Very friendly staff. They are also as accommodating as possible! Had a couple techs come out and spray for some very stubborn ants. Initially they wouldn’t go away and eventually moved to my sons room. I made a call to Spears again and Derrick came out as soon as he heard my son had ants in his bed. He very thoroughly checked throughout my home to see what the issue was. When I say he put in work to make sure this wasn’t going to be an issue again, I mean he put in work! Since he’s been here I haven’t had an ant issue again! Not only did he do his job well, he also sent me a couple messages to make sure I didn’t see the ants and new him to come out again. I love that he checked behind his work to make sure my house was free of bugs. Spears, you have a great worker with Derrick!

Initially started with Spears Pest Control because I was worried about termite protection for my home. I paid for the initial treatment that is supposed to last for 10 years, annual inspection, and they gave me a great rate for quarterly general pest control spraying of my home. Im no expert and shopped around before using them. I chose them because overall they made us feel the most comfortable because they appeared to know their stuff, explained things to us in away that we could understand, and didnt pressure us. They always give plenty of advance notice prior to quarterly spraying and actually do show up when they say they will. Im known to be picky and overly critical of companies I use, but I have no complaints, like them, and would definitely recommend them to friends.

I have used Spears Environmental Pest Control for many years for not only Pest Control but also Lawn Services. I have always taken care of my own lawn and done quite well prior to moving to Crestview 30 years ago. Of the many places I have lived, Florida has been the most challenging as it pertains to maintaining a lawn in a satisfactory state. Until 5 years ago I struggled to maintain my lawn in a satisfactory (for me) manner. I finally admitted my short comings and started studying lawn care from the University of Florida website. While they are the go-to pros for Best Lawn care Management practices, understanding the plethora of obstacles that homeowners run into is very challenging. Thats where the Spears Technicians can help, even if it is just to supplement your knowledge or offer advice on lawn diseases and how to combat them. Derrick is my current Spears Technician and I use him for Pest control (all) and I let him do the lawn care for things that they are certified to perform, including all the appropriate chemicals and fertilizer that are needed to maintain a pristine lawn without harming it. The rest he advises me on best practices that I can easily do myself. The results from this team approach are excellent. I am proud of my lawn and get compliments on it often. We started using Spears pest control around 2016. During house renovation, we found out we had termintes. Immediately we contacted Spears to take care of the termites. Derrick came out the next day to service our house. Since then, he has been professional and his communication has been top notch. We recently moved to our new house and found out another company provided service to the house a little cheaper but I continue to use Spears because of their professionalism and how well they work with thier clients. I had called them and used them 1 time. I asked if we seen bugs after they sprayed if they would honor the fact that I paid and come back out. They said no. They wanted me to pay another 65 for a follow up. Lol. Meaning they know the bugs wont be gone the first time. Now I see why, they dont get rid of the bugs. I think Ive seen more since they sprayed. I think I will go to terminix instead who will value their customers and they say if u see bugs they will come back out and spray for free again( you know what you paid for the first time). Ridiculous company. Take your business elsewhere. Also I read reviews and Im a military family and dont appreciate the fact the owner isnt military friendly. Just had a spider crawl across me in my bed. Support terminix or any other business who will stand behind their services. Period!!! The guy who come out was a nice guy other than that 0 stars.

Eric did a walk-through of our property and pointed out lots of potential issues and strategies to prevent future problems. Incredible as usual with this company! Our tech, William, has been the best - not just in pest control, but in the service industry period. When he visited this week for our quarterly service, he remembered things that I mentioned last quarter only in passing (wifes name, wedding details, and even our honeymoon trip complete with pro-tips as he used to live in Vegas where we are headed for the honeymoon). While staying completely professional, William always manages to make an effort to ensure we feel special and that our service is personalized. But the best part of his last trip - he remembered that we share a respect for a particular musician (whose autograph I have hanging on the wall with pins) and actually brought me a frame for the autograph because he knew I was a fan and so was he! Who does that? Answer: William, the best human alive.Also important to this review - the service itself is impeccable as since working with Spears we have had a total of 0 bug/pest issues. Thought I should mention that too.Thats it. Hire Spears and pray for William (although Im sure the rest of their crew is probably amazing as well).

My family and our home had our first ANT INVASION. Believe me, if you have never had a true ant invasion you have no clue how miserable they are. They attack you in your very own bed. My house is a very clean home but they came in searching and after 5 days never left. I tried killing them on my own but it never worked. We learned from Spears that we made things worse. I called Spears in desperation after calling a few companies who never answered one afternoon. I spoke with a lady in the office and I explained my desperation to get rid of the ants, especially due to me having a small baby. She quickly educated me on what to immediately stop doing and she then contaced Derrick and explained my desperation. He squeezed me in the same day. He was extremely friendly and very educated on what these ants had in mind and how to clean them out and he defintely did so. Very thankful for such a great company and its employees who helped this family when in need. Very competitive prices as well.

I don’t recommend this place especially if you are active duty or military vet or just love to support your veterans. This place has discriminated a employee of almost 3 years because of his PTSD, A Great Employee who has serviced many of us here in crestview/holt and has NEVER had a problem with Thomas or his work! STAY AWAY VETERANS!! they clearly don’t value anything, the owner only acts like he is pro military because that’s where a lot of his business comes from! he’s also taking the time to block us all on his FB page and removing all are reviews off yelp by falsely reporting us cause he doesn’t want the truth to come out!

Weve been with Spears for about 3 years now, and we have had a wonderful experience with them! The technicians are punctual, friendly, and professional -- a combination that is surprisingly rare in my experience. While they are very pleasant people, the most positive quality that I can point to to recommend them is that they do their job extremely well. I have been with Spears Pest Control for several years now. I have had several different employees of Spears service my home through the years. They are always courteous, thorough and professional. In response to the accusation above, my technician found my mothers wedding ring wedged between the baseboards and the carpet while spraying for me about 6 months ago. This ring had been missing for a couple of years and I had been very sad about it. It was found and returned to me by the technician just in time for my daughters wedding which was so very important to us as she wanted to wear it during her wedding! The best! Weve been with Spears when they (and we) were fairly new to the Crestview area. In all the years we have been here we have never had any issues with bugs since they have been taking care of our house. The company is exceptional in their quality and above 5 stars in their attitudes. Presently Jason is our tech. And when he arrives its like family has arrived. With previous techs (Dusty) it has been the same. Over the years and with the increase in population in Crestview, I had a concern that their service would change. To big sometimes means to busy to give the same great service and definitely no time to be friendly. Not with Spears. It has stayed the same through all these years.
