I rate that because I advised them why wasnt they wearing shoe coverings after they just clean my carpet. It was few times I had to asked them to go over the carpet ago. It didnt look like it was clean.
1-26-21 I used sears to clean my furnace ducts after they were done and gone after 20 minutes my heat would not come back on. Sears air duct cleaners came back after 2 hrs. last night but could not get furnace to work. They made a good try to get it going turned on but informed me that it could bean ignition problem.I called my furnace Company who installed the furnace & does their reg. maintenance. He said legally he cant put blame on another company. He said 3 months ago when they did the annual inspection it was in good working order. Even though the got it working he suggested that since it is now having issue he recommends replacing it They are installing it today 1/27/2 I feels the Sears Heating & air duct cleaning should have warned her that there may have been a possibility the ignition may not restart or other things could happen.I would like them to do that in the future for other consumers. Its justwonder how many times this happens
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! If I could leave negative stars I would! Scheduled them for carpet cleaning on 11/20. They came at 2:30 pm and left 2 LAKES OF WATER in the upstairs & downstairs carpet. My carpets are still wet on 11/22 at 10:42 am. Ran dehumidifier all night on 11/20, all day on 11/21, along with fans, with bathrooms sealed, windows shut and emptied the container 6 times! Dehumidifier has already been emptied once on 11/22. Called twice on 11/21 for a water extraction and to talk with a manager and NO ONE returned my calls. I fear that mold and mildew may be starting to grow under the carpet and padding. CALL SOMEONE ELSE TO CLEAN YOUR CARPET!
I always used sears because they did a great job. Not so much anymore, plus they over charged me and refused to refund the extra room they charged me by...I called them back that day after I realized what had happened and the girl who answered said she would refund the difference. It never came, when I called today to inquire, she refused and tried to say she didnt talk to me. Clearly, they are all about commissions now.
We had Sears Service come to our homes & clean all of our vents, ducts, & intakes in our 3 Bedroom Bi-Level for a reasonable price. I could tell that they did a very thorough job. Very pleased.
I’ve used their services for a couple years prior to my last experience. I’ve always requested the same technician because he was honest and did a great job. They said he no longer worked their and they will send me a “senior technician”, so I agreed. I paid $200 for 2.5 rooms and deodorizer. It was the experience from hell. This is the first time I ever write a review. This cleaning was last year and is still weighing very heavy on me. I wish I can give them no stars. I’ve had my carpets cleaned for years and usually by the next day it’s dry. Well this wasn’t the case this time. It was damp for 3 days and I started to get a headache and my guest also complained from a headache. I contacted them the 2nd day in and expressed that it’s taking an unusual amount of time to dry and still feels very damp and I can smell the water. First rep was kind and said we will have someone out their to take care of it. Then I received a call from the owner herself, she said we can’t re-wash it. And I told her, I have my baby nephew in the house that I watch, a brother on immune suppressant medications and my mom that is a senior and I can’t leave it this way. I needed them to help me solve this issue. She was so rude and unprofessional and said she has to come out and smell the carpet herself and I said please do. She comes the same day and bangs on my door really hard (very unprofessional). I let her in and asked if she smelled the musty smell and she said “no, I smell curry”. I said we don’t cook with curry and your being rude and unprofessional. So she gets down on the ground and starts sniffing the carpet while I watched. I then showed her all the brown spots left behind in the other room (that weren’t there before) and she said someone can come out and clean the spots only. I said your guy did not extract the water well and all the chemicals are still in my carpet and dirty water. She was not cooperative at all with no ounce of remorse or professionalism. I told her please don’t leave this unresolved, I don’t have money to repair the damages you’ve done, you have to resolve this. I was so worried about the health of my family at this point. She said if the carpets didn’t dry well and if they washed them again, the mold can get worse from the heat/recleaning (these are her own words). I said how will you solve this?! she said, they are not cleaning them again and stormed out. I can’t believe the level of unprofessionalism I dealt with. She’s had no conscience, just horrible. I reached out to corporate a few times and they weren’t much help, they kept waiting on an answer from her. They called back and said she will give me 20% off next cleaning. Are you serious?! I then reached out to the BBB and still never got this issue resolved. I wish I had the money to just get this issue taken care of on my own. The carpets need to be pull out and mold inspected. I struggle with asthma and I have no peace of mind and I wish I can go back in time and never allowed them to come into my home and cause me so much grief. Don’t trust them! Especially the owner, shes miserable and not on your side!! I hope they updated their equipment and no one else deals with what I’ve gone through.
The technicians pulled my dryer out of place and then pushed it back in without cleaning the hose and duct. I called the supervisor who responded with “well they pulled it out so you could reach the hose to clean it.” I have the email, Happy to post the evidence.Do Not TrustUPDATE!Just opened a ceiling vent in my basement- filled with debris.Cannot BELIEVE I spent $400+ on this lazy excuse for a company.
The technician was great and very helpful. I greatly appreciate his flexibility to come at a specific time. I guess the only issue I had was not being able to schedule a specific time on the phone. I work a full time job during the day so and the time window they gave me was 1-4pm. I asked to be the last person scheduled because I had a work function I hat to oversee at 1pm but I was available after 2, the gal on the phone said sure. The technician called me at 12:30pm to tell me he was on his way and I couldnt get away from work. I asked if he could come back at 3pm to make sure I had enough time to get there and he was flexible and said sure he could do that. he did an awesome job. so other than the annoyance of not being able to schedule a specific time Sears Carpet Cleaning was great.
We have had Sears Carpet Cleaning and specifically Terrell provide excellent service, annually, cleaning our home carpets. Wednesday, 5/25/16, Terrell efficiently cleaned 4 complete rooms, traffic areas, stairs and area rugs in a little over two hours. We are delighted with the quality of service she and the Sears team provide. Rose Anne and I highly recommend her.

