The neighborhood is dangerous. You can hear the neighbors arguing at night, a few gunshots will ring out from time to time, not a place you want to stay. The maintenance and management are really nice but I feel as if they dont do much when it comes to safety concerns. This neighborhood used to be really nice and it all went down the drain. Plus the rent is outrageously high but in this economy what do you expect. I hope they dont consider this to be a luxury apartment
We moved in from out of state after selling our house and We needed a place quickly and when I tell you Mo helped us move in short notice, I had never encountered such patience and upbeat energy. The long term staff (MO, Fizzah, Angel, Juan) are great. They do a great job taking care of our needs promptly. The problem is that this is simply an older complex and alot of issues have arisen with it. The staff can only do what they are able to, and I appreciate that. The 3 stars arent for the lack of service or the *look* of the apartment. Instead its for the price of the apartment with it being as old and outdated. There have been nice updates but they just need to gut this place and start over in order for it to be worth the price. Location is great though!
After applying for a unit I was informed I needed additional proof of income. I receive child support for both of my daughter’s. I emailed notary signed/dated letters indicating how much both fathers contribute monthly. Unfortunately per the manager this wasn’t acceptable proof of income since it wasn’t from the court. My feedback would be there is more than one way to receive monthly child support other than Texas Attorney General. I was denied based off income! I’m very displeased with the services I received. Anyone applying keep this in mind so you’ll save yourself the disappointment of a denial and unnecessary credit report!!
We have lived here since September, the staff is very friendly! Very peppy and upbeat, I love the office staff for they’re very easy to communicate with. Mo and fizzah have worked with us since day one, they are very personable! The apartments have a nice layout and very roomy for a reasonable price. The only complaints I have is that in the 4 1/2 months we’ve been here we have smelled weed constantly since day one. I have chronic migraines and the lingering smells definitely don’t help. The other thing is that since we’ve been here there have been 3 separate police encounters right by our apartment with other residents. Gunshots literally outside our window, loud residents, and residents holding fugitives. I almost have a fear of feeling safe here and it’s only been a little over 4 months. My only advice would be to have stricter criminal background checks. I’d like to feel safe in my home.
Thin walls, you can hear everything your neighbors do. Hardware (towel holders) falling off when we moved in, put in many maintenance requests for so many things that never got fixed. Including a solar screen they claimed was damaged when I finally moved out. It didnt used to be this bad but the breeze ways are disgusting, littered with cigarettes, trash and sticky spills and messes that attract all kinds of bugs and wild life. Amd the number one huge issue is the disgusting roaches that have completely taken over. Pest control is included in your rent so why when I call for pest control they dont continue to treat until the issue is resolved? Save yourself and do not rent from here.
Ima take my 5 star review back and give it a 3 star only because of the staff and ridiculous prices. The staff never follow up on something that you call for if you have a concern about something and if they do it takes them forever to send a response. Monica is very unprofessional and rude and she supposed to be the manager. We had concerns about notices we were receiving and she told my spouse she was going to hang up the phone because she didn’t know what else to tell him. The prices for a 1 bdrm is ridiculous even for a downgraded one. The only good thing is the unit comes with washers and dryers. These people have they kids all in the middle of the street with no one watching them. Now that they’ve changed the Texas gun law I recently saw a man walking behind me and my daughter with either an Ak47 or rifle gun holding it toward his chest without it being in a case ( very scary ). Called the office about that did they do anything no? I had to tel my daughter to hurry up and walk faster because he was going to the same building as us.
Mo is the absolute best! She has taken her time to work with me over the last 2 months. I had actually put my notice in to leave from these apartments but she found the perfect apartment with the perfect price just for me. I thank k you from the bottom of my heart for your hard work! I also have to give the maintenance men a shout out. As soon as I put in a request, they are at my apartment the next fixing any issues! Israel and team are great! Xoxoxo
ALL I CAN SAY IS ... AWESOMENESS!! i havent even moved in yet, but Mo is the best and she has helped this transition be nothing but the best. EVERYONE is super nice and super sweet, complex is neat and clean, and seems to be very quite. Keep up the great work ladies..
