Came here for dip nails and he did an amazing job!! I’ve been to 2 other places in the area and this was, by far, the best!! Highly recommend!

While my nails turned out fine, I was super unimpressed. My mother and I made appointments for 11:30. Finally got seated at 11:50. My moms pedicure started immediately and I waited an additional ten minutes for my person to show. When he did show things seemed ok at first. He had the lightest hand when scrubbing my feet and the massage was mediocre at best. They have a period where they wrap warm towels around your feet and let them sit for a few minutes… My guy disappeared for at least 15 minutes. I realized after a while he was just sitting behind a curtain maybe taking a break? My mom offered to take the ICE COLD towels off of my legs as she was headed to get her manicure started because they were sliding off. At this point I was annoyed but stuck it out because the paint job turned out OK. My mom was about 15 minutes ahead of me getting her manicure. I carried my own shoes and bag back to the table for my manicure and he asked to check me out before starting my nails. (Side note: apparently if you use Venmo you save $4. I wasnt told this at all. My mom told me after she was offered the option by her person) I had to have him refile my nails because the first time they were slanted. He rubbed a bit of lotion basically on my wrists and half of my palm, buffed my nails and got to painting. Didnt use cuticle oil, didnt have me wash any of the dust from buffing off... He turned a fan on when he got hot (told me this later into painting my nails) but it was blowing on the table and not on him.The overall experience was underwhelming and disappointing. Im 5 months pregnant and have a 2.5 year old. I was in town from Chicago visiting family and wanted to spend time with my mom. Im fully capable of doing my own nails but on occasion its nice to have the time to relax and spend a little money on myself. I paid almost $100 for an experience where I was constantly questioning the whole process.I hate to write off places immediately but I used to come here 5 years ago and the quality has clearly gone down. Save your money and go somewhere else to splurge.

They were so kind! They took us as a walk in, were not over crowded by booking appointments on top of each though. They were super clean and did a great job on our pedi and mani. Again super nice and down to earth! Will be back!

Customer service was excellent. I was greeted immediately and informed of my wait for walk in gel mani and pedi. My tech was so sweet and courteous for my pedi. Had a different tech for mani but both turned out really good. Best one I’ve had this year!

Did not trim my toenails and rushed through, my daughter also got pedicure and her polish chipped the next day.

I took my 3 and 5 year old daughters for manicures and all three of the techs we had were wonderful!

I came to get a balance with gel polish 3 days later I had 3 nails peeling and a broken nail. I also paid $59 for this. I called to talk to someone about getting them fixed, was told to come in at noon so I did and the manager had me wait 20 mins for the nail tech to come to the salon to fix them. The shape of them are terrible and the gel polish is terrible as well. I will not be returning.

Macy did such an incredible job on my nails. She was able to fit me in with a 1 day notice and while she was running just 5 minutes late, she apologized profusely and it was due to ensuring her customer ahead of me was 100% satisfied before they left (and it seemed they were). She did exactly what I described which is a thin, natural, short almond shape, acrylic in opaque dark pink. She was very focused on my happiness with her service and she has a really pleasant demeanor. I couldnt be happier and will definitely be back!

This salon is top notch! I had an appointment for a pedicure only and they squeezed me in for a gel manicure as well on a Saturday when they were short staffed. The quality of their services is far superior to what the mall offers. I LOVE Victor. He takes his time, does a wonderful job on my nails and is very friendly. I highly recommend this awesome salon.

Came here for the first time two weeks ago. I gave them the ultimate challenge, make my feet pretty enough for dress sandals. I wear steel toe boots for work, so my feet as u can imagine were horrible.. The tech got rid of all the calluses trimmed and painted them beautiful. I just went again today for my eyebrows. Perfect job! The tech took her time and spent attention to detail. She was even careful of the sensitive beauty mark I have hidden under my eyebrows. I went during slow day time hours. Before 5 pm both times. Got right in . Super nice people . I am rough on myself so they deserve an A+.

I believe this is not a honest establishment. I went in for an acrylic full set(almond shaped)(short/medium length) (polish)I was quoted $50.00 when I question the tech about the pricing on how was I charged and extra $15 she said “that the beginning of January this year, prices went up from $35 to $40 for a full acrylic set and the $10 was for length and shape and that’s how the total came to $50.00, she couldn’t even look me in my face while telling me this. (Yes, I went ahead and paid for the service and she did a very good job) but correct me if I’m wrong but since when did nail shops start charging for the shape of the nail, the length I get. It was my first time there and I really wanted to like this place but I can’t do business with dishonesty. I say dishonest because upon checking out, I question the young man who contradicted what the tech who did my nails said, with the exception of they charge for length and shape but I can’t even trust that because he responded without making eye contact and fumbled over his words after I told him what the tech said. With all that being said, it’s unfortunate because my nails are really nice but I can’t trust this business. My advice to you, get a break down of the prices they quote you.

So my pedicure was quoted $63 and I ended uppaying $92... they didn’t tell me the gel wasn’t included which I can get over but the it’s an extra $10 on top of that for sales tax, which is not shown on the receipt and it has to be. Seems like something shady is going on to me.