Had the carpet clean because it was a high traffic area I let it air dry like the technician said. come back and look at it A-day later and it still looks dirty what did I pay all this money for it looks like nothing was even done. The same dirty spots are still there. Waste of money
Both Terry and Carl were great! If it wasnt for them I could have been severely injured. They told me to contact my Apt to service my furnace. It turned out that there was a crack in the furnace and they was a small smell of gas. The furnace could have caught on fire! So kudos to Terry and Carl they just may have saved my life!!!!!!!!!! Thank you
Had an absolutely great experience with Sears cleaning our carpets. The two men were very prompt and professional. It took them less than an hour to do 4 rooms. I would recommend this service to anyone!
Sears/Josh did a great job. Josh was very accommodating, informative, and also managed my dogs with care. I plan to have my second floor cleaned next. I will use Sears.
Outstanding job! I had the carpet done previously by another carpet cleaners and this is the best it has ever looked...even after drying.
Had to reschedule due to them claiming that they needed better access to water and needed to bring a water truck to provide additional water. A different guy showed up next time without a water truck and cleaned the place without mentioning water at all. However, the cleaning was really poor, as there were still big chunks of dirt and debris in the corners and edges of the rooms. Overall a bad experience would not recommend!!!!

When I scheduled, I was quoted 89.00, after all of the fees, the bill was 152.00. The technician left the floors so saturated, that it took 2.5 days to dry, a large hole was left at the seam of my carpet, my door frames and base boards warped and swole from the saturation. The carpet looks worse now, than before we had them cleaned. That 150.00 bill, turned into $700 in repairs; all three days prior to putting our home up for sale. I’ve included photos. Buyer, beware.

Terrible carpet cleaning - we paid extra for dog smells and they say they guarantee their work. A handful of money later, the dog smells have not left and they refuse to stand by their job. We have to hire a new company that will do the job correctly, and we are out the money we already paid Sears. Stay far, far away!