Warning! dont move here ! Roaches, bed bugs, drugs in walk way and very noisy neighbors, it dont matter if you make complaints, they do nothing. The worst experience ever.
I wish they would have a 1/2 of star ⭐️ because that’s EXACTLY!!!! What this apartment deserves. The office itself let anyone getting inside of your apartment without your permission. Your own belongings are NOT saved on your own place because the office is so incompetent.
Awesome place to live. The employees are always friendly and whenever my home has an issue they send maintenance as quickly as possible.Beware the excess move-out charges though and be sure to put a 60-day notice in because you will be charged even if youre not living there anymore.Aside from hidden fees it was still a nice place to live.
If i didnt have to move, i wouldnt.• The staff are super friendly & have gone out of their way to be helpful.• Never ever once saw a single cockroach.• Maintenance is pretty good.• Playgrounds, play areas & pools are well kept.• a bit noisy at times. This is a community full of families. So most of the noise comes from kids. Kids can be loud. So what?• You get 1 FREE covered parking spot• Very reasonable rent rates
As a person who has lived in the most ghetto apartments all throughout Dallas I have to say these are not the worst apartments in the world, as a matter of fact these are probably the nicest apartments Ive lived in. That being said these apartments are still bad and deserve no more than 2 stars. The apartments themselves are pretty good and have a nice layout with good appliances but thats pretty much it. Everything else is just terrible, the people here are loud, ghetto and stereotypical. The smell of weed runs throughout the property and you can even see people smoking weed in their porches. These people will play loud music at any given time of day. There are constant children running throughout the property unsupervised and groups of teens walk around screaming at the top of their lungs in the street with no regards to oncoming cars. Teenage girls wearing little to nothing walking around with teenage boys with no respect or proper upbringing. This is just a bad place live in and it seems like management is more than happy to accommodate these trashy people. The staff here are pretty decent not the best but not the worst except for this one Hispanic lady with the worst attitude and will question youre whole existence. I once went to pick up a package left at the front office and gave her my apt number, she then stood in front of me and with the rudest face and voice asked who are you, are you even on the lease? I replied I came here for my package, you have no right to withhold my property from me so give me my mail, dont concern yourself with me, concern yourself with what will happen if you dont give me whats mine...and yes Im on the lease Ive lived here for 3 years. Come to find out she just an assistant.... save yourself the headache and skip this place... every year it gets worse and worse.
I actually revised my original review but its only because I had to take it to the next level and get the corporate office involved with my issues before they were resolved... The office staff has improved some but I still believe that there is a lot of work to be done at this complex. The young ladies representing the apartments need to learn social skills and customer service because at the end of the day the tenants are the ones who are paying the rent.
I am a current resident of Carrolton Park. The staff are very friendly and the apartment grounds (pool, trash, playgrounds, dog park) are very well kept. Any time I put in a maintenance request they respond very quickly. For the price in this area these apartments are a pretty good deal. I will be renewing my lease in January for sure.
So, I lived here about 7 years ago. I was new to Dallas and didnt know much about the area, so I went with this place after a locator sent it to me. The community is right next to a train track and it is LOUD. Parking was a nightmare, the staff was hit or miss on being any type of helpful and they dont do well with follow ups. The units are also cheaply built and you can certainly hear your neighbors.I have lived at other properties prior to now and never had an issue. All of a sudden, the apartment that I most recently applied for called saying they sent a verification fax to Carrollton Park on Thursday and again on Friday. It went unanswered. They are the only place holding me up from signing my new lease. I called and spoke to someone who says she does the rental verifications and she verified the fax number. The new place sent another fax that went unanswered. I called Saturday and someone put me on hold for a while and then let me know the fax had been down and asked me to have the new apartments send an email with the verification. Today, I get notification that Carrollton Park is saying I have a balance of $318.88. I was never notified via mail, email or phone of an outstanding balance. I called Carrollton Park back to see what the balance is for and to pay so I can sign my new lease and the person who answered couldnt tell me what the charges are for and the number provided goes to a voicemail that says theyll get back with you in 2 business days. Theyve already held up the application process by 5 days. So now I need to wait another 2 days just to discuss a balance and pay it? Sounds about right for Carrollton Park. At this point, Id be okay wit just talking to someone to pay the amount just to be completely done with them.
