I am still in the process of deciding where to rent but I recently toured Springburne. Danielle met me at the office on my lunch break and showed me one of the newly renovated one bedroom units. Not only was the apartment beautifully redone, Danielle was wonderful. She was extremely informative, helpful, and positive! We returned to the office to look at what units were available and she found the perfect unit to meet my needs (good parking access, corner unit, patio that backs up to a yard.)She then took us (on the golf cart) to the unit and let us tour that. Lastly we returned to the office and she gave me accurate and honest numbers which is much appreciated. She was very knowledgeable and confident and helpful. I highly recommend this place based off the tour alone!
This is a wonderful community. Very quiet. Everyone is friendly. Ive lived here for 3 years and Id recommend it to anyone looking. Amazing for people that own pets as well. Caring staff.
This was my first apartment out of school, and though I am moving on after 3 years, I have had nothing but good experiences with Dani and her team at Springburne. The community itself is nice and quiet, and is becoming a much better competitor to the surrounding communities with amenities like a dog park being added. Some apartments are a tad outdated, but the team has been going though and remodeling many in between tenants, which has also been great to see, and it was still a good value for what you are paying.I only had to use maintenance once or twice, but they were always prompt in stopping by and fixing my issues, and I never had any issues with neighbors. Being only one story, you dont have neighbors above or below you which is great. And as an added benefit, if you like to grill a lot (which I do) - you are able to do so.Though I am glad to see they are catching up to the surrounding complexes, if I had to choose Springburne again, I would.
Lauren’s experience was exceptionally top notch. I give her a 5 stars up because if I could I would definitely have leased with her but unfortunately I had to go with another option within my budget. I do know that once I am able to if I’m still in the area I would lease from her though.
I ve lived there for 2 years and had a great experience, staffing are very nice 👌 👍, especially Miss Danni (manager) she awesome.i would recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to live.Abdel ..
My husband and lived at Springburn for four years. Loved the staff and the amenities. Danni and her staff were always very professional, whenever we would have an issue they would address it. Our reason for moving was strictly financial. My only problem was when the air-conditioned went out in the mist of COVID and we only had a window unit for 33 days. I understand the problem is working through the corporation to get approval for every step of repair and replace. A large apartment complex should have units available so to not inconvenience the residents. Jim in maintenance made many off hours trips to us to try to help with the problem and admitted it was beyond his expertise:)If we wouldnt have the problem I would have given you a 5 but those things happen.
Avoid at all costs. Units are poorly maintained, area has crime issues, maintenance fee is a scam. They have no problem renovating their pool or office, but facilities left barren. The show apartment looks nothing like the real ones, multiple utilities missing etc.
Absolutely horrible company to rent from. Tons of dust and mold in HVAC, leading to serious health problems. When asked to do something about it, the property manager blamed me for it and told me I had to fix it. The complex is diagonal to JPMC headquarters, and that is legitimately the only redeeming quality about this place. Their website uses stock photos mixed in with real pictures to trick you. Countless code violations I am currently having to deal with the consequences of. UPDATE: They gave me a potential eviction notice for posting this review
I Looked at over 100 apartments in my search. I haven’t rented an apartment since 1988. That task for me was was a bit daunting. The communication, caring and customer service from Lauren and Dani from the day we started our first conversation through checking in on me after moving in to my new apartment and my new life here at Springburne!! I’m so thankful for this experience. it was not something I was particularly looking forward to but they made it a much more positive experience. I actually feel like I’ve made some new friends who care about me!!! Lastly everyone everyone I’ve encountered here so far from the maintenance/service staff to my wonderful neighbors have served to reinforce my satisfaction and positive experience at Springburne at Polaris.
I just moved out of Springburne after 2 years to live with a couple friends, and I have to say I’m very happy with the time I spent there. Staff is very friendly and helpful, management knows residents by name and maintenance is always snappy with repairs and requests. It’s a surprisingly quiet community, and for it being as close to busy Polaris as it is, it doesn’t feel like it, and I think that’s a good thing. Though I’m excited to move in with my friends, it’s a little bittersweet because I’ll miss living there!
I have been a resident for 3 years and have had an amazing experience. Friendly staff, quick maintenance team, and extremely quiet community. Excellent place for introverts or people who enjoy peace and quiet. The apartment homes could use some updates, but a great price for the Polaris area!
Great apartments, good value. Well kept property, beautiful pool area. Very friendly, professional staff.
I recently moved into Springburne and absolutely love it. I looked at some of the newer apartments around Polaris, but they seemed so busy and noisy. I am so happy I went with Springburne. Its quiet and the price is right for what you get. The staff is so friendly and worked with me to find the right apartment.
