My barber Kevin Johnson cut my hair using a pre-Covid picture and he nailed it. Kevin is very meticulous and takes pride in his work. Worst haircut and beard trim Ive ever had. I thought it would be good because the guy before me looked great. The guy was super nice but I thought it was weird that he never pointed me to the mirror. I was so shocked by my hair when I saw it I just told the guy it was good and left. I didnt even notice how bad it really was till I got home. I had to shave my hair and beard all the way off because it was not salvageable. Plus he made me bleed. I paid $55 for the worst haircut and beard trim and for someone to cause me to bleed.They advertise hot towels and strait razor shaves and I wasnt offered or given either.To add insult to injury the owner sat at his desk while I waited 45 minutes for someone else to get their hair cut by someone else I guess because I did not schedule an appointment specifically with him.After all this I admit I did tip him but only because it took 2 hours to do it and I feel like I tipped for the good conversation not the job performance.

KJ has a gentle touch that produces miracles. Who knew I could look so good. The atmosphere was clean and calm. The air conditioner was out the day I went in with my son. The hair cutting son got was okay but not worth returning.

So I have been looking for a new barber for awhile now that I moved to the area. Walked in and was greeted immediately, sat down and had a great experience with Kevin. He took his time which was nice because he got everything where it needed to be. They have a new regular, thanks guys!

Upon finishing my cut I thought it was going great because the whole time I was conversating with my stylist, so I assumed he knew what he was doing. I asked for a medium fade, but the fade ended up stretching all the way to the top of my head with major lines showing. There’s just a big circle of long hair at the top of my head. The right side of the fade looks okay but the left side does not. If he would’ve just stopped the fade right above my ear like I asked I wouldn’t be writing this. Also the beard trim looks good, but my mustache is uneven. The gentlemen here are really nice people, and other people that we were there seemed to have nice cuts by them. Unfortunately, that was not the case for me. I paid $45 for a cut I’m 0% satisfied with.

Absolutely horrible customer service will never be going here again! Would rather have their customers come in sick than cancel an appointment. So be aware that they might have sick customers coming in.

Ive never been to an actual barber before this, only the cheap haircut places. I always figured its just a haircut. But I was proven wrong today. Avery was my barber and I cant think of a bad thing to say. Not only did he give me the best haircut Ive ever had, he just gave me a higher level of service and care than Ive ever had. The real deal. Ive been struggling to find a haircut place that can do a decent blending job on the sides and back of my head, but Ive had minimal success. These guys not only fixed the bad fade job but also cleaned up the whole haircut giving me a finished product I was extremely pleased with. I would strongly recommend this barbershop and I dont plan on going anywhere else from now on. Thanks for a great haircut again!

After work I decided to go to Faded Glory to get a haircut, when I tell you this is the WORST experience I ever had it truly is. They mest up on my edge up, the edge up was push back, I got the taper fade and one side was higher than the other. My bear is uneven and so is my mustache. I told the guy twice to get a few other spots I noticed and he still couldn’t get it right. Then he still going to charge me $45 for the worst haircut in my life. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! STAY AWAY THEY CLEARLY DO NOT KNOw HOW TO CUT HAIR !

I got stuck looking for a last minute haircut today (New Years Eve). These guys were open, so I gave it a shot. Im so happy that I did. They have gained a new regular due to their demeanor and professionalism. I came in with a mop and left with a perfect haircut. Quincy did an excellent job cutting my hair and is a very nice guy as well. I highly recommend this shop and will be returning regularly.

I haven’t really been able to find a good Place since moving up to spring. I was searching last night on Google trying to find some good reviews and came across this place. I called early in the morning right at 7 AM and someone answered in less than two rings. I came up there and was greeted with a good welcome and didn’t wait long. Great cut by DFit! I moved here about two years ago and searched for a barber for almost a year. When I found Avery, I found the best barber in the county.... Hes nice, respectful and his customer service is impeccable. Hes always considerate of my plethora of styles that I try and change often. Hes never disappointed me, my cuts are always crisp and clean. Im not much on leaving reviews but this gentleman has earned my business as well as my respect.

