Please have Andy teach more classes at night for people that have to work during the day. He does a fabulous job and is very professional. He keeps his clients motivated while having fun.

Errant charges form Planet Fitness again,. PF was great at communication when COVID hit and put memberships on hold. Unfortunately, they only sent out ONE email when they decided in August to open back up, and I was charged.I called and (of course) they wouldnt reverse the charge, so I asked to cancel my membership. Just got billed the other day, so called again. I was told that whomever I spoke to before put a freeze on my account and didnt cancel it.Absolutely no ownership or any willingness to do the right thing here.

I love this gym! It’s always so clean and the General Manager Danny is very kind and personable. Both Danny and his team are always pleasant to be around. I would not go anywhere else, highly recommended!

The worse new staff ever, they need more training on dealing with customers. very very bad quality of customer service. I am so disappointed with the customer service.They keep asking us to show proof of payment because their document show we did not pay for this month.We showed them the proof of the bank to let us in with the bad attitude of the front desk .She was so rude with me yesterday and another oneWith my wife today she asked same question!! . They Need to get better raining using the computer to get information and on how to deal with clients. The manager is the best in solving his staff mistakes.

My first gym membership since I got here was at planet fitness on michigan ave. I couldn’t believe how cheap it was. Moreover, I couldn’t believe that I get to have a PT with my 10$ monthly subscription. Coach Andy is the best!

In late May, I signed up for the $10 monthly Planet Fitness membership. I applied under a promotion that not only waived start-up fees, but also waived the first months fee. Cool. As stated by the contract, my first payment due date would be July 16th. I have records and proof of all of this, by the waySo, sometime around mid June, I randomly receive an e-mail that says my account has been successfully upgraded to the $20 membership. I thought this was weird because... I never signed up for that. It was an e-signed document in my name, but not signed by me.It had only been a few hours since the fraudulent transaction occurred. I called the gym as soon as I saw the e-mail and explained what had occurred. They did not seem interested or concerned. In fact, they told me that because its e-signed, then they cannot determine who was responsible. So... oh well?I tell them to reverse the transaction because its fraud. I didnt do it and Im not going to assume responsibility for it because why should I? After a fuss, they agree to downgrade my account. But, the $20 is still going to be due from my account because its already in the system? And now my payment due date is going to be sooner than it previously was.I tell them to just close my account and they agree but they tell me that my account is still going to be charged. I asked them, hypothetically, if theres no money in the account, then what? Again, they did not seem concerned about that, or the FRAUD that is happening behind their front desk and just told me well cross that bridge when we come to it!. Thanks, Danny. I know in advance that it would overdraft my account.I closed the account and let them deal with it.I know I will get some cookie-cutter response from them about how this isnt apart of their values or how this situation doesnt seem right. Or, maybe they will attempt to tell me that I unknowingly scrolled through a series of prompts and e-signed the document all on my own? Im telling you in advance, I dont care. I dont mind Planet Fitness, but this location is sketchy. Theres another location opening close to me soon, so I am grateful for that.Im posting this review to warn people to look at their contracts and charges. And dont stand by and let them bully you into paying more than what youve agreed to.Gym was clean, tho.

Great location cant wait to go again

Have not been to this place in years. They charged an annual fee that when I tried to get refunded after I asked for cancellation and they turned it into a technicality of reading a contract signed 3 years ago. Do you want to make money form technicalities or providing a service? $39 annual fee for a year that I will not be in your gym!!!! Contractual thievery!!! Tried to reason with these guys and they just will not refund back a money they do not deserve! This is a matter of principle than the money itself! Absolutely shameful!!

They have a lot of good exercise machines to use. Staff is friendly.

I live in Southwest Detroit but, I drive here because of the cleanliness, the machines and customer service. I dont like the Ford Rd. location in Dearborn.

First time there in over a year because of COVID19. Was pleased to see actions were being taken to sanitize equipment and bathrooms regularly. Also masks required which is great.

Planet Fitness in Dearborn on Michigan Ave. is awesome! From the first day they opened, they have always kept the gym spotless. I dont care what time of day you attend, there is someone always cleaning. The manager is very involved in that process. The employees are never standing around doing nothing. I have the Black Card so I visit other locations occasionally, this club beats out all the clubs downriver on work ethics and cleanliness!

It is a very clean gym. All the equipments are amazing, and the team members are friendly and helpful especially the lady Jordan, she was super helpful she oriented me for all the gym facilities and i had the black membership for a very excited rate.

I had a membership before covid-19, then they shut down I called to cancel my membership and was promised a refund of the month they shut down on. Then I called to reactivate my membership then the manager said I wont get a refund and said that owed $160 because my membership wasnt canceled.He wanted ME to show proof because of THEIR poor documentation.So not only did they not honor my refund they wanted to take more money from me.Manager said I cant make a new membership until I paid the fee then I was able to make a membership online. Regardless of his FALSE demands.Manager was very rude and said he cant help mehe said hes the top of the ladder and there was no one above him that cares about my concern, also corporatee cant help me and to basically kick rocks.

Gym trainer has a new position so now I have to go to another location, bummer

Ive enjoyed working out here since it opened, but Ive been really impressed by the way that handled the new covid-19 precautions. They take it very seriously, and let you just worry about getting your workout in.

I got locked out of my locker for half an hour and the guy working was kind enough to help me with the lock good people all together

Best gym ever! I have been a member for years. It is always clean, staff are always cleaning and replenishing disinfectant. During covid, they have followed the cdc guidelines perfectly. I was nervous at first but I’m glad I went. Staff enforces masks with members.