I have lived here almost a year and love it! I live probably in the noisiest part of the complex and it isnt bad. There are all types of people here, but no different than anywhere else. I love the fact that I can pay rent online without having to pay additional fees for doing so. When I moved in I realized that it is a super huge complex and dont have expectations of maintenance requests being taken care of immediately but they have always been very timely.
I have lived here 6 months and up until now Ive have been super satisfied...that is until today. I go online to review to assure my rent payment was applied to my account and it has....along with an additional $50 late fee. The late fee was applied due to the fact that the complex does not have a night drop box. Keep in mind my money order was dated 02/29/2016. Not everybody has work hours that will allow them to always take off to go in and personally hand their rent to an apartment agent. In my opinion, this is a way to get extra money out of their tenants. I have never been late on my rent. Much to my regret, prior to this happening I had signed a 14 month lease. One thing for sure is, at then end of that lease I will be moving. I definitely do not recommend this complex for this reason.
This place is amazing my granddaughter has so much fun here with friends and she found her true love here.
We lived here in 2013/2014 moved to be closer to school but moved back immediately because it literally is the best place to live. The office ladies take care of you as well as the maintenance men. They are always treating us with the utmost respect. If I could give more stars I would!
I am actually glad I went with my gut on this one. I drive through this complex at different hours of the night before deciding to lease all due the The horrible reviews. I’ve been here for almost 5months and I’ve experienced no line of the crazy things others have mentioned. Every so often some ones stereo is loud...🤷🏽♀️ But so what I have 2 kiddos I have to remind Often to quite down or not to runs. For the longest I would say that I never see anyone hanging out in the complex it’s quite peaceful. All the neighbors pretty much stay to themselves. There where a few billing issues the first month I lived But that was cleared up quickly and with compromise. As for maintenance my heat went out New Years night 1am They where there! Can right over the piece needed they weren’t able to get for a few days but the customer service was not bad what so ever like some of the reviewers has suggested or experienced, We had a really long rainy period which made the carport seem to lean one day I out a request in online....next day I noticed two new metal support beams had been added. I’m not sure why to the reviews here mention guns and fires my experience so far have been completely on the other side of the spectrum. I usually don’t leave reviews but I wouldn’t want anyone to miss out on anything but know seeing both sides. Oh, one suggestion when I looking at apartment reviews try filtering my reviews with 2,3,or 4 stars. So you can see the ones that are not bias where the tenants are not super angry at the moment or super excited.. idk it’s like you get to see the middle ground I guess. GOOD luck in your search ☺️
They have roaches. Overpriced apartments. Run
Roaches!😳😳😳😳. They use their staff as puppets stating that they couldn’t fill out my release forms for me to move to a new apartment because it wasn’t signed. When I handed it to them personally. I had to come to the office when staff was in the office and you could tell she still didn’t want to fill the forms out. I have never paid my rent late. They never fix things timely. I was with a broken stove for almost the entire time I’ve been here. The AC went out in the middle of the summer on a weekend and the maintenance guy refused to fix it until Monday in hundred degree weather. I can’t wait to give some else my money. I honestly hate it here.
The previous ratings are pretty accurate. I had a roach issue in my apartment the last 5 months I lived here due to a dirty resident that was evicted next door. Kids always running around unsupervised destroying the property and pool. Office staff and maintenance are very friendly. If you live in the back of the complex, the train shakes the apartment a little so stuff may fall off walls. I stayed for the decent pricing and left due to everything else.
Not as bad as it seems. Okay to move into and a whole lot better than the surrounding apartments. Mixed income community. Office management is fair. Property manager could be a little bit nicer, but the attitude comes with the territory. Maintenance is good. I called after five to have my A/C checked out and they showed up and fixed it right away.
