I made an appt for the next day online, and it said there was an oil change discount, but when I went, it was full price. The guys at the front were fine and fairly professional. They said it would be an hour, but it was an hour and a half. All in all, it was on ok experience. It seemed clean and nice inside. There is a plastic guard, but they werent wearing masks at the front counter.

State Inspection Rip off. . They just want to get extra money. First they said horn not working. Showed them it was operational. Later they said ohh the wipers are not good. Basically they want to do extra servicers so can earn money. I said Ill replace own wipers and come back again. They already charged me for the state inspection..very rude customer service.. Very bad service..

Ive gone here every sense my husband passed qu months ago. A widow with 3 kids I didnt know who to trust. Slot of places are shady and I wouldnt know how to tell if they were just trying to say stuff was wrong to get my money . So Everytime Ive Ive been they have just done what I asked and actually showed me and explained if there was anything else. I feel like I have an older brother looking out for me when I go here. All the guys are incredibly helpful and know their business.

I love this City Garage location. I appreciate how the manager, Josh always explains everything to me and offers options. I have never felt like they were only interested in making money at this location. Josh is always very professional and polite. I will always take my car(s) here.

These people ripped me off by forcing me to change my wipers of my Toyota during the annual inspection. There was nothing wrong with them, they splashed some water on the windshield and showed me how the wipers smeared the windshield. I was tired and did not argue with them. I was forced to pay close to 45$ for their Bosch wipers or else they would fail me in the inspection! Later I realized this as a scam, for they just sprinkled water on the windshield and wipers were already dirty and due for a car wash. Bunch of cheats.

Richard and the staff were professional and informative. He let me know the repairs cost upfront so there would be no surprises. They are a AAA approved garage so I felt good in knowing I would taken care of. Our vehicle broke down at the worst possible time but City Garage got us back on the road. Thank you!

I have been using this location for 10 + years and have never had a problem with the quality of the work, customer service or timeliness of work completion. They have even helped me out with things like putting on windshield wipers and a broken rear view mirror at no charge. I have a 20 + year old car and they keep it in top form. I highly recommend them.

Took a company vehicle in for its safety inspection. As usual, the service was quick, courteous and thorough.The facility is well kept and clean.

Need an oil change, tire rotation and state inspection. They were able to get me in immediately and completed my services quickly but professionally. The employees I interfaces with were clear, helpful, kind, and went above and beyond to help me. I expect I will return to this location for any future routine maintenance.

Terry gave me a very honest rundown of what needed to be done and why, without adding a bunch of expensive extras that I had been told needed to be done by other shops. His prices were fair, and the job was done in less time than expected. My car drives so much more smoothly now. I will definitely continue to have my cars serviced here.

Have a 2001 Honda Civic whose headlamps had become clouded over time. Tried some of DIY remedies found on YouTube, but they were not satisfactory. Found a new pair on eBay and called around various local garages because installation is time-consuming, involving removal of front bumper. Most places said, sorry, our policy is we dont install customer-supplied parts because we cant warranty theyll work. End of discussion. The good folks at City Garage, Coppell, however, was willing to talk: normally, theydont install customer-supplied parts, but if I was to accept the risk of no warranty and the fact that my eBay headlights might not work or fit, theyd quote me a price for labor. I agreed to pay their quoted price and agreed to waive any warranty (it IS a 20-yr-old car, after all), they started work right away and finished the job faster than expected. The new lights work perfectly, and the increased brightness makes this car safer for everyone else on the roadway as well. I give this business a lot of credit for their willingness to listen to and accomodate the customers needs, charge a fair price, and perform the work expertly, quickly and otherwise well beyond expectations. This was not my first visit to City Garage, and it certainly will not be my last visit there. I highly recommend any reader of this review in the local commuting area of Coppell, Las Colinas and Lewisville, give serious consideration to have your automotive needs taken care at City Garage.

Josh and his team went way above and beyond when we walked out and saw that our car’s tire was flat and wouldn’t hold air. I called for a tow recommendation and when they learned we were less than a mile from the shop they came to the house, took the tire, fixed it and returned it. Truly mind blowing service! I am from NY and have never had to do an inspection (a car in NYC is a nuisance, at best) but Terry was very kind and professional even when I forgot to bring my insurance in from my car and had to run out and get it. I waited maybe.... 15 minutes? I barely sat down, and they were done. Didnt even get to the magazines.Terry brought me a rewards card and made me feel comfortable. I had seen the hit or miss reviews on here, but their replies were professional and I can attest that every employee I witnessed working were polite and just seemed to enjoy what they do. Do not ever trust this place with your car! I have been to this shop 4 times in the last 3 months two of the times was this month alone and my car issues are still not fixed. All they do is make assumptions and give you a quote on several different issues without even checking for the actual problem. They quote you a price saying that several things need to be fixed and it’s a lie. I found this out when I brought my car back to the shop after only being service by them about 2 months prior by demanding to know why i was getting quoted for the same labor I just paid almost a grand for. Having another technician check my car again (at the same shop) he stated the none of the stuff that was recommended needed to done expect the oil pan which I was already aware and I needed oil in my car. My engine light is off and I go about my day. 10 days later my check engine light is back on I check my oil to see if it’s okay and I notice the sticker on my window (put in by city garage) has the wrong oil on it. They put in 5W-30 when my car takes 5W-20. I take my car back to the shop to tell them the error and they try to tell me the right oil was put into the car and the sticker is just wrong. That doesn’t make any sense! How can I trust you just screwed up the sticker and not the oil to. Not to mention I keep coming back up here for the same issue! They tell me I need a Cam shift seal but when I take it else where I am told I need a Catalyst converter. I don’t trust anything City Garage has to say! They lie and just want to keep charging you for services you don’t need. At this point I don’t even think they do any work on the vehicles. I’m sure I’m not the only person who has had this issue with them and they need to be shut down! Word of mouth is everything when it comes to business and I hope a lot of people who have been scammed by them speak up. I suggest that new customers seeking a good auto shop to run far away from them and find another shop because they are bogus.*update*Got my oil changed (to the right oil) by another shop and my check engine light went off the next day. City garage is full of bs.

