The Highline at Nine is an accessible place to live. When they are working, there is an elevator located at both the front and the back of the building which leads to each floor of the apartments. There are handicapped accessible parking spots located in the parking garage closest to the doors which is connected to the apartment building itself. There are no steps to get into the building however the doors could set up a challenge for someone in a wheelchair. There are no handicap powered door openers and to open the doors from the inside requires multiple movements of a door handle. The hallways are wide enough for someone in a wheelchair to get through, but they might struggle with the tight corners in the resident rooms. There is braille in the elevators and on all the room number signs (pictures attached). The amenities are all accessible including the pool with an assisted lift, the gym, and the study rooms. The quiet study rooms are accessible for those who may experience sensory issues as they tend to stay quiet. The computer room has computers located at an accessible height but do not include programs for those who are visually disabled or hard of hearing. Overall, the accessibility lacks in few areas and but excels in most. I am sure that if more accessibility was needed, the people of Highline would work with what you needed and would accommodate to it.

Best place to live for students / otherwise. The apartments, amenities and staff are all excellent and the price relative to the distance from campus makes it the best pick by far. Would highly recommend this place to anyone!

I live here now and renewed for next year because it literally has everything I need! I didnt have to deal with furniture buying and I love the location with it only being a 5 minute walk to the Ohio Union.The amenities are huge for me, because the fitness center is 24/7 and I have to workout at random times due to my busy schedule. Also a big fan of the computer lab w/ free printing so I can print all my assignments out to study.They always have fun events where they give you cool stuff and theres always food :)

I am so happy that my daughter found a nice, safe place to live off campus. The Highline is beautiful, has great amenities, the pool is very nice, I love that it is furnished, and there are always activities going on there. The maintenance staff is awesome, and takes care of issues quickly. The office staff is also very helpful whenever my daughter has a question or needs help with something. I would recommend this apartment to anyone looking to move off campus for the first time, or even older students or grad students looking for a nice safe place to live.

I have lived here for the past 2 years and have enjoyed both thoroughly. Not only are the amenities great, but so are the leasing office and maintenance staffs. All issues that have ever come up have been taken care of quickly and professionally. I would definitely recommend this complex to other students, being that it is one of the best places to live that I have seen on campus!

Great place! I was shown around by Emily, and I was amazed at how beautiful and nice the rooms are. Very spacious and the building has so many great amenities. Would definitely recommend living here for convenience of being close to campus and a general nice place to live for a decent price.

I signed a lease for a 3 bedroom apt with the help of Emily. She was super helpful and friendly. The customer service was amazing and that is what sealed the deal for me. Touring the units, everything was perfect and clean. Thanks for the great experience and I cant wait to move in!

The management is absolutely horrendous. Parents, please read this before renting. We pay a fortune for our daughter to live there, thinking the rent was worth it for the location and safety. Meanwhile, she has been without air conditioning since moving in and according to her roommate that lived in the unit last year, it was a problem that the management was aware of last year. Management has blown my daughter and her roommates off. They are forced to put in one maintenance ticket after another, each time, the tickets magically get closed without any resolution. I have spoken to the manager and maintenance and was told that they would work on fixing the issue. They brought my daughter, after I intervened, a portable air conditioner for her room and it doesn’t work. She made several requests for one and was ignored. Now her roommate is getting ignored as well. I have called and left several messages for the manager and have no response. It is looking as though I will have to go there in person to address the manager. The main elevator has been out of service for over a week now. Besides these issues, if they had better management or allowed to make repairs, I might feel differently. The apartment was very clean when we moved in and the amenities are nice. Most definitely not worth the price since they do not spend any money on repairs.

I love living here at Highline! I feel so safe here compared to some other apartments I have visited around the area. I love my room and have so much space for all of my stuff and still don’t feel overcrowded! The amenities are amazing and maintenance has solved any issues our room has had either that day or the next day. I am planning on renewing my lease here because the experience has been so amazing :)

Very friendly staff and attentive to any issue I may have. I love my apartment and it basically has everything I need. Not to mention it’s super close to the Ohio Union. Although, the pandemic is causing a few restrictions I feel like Highline is taking them very seriously. Would recommend a student to live here!

Highline is the best! I always feel so safe, welcomed, and appreciated living here. I live a floor away from my best friends, and get to cook dinner every day with my roommate. It’s so nice having a furnished apartment, and I can’t wait to live here again next year! Corey in maintenance is so great & very helpful!

Management are also very nice and helpful, and whenever I have needed maintenance they are timely and fix the problem. Amazing amenities for residents with the pool, gym, and the courtyard! Staff is amazing and provide fun events and specials for residents! Close to campus- just blocks from the Union! I have lived at Highline for the past two and a half years and have had nothing but good experiences. The staff is always extremely helpful and respectful and the amenities are some of the best around campus. There are always events going on around the building such as popsicle Friday’s in the summer and movies in the courtyard. If you are looking for a clean safe place to live that is close to both campus and the Short North look no further because Highline is the place to be!