WORST PLACE EVER! DONT RENT HERE!!! Charged me for breaking my lease when I payed my final month in full and then some and turned the keys in 4 days early. Property manager hung up on me when I called for an explanation. Charged me a subletting fee for breaking lease...did I already say didnt break lease. Lease was up 5/31/17. Payed May rent in full. Was trying to be nice by turning keys in early. When there were power outages the security gates would not open, which drew concern in the event there was a fire how are people supposed to get out of parking lot?!?!? And when gates should be closed they would stay open. Trash areas were always dirty and overflowing with trash all over outside dumpster since dumpster was too full. The apartment was filthy when we moved in and when I pointed that out was told it wasnt that big of a deal and that I could clean it or if they had it cleaned would charge me. The tub and tiles were resurfaced and paint started peeling immediately after move in. Was told I could pay to have it resurfaced. The kids were always tearing things up around the property.! Submit work requests and it would take 2-3 days at best to address. Missing plates for wall plugs and had to ask many times for about 3 months before corrected. Drawers in kitchen broken and when pointed out at move in was told its not that big of a deal. Now theyre trying to get me for over $2000. Oh...I took plenty of pictures at move in and move out. Time to lawyer up. Plan on filing a counter suit.
Despite what the reviews say, these are actually very pleasant apartments. The staff are always very nice when I go to the office. Every time I make a service request, maintenance comes within 24hrs. I also have great neighbors. And I love that my Childrens school shares a fence with the apartment. I can walk to and from really quick. The only down side I can think of and probably the only reason im going to rate it 4 stars and not 5 is because once your lease is up and u have to sign on for another 6, 9 or 12 months or whatever you choose the price increase. And if you choose to lease every 6 months by the end of the two years itll go from paying 950 to pay like 1,050. So if you do plan on staying for a while use the longest lease which I think is 14months.
WHAT IN THE WORLD,Today I moved into my apartment and there were roaches EVERYWHERE. At my old apartment there were no roaches and now there are roaches EVERYWHERE. I had to bomb the place and spray dont judge a book by its cover it looks nice but is DISGUSTING. Cant wait to move and its my first day here
I understand people is hard to please, but compare to other apartments close to the dallas tollway that are way more expensive, this apartments are nice and very affordable, something to mention is that they fix anything or anything that goes wrong at your apartment within 24 hours and for my experience the office and maintenance staff are very nice . Kids and loud cars are every where but for the most part at least on my side of the building most of the time is quiet, people should base ratings on their real experience not on stuff they ask for that sometime is hard too accomplish or non realistic request . I took the time to write this review based on the fact that their google reviews and score do not reflect the great job they done so far at least for me, till something bad happens my opinion will reflect the truth . keep up the great job and work on the areas to improve .
I had a Super tough transition to Texas, and I’m glad to say Carrington Park will be my new home!! Trey assited me like no other and did an fantastic job with finding the right apartment for me. He has friendly service skills and is very professional. I’m here to stay!!!
The worst experience Ive ever had at any apartment.. The apartment it self is not that bad, you pay for what you get. The problem I have is with the people running the apartments. Before I moved in, the leasing agents were nice, helpful, and sort of professional. Once I moved in all of that quickly changed.. The washer and dryer that I rented from them stopped working, took the complex two weeks to replace it. Seemed like no one in the office ever communicated with each other to pass messages along.. The manager of the complex, seems like she takes pride in being rude.. The only time that I received a quick response back, was after I threatened to complain to their corporate offices.. Im just hoping someone reads all the negative comments before they move in. I wouldnt wish this on anyone.
There are several things that need attention. A few long term resident feel that they are moving in persons that are pulling the complex down. Those of us who have lived her for very long time are not being treated right.
Getting you administration fee of $125.00 is impossible.. Before you have them run your application you need to know ...1. They do not accept any income that cannot be verified by a company check.2. You have to have two years of income.3. They do not take a co-signer.4. You cannot pay for the entire lease up front. In other words pay a 3 month lease in full before you move in.5. They keep you application fee of $50 and you cannot get your administration fee back.
I own a Luxury Townhome nearby . My nephew whom I visit everyday, has a 1bdrm apartment at Carrollton Park . I wil go as far as to say that, Carrollton Park Apartment community, is a valuable piece of the fast paced growth, and development of our city .