Had my yearly inspection and in general i work with city garage. at least during these times i would have expected when my car is being driven a cover to the seat is used as well a mask being worn when my car is being driven. i would not care this much if it was normal days but I think i do have the right to receive at least this much respect for health isusues fromthe businesses we work.

They do not push extras and usually get the vehicle in and out in a timely manner.They are a AAA certified shop and have a cumulative cash back program. Transportation to and from the shop are available if you choose not to wait there.

I’ve had to take my car in twice already for two separate unrelated issues. The shop accommodated me as I had to tow my car in both times- my car was promptly diagnosed and l was kept informed about the process. They even looked at the potential issues that I needed to be aware of about the maintenance of my car. Very personable staff and patient with my questions in regards to repairs. The customer service was excellent and I got my car back quickly.

Went here yesterday after one of the worst displays of customer service by Drivers Edge. Was seen and processed immediately. Got text messages about progress. and they told me what was going on the entire time. I was out of there in 45 minutes. Great job! Will be my new go to place.

I received poor customer service today. I called in to get a quote on the repair of control arms and told them I had my own parts. I was quoted a price by Scott. I get there a couple days later at 7:30am. and waited for them to open to be the first person in line. Drop the vehicle off and then at 11:00am. I am told, We dont take repairs with your own parts. I am very disturbed by this, I should have been told this over the phone when I originally called. Then they kept my vehicle for 3 hours, only to tell me they would not do the repair, per the disapproval of the boss. The boss says, Oh if you come in with your own light bulb to replace we can fix that. Oh really, dont bother with this place, they will waste your time.

I am grateful to the City Garage for saving me a huge bundle of money to repair a purge valve on my gas tank. The dealership told me that the repair was going to cost me 2500.00 dollars. City garage fixed it for just under 400.00. Aurel was extremely helpful and informative on this repair. He showed me the difference and even looked up another recall Item that would help me get a transmission issue repaired by Ford that I had been trying to get fixed for 20,000 miles. I would bring my car to City Garage again and I would recommend them to anyone needing a quick and affordable repair. Josh the manager was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and even gave me a ride to and from the shop since my repair was going to take overnight because the part I needed would have to be shipped to them to fix it. These guys were phenomenal. I needed an unexpected oil change in my mothers car and was teaching at a school not far from the garage. (I live in Sherman) Intending to walk, I dropped the car off for service and would have to come back on my lunch. They quickly got my info and even gave me a ride to work! Which they didnt have to do or even offer. They just did it. I am so grateful to this shop and the effort they went through to make my day easier. Highly recommend.

Came in on a very busy Saturday for a state inspection. Josh was able to help me out and do the state inspection in 15 minutes! Would definitely recommend and I will be going here from now on.

Towing a vehicle will never give your company five stars but reason for one star is because there was no towing warning sign and the parking space is always occupied by cars. Meaning its just like any other parking space. Faded lines dont count as loading zone. Get your warnings in place. The receptionist was nice no complaints there.

I knew what I needed, what i didn’t and the fair price. Scott was honest, quoted a fair price and time to get it done. They were busy, but drop off was simple. Scott told me it’d be ready around 4, but at 2:20 I got a call...he said it was done AND it was a couple $s less than quoted! The team at City Garage has stepped up and taken care of three of my vehicles. Intake manifold replacent on my 2003 Ford F150 and full transmission rebuild on my 2004 Jeep Wrangler. Stopped in to check on my Jeep and they did a drop everything else oil change on my 2016 Ford Focus. Awesome customer service and reasonable prices. This is my City Garage (Coppell).

Great location for a state inspection! Didn’t get pressured into buying anything unnecessary like I have at other places. If I need mechanic work done, this will be my go-to.

Both of my headlights were out, and the next day I pulled into City Garage. This was my first time using their services. The changes my bulbs AND put air in all my tires because my low air light was blinking on the dashboard. Their service was quick, and I appreciated them going beyond just what I had come in for.

Thus location is one of the best auto repair places I have been to. They were able to do the maintenance needed on my car within hours vs others that said days. They have a great rewards program as well. Saves a lot of money even changed my insurance because they offer road side assistance and other amazing offers.

I simply like that place. Usually I do not have to or need to schedule anything ahead of time. I go there tell them what needs to be done, and they would give me an estimated wait time. Then works is done with great quality.

No one should use the car wash there the owners do not maintain its operations at all you will lose your money in the machines there is no soap no clear coat the rinse is slow to come out the sink to ring your towel out is all dry rotted with rusted parts dont waste a dime at that car wash

This is one of the best auto repair shops in the city. They are very honest and will not upsell you on services you do not need. I have been going to this shop for close to 2 years now and the experience has always been great. They take their time to go over what was done and give you advice for future maintenance to limit the amount of times you need to be in the auto repair shop. Since all cars break down, having a trusted shop that you can take your vehicle to without worry of being lied to is a great asset to have. I would recommend City Garage on MacArthur to anyone in the area needing to find an honest operation to take their car for oil changes or repairs.
