Lived here about 2 years now, its been peaceful, no real issues. Landlord & maintenance does a good job keeping the grounds clean, etc. Good area for shopping, groceries, food takeout, etc.
Very very unprofessional and they just wasted our time and money and later on didnt give us the lease.
Ive lived here for over three years and I love it. Its in a great location in walking distance of many shops and restaurants, the rent is very reasonable for whatever unit youre looking for, and the property manager Missy has done so much to keep the place looking and running great. Never had any maintenance issues that werent fixed that very day, and the staff works hard. If youre looking at living in Columbus, I urge you to consider this place.
Please save yourself and DO NOT rent from here. The property manager Melissa (Missy) Montgomery is the rudest person Ive ever had the displeasure of having to deal with. Every time you go to her about fixing something in your apartment she is confrontational, arguementivie, and even will laugh at you. I have asked for her bosses contact information just to be told no. She hasnt been in office since the beggining of March, its almost October! and she only leaves an email to contact her, which she IGNORES. I have 5 ignored emails to her about trying to get things in my apartment fixed that she promised me she would fix when I renewed my lease A YEAR ago. Her first response was because of Covid I had to deal with mold in my bathroom, and a bathroom faucet that constantly runs, after asking her for more information about why I couldnt have services done she has ignored every email prior. In our first apartment here she left us with a 2 foot wide hole above our shower for 3 months, then charged us to move to a different apartment, then charged us to replace the carpet in the old apartment because it smelled from the hot water heater busting and them not properly drying the carpet.. I have nothing good to say about this place... Missy Montgomery is the definition of a slum lord. After moving out and doing an honest review I am now being charged over 1000 dollars for not notifying them of moving and not having a security deposit. Both of which are untrue! Missy is so unprofessional and dishonest. Please dont be her next victim!
Very very unprofessional
The new property manager is outstanding . She has really done an amazing job cleaning the place up, and getting tenants to be accountable, and respecting each other, no loud music, etc. Also, the rent is affordable, compared to other apartments in the area that charge 1,000 plus, making it unrealistic for those of us who work with our hands .I have lived here for five years, and will be upgrading to a one bedroom from having lived in a tiny studio. Was okay for a while, but this girl needs room to breathe.Missy Montgomery, the property manager is the most prompt manager I have seen, that gets things done . I also love the fact that the apt complex is close to nearly everything I need or want . Bus route, fitness center, restaurants, etc .
This is a nice place to live, close to shopping and easy about transportation. I think the management does a good job, responding to your requests pretty promptly and keep the area clean, safe and looking great. The maintenance people are responsible and doing a good job too.The rents are very attractive, this is the #1 factor when you rent an apartment, right?
Well what can I say, just moved in and Missy was great to meme! Apartments are good and I love that is close to everything, prices are afforable! I love it! Missy youre awesome! Thank you for all your help! 😄
Very nice property! I believe this is the best kept secret in Columbus. The prices are affordable. Its Located close to great shopping and the lady in the office is a pleasure to speak with.
Melissa the new property manager took over I believe about 2 yrs ago Im not sure of the exact date but what I am sure of is the difference she has made its not the same place repairs have been made she has made sure the grounds and the buildings are kept clean there is no longer traffic coming through all hours of the night or gatherings in the parking lot or loud partys throughout the night she has made it a clean, nice, respectable place to live thank youDon and Anita Hacker
Are any apartments available right now?
This is just my opinion but I think its to high of rent for these units. I have not lived here but have friends that live there and just think they pay too much for it.
Honestly if I could give it no stars I would. They want you to pay hundreds of dollars for apartments that are cheap and practically falling apart. Im pretty sure they dont even run background checks on the residents here. Ive observed several physical fights between my neighbors. Things have been stolen. They are literally drug addicts that will try to break into your car that also live in the complex. Ive gone to pay the rent several times and the manager wasnt in the office when she was suppose to be. Which is very frustrating when youre trying to pay a bill on time before work..Not a good place, just dont go there.
This was the worst living experience of my life. The apartment they put me in looked nothing like the pictures online and smelled like smoke. The management is a joke. The advertised pool is out of commission. My roommate and I had birds in our attic and somehow (Im seriously still beyond baffled about how this happened) we had some fall into the walls. We talked to management to get the problem fixed and they told us there was nothing they could do about it. GET THE BIRDS OUT! Thats what you can do about it. So we just listened to birds chirp and flap around in the walls until they died. You have no idea how traumatic that is. Upon moving out, they insisted we hadnt paid all of our rent. We showed them bank statements and receipts. They still insisted we hadnt paid in full and refused to refund the security deposit. It took 2 weeks of phone conversations in an eventual threat of court to get them to give up trying to scam us. The neighborhood is sketchy (not Columbus in genera, just this place and the few surrounding blocks). I wouldnt wish this place on my worst enemy
It’s sad; these apartments are in an area of town that is walking distance to a lot of shopping and restaurants, as well as close to the hospital and Cummins. However, they are so run down and occupied by sketchy people it’s not worth the cheaper rent. The building I was in, the carpet in the hallway and stairs was disgusting, smelled of smoke and needed replaced badly. The shared laundry room was flooded all the time with standing water for days before someone from maintenance cleaned it up. My apartment itself desperately needed new carpet and countertops. I had complained about fixes in my apartment for months that needed done and nothing ever came about it. The gross pool area wasn’t even opened until well after the 4th of July which is a joke! My last straw were the flyers posted about cars being broken into in the complex. There is always police here!!! Just not worth it.
I like missy in the office. when you have anything that needs to get fix she is on it. The only thing I do not like is that the next door neighbor have no respect for others they smoke in the hallways and they slam there door all hours of the night. I told Missy she is trying her best to stop other stuff that is going on. but in all the apartments are good and my home there are no bugs in my home. and missy did her best to have my home ready in time but she gave me one date but I got to get in to my home like 2 weeks before time so I think missy is better then most places out there and bloomfield has changed so much I think it is better then before thank you Missy and to her staff for all you do
Ive lived here for almost a year and my door was broken in early December in an attempted break in. Ive been in constant contact with the manager of the complex but she said that it looks just fine. Its been months now of trying to get a simple problem fixed.
Rent is cheap! When I moved to town I only wanted a 3-6 month lease. Bloomfield offered both for only $25 (i think) extra a month. Most other apartments wanted an extra $200 a month for a short lease. This is why I decided to stay at this particular apartment. The apartment wasnt bad. I was completely happy with paying 580 a month for a two bedroom with a 3 month lease. After a month or so I started to see alot of bugs (mainly roaches). They got worse toward the end of the lease for some reason. But that is the price you pay to save money.Overall: safety wasnt an issue. i never felt like i was going to get shot or robbed. the apartment wasnt dirty. and the bugs were only in the kitchen. In three months of living there I probably saved $1500. I would live there again if I had to be in an apartment again.