In the beginning I didnt really have any issues with the complex until a repair needed to get done and they never received my work order. Then as time passed we had an issue with people in the school parking lot, people parking in my parking spot and the trash overflowing. New neighbors moved in who were always loud and smoked weed and informed the office but they couldnt do anything. After almost 2 1/2 years I had enough and moved out, but still am having issues. It has been 3 weeks and Im still having an issue with them letting the appliance company come by to pick up their items. Ashley is the sweetest person they have working there as far as everyone else rude and unprofessional. Now apparently they cant let them in without the manager being present and conveniently she is not in the office. Everyday that passes and they dont collect their merchandise its costing me a fee and they sure in the hell are not going to pay. Moving out I have received they WORST service ever. How can they call themselves LUXURY apartments but the security gate is always broke, the basketball court has not been cleaned or mopped in years and there is always trash all over the complex from over flowing trash cans and nasty neighbors. Will not recommend this complex to anyone.
Update: Maintenance caused a fire this past Friday afternoon that completely destroyed 24 units, damaged cars and killed pets. A maintenance worker started a fire while trying to repair something with a blow torch inside an apartment. The wall backing caught fire, it spread to the roof, the roof and balconies collapsed and then the entire building. The media is reporting that only 3 apartments were destroyed but 24 were actually destroyed, the pets inside killed and over 2 dozen families displaced. A few years ago the covered parking awnings collapsed and damaged a ton of cars and it took over a year for management to repair it. My balcony is dangerously leaning to the point that I will never go out there. This place is old and has never been renovated or updated. Dishonest, disorganized, unprofessional staff. The staff is completely incompetent. Office is full of unhelpful idiots who will lie to sell your apartment to you. These apartments are dangerous and ghetto. Constant smell of weed wafting through vents and throughout the property. Cars driving through the lot all hours of the night blasting loud rap music with the base shaking my apartment. There is a designated play area for kids but there are lots of teens and pre-teens playing in the parking lots, roaming the property and being loud. This place looks kinda nice during the day but turns into the ghetto projects at night. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this place. You WILL regret leasing here if you do. These are definitely NOT luxury apartments. If you are ghetto from the projects or slums of Mexico like subsequent reviewer Cesar G., then you will love it here. This place is not worth the rent charged. Also they refuse to exterminate. I put in a few service requests for extermination that have been closed without them doing anything. My ghetto neighbors got evicted and their little pests have migrated to my apartment. This place is such a roach and rat infested dump
Please do not waste your hard earned money . Management needs massive improvement. Polices are outdated and need to be more aligned with 2018. It is ridiculous to have to contact the office to find out your rent payment because they revoke your online access for third party errors and have been provided proof. Things are not truly fixed just rigged to shut you up. Gates just started to close a month ago, that’s only because so many cars were broken into. The mailbox’s are constantly littered with mail all over the place fingers crossed your identity isn’t being stolen. If I could provide zero stars I would . Please take heed to this WARNING You can find a much better place to live .
They are the rudest staff ever. Especially to kids. If ur visiting friends then its not trespassing. They claimed to be called a B**** by one of my kids and couldnt even point out which one. There were at least 9/10 kids out there. My kids arent disrespectful in no form because they know better and that u should treat others how u want to be treated. The property manager isnt any better than the other employee.....being disrespectful and taking her side no matter if they were there or not. If its so private, the front gate should never be unlocked. I never saw the front gate locked when we lived there but Im glad we dont anymore. Their rudeness is unnecessary.
Overall, this has been a terrible experience. My roommate and I relocated to Dallas in May from Memphis and Seattle. On the first day we moved in, we witnessed an eviction and lots of stragglers walking around the complex. Maintenance takes several days for repairs. The office staff always has snippy attitude. Property is always dirty. Trash areas overflow with bags and bags of exposed trash most days. Breezy ways are littered with pigeon poop. We had a pigeon living on our patio, it took multiple days for them to come and put repellent down and when they did, they did not clean the droppings, we had to call back and ask. Gates are consistently broken. There is a train that is no where in sight but is garaunteed to wake you out of your sleep every night. DO NOT MOVE HERE. YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!
