Found the problem with my car in under 5 minutes! Super quick and easy, customer service was great, i will be bringing my car to this shop from now on.

The receptionist was very rude. Left my vehicle for state inspection failed it and he threw away my battery holding bolt saying it was damaged without asking. Wont visit again very bad customer service experience.

I bought a coupon from a door to door saleman who said he works at Texasland Tire and Auto. He claimed that they really take great care of their customers and that this coupon for 5 oil changes would be great for us. I naively believed him and bought it. The guys at this place however are not friendly. They dont take appointments, they dont even have a waiting area so you have to coordinate having your car dropped off, merely for an oil change! There was more to this story related to the salesman being very misleading which I then reported to the BBB.

Front door guy rude and not helpful. Asked why it takes so long to do a patch it should only take about 20 mins max. Me and my father own two tire shops so we know the ins and outs. The guy tells me then go do it yourself. Obviously I cant cause Im not in my town. The guy was super rude. Not worth the over charge or the attitude. Plus Caucasian male comes in after me and immediately gets attended. Went to tire shop right down the road. Got attended quick great service plus you dont have to leave your car over night for a simple patch.

Had me back on the road in no time at all. Great guys and great service. Five stars on my five-star scale!

I bought a new set of Goodyear tires which were shipped directly to this authorized neighborhood retailer. They were able to install my new tires and offer an on-site alignment for a better price than my dealer. Everything was accomplished in one appointment. Love the convenience! Happy to find a new (to me) well-established neighborhood repair center! Thank you, Tom!

Texasland is by far the best auto shop Ive ever used. They offer professional, personalized service. they are honest and upfront about the work they do. Ive had other work done by them, but in this case it was just a tire change. Despite the simplicity of the job, I was offered the same care and quick service that one would expect from a $3000 job.I couldnt recommend this place enough.

Went in for annual inspection. They were very friendly and accommodating - getting me in and out quickly. Afterward they disinfected the car. I’ve been going there a long time and they always take very good care of me and my car. I highly recommend this place!

Every person who helped me was kind and professional. I was glad to learn they are a family-owned business. I just moved to the area and needed new tires and found them from the Goodyear website. They responded quickly. I learned they perform other maintenance and I plan on taking my vehicles back based on my positive experience. They did not use any pressure sales tactics. The tires I purchased came with a rebate and they even filled out the rebate form for me.

Came after I panicked about hitting a huge rock on a turn around in my new car. I didnt get his name but the person that helped me really did a great job of explaining what damage was done and reassured me that it wasnt as bad as I imagined. He also printed my insurance card for me which was nice. Didnt have anything major to repair so i cant comment on the service, but from this first visit they seem like kind and honest people that work there.

I never made it in to buy tires from them due to the rude nature of one of their employees.I was out with my dog on a walk. We had just moved, so we were checking out the new neighborhood. My dog needed to do his business (it happens). Instead of leaving the waste on the property, I picked it up - like a decent human being. We live several blocks from there. There wasnt a trash can in sight, so I went to the back and tossed the bag into their dumpster. We were almost back to the sidewalk nearest the street when I was confronted by one of the guys from the shop. He had obviously stopped what he was doing to walk all the way out to us to get my attention. He went to that effort just to hatefully inform me the dumpster was private property.Well obviously, Sherlock. I didnt pull in with a trailer full of trash to unload into your private dumpster. My dog pooped on your property, so I cleaned up after him. I paid the man little attention and turned to walk away. I guess he didnt like that because he continued on with an elevated tone demanding I never do that again.Wow, buddy - grow up. If a similar event should ever occur in the future, Ill leave the waste. Perhaps I could walk into the office and dispose of it inside the building.Ironically, I was in the market for a new set of tires. I was excited to see their shop because Im tired of waiting in the long lines at Discount. I wanted to check the place out, which is why we were even on the property in the first place. Way to send a customer right on down the road because you felt the need to go out of your way to be nasty for no reason. City Garage has had my business since. Theyre always polite to me (and my dog).

I was sold this promotion for $75 and was told with just 2 FREE oil change valued at $34.99, I can almost make back the $75. For synthetic, just pay for the difference, or about $20 more. My bill today was for $51.15 ON TOP of my FREE oil change ($9.80 oil surcharge was more than I am used to paying). After the $34.99 discount, the bill came to $51.15. The synthetic oil change was $64.95 + $3 disposal fee + $9.80 for extra oil =$77.75 -$34.99 = $42.76 + 8.25% tax = $46.29, NOT $51.15. I tried to explain to the person who brought me the bill in the heat as we were not allow inside because of COVID-19 about the charges, but our math didnt add up. Not sure if I will be back to claim my FREE Full Service Oil change if I have to pay an additional $51.15 on top of the $75 I have already paid. Carpe Diem. I will try to post my bill and the promotion coupon. I was disappointed because I just moved to the area and had 4 cars that I would like to have a reliable place to service because taking them to the dealership is too far of a drive. Too bad I couldnt go inside and talk to the manager.Came back a second time to use my coupon which still has several oil changes. The person therecsaid the no longer accept the coupon. I recently had three vehicles serviced within a couple of days during the COVID-19 timeframe. They had already implemented special provisions to mitigate exposure directly to me and cross contamination with my vehicles. They smartly wiped down my vehicles upon receipt and following service. And also used plastic wraps to protect my steering wheel, etc. I didn’t have to go inside the shop to drop off, pick up and close out my bills. They are the only auto and tire shop I’ve used for years. And will not go anywhere else. I highly recommend them when you need auto repairs, tires, and maintenance.