Friendly, personable, willing to accommodate. Love this place. They make a point to say hi and use my name BEFORE I sign in. That means they try to remember me and I am not just another face.

Nail techs were friendly and efficient. I loved my gel manicure, and it lasted me a long time. No harsh tools are used on the nails (not sure about acrylics).

Loved my experience. Prices were reasonable. The skills were perfect. Best French tip I’ve ever had. Treated me like a person and not a client or a hand manican. Venue was large, clean, organized, and beautiful. Also I was also a walk in. I think I was there around 10am. I had maybe a 5 minute wait.

I found a Unicorn!I was in Columbus for a work conference, and my nails had started to chip ( I had gotten shellac 2 weeks prior, in Michigan, and it was already peeling). I set an appointment and met Jenny when I got there.**Back story: I am from Texas moved to Michigan. I had a nail place I loved in Texas, and have not been able to find a place that does an amazing job in Michigan.Jenny is by far the best nail person I have ever had! SWEET and pays such close attention to detail. I have never been so impressed.With each nail she made sure they were perfect. She did not rush at all, and it showed in her work. Shes been doing nails for 4 years, and Ive never had anyone do a better job. I have bragged about her to at least 30 people in the last month.After over a month my nails still were not peeling, and I only had to go to get them done because they had grown out so much. I am super bummed that I dont live in Ohio, otherwise, I would never see anyone else. But I can guarantee if I go back to Columbus, I well be stopping in to visit Jenny.

I came here because the place I wanted to go wasn’t open. This is the worst place I have ever been. I came in wanting a coffin shape and design and also I got my toes painted. Every place I have been will file and cut toenails, even if it’s just for a plush change, the man doing my toes, literally rounded my toe nails. Then my coffin nails were not filed correctly so they are super fat. When I was moved over to another lady for my design I asked if she would be able to fix my nails. Her reply was “I’m too busy today, you’ll have to come back” I’m sorry I just paid you $100. My nails started lifting after 4 days and now I also lost a nail. This is the worse place to go to. I would not recommend this place to anyone!!

Ive been here several times and service is always phenomenal. The gel manicures last for up to 4 weeks without chipping, which I havent experienced anywhere else. If you come during busy hours there will be a wait, so make a reservation. Otherwise, during the day you can get in and out within an hour (for a basic pedicure and a gel manicure).

They are a little on the pricey side and are always busy so if you want to guarantee your spot call and book an appointment. They do accept walk ins however and it is well worth the wait! They are located across from Polaris so you can always put your name down and come back. Jenny typically does my nails and she is meticulous to ensure my nails are the same length and shape, I really appreciate the time she puts into my nails!The atmosphere in Pure Luxe is wonderful- it is open and airy and beautifully decorated!

My daughter and I have been coming her for 3 years and we absolutely love coming here to get our nails done... well even drive 45 minutes from our home to get the fantastic service and quality from here.If your in need of getting a manicure and/or pedicure I highly recommend coming here. If you dont, your missing out

I am visiting from out of town and picked Pure Luxe based on the positive reviews. I came in towards the end of the day and was provided with one of the best pedicures Ive ever had. Lovely environment and wonderful staff make for a winning combination. I would definitely recommend anyone to give them a try!

Macy is great! She was able to make my short tiny nails look so natural in a French tip style. Attention to detail and super clean and very sanitary. Will drive back to Columbus for their services from Athens.

Called ahead same day and was able to get a Luxe Pedicure as soon as I arrived. Woman working the front counter was very nice. I believe the woman who did my pedicures name was Thoi. She did amazing. Another gentleman was also doing a pedicure and he was very nice as well. I let them know when I arrived that my foot recently healed after a broken bone and everyone was accommodating. I do not get pedicures often, but the next time I do I will be coming back here! Prices are fair.

After several bad experiences, I happened to find this beautiful salon, everyone was so friendly and extremely helpful. My nails were a complete disaster when I arrived, and by the time I left they were gorgeous. I strongly recommend this salon to anyone looking for a fabulous experience.

My usual nail shop is about 40 min from my house. I wanted to find somewhere a little closer to home. I read the reviews and decided to give it a go. It was after lunchtime when i called and the lady that answered the phone was very polite. I did not have to make an appointment. The place is very beautiful and definitely has a salon/spa feel to it. Its VERY clean and everyone I came across was nice. Mason did a good job and i will definitely be returning!

The atmosphere is warm and inviting and the store is very clean, with plenty of room.The staff are super nice as well, and not overly chatty - just chatty enough.This will be my go to spot for nails!

The service was really quick, even with a group of 6 people - we all got done at the same time and no one had to wait. Everyone’s nails came out beautifully. Some of the staff had some abrupt disagreements with one another in front of us which is the only reason they are getting 4 stars instead of 5. Everything was clean and very professional.

I had to wait a bit but it was worth it. The staff were friendly and my pedicure was well done. I also chipped my gel polish and the technician took time to match my color (Id gotten it in WV earlier in the week) and fix the nail so I didnt have to get a total re-do on my manicure. I will come here again when Im in the area.