Do not move here! They do not take care of their tenants and you pay an outrageous price for these rundown apartments. Management acts like you are nothing. Take heed of all of these terrible reviews they get. There is a reason.
I am a current resident and let me just say the ladies in the front office are the rudest women I have ever come across. Anytime I needed something they made me feel like I was huggin them or causing an issue. If I’m not mistaken that’s your job! The one with a blonde hair is always so snappy and attitudenial. They all lack customer service skills. They should all take a note from the maintenance men, they are always friendly, kind, and helpful.
The apartments themselves are not bad. The maintenance is usually quick on the spot. My problem lies with the management team in the front office. They are uncoordinated and lack total communication. Which makes for poor work ethics. I wouldnt suggest living here but there are worse places to live. And better!
For not a super great area of town the pricing is a bit much. They are doing a TON of construction currently making it difficult to get in to the office. The current last working there also seems put off that people are coming in looking to move. Not worth the hassle!
My only problem was the lady that lived above me, she apparently had elephant feet. She walked very hard. I even had problems with her children playing balls in the apt, and being loud. I really liked the apartment. I never had any issues from management would consider going back. But upstairs only.
They have a kids park, beach volleyball court, and you have your own place to park your car.
This is where one of my family members stay and its a nice apartment and nice pool the pool changes colors
I dont recommend ANYBODY stay here!!! first of all, the landlords and maintenance suck!!! they dont get anything done!!! we had to call the police twice because they let anybody come into the complex !! weve had tenants come to OUR door with drama and we called the office to report it and they never did anything, and now they arent renewing our lease because of their lack to control their tenants theyre unprofessional!! and not to mention allllll the damn roaches !!!! and ants !!! weve been seeing roaches since we moved in last year !!! and the kids are always in the street even kids who dont live on the premises!! the neighbors speed through the area and theres hardly anywhere for visitors to park!! we had our A/C shut off twice and once had to have our heat fixed during the winter!! and trash is everywhere!!! its a little too ratchet for my liking for it to be carrollton and im soo glad were moving from this roach fest !!! thanks for nothing !!
The apartments were beautiful and personally I wish I could live their myself
Well, well, well... I honestly don’t know where to began. Let’s start with the roach infestation. We were moved into an apartment that was completely and utterly INFESTED. I took photos of the residue and eggs that we found the FIRST NIGHT. SO infested that a roach was found in my 2 year old’s nasal canal. We contacted Jamie Gresham (the manager at the time) and she had no sympathy, no concern and did not apologize not one time. Also Monica, the assistant manager. They have no heart or conscious. I took my child to children’s emergency department following this event. Furthermore, I found small roaches in my 1 year old’s bottle. Again, no sympathy, no apology, no compensation. We also had to get several of our electronics repaired due to the bugs nesting inside of our electronics. At this point, the city of Dallas code of compliance had came out twice already. They were frustrated with this complex as well. These people in the office are completely noncompliant. They do not even care about the health risk. We also experienced MOLD, twice. This is serious stuff people.I contacted channel 5 news. Unsurprisingly, they ignored channel 5 and avoided them at all cost. The young man from Terminex took several photos on his cell phone, and took them to the office to show to the managers because he was in complete shock that they didn’t even try to transfer us to a different unit or anything.PLEASE, please, Do not spend your hard working money on this place! It is a disaster. I have never experienced anything like this and it is definitely a lesson learned. We have now moved. Protect your family! Do not go here!!!!!
The management staff in the rental office are rude, incompetent and dishonest. They wouldnt let us move in until we had an account with an electric company... something they didnt tell us until we went to get the keys and move in. They told my husband and me the carpet was new when we first moved in, but when we pointed out stains on the carpet a few days later, they admitted that it wasnt new. They did nothing to fix the carpet, so we had nasty carpet for our entire stay. Then when we moved out, they charged us over $500 for cleaning and incidentals saying that the apartment was overwhelmed with cigarette smoke - we dont smoke. The floor plan was nice, but if I had to do it again, I would not have done business with them. The apartment wasnt worth it... were still paying for it.