Cozy, quiet and quaint apartment. Close to everything, great area. The apartments could use some updating, but are otherwise clean and well kept. The grounds are nice and clean and the community has nice amenities with their gym, pool and on site laundry. Residents have a lot of nice freedoms with their units inside and out. Per the lease you are allowed to paint, although the walls are already painted a nice warm beige. You can decorate the exterior with decor items and plants. The pet policy is also nice and liberal, allowing pets up to 80lbs.
I have been at Springburne since February and absolutely love it here. Compared to any apartments Ive lived in previously, this one is by far my favorite! It is quiet, friendly, and above all, clean! The staff is always caring and maintenance is always prompt when I have an issue. With the exception of possibly relocating out of state, I would not move anywhere else! Thank you to Springburne for being an awesome place to live!!
We moved into Springburne Apartments 3 weeks ago. Couldnt be happier! Lacey and Danielle could not be more helpful and welcoming! We had a few maintenance issues that were taken care of fast and efficiently! We love our new apartment and recommend Springburne by Polaris to everyone!
Great place to live with wonderful residents and staff!
Springburne is a great place to live. Sure they have their good/bad elements but their maintenance is timely, done right and you know from the gitgo they will do walks only after they get roadways clear. The important part is they take care of residents and I should know been here now for 3 1/2 years. Stayed in a few, this is the best around.
The location is decent. The 2 BR units are pretty spacious for an average price on the high end for what you get. The people who work there couldnt be more complacent and uncaring. The place served its purpose, but it was never a home. There were no neighbors, and this was not a community. I had a larger cat (20 lbs.) One of the maintenance workers refused to enter my apartment because he was afraid of my large, declawed cat. That set back repairs inside the unit, some of which (like the dishwasher that crapped out) were essential. I didnt always feel safe here either. I had to call the police once, and they told me it might be the next morning before they clubs respond.
Lived here for a year. Apartments are a good size and the rent was reasonable. Quiet area.
What started out as an extreamly cheap place to rent in 2008 has gone up a little bit but still a great deal. Think this is one reason for the diversity of people living at the location. The people at the front office and maintenace people were always friendly and helpful. Really helped me and my wife save up enough money to buy our first house and get out of debt. Recommend it for anyone trying to downsize or live on a leaner budget.
Springburne, Springburne, Springburne..... SMH. If you are thinking of moving here, welp you might want to think again. If you do decide to move here, ASK TO SEE THE APARTMENT BEFORE YOU SIGN YOUR LEASE. When we first moved in we had already payed our prorated rent since we were moving in the middle of July 2017, we were excited to finally get our keys and when we opened the door the first thing we saw was some disgusting carpet that shouldve been replaced prior to us moving in. It was filthy! I asked Dani (property manager) if they can replace the carpet and she said she didnt have to but she would since it seemed there was quite some wear and tear. Okay, so since I will not be able to actually move into this apartment until the carpet is finished, its only fair to get a portion of that pro rated rent back since its gonna be 3 days until the carpet is replaced and thats 3 days I cant move my stuff in but their response was we already replaced the carpet and we didnt have to, plus you have posession of the keys... UM WHAT? I let it slide because I didnt feel like arguing anymore considering how upset I was with the carpet to begin with. Throughout the duration of my lease, my neighbor must have been grandfathered into some smoking in the apartment policy because my apartment CONSTANTLY smelled like cigarettes. I had to have those plug in throughout my apartment to keep it smelling decent. The smell would come through the closet and the vents. I dealt with it though because what else can happen? Fast forward to May when it was time to put in my 60 day notice of moving out or to stay. We never replied to either decision because my husband was in the process of finding out if he was getting a promotion to move out of the state or not so we literally couldnt say yes or no because we didnt know! We were supposed to give a response by May 17 and we didnt officially find out he got the job until May 31st and I told the property manager immediately the day after on June 1st when I was going to be paying rent and because I WAS 2 WEEKS LATE, I had to pay past when my lease was gonna end and pay more. She wanted $1,023.87 for the whole month of july and 2 days in august and I had to pay for an empty apartment until they could get someone in that apartment! the most absolutely dumbest thing ever. So now more than 2 months later and I have been trying to get in contact with the property manager (shes avoiding me) and im finally getting back ONLY $642.86 out of the $1,023.87 I gave her just for the apartment sitting there empty. BUT now they want to charge me a $33 fee to get my money back!!! Avoid this apartment complex in general. Way overpriced and not worth the money. I know they are updating some of their units and charging like $200-250 more than a unit thats not updated but its not worth it because all they update is cosmetic not the actual important stuff like wiring for the internet/cable (that is literally 15 years old). Bottom line if you plan on moving out due to a job, be prepared to pay a lot of money.
Awesome neighbourhood, very reasonably priced, great amneties and friendly staff and timley maintenance!!
Excellent