Ive been getting a haircut here for nearly 6 months. Honestly its not the best cut Ive received but not the worst. I get a cut around every 3-4 weeks or so. The barbers business method is by appointments only. Here is my issue. During my most recent appointment (Early morning), I arrived 7 minutes late. There were no other people waiting as expected. Now the following says a lot about customer service but when the first thing you say to your customer after not seeing him for nearly a month and during the holiday season is I see you were here late, text me next time to let me know then you know you need to find a new place to get a haircut. Mind you also when I left, there was still no one waiting either so my tardiness had no effect on anyone. So the owner expects his clients to text him whenever theyll be running a few minutes behind? I believe that is fairly unreasonable especially considering how traffic is in the area and in general things happen that one cannot control. Words go a long way especially in a business where there are dozens of more options. Just because of that youve lost a customer and likely many more that I wouldve recommended.

I stopped in here on a whim because it was the only place open after 6pm in my location. Im really glad I did because Avery is an awesome Barber; he really pays attention to the details and makes sure youre happy with your haircut. Nice enough place. Probably could do with less griping about pay and less pain. And, by the way, the barber chairs can be held still so the client does not have to guess whether it is going to move when the customer is trying to sit down.

Brought my 10 and 8 year old sons in for a quick cut for their school pictures this week. Mr. Avery greeted us at the door, and proceeded to engage in conversation with the boys. Noah received a zero fade with a hard line and comb over, and Tanner got a fade with short top, but what they both gained from Mr. Avery is more than we bargained for. He talked to them about the tools used, why he became a barber, the history of the word barber, and why he chose to name his shop Faded Glory. It was a great experience for all of us. Both boys said they want to go back, and because of that, we will!

You won’t find a better barber in the Woodlands area. Shoot, maybe not anywhere in Houston. When I moved to Texas in February, Avery was the third barber I went to, and will be the last barber I go to. Never rushes his clients, expert in modern cuts, and is just a good guy all around. Pay him a visit and you won’t regret it.

Wanted to give a try here and so I checked myself in. I cant tell what number I was on their screen so I asked how long will I be waiting and was told about 20-30 minutes so I waited. Almost 2 hours later, I was still waiting. I wish I knew, I would have gone shopping or done something rather than expecting to be next. They seem to be good but when they become popular, they dont care if you wait there for hours.

You wont find a better place than this! My first time walking through the door, my man Avery, greeted me, and instantly felt the friendly environment. Avery is an inspiring, caring man who sees more than a head of hair. He styled my Congolese grandson who speaks only Lingala very little English. Avery styled it just like he wanted it. He was interested in him and his future. Faded Glory is glorious.

So, I was in the market for a good beard trim but not have to sign over my first born to look sharp like I have had to do at Art of Shaving before. My mom had mentiones this place and the reviews and pictures online caught my attention, so I ventured in while visiting my parents in Oak Ridge North (I live in Willowbrook). I will be making the trip down here from now on. David was my artist today and achieved styling I have been looking for since I can remember, and in no time. The lines are defined and sharp. My beard has the perfect gradient in the fade. And my hair, well, needless to say is possibly the best it’s ever looked with the hard part defined but not a landing strip. These guys are legit and their prices are more than fair. My only regret is I didn’t tip more, but I’ll fix that next time.

I went there for the first time and a guy named David cut my hair. How strange we have the same name but he pushed my edge up so far back and now that its growing back it look like a unshaved face. He did it all the way around my head. Plus he had a lot of attitude whenever I inquired about prices. I will never go back again.

I am writing in a review for my grandfather who just recently went in for a hair cut and he wasnt satisfied about his haircut. My grandfather is an old fashion gentleman who just wanted a scissor cut trim all over, off the neck and off the ears. Instead it looks like he got a number 1 or number 2 high and tight on the sides and back the top isnt even out nor well blended. On one side it looks like a disconnect from his parting. His necktrim was cut too high around his ears and edge up on the front of his hairline which he doesnt get.This is not the hair cut he usually get. He wasnt satisfied with the service that he received, the barber was on the phone and felt as if his service wasnt attended.
