Ive been going to Pia for a long time now. I love this place! They are very good! I will only go someplace else if I move to a different city! Very professional, but fun atmosphere. Shaving is not an option for me b/c my skin is so sensitive, so I was referred to Pia and The Waxing Bar after trying a couple other salons. Hands down... Absolutely not what I expected. The staff (especially Pia the most awesome chick in the place) was awesome made me feel welcome an right at home. Getting waxed was something Ive never even thought about doing, but after my visit to the waxing bar Im sold. Ive been a client of the Waxing Bar for years. My wife thought it might be a good idea for me to do some manscaping, and who am I to argue with the wife. I came in not really knowing what to expect. I admit that I was a little concerned...Ive seen how the sitcoms depict waxing. Pia put me at ease and talked me through what was going to happen before getting started. She was very professional and talked with me during the whole session to reassure me. Before I knew it I was as smooth as a newborns bottom. The wife LOVED it.I have been back to see Pia several times, and, when she is booked, Ive seen others on her staff. Ive never had a bad experience. Ive recommended them to friends and have heard nothing but praise. So wives, send your husbands and husbands surprise your wives. You wont regret it.

I made an appointment a few days ago for today at 2 pm. Im leaving the country for my honeymoon and this was the only day I could do it before I left. I have never been professionally waxed before and was excited.I get there at 1:55 and the place was CLOSED. Got in touch via cell phone with the owner and she informed me that ALL of her employees were out of town and her sister, who was supposed to be watching the store must have left early. She then proceeded to ask me if I could stick around for 45 min (after I LEFT WORK for this and drove 20 min). I said I couldnt. Then she said she could be there in 30 min and she would give me 50% off. Fine. This was the only time slot I had. This conversation happed at 2:04 pm. 2:34 came and passed.Her mother showed up looking for her and visibly irritated that no one was there. She informed me that Mardi Gras was where all the employees were. WHY a business owner would allow every employee off in the same weekend is beyond me. Then her mother said that the sister had to leave to take her 4-year-old to the dr. I get that, but there should have been communication with the owner for her to come up there if the sister couldnt stay all day. Or AT LEAST call the rest of the appts. and cancel them. This was at 2:39. Her mother called her and she was then 15 min away.2:54 came and went. I waited until 3:10 before driving off. I wasted an hour and 45 min of my time for literally nothing.Not a place I would recommend to anyone that has to stick to an actual schedule. Cant speak to any of their work since I didnt have anything done other than sitting in a parking lot for over an hour. Highly annoyed.

Unfortunately, my 3rd experience here will absolutely be my last. I had an appointment set during my lunch break from work. I arrived on time and was greeted by a young man who was working the receptionist desk. I was shocked at 1) the place reeked of marijuana and 2) he was so high he could barely look at me bc his eyes were so bloodshot. I thought “Wow, okay. A little weed is nothing.” He asked me to find a seat as he got me checked in. I waited about 10 minutes and he said, “I don’t think your person is going to make it.” “Why?” I asked. He gave me some response about something personal the lady was going through. At this point, I felt uncomfortable. Here I am at this place of business that smelt like weed, the only person there was high, and now come to find my person wasn’t going to make it for my appointment. I cannot believe that this is how you guys let your business be ran. I went to European Wax center, told them about what happened, they fit me right in. They were so professional. The place smelt great. I was greeted with a smile and they gave me a 50% discount for my first experience. I will seriously never even return to your business and will gladly urge others not to do so.
