My boyfriend was needing a new AC Unit. I found Higdon Services on the the internet and scheduled them to come out to his house to give a quote based on their reviews. The following day we met with Kyle, received a quote, and a week later came the install. From quote to install they were very professional! Since them installing my boyfriends system, I had a problem at my home on the weekend. Kyle came out, by passed something so I would have air until Monday morning. A little after 8am Kyle showed up and installed a relay and within an hour I had air flow again!If you are needing to find someone to install or repair your unit, do not hesitate to call them. They are reasonable in price, prompt, and most of all, they treat you as you would like to be treated!

This company is top notch! All the guys were great and went above and beyond installing our new HVAC system. Our newly bought home is an older, historic home that had some very interesting quirks included, especially with the wiring and such. We would definitely recommend this company to anyone needing HVAC services, as these guys exceeded our expectations!!!

I called this morning, had an extremely high electric bill and needed someone to come service our units. They communicated when they would be there and showed up in a timely manner. Checked our units and ducts and sent over an estimate for areas that needed to be fixed. Very happy with the service I received!

Excellent service and very well trained. I had called all over Huntsville and Decatur for natural gas log repair and only found one company in Huntsville that was booked through March. Called yesterday (11/10) due to my A/C not working. They were here within the hour and had diagnosed the issue. They were able to other the part next day and installed it today (11/11). They didnt try to sell me anything other than the repair needed. I will continue to us them anytime I have AC issues.

I felt comfortable from the time I met Kyle to provide an estimate of what was required to replace my AC system. The team arrived on time ready to do the work that we negotiated. The first estimate from the company recommended by a Home Warranty company said I had to replace a smaller door to the attic. Higdons recommendation was to disassemble and replace the door, if necessary. Turns out, all that was required was t remove the door fro the hinge. The electric switch on my gas logs stopped working - I wasnt sure who to contact to fix it, but Higdon was definitely the right call. They scheduled my service at my convenience, and Kyle called before coming out, as promised. Kyle was extremely capable and resolved the problem in short measure. They quoted replacement of control board at $1200. A new unit was ordered, shipped, and delivered for $175 and had it replaced for $150 by another reputable company. DO NOT CALL THIS BUSINESS, THEY WILL ROB YOU!

I would like to take a minute to recognize the outstanding work that Kyle and Justin did for us over the last week. We are in the process of selling our home and one of the items that needed to be repaired was our 12 year old gas log fireplace. Kyle was able to evaluate and diagnose the problem efficiently and was very understanding when we realized the required repair was more extensive that we anticipated. He worked with us to come up with a cost effective solution. Justin did such a great job installing a new pilot assembly and gas valve for us. It was not easy to access the valve but he kept at it and had us up and running. They even put back all of the decorative rocks and glass cover. No mess! Great customer service! One of the technicians, Kyle, was very professional and kind. He got our units fan motor replaced and the coils cleaned in less than an hour, all in all. Even knocked off some of the overall price because we had called in for an issue about three weeks prior! Highly recommend!

I have used higdon since 2016 when they put 2 new units in my house. Part of my house, an addition, had no heating or cooling or even ductwork. They installed the 2 separate units as planned, cleaned up from cutting the ceiling to put in registers and even cut me an access to my attic which I did not have before. Great work and they are super nice to work with.

I have had several other instances where I have had to call Higdon for AC work. Never have been disappointed in the service. AC stopped working while I was out of town this past weekend. I called rather late on Sunday evening to leave a message. Service Technician was working on the unit at 8am on Monday morning. The fan motor capacitor had died. The AC was operating immediately after new capacitor was installed. Technician then checked basic unit to ensure proper operation. All is good and cool now. Higdons is my friend.