My apartment layout is great! Everything else about this place is hoooorrible!! Management is horrible all around, they dont try to help whatsoever just play dumb. Maintenance, though they are very nice guys horrible service, I dont think they have a clue what theyre doing. Be prepared to have your apartment invaded with less than 24 hour notice, thats if you get a notice at all. Theres always something that has to be done or checked damn near every month sometimes multiple times a month. Noisy a** neighbors, trash sometimes overflow all over the ground, u only get until the 2nd of the month to pay ur rent not the 3rd like most, u have to request 50 damn times for something to get done, one Im still waiting on. And at this very moment which prompted me to write this review there is like 10 hard working guys right outside of my apartment literally drilling and jackhammering right in front of my door for the 2nd day. I am a night time worker that sleeps through the day, they gave me absolutely no notice, and its going to be going on for 8days smh so inconsiderate. I can not wait to move 😤
I lived here for 9 years and that means nothing to the staff or corporate office. They continue to raise your rent and nickel and dime you for everything no matter how long you have lived on the property 2, 7, 9, 11 years..... They do not treat their tenants with respect. You cant pre-pay your rent ( stupid) and if your late their is no forgiveness no matter the situation they will simply jack your rent higher for being late when your lease is up. You will get eviction notices for the items on your porch-brooms, bikes etc....The front gates are always open, the large pool by the office has been locked by the front office all summer. If maintenance comes to fix something I guarantee it wont be correct and if they say they will return in a day or 2 to check on it youll never see them again. Stay away, save yourself the issues of cars constantly being broken into, gangs, cars playing loud music at all hours, gun fire, a drug dealer lives and deals right by the maintenance barn and they do nothing about it.
Cool complex, lots of amenities, nice area ....lost a star for the school next door but other than that its great
This place may be cute on the outside, but thw management is horrible. It took them 1 week to come fix a leak in my apartment from a severe rain storm we had. Ask for pest control? Expect to wait 2 weeks for that. On top of it all, when I had a financial emergency and needed to change my bank account info on a payment i sent to them (the same day), it took them 3 days to even call me back and address the issue. All the while they were adding fees to my account. Then they turned around and took away my ability to pay online because of something that not only was put of my control, but they could have resolved had they simply answered the phone or returned a message. This place is horrible. Much better places to stay than this. I will be gone when this lease is up and if youre thinking about renting here, DONT.
The rooms are decent, but no recycling or guest parking.
My mom has lived here for 7 years its still in the hood no matter what they say. Plus an entire complex burnt down due to faulty wiring they did nothing to help the residents that were affected by this and theyre already building on top of the burned remains without properly tearing it all down and starting over. Do not live here for safety reasons
We just move in and it has been awsome! Staff is kind and friendly, love that its next to a natural park
Very cool to live, nice area to shop, order take out
We went to view these apartments even after reading all the bad reviews just to give it a shot. The layouts look nice on paper but or of the three 2 bed/2 bath floorplans we saw, only 1 was actually spacious to comfortablly live in. Our deal breaker was that the appartments reeked of weed, it was awful. Especially the last (and biggest) apartment we saw. I hace asthma and we were in there for less than 10 mins but I could not breathe. After walking out I had a horrible headache and felt sick to my stomach. We instantly decided against moving here. Apparents look nice outside and the ones we saw were cleaned well. Oh, also if you have a full size washer and dryer, your dryer most likely will not fit due to the hot water heater being right above the dryer insert. Another smaller deal breaker. Personally, I would advise against this complex.
This complex and the managing company leave much to be desired! The onsite staff has to be the most UNHELPFUL, lazy, and just plain rude group of people I have ever come across. I recently moved my mother out of this complex after months of fighting with these folks. In July my mother came home to an apartment that was 98 degrees inside. After contacting the building manager she learned that the AC is not secured and that children in the complex often cut them off for fun. Instead of locking or securing the AC units the complex simply showed my mother how to flip the switch back on. This same incident occurred 5 more times during THE SUMMER! In September my mother had her vehicle broken and her convertible top cut through with a knife!! Over the next few weeks other cars were also broken into, instead of investigating or placing more cameras up, the complex put up signs that reminds tenants to take their belongings with them. It got to the point that my mother felt unsafe at this location so we arranged for her to move. In January she attempted to notify the complex that shed be moving in March. Instead of attempting to FIX THE ISSUE OF HER SAFETY the manager refused to accept her 60 day notice, kept her security deposit, AND threatened to report unpaid rent for March and April on her credit report. These people are truly a piece of work! We now have my mother moved out and I would NEVER in a million years suggest that someone move to this complex especially not someone with small kids or an elderly person or anyone living alone! The managing company MANAGEMENT SUPPORT is just as bad as the onsite staff and after 3 months of trying I gave up on getting in touch with them to discuss their lack luster onsite staff. I now know that MANAGEMENT SUPPORT also has a D- rating on the BBB website for failure to respond to complaints against them and I can see why!!
