Im going to have to give it two stars because there is no elevator. You have to walk up three flights of stairs. This is a real hassle when youre moving furniture in like sofas sleepers big mattresses you have to make the turn around the corner at the top on each tier. It is definitely not handicap friendly unless youre living on the first floor.

Its been a week and a half and I still have not seen or heard from maintenance, but Ive seen them everyday picking up trash and walking all around my building. Still they do not come and fix my blocked up kitchen sink so I dont have to wash my dishes in my tub, or my kids an use their shower and sink because the kitchen sink and thier bathroom ties in together. The maintenance is horrible here, and so is the rest of the staff here . Ive not had any good experiences with staff since I first moved in here.

Do Not I repeat DO NOT MOVE HERE!! Yes it is cheap but it is definitely not worth your peace!The assistant Manager( the gentleman) is very rude and unprofessional!! He should not be working in a front office dealing with residents!! My ac is not working for the 15th time in a year (yes you read that right) and he just looked me in my eyes and told me that it’s not an emergency someone will get to it soon but not today...So I stated Ac becomes an emergency when the thermostat is above 80 degrees which it is and he stated while it’s raining outside right now so you should be fine until someone gets to it... What!!! I have three kids and one has really bad asthma so no we won’t!!! He says well I’m the only one here so someone will get to it when they get to it(as he’s walking away).How unprofessional!!! You have a job because of the residents not the other way around!!

I would not recommend living in Wedgewood. The residents through trash everywhere. These people are slum lords.

Worst place ever to live! Bedbugs, mold in the closet, in the bathroom and I have a one year old daughter. I would not recommend anyone to live here honestly it’s just the worst. Ac always breaking, and maintenance is horrible!!! They never come when you need them.

There has been recent turn over in administration. Prior to this new administration, it would take months, if ever, for someone to respond to a maintenance request. I recently needed a repair to my dishwasher, which was done properly for a change. While maintenance was inside my apartment, I told him about a bedroom door that I have been requesting to be fix for a number of months. I was advised that he couldnt completely fix the door for me now due to it needing to be replaced, however, he took the time to look at the door and provide me with a temporary fix until the new door comes in. I was extremely happy that he took the time to even look at my other issue since it was not on his work order. I feel, that the right administration is in place and they are really attempting to turn this property around. Thanks!!

This is the worst place anyone could possibly live. I have had this apartment for about 4 years and the AC never works. After putting in multiple request online and calling they would come and change the mash thing and then say it’s works. Which it never does. Then the maintenance guy said that they told the manager that a new ac was needed. I literally had to call Orlando and tel them I was going to sue them to get the ac replaced. Imagine living in Florida during the summer with no AC. They finally replaced the AC and now it’s not working again. It’s currently 90 degrees in this apartment and I have been calling the emergency line for hours and no one has showed up. My sons skin is starting to break out with eczema again because of the heat. When I asked to be transferred to a different unit I was told I have to reapply and pay all the fees and deposit all over again. This makes absolutely no sense.

I submitted a maintenance request but no one came out and fixed anything yet.

My first apartment technically. You can tell the buildings are older but accomodations were proper. Miss it sometimes.

I had a list of repair requests. Only 1 was done. These repair requests were submitted on more than one occasion.

Had to call the after hour emergency number, a guy named Brian came right away.

After reading all of the Bad Reviews yeah Ill definitely pass on this place we was gonna call & see if they had any openings but NO THANKS!! Where Im at now is a little of pricey but the owners are very friendly & She will at least work with you!! Also you have No One that bothers you its nice & quiet try The Florida Motel Efficiency at least yall dont have to go through hell here... HAVE A NICE DAY!!

Don’t not move to this cesspool they call apartments. The worst management team ever, nothing ever gets done. From the trash piling up, to your Air conditioner from the early 90s is constantly breaking, mold, BED BUGS. Your AC is broke? Sorry if it’s not 95 + outside it isn’t an emergency and you’ll have to wait your turn is an actual response I have gotten, In the middle of summer with a new born baby. I urge anybody reading this to find somewhere else this place will give you nothing but headaches.

Everyone just sits in the office giving people the run arounds. No one takes their job seriously. You have to repeatedly press them about an issue. Everyone acts so clueless & won’t send you any help unless it’s an ‘emergency’.AWFUL MANAGEMENT

The people who reside at wedgewood fail to throw the trash in the dumpster, and leaves the entire trash bags in the middle of the parking lot. Non the less, the trash bag opens up and all the trash is everywhere. The sad part is when maintenance leaves the trash in the parking lot for three (3) days untouched.. I hope one day the residents realize that others live here and would not like to be embarrassed by the community they live in.

Affordable housing

Ive lived in this complex several times Ive yet to encounter a problem with any of the staff. Every time I need help they are always willing to help me and go out of their way to do so. I believe its a great place to live you just have to give it a chance (ESPECIALLY FOR THE PRICE).

Save your money sometimes finding something cheaper isnt worth it. Ive posted pictures of the damages but they keep removing them....... so what does that tell u

This place has the worst workers. After filling an application they called us every day for 2 weeks to go fix errors or fill out more papers. One of the employees even said we were going to get approved. Save your 75$ fee per peraon.

A community that Ive lived in 3 times since the 1990s and this staff by far is the BEST!!! Our community may struggle yet this staff maintains a steadfast and loving approach. I have made my own issues and I still feel AT HOME!!!

Worse place to live. Terrible residents. People dont know put the trash in the dumpster. Piles of garbage everyday. Pest problems. The office people are Very Rude and hateful. I put my 60 day notice in after 3 months. I cleaned my apartment and didnt leave anything behind they took my $780 deposit and said I still owe then $146 more dollars. I had no damages. I had mold under my sink and in my bathroom. I wouldnt advise anyone to live there.