I have 2 different gym memberships planet and LA. but this gym its good and big they open 24hrs, bathroom really clean.. i high recommended

Love this planet fitness (Michigan avenue and Telegraph Road in Dearborn)!!!! It is always immaculately clean and efficiently run. Danny, the manager, and his staff are just amazing. The trainer, Andy, is terrific----he really knows his stuff, motivates me to work harder and achieve my goals, and keeps the workouts fresh and interesting. I have been to other planet fitness locations and this one is the best!!!

They have charged me $80+ since they closed from the covid pandemic in March with no communication that they started charging me again after they initially paused everyones memberships. I was basically just told theres nothing they can do about refunding and that I could find customer service phone number online. Once I called them they said it can only be resolved at the independently owned planet fitness location. Be aware if you have had your account on hold they started charging a couple months ago and will not refund your money.Also was told there was no way for me to contact the manager...Update: this was the email contact they told me to reach out to:Hi Amber, thanks for taking the time to reach out to PFs Social Response Team.We encourage you to speak with your clubs manager with regard to your membership, friend. Refunds are typically handled under the discretion of your home club manager as that all clubs are independently owned and operated. If youre in Dearborn look no further for a great fitness center and gym. Instead of the usual sales tactics for gyms, I was greeted quickly and given a quick rundown of how things work. With the current promotions as well it was hard to refuse the deal, and Im glad I did. Ive been twice since signing up, and I cannot stress how clean and organized this location is. Kudos to the team here

Ive been going to this location since it opened. The facility is always so clean. Danny and his team are always helpful and polite. I complained 2 days ago about lack of upright bikes ( some are out for repairs) . Today there were 2 new bikes. Danny called a friend and borrowed some from another gym. Thanks a bunch Danny!

This gym facility is too small for the number of members seems packed a lot of the time I requested an extra bench set to relieve the wait time and the management seemed to have ignore my ( multiple ) requestsRevised downward again: you will wait if you want to work out your chest still no fourth bench even though there is room for it....

This place is chill, comfortable, clean, and perfect for a novice gym-goer like me. The employees are helpful and friendly, and the manager is also usually out and about interacting with the members. I greatly enjoy coming here.

This Planet Fitness is one of the best ones Ive been to in Detroit metro area. Wayyyyy nicer than the Ford Road one and less crowded as well. Staff is very nice as well.

The best and cleanest planet fitness i’ve ever been to! Every team member is so friendly and so hard working! I recommend the Michigan Ave planet fitness rather than the ford rd one.

Clean and very organized. Spacious so that you never feel cramped or like your in line for a machine, the gym is nice and cool when your working out and has a friendly staff. I am a black card member and come frequently and I can honestly say that the rates are low, the gym is spotless and people are friendly and will offer great advice to help. No “bros” here!

Cool people who work there. People are not judgemental here. I get in and get out. It stays busy but you still can handle your business.

Loving my experience went to the front desk today and asked Joseif they had a paper with the machines on them that tell you what they do. I was so embarrassed when he came out from behind the desk and said what are you needing help with I said my shoulder thats the machine right here see it has a picture of it I said well I didnt even know that and now I do.Jose was really helpful in showing me a few machines and the personal trainer and said he can help if I need any help. So far Im liking the place its my 3rd visit.

Dont send Now Open announcements in the mail if you are not open! Been waiting on this gym to open for awhile now since its so close to home, hope its a nice gym once you finally get it together.Update:: They have been open for some months now and I have had no problems with the facility, always clean, and employees are really friendly!! Its a clean environment with attentive staff and plenty of equipment.

Some staff members in this location doesnt seem to know what it means about fundamental business ethics (how to treat customers). Gaining a customer takes a bit, but just losing one is very trivial. Good luck Planet fitness.

One of the newest Planet Fitness gyms in Southeast Michigan. Excellent facility with new equipment and brand new renovations. Rarely a wait for any equipment. Staff is friendly. The Black Card facilities are a nice touch, although largely limited to hydro massage, tanning and massage chairs.

My home gym... Ive been to several PFs around Metro Detroit... This is by far the cleanest around... its kind of hard to find off of the street, but its located across the back lot of the Nissan Dealership where the old Toys R Us used to be

Beautiful Gym! I have been going to the Taylor/Westland PF but this one is a little nicer. So far so good!!! Yes they did take forever to open but I wouldnt hold it against them. Ignore the other reviews.

Generally love this and all planet fitness. But it seems like theyre all packed now. Unless all I wanted to do was the treadmill without stretching first or get there super early, itll be great. But theres always a wait on everything

For the price you cant beat it, they have treadmills and lots of weight lifting machines. And the employees are nice!

Nice, clean gym. Plenty of equipment, but gets pretty busy around 5 pm on weekdays as youd expect. It has the usual Planet Fitness shortcomings; i.e. dumbbells only go up to 60 pounds, Smith machines only, no real squat racks or benches.

I like this location in regards to the cleanliness and staff. But I must warn: 3 pm to 8 pm it’s packed. I have a hard time find available equipment during these hours.

Its a decent gym, like there are plenty of machines to work out on, and the place has an unbeatable price. But here is my complaint, they advertise as no douchebags but there are quite a few people who still slam weights and such.

I usually would never bash a place and leave but the experience I had is horrific try bringing a guest Even though I had black card they disrespected them so bad I called it all the way up to head quarters they can care less horrible, customer service. They scam you with their fees I am disgusted by this place and it’s service