I have done business with this location for years. They are honest and quickly diagnose vehicle issues. I bought my motorhome and my Yukon tires from them. My tow dolly now has a new set of tires from them. My past Tahoe got two sets of tires from them too. I always get my alignments and rotations there. I highly recommend them for tires and service. Unwilling to help me on a simple flat tire fix was there when they opened up at 7:30am guy comes out in told him what happened all he can say is first come first serve so I asked him can I make a Appointment in he say no so all I got was first come first serve respond from him at 7:30 ones they opened if store is open they should be willing to help a customer no tell him first come first serve.

Came on a Saturday after calling. My 2004 car had never had any suspension work done....so it was pretty bad off. They totally rebuilt the suspension and replaced all 4 tires that beat discount tires price. Although work like this is expensive, its like I have a new car that rides SO WELL. Im very pleased with their work!

I never leave reviews but I felt the need to leave one for this shop because I know (having a 7 year old Audi) how hard it is to come by trustworthy mechanics and I feel that Id be doing as much a favour to the local residents as I am to the shop.these guys are freaking awesome. I came in with a list of things that I felt like I needed to do, and they said theyd provide a free diagnostic. They actually, despite my list suggested a few of the things I wanted to do actually didnt need to be done. Fancy that! a mechanic that instead of trying to get you to do stuff that you dont need, says that you actually probably shouldnt do something youd planned on doing. I brought it in the morning, and when I listed the things I needed to get done they said that it would be hard to complete in a day. I mentioned that I was on a client out here and needed my car back in the evening and they somehow still were able to complete everything. When I got to the shop they mentioned that my reverse lift was out and when I told them that I was aware but hadnt planned on replacing it they said that they had already replaced it but just wouldnt charge me! If eel strongly about google reviews because I use them myself, so Id strongly suggest anyone who has ever left a negative review(I know theyre out there because I read the reviews prior to coming to this place) give this place another shot!! Goodyear Texasland 825 S MacArthur Blvd, Coppell, TX 75019 is nothing more than a parts changer. They do not do any legitimate repair work here. Their solution is to just always buy a brand new part and change it out. For some things that works great, others its just a way for them to grab more money. They are always backed up and seem to take a very long time to do anything. I scheduled an appointment 3 days in advance to have my tires changed out. They said they wouldnt have my tires done until the day after. They were really pushing for me to get an alignment done even though I told him I just had one done the month before. The biggest issue was when I started having some issues with vibration in my car and they wanted to replace my motor mount. Which was fine because it needed to be replaced. However, the $280 dollars of labor that they wanted to charge me was not okay. I changed the motor mount out by myself in 15 minutes and saved myself the $280. The people there are fairly friendly, and if you need something simple they would be fine. Just be ready to pay more than you need to.

Jeff is very knowledgeable of the dealership and all aspects of it. I bought a set of tires for my truck and the price quoted is what I paid. He checked a few things under the hood and called me and asked if I wanted to repair them. I declined said I would take care of them myself. Very courteous. I had him look at my brakes while he had the tires off. We decided it was not time yet. Great dealership is all I can say I highly recommend them to everyone.

Went in to have a tire removed from a wheel (5 min job at the most). The guy at the desk acted like it was a big deal and would be a hour and a half wait. Brought it to discount tire and was done in 10 mins. I understand that they had other stuff going on, but attitude and Goodwill goes a long way to earn a customer. I wont make that mistake again. Discount will get all my tire business.

I love the fact that it is a family owned business. Everyone is friendly, honest and helpful. They will give you a quote as accurately as possible, always let you know their plan for you vehicle, and will notify you if any other problems or costs come up. They even drive you home while they work on your car. I will always recommend Texasland Tire.

I trust these guys with my Corvette as well as my dodge SRT. They are very well sorted for the sports car crowd. They aligned my custom coilovers and installed the most heinous of motor mounts without a problem. If you have a vehicle that you love... they will love it too. They always love to chat about your needs and come through with flying colors. I give my thumbs up to these guys as an enthusiast shop.