I surprised my wife with a manicure & pedicure at Purelux Nails & Spa and she was very very pleased with there service. We will definitely come back & refer our friends. Jacquie was the name of our nail tech and she did a fabulous job.

I am extremely disappointed in the 70$ I spent on basic mani and pedi. Not to mention I had to pay 5$ to use the “cheese grater” on my calluses. Today is day TWO and my mani is peeling off. I was in Lewis Center for only a few hours before my flight and of all place we decided on this location. Not again!Positive note, my tech was extremely kind. The only good note for this business.

Very much into customer service! As a walk in we did have a bit of a wait but thats to be expected. They apologized over and over about that. They are meticulous about the work and getting everything perfect. Very friendly. I dont know anything about their sanitation practices but It appeared to be very very clean. Will go back! 4 stars only because it was a little pricey.

Terrible, going to Macy the owner who was charging me $45 for pink and white then started charging me $55 because I wear my nails a little wider and she did a lousy job - always answering the phone and rushing with my nails. Then my last time in and told me she wasnt the owner and was not going to be working there any longer. Too funny, as she was looking me in the face I couldnt believe she thought I was buying her little story??? Terrible salon and of course she still runs it even though she said she was leaving so she didnt have to work on my nails. Have never seen a business owner operate this way?? Glad it happen to find my new Salon which I love!! Allure Nails - they do a great job!!!!

I was here a couple weeks ago for the first time. The salon itself is huge and well decorated. The pedicure was good, no complaints there. The gel manicure is where things get dissappointing. Nail coverage with the gel is poor, and the gels started chipping in 5 days. Gel manicures usually last at least two weeks for me before they even start to chip. I had to have a new manicure in 10 days, which is way too soon. The gel manicure at this salon is not worth the 40$ they charge for it.

I started coming here after shopping around. Best place and Sam is great. I only get pedi but love it.

The only reason I am giving this two stars is because the facility is nice and clean and most of the people were nice. For the work done I would give 1/2 a star. I got a pedicure and a set. Pedicure was nice and comfortable. 4 stars on that. My set is were I have a problem. I came in asking for stilleto nails. I like my nails sharp. The man working doing them and I had a conversation for minumium 10 minutes about the fact I want them the sharpest possible. After he was done, I kid you not my nails werent even considered oval. He then scuffed and pouted over the fact they werent right. Excuse me, when I pay for work to be done I expect it be done to my expectations without someone fighting me on it. Also 3 of my nails broke off within 24 hours because they are unbelievably thin. My nails have no chance. Complete waste of money. Do not recommend.

We travel 30 minutes away for great pedicures and facial waxes.

The salon is nice and clean. I have been twice. The first time, my nails looked great and didnt have to wait a long time. The second time I went, I got a male technician. He was very rough handling my nails, and went too deep with the cuticle trimming and nipped me a bit. Also he did not open the sanitary nail package in front of me, Iam particular about that. Of course, I complained to him about it. I am giving this place only 3 stars because of this bad experience; would have gotten more stars if I had a better technician. I think I will give it one more try but not with this guy.

Had a mani/pedi. Easy to get an appt. Or walk in. Not thrilled with mani (balance). Looks good but asked her to push back cuticles and she said she didnt need to, so i started to and she grabbed my hand b4 i finished. At the end i showed her the big gap that resulted when i push the cuticle back. She got upset and accused me of forcing it back abnormally. Techs used to push back cuticles automatically in years past, now they have stopped. So in just a couple of days u need a balance again. Just common sense. Push cuticles back yourself if they dont.

I came in wanting dip powder nails and a day after they had already started to peel and mess up my dip in the past has always lasted 3+ weeks! Will not be coming back. My pedicure was ok but the dip is my main thing and I was very disappointed the cost of service and what I was actually provided.

Ive been coming to this location because its within walking distance and have given them far too many chances. Each time I go in there I ask for choffin shaped and walk out with something different. Nail length doesnt match the others, my nails are slanted to the left or right, and the polish doesnt cover my whole nail! Ummm you can at least paint my whole nail that should not be too much to ask. This last time I had a male tech try to argue with me after I addressed how disgusted i was at how he shaped my nail. He assured me he made a choffin shape and tried to justify how it looks from HIS point of view. Not to mention the sneaky remarks they make to the other associates in their native tongue after speaking English isnt fooling anybody. The fact that I have to pay full price and then tip for something I didnt ask for is infuriating. Ill drive 30 miles out of my way than waste my time and money with pure luxe nails.

They did a great job but the brow waxings are kinda pricey

I went to Pure Luxe for the first time yesterday to try somewhere new and had the worst manicure ever. The man who did the manicure cut the cuticles of two different nails; one so bad, it bled through the entire manicure. He kept pressing some kind of liquid into it very roughly trying to get it to stop bleeding, but wouldnt give me a tissue so I could keep pressure on it for long enough for it to clot. The paint job is shoddy, as well, and the clear top coat doesnt cover the paint. Ive never written a bad review for anything, but I felt obligated to share such a horrible experience. One star is generous.

If you want to get ripped off, please go here :) whatever you do though, dont get the nail technician Tiffany i say it in quotation marks because I know thats not her real name.Terrible Terrible Terrible.
