This is a great place to escape too from the wife and kids, have a few drinks and meet the lovely staff without getting in trouble. Why? Because you need a trim, haircut, body wax or whatever. My husband and son have been seeing Rachel consistently for well over a year now and she produces nothing but perfection!!! Her skills are impeccable. I would recommend anyone to go see her. I used to be a biweekly participant of this place, havent been lately but I do know their barbers are well versed in the art of hair and shaving, reasonable prices and a free drink for all that utilize their services (alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages), has that sort of man cave appeal with decorations and such, as well as a all woman barber crew!!!!

I tried giving this place a chance because it is a cool looking place but after three times and still not getting a decent hair cut I’ll go somewhere else. Great atmosphere and obviously who doesn’t enjoy a cold drink but they have no concept of what a proper fade is. I asked for a low fade and what I got was something close a chopped up high and tight.

Always friendly, always a great cut. Beard trim was exactly what I needed, and haircut looked great too.

Poor customer service! After visiting the location in Spring, I thought Id become a VIP member in Conroe (where I live), so I called up a buddy who was also going to sign up and we met at the Conroe location. The atmosphere at this store seemed rushed and very unwelcoming!!! Everyone that worked there looked at me like I was at some locals only dive bar and not welcome. Granted I got there at 6:20 and they close at 7, but I shouldnt be talked to like Im a problem for walking in 40 minutes before closing! I diffenitly wont be joining in Conroe, dont want to drive to Spring, but would probably join the Portofino Center store, but I dont think I want to walk into another one of these stores after that... Bummer...! I really wanted to like this place!!!!

I’ve always been skeptical about who cuts my hair, but let me tell y’all! THIS IS THE BEST PLACE for haircuts. Rachel never disappoints, the drinks are a great perk, and the rest of the staff is beyond friendly. I always look forward to coming in for a haircut.

Ive had no issue with the haircut itself. Problem is constant scheduling issues. Also, stylist not being there when I show up for a scheduled appointment. Tried the VIP membership but was unable to get proper value out of it. Edit- gave them another chance and was disappointed once again. I know one customer doesnt matter, but I will never set foot in there again.

I had a great experience at the tune up on 105 today the receptionist Coco did all she could to make sure I got in to get a haircut today. She said there was a 2 hour wait time but somehow squeezed me in so I’m very appreciative of her going out of her way to help me! This place is great and you also get free beer!🍻😍

After shopping around a few places for a good haircut, Im glad I finally found this spot. Haircuts are so short that they feel rushed and not too long that they feel unnecessarily drawn out. Decent prices. Having a nice drink afterwards is a plus.

Savanna was my barber today. We Went and got my brothers hair cut today and to say we were satisfied is an understatement. My brother has been pretty sick so he was looking a little rough lol. Its sad to see a business where the barbers/stylists are always changing. I was SHOCKED to notice my favorite person not being there anymore. Makes you wonder what they go through, or how this business model is setup. Id rather take my business to Galindos, I never see the barbers/stylists coming and going. Not only that Galindos shops are we better, with better service for the same price.

On Friday last week I went in to get my hair cut by Brenda and was told by the front desk that there was 1 person in front of me and there would be a 45-55 min wait. I said that was fine (12:50). I got a drink sat down and proceeded to watch her finish the gentleman that was already in the chair (1) and then 2 more people sat down and went before me (3). After 1.5 hours of waiting (2:20) I asked the front desk why I hadnt been called in the order told, her response in a rude manner was that she doesnt count the person in the chair, well me neither that would make 3 in front of me! I asked to have my VIP canceled and she did it with a smile on her face and didnt ask a single question as to why or offer any apology. I understand I am only one customer, but on this particular day I did defend your business to an elderly woman whos husband called for a 1 pm spot and wasnt seen until 1:50. I told her no maam its not. I have written two emails and was on the VIP for 14 months @ $99 a month. I guess customer service doesnt matter at this establishment. I really liked using Brenda, but will not go back. CW

I first came to Tune Up a couple of months ago on a whim to find a place to give a good haircut. I have since been back for every one of my haircuts. The customer service and experience that this location provides is superior to every other place I have been. Kaylee has provided me with a quality cut every time and has a personality that all can relate to. Katie at the bar is someone who is irreplaceable. She keeps customers updated on haircut timing when busy and is also very attentive to the customers drinks. This location has has a fan in me. This place is much more than a men’s salon.

Wife loves my hair when I leave this place.Latest review: they overbooked or flat out lied to me when they booked my appointment. Not sure why they cant get good front desk ot greeter or whatever but Im done here. Rachel cuts amazing hair and I love to leave her a great tip for her work but the.management staff here is crazy. I ended up finding. New barber close to home. When she asked why I gave $50 for a $13 haircut its because I paid her what I would have left here today. I wont be back.

I’ve gotten the same lady three times and all three times she has either cut it short, cut it the wrong way or both! This past time(I had long hair due to quarantine but only wanted it trimmed) I asked if she could cut it to the middle of my eye/top of my eyelash when dry. She ended up cutting to my eyebrow when wet! Then to top it off she gave me a bowl cut so I look like a blonde upside down bowl now

We use to drive out to the original location to get a hair cut for my husband because we loved it so much. Got really excited when they opened a location in our town right down the street from our house. I tried to give the benefit of the doubt, but after going several times there has been no change. The woman who works the front desk has been rude absolutely every single time we have gone in, and we are just going to start going somewhere else. It’s absolutely ridiculous to be so hateful when you’re the first face a customer sees and their last interaction when leaving.

This salon theme is very awesome. The wait hasnt been too long, the prices are a little higher then say Great Clips but youre alway getting a stylist that actually know what theyre doing. Ive been telling my husband for years to find a good place to get his hair done and hes finally found one. He goes there for hair cuts and bread trims and I take my son there for his hair cut. Staff is super friendly. And the free drinks is just the icing on the cake!I always recommend this salon.