HIGHLINE is the best apartment near the campus. The pool, the gym, and the indoor environments are amazing features. However, you won’t find anything surprising around the building, most restaurants and stores lack competitiveness compared to those which are far away. I do know that you shouldn’t expect too much on High Street. Meanwhile, there are some crazy people walking on North H St, they will harass you by many means. It happened to me three times when I head to the campus. Be extra careful when you step out of this safe harbor, don’t go outside alone at night.

I wanted to share my personal experience as a parent. I feel that while my son was away, he was in good hands. I was very pleased about how the management company is taking Covid 19 very serious, and making sure the facility is kept up with cleaning.With other student housing apartment to choose from, Highline at Nine is by far the best!

I have a bunch of friends that live in the building which I visit frequently and I absolutely love it here. The perks are amazing and I highly recommend loving here if you can. Staff is welcoming and kind to everyone that walks through the door and are willing to do whatever they can to accommodate your needs.

The best office staff ever. They respect the social distancing, wear masks 24/7, and are well mannered. I scheduled a tour with Samantha Politz and she was very descriptive about the residents, the activities and places to go in the area. Altogether a clean, well managed establishment that is beautiful on the inside and out.

A pretty good place to live. I lived here for almost three years and only had a few issues. The problems were taken care of eventually. The overall feel of the place is good. Having the rooms fully furnished was really helpful as well. Plus the pool is nice to hangout in on the weekends.

I wanted to share my experience with the lovely front desk lady Helena (I’m sorry if I spelled that wrong). I could not find the garbage chute and she was so kind when I called. She made sure I knew where it was and asked if I was having any other problems, I know it may seem silly but I really appreciated her a lot. I have loved everything about the apartment other than there is no option for recycling :/

Highline provides a warm and welcoming community for students! The amenities give you space to do homework, hang out with friends, or to just have some relaxing time. All of the staff really care about you and your living experience!

I toured with my daughter a few weeks ago. The staff was very welcoming and answered every question we had. As a parent you want to feel comfortable with where your child will be living during college, this is the place!

This was my fifth experience with a different rental company, and it was by far the worst. The apartment was absolutely disgusting when myself and each of my roommates moved in. There were dozens of items in the apartment that belonged to tenants who hadn’t lived there for years. Management entered the apartment uninvited on multiple occasions, moved all of our belongs without permission, and even broke a couple items in the process. My roommate and I were locked out via key fob issues on multiple occasions despite following procedures for reactivating key fobs as management requested. Neither of us received a single apology when we presented these issues, and we were not compensated for losing several nights inside our own homes for which we paid 30 dollars a night. The building is poorly constructed. The bathrooms collect mold like nothing I’ve ever seen before, as no part of the bathrooms including the showers were caulked. We were told on several occasions that issues with roommate placements in our 4 bedroom could not be resolved because the complex “rents by the room.” Yet, management would charge fines to the unit as a whole because they only want to rent by the room when it’s convenient for them. This place is violating a litany of laws, and management is incredibly unprofessional and difficult to deal with. I’ve lived in absolute dives that I would return to a thousand times over before ever moving back into this place.

The staff is super sweet and very helpful with everything. The move in process was easy and quick.The building is clean and well kept as well. The maintenance staff was quick to come and help with anything we had problems with.

Nice to have a pool and a pretty well equipped gym. Generally public areas are kept clean and lots of events to attend. Granite counter tops in the rooms are also a plus.

I moved into the Highline this year and love living here! The staff from day one has been extremely friendly and helpful; service requests are always resolved within a couple of days. It may seem far south, but there is a COTA stop conveniently on the corner which I use every day! If you dont like riding the bus then its a quick 4 minute walk to the union which is nice. Also during the warmer months it is nice to have access to a pool.

Good location, very close to lots of places on high street and is not very far from campus. I walk to all of my classes and dont have a problem getting there on time. Theres a bus stop right outside the door so if you need to get somewhere further, its not a problem. Rooms have more than enough space for each person and personal bathrooms are very nice. One problem is the wifi. It can be very inconsistent and has been unavailable several times throughout the semester. Overall, I enjoy living here and look forward to staying here for the next year.

I was resident at the Highline at Nine last year, and the first year that they were open. I had an incredible living experience due to many factors. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. Included furnishings are quite nice as well. The maintenance staff is immensely helpful in quickly resolving the few problems that the room faced with the furnace and related things. One of the best parts about the property is the awesome amenities. One of the few properties in the area with a pool and I found myself using the 24 hour fitness center almost every day. I would highly recommend living in the Highline at Nine for the awesome property, helpful staff, and the wonderful location.

Jenny the manager does not return phone calls to issues that she needs to handle. She tends to just sweep everything under the rug and doesn’t not deal with it upfront.On call at this place is a joke. No body calls you back when someone is supposed to be on call for urgent issues. My roommate stood outside freezing in the cold once when she lost her keys. No one returned her call that night till she was able to get a hold of me.They also try to find any little excuse to take your security deposit. Watch out and take pictures when you are moving out.You can save a whole lot of money finding somewhere else to live.

The place is really nice and updated, Service requests are always responded to quickly if anything is broken or malfunctioning in the apartment. The pool and fitness room is great. Definitely love living here and the security is also great. Never felt in danger and have always felt safe.