Scam artist. Dont rent here. I came in 11/18/2016. Signed their look and lease special. It took them a week to preapprove our file. A week of me calling and emailing and not getting a response. They told me that I had to pay off an old property. I told her that it would be Friday before we could do that. On Friday when I call to tell them that Im headed to go and pay, Monica tells me that they arent going to work with my case. I requested my money back on 12/2. First I was told 7 days on my refund. Then I was told that I had to wait 14 days until they processed my refund. I called on day 15 and was told there was a form that I had to fill out. Never on 12/2 did anyone mention a form. I filled out the form and was told that they would expedite my refund. I still havent received my money. Its 4 days until Christmas and they put me hold for a long time and then told me theyd call me right back. Im still waiting. Please dont rent here. Its not worth it. They dont want to rent out apts. They are rude and disrespectful to clients. Take your money elsewhere.
The Neighbors are very Nosey! They are always in your business! High class getting people! Very UN professional! Hated this place!
If you move in you will be heard by all your neighbors surrounding and you will be able to hear them as well. The walls and floor are very poor. I live on the second floor and I hear my neighbors upstairs all the time (and there just walking) and my neighbors below me can hear my every move. Its annoying bc my neighbor below me complains to the front office like Im really making a lot of noise, when actually its my two year old daughter who playing around the house the way a two year old should. They advised me to tell my TWO year old daughter to keep it down so the man downstairs can have peace (thats BS). Again I hear everything my neighbors above me walking running etc.. but I dont not complain bc this is apartment living. So be aware that your neighbors will be able to hear your every move and you will be told to keep it down. smh
Terrible experience, office staff is rude, incompetent and unprofessional. Maintenance is slow and incompetent as well. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!
I would not recommend this apartment to anyone. The trash is constantly overflowing with large items the assigned covered parking is a joke we have asked management about our spot that has been occupied since we got here and nothing has been done. We will be moving out as soon as our lease is up if not before. I have seen several drug deals go down in the parking lot all right next to a school. This is no place to have your kids. People at all hours of the night cussing at each other lots of typical drama. Do not let all the amenities such as the pools playground walking trail and daycare on premises fool you. It does have a lot of kids but the application that says we do not tolerate sagging paints etc is a joke also. So save your time and money and spend the extra to find a way better gated community that actually keeps the gates closed and working and does not band-aid fix issues.
Its extremely expensive. And the apartments are not that great. The trash gets messy and left there for days and its hard to find parking for guests
If you’d like to be surrounded by drug dealers and hear regular shootings then this is the place
They are overly controlling and always raising rent. They are not very nice at all
Nice apartments for reasonable price
Lived here for a year, and couldnt wait to get out. A mix up on my lease ending led to all of my stuff being thrown away. They did settle, which gives me some respect for the place, and is the only reason I gave two stars.
Not a fan of this place not going to list all my bad experiences
Run from this place! No good at all. Very poor service and poorly managed.
Most of the apartments are not worth the rent amounts
They wont give you your deposit back even if you didnt come tour the property.
Roaches, loud music, residents fighting and crazy rule that rent is due by the 2nd of every month or an automatic fee of $50 plus $5 per day.
Poor customer service. Get some men in there. The ladies are always so rude and angry it seems. The attitudes aren’t necessary
Great complex
Are these apts second chance?
Great place to stay
Megan=awesome
Went in the view apartments. Their website says they had some open. We were told they didnt have so much as a model one to show. Kind of disappointing.
