cuticles or shaping my nails. When I called and asked to have the polish redone I was told I may have to pay and I could not walk in and the next appt was 4 days away in the afternoon. I will not be going back to them. Too many nail shops around for me to have to put up with their nonsense.

I like the atmosphere and majority of the ladies do fabulous work. I wish the owner or whoever is monitoring reception desk would greet me better ....I am about to spend money in their establishment and say good bye or thank you when people leave....I did spend money in their establishment.

I truly wish I could give them 0 stars. The owner needs to smarten up and stop being confused all the time. I am so upset with my service, I went with my whole family and the service my sister and I received were ridiculous. My nails were full of air bubbles, under my nails were rough (I got a gel mani and spa pedi), most of my nails weren’t colored in all the way and when I asked the technician to fix it, she said the color will come off and that it looks fine. The person my sister had made her very upset by breaking one of her toe nails which led to her not being able to get a French manicure and leaving the place very upset. I will never go there again and would never recommend anyone to go there as well. If you need to go somewhere, go to lovely nails. Atleast the male owner knows how to do his job unlike the one at AQ nails.

The closing time listed both online and on the door when i arrived said 7:00pm (Sunday). I got there at 6:10pm. The door was locked and there was a woman at the front desk staring at me. I yelled just a pedicure and she just shook her head and kept staring. Uhm. Okay. If you wanted to stop working at 6:00pm, then dont advertise walk ins welcome and dont say youre open if you arent.