I would give 0 if I can. Complex is disgusting, park was always filled with trash. Trash compactor was always overflowing into the parking lot and not cleaned up for weeks. Property manager will smile in your face and then not follow through on what she said. Maintenance entered apartment without notifying residents or leaving a note saying they did enter the premises.

My Husband and I have lived at Wedgewood for 4 years but as time went along the area and neighbors started to get worse. It was to noisy that we had to complain multiple times to the front office and call the cops, there were always poisonous spiders which my mom got bit by them twice, and there is a bad case of MOLD in the complex which started to spread all over the bathroom and the walls which then forced us to move out and throw away all of our belongings. My husband and I were not happy at all so we moved to something better because we did not want to raise our newborn child in a poorly well kept complex.

Older Lady there was rude. Came in for information regarding leasing and she acted as if she didnt have nor care to have the time, even towards my child!!! Especially when we said we were over income ( seeing as this is affordable housing) No Sincere sorry just sol. I cant see how they expect to lease apartments with that kinda of attitude.

Its only a roof over my head. The office closes at five or six on Sat and closes pool also etc. I just checked my mail (located by office/pool) at seven fifteen and there are ten kids and a couple of adults in the pool. BS They never kept it open for me *minority*. I read all reviews since I last posted and the only good ones are written by people who cannot even write/talk in english or at least proper/understood. Complete bull.

Ever since the new management, Pinnacle, weve been having problems. One of my roommates immovable car got towed, with the parking decal on it. We even notified the leasing office when the mechanic would arrive to fix the car beforehand, and they assured us the car would be okay. We woke up the next morning and the car was gone. The leasing office refused to resolve the issue until we got our parents involved. They dont respect mature, young adults as residents. The communication between staff and residents is horrible. Both gates to the entrances are always broken, so dont rely on the safety of them.

DO NOT I repeat DO NOT move to Wedgewood Apartments yes it is ONE of the cheapest apartments in daytona but it is not worth itIve lived here for a total of 2 years and it is HORRIBLE never will I refer anyone and never will I allow anyone to move hereMaintenance is horrible they are not qualified nor have the skills to be a maintenance worker they cannot fix anything they lay their hands on they simply do what they know based on their knowledge it does not come from any training nor School my AC has been broken since I moved in and for the entire two years Ive lived here all they do is patch on the AC and the unit I live in finally got a new AC one month before my lease ends the office staff is horrible every time I needed something done to the apartment or needed help with something it took me a minimum of two days to reach anyone if you need an office assistant you have to go in person they dont believe in answering phones they are rude inconsiderate Liars and thieves not only did they lie and lose an entire rent check but also try to say I owed money that I did not owe I contacted corporate for each situation and it was handled accordingly needless to say if you want something done and you live in Wedgewood you must contact corporate Point Blank. Dont move here!!!!!!

All things considered when you see how big this apartment complex is, Wedgewood really earns my recommendation as a resident to live here. My wife and I have only rented in 4 places, all of them fall short compared to Wedgewood. The office staff is very friendly, they work with you if you just ask, maintenance is very responsive. The only reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is because 5 stars in my book is perfection. The office really needs more staff. I would imagine that having such a huge complex you would think they would have a call center handling the phones but they dont. I have been successful with getting my requests handled from email, but calling is a different story. Again, this seems to be a staffing problem but overall Wedgewood will remain our home.

They will steal your money in a heart beat. Connie who works in the front told me to leave my children at a orphanage to move into a two bedroom. They are very judgemental and will take your money for a background check and a holding fee and will never call you again.

Ive been in wedgewood apartments for one year and I love it the people in the office are really nice.

Its a horrible place to live. Kids are always running up and down the stairs, There is trash everywhere and the dumpster area is even worse. The peiple that live above me smoke marijuana EVERY SINGLE DAY and the smell comes through the vents and is a permanent thing in my home smh. I would suggest people NOT to move out here period.

They have the worst communication with the residents. They let anyone live here and dont do anything about noise complaints. They charge you for unnecessary things, and they give zero explaination for things asked. Ridiculous! I hate this place and Ill never live here again!

Wedgewood is a complete joke and they took my money and told me i could get the 100 back and when i went to get it back they told me i was 2 days late on geting it back the assistant maneger is a stupid bi**h that told a girl that she would have to put her kids up for adapion so she could qualify to move in i mean this place is a JOKE !!!!! Dont even waste your time. for 3 weeks they assured me i was in good shapre to get the apartment, dragged their feet on getting my paperwork together and sent to compliance. then conpliance came back and said we didnt qualify afterall because of income. bullshit... we make a combined 37000 a year and the cap is 49000 so please tell me how we make too much because we might get a 25 cent raise this year at our job! the leasing agent and the manager told us two totally different reasons why we couldnt qualify! new management company, same sorry ass leasing agents.

I havent really been a fan of the apartments until I read the negative reviews. Wedgewood used to be horrible and quite disqusting but it has moved up alot. Yeah, every now and again someones trash would slip off of the trunk or hood as they were transporting it to the only dumpster the facility has. Not that that is any excuse not to pick up your own mess but thats the person, not the staff. Two, black people hanging outside watching the girls go by.....duh... I am happily commited in my relationship but if I was just a guy, hanging with the guys and a beautiful lady walks by uhhhhh, okay. Wedgewood has even hooked up with the DBPD and continuously patrol throughout the night and early morning to make sure all the foolishness that used to happen doesnt. So slow down people. If the apartments arent for you.... theyre just not for you. This is coming from a hard-working family man that has been there for 3 years.

We are trying to relocate there - one minute they were sending us an application for a 2-2 and then I called, and the lady was abrupt and said well, we work first come, first serve, but we are in Texas.