Before I start, let me say that I am not a relative, friend, paid reviewer etc. for this company, just a highly satisfied customer. I am highly suspect of the bad reviews on here. Are they possibly from a competitor or maybe just impossible to please type people? I have been doing business with this Goodyear for sometime and I am extremely pleased every time I use them. They service all of my vehicles and I recommend them to people all the time as a good and honest place to have your car serviced. The owners name is Jeff and I have never seen anybody as polite and committed to providing good car service as he is. He is extremely patient and several times while waiting for my vehicle to be serviced, I have seen him go to great lengths to explain in laymans terms a needed car repair to ladies and even men that did not have a good working knowledge of vehicles and their related systems. The owner is ALWAYS there and he is always very appreciative of any business he receives.Recently I took my old ratty Jeep in to have them do a safety inspection on it since it doesnt have to have emissions testing anymore and they only charged me $7.00. I was in there in another vehicle having an oil change about three months ago. I told them I thought the slave cylinder was going out in the transmission in my Jeep. On this particular Jeep transmission it is an extremely expensive proposition to change this part and requires removal of the transmission. Jeff told me that it might only need clutch fluid. I told him there was no place to add the fluid. He told me the fluid reservoir was hiding near the master cylinder and hard to see. I went home and sure enough I found it and it was empty. I bought a $4.00 can of clutch fluid and it solved the problem. Evidently there is a very slow leak somewhere in the system and I have to add a little fluid every few months. Thanks for the free tip Jeff!!!I also like to bring in my own oil and filter. No problem... I think they charge me like $15 or $20 for this. Most places absolutely will not allow you to do this.Another thing they do at this place is after every service, they send you a text to thank you for your business. I thought it might be an automated system but no... I sent a response back. Evidently it is sent from the owners personal cell phone. How is that for service?This place is the most honest car service I have ever dealt with. I also wanted to replace the battery in my old Jeep a while back. Jeff had it tested and said it didnt need a battery. Most places would have just replaced it without testing it. I dont think he even charged me for checking the battery. Unlike most car service places, this place will never try to sell you something you dont need.Oh one more thing. There have been times in the past where I didnt have time to wait around for a long car repair and did not have a ride home. They were able to give me a ride home. Talk about red carpet service!This place is the best! Great pricing, honest, convenient and fantastic customer service that is second to none. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORKS GUYS!

Went in for a warranty service for the factory installed tires on my vehicle. The person behind the counter tells me that the tires for my vehicle are not available and he has to order them. Then he starts looking up the inventory and tells me it not available anywhere in the Dallas metroplex and maybe I have to request Goodyear to manufacture them and send it to them. I believed them at first.I then tried the Goodyear location down the street from them. He said the same the tires were not in stock but was able to order them and the tires arrived in 4-5 business days. I got my tires installed this weekend at this location. So obviously the guy at the first location was lying that is was not available for order anywhere in the metroplex. I guess he didnt want to deal with the warranty service.Moreover both the times I visited this location the guy at the front desk had chewing tobacco stuffed under his lower lip, that he could hardly speak. Disgusting!

I went one for wheel alignment and got good service, went again but it was closed and i did not pay much attention. Looks like this location is now closed, dont see the Goodyear sign outside the building as it used to have one before.

I went in with my flat tire last year and just like a previous review I was told that since the hole is too close to sidewall to lawfully repair it and so I need a new tire. Infact he said I need at least 2 new tires to keep it in alignment. To add to it he said your other tires are old too so you might as well replace it (They were 2.5 yrs old). Dumb me. I did not go for a second opinion and got sold to replace all 4 tires for $1000 instead of a $5 repair. Very unfair practices.I would have not realized it. My husbands car got a flat tire as well and when I heard the same story again. I realized that I was conned.Go anywhere but them for your car!

Unimpressed. Called in to try and replace my Goodyear Assurance Triple-Treds, was told discontinued, was alright with that, asked what new compareable they had and it was out of stock. Didnt attempt to order, didnt attempt to sell another product. You missed out on easy business from a loyal goodyear customer who now went with a competitor

I went there to get a few things fixed on my car. Under $200 worth of repairs but he could do several of them so I ended up with just a oil change. The guy at the desk tried up sell me to over $3,500 in repairs and several other things he never put a price on. I was pressure to start some repairs that date and it couldnt wait. I ended going to another repair shop showed them the quote and repairs needed/demanded by Texasland. I was told I only needed what I asked for. Because of this company I started going to Sewell Cadillac in Grapevine, they have more bays, techs, friendlier employees and the prices were fair. Final words dont go here.

These guys sold me five oil changes early in the year and have been extremely unhelpful in letting me redeem them. They wouldnt do it without an appointment, they made me being it in according to their schedule--not mine--and even then they took hours to complete the work. My wife refused to deal with them anymore after the first time and on my most recent trip they assured me I didnt need an appointment over the phone then when I arrived they said they couldnt do it without one. This is more than bad service; they are making a concerted effort not to honor these oil changes. I only got two out of the five oil changes I was sold and they succeeded in making it no longer worth the money to deal with them. The store has a goodyear sign on it now, by the way. I wouldnt trust them with any serious car work after this dishonest treatment.
