They did an outstanding job of replacing my entire HVAC system. Very professional and very clean, I couldnt ask for a better job. I just had the greatest experience using Ohio Heating and Cooling. A gentleman named Dave came to our house after we reached out about having our AC unit replaced. He came, educated us on our current unit, and fixed the issue all in 45 minutes. While other companies we called immediately told us we needed a brand new unit, Dave was honest and took the time to properly diagnose the issue and fix it. He also was kind enough to correct some other things that would help our unit run much more efficiently. My family highly recommends Ohio Heating and Cooling and especially Dave or as we call him our HERO.

We arrived home after vacation to find our water heater was leaking from the bottom. Called Ohio Heating out to see what is going on, the unit had rusted out on bottom which caused water to leak out. They gave me an estimate and was able to get me scheduled pretty quickly. Reasonably priced, timely, very helpful, nland knowledgeable. I will be calling them for my HVAC needs.

I was referred to try Ohio heating and I am very pleased that I was. I called to get an estimate for a new A/C installed in a old home with no ac. Amber was very polite to take my call and get the info and schedule me a in home estimate with Dave., Dave explained to me about estimate and product ( availability)they would use.I was very pleased with the estimate and proceeded to schedule for the install that day.About 6 days later I received a call from Dave that he had all the Eqipment for my install.The installer Kevin and Don showed up the next day early and they are true professionals at there job.I would be very comfortable to say that I will only use Ohio heating .

I had an older furnace near the end of its life that stopped working. They quickly sent a technician who gave me all my options. I decided to go with a new unit which was installed the next day. Their staff was very professional and friendly. Highly recommend!

My old electronic air filter and metal box was removed and replaced with a iwave-r air cleaner. The old ductwork was replaced with new sheet metal and new a furnace filter box. The workmanship by Kevin and Dan, residential installers was superior. Service date Tuesday, February 2, 2021.

I was being bilked for $1,600 even though no repairs were ever done!The first call they came out and added refrigerant for $534. Right then, they either knew or should have known before recharging, that the system needed replaced.Then a few days later it was completely broken again. They came out, did a test and said the coils needed replacing or really you should replace the whole unit. I no longer trusted them, so I said dont do anything else. They charged me $1,068 for that second call - testing, installing a new liquid line drier, torch and solder, vacuum pump, recovery machine, nitrogen to leak test and Freon. I argued with them on at least 3 different occasions and settled to pay $300 of the $1,068, because the repairs were never done - no new line drier, torch, solder, vacuum pump, nor additional Freon.I paid $834 for nothing, but a big b.s. runaround, pain in the neck.One look at the amount of leakage by 2 other HVAC guys, told them the system had failed badly and needed replaced, - without $1,600 of tests, Freon or the one month of headaches, without a/c at my place of business, in July. I would never recharge 8-10 lbs of Freon, that doesnt make any sense.

Do yourself a favor & look elsewhere. This company will never stand behind any of the work they do. Getting answers from anyone will be about as easy as pulling teeth.

THE WORST AC COMPANY! The representatives are rude and unresponsive. I spoke with a Jamie and she was rude and not helpful. They overcharged me twice and then when it stopped working a month later. They refused to come out until I paid a service fee before coming out. They finally replaced the whole ac system which they should have done the first time and now it’s 91 degrees with it set on cool and they tell me they can’t come back out for a week. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

When our heat unexpectedly went out, Ohio Heating had the problem fixed within hours. The technician quickly diagnosed the problem, repaired it and we were good to go. I also appreciated that he was wearing a mask and stayed 6+ feet apart. Nothing but good things to say.

September of 2019 replaced the fan motor wheel on one of my systems. Two weeks ago horrific noises and our internal maintenance person sees its the same thing again in under 10 months. 13 days ago tech comes and says we are correct but doesnt have parts and will fix within 1-2 days. 10 days ago no word so we call, they promise to call back ASAP. 5 days ago still no response, they promise a call within the hour. Today still no call back. I call at 10:30 AM, she promises to call me in a few minutes. No call. I call again at 1:00 PM and the person that has to help me is away and they take my number. Two weeks without any help to a commercial client that has used you for years!!!!Update: The response is laughable! Thats the same answer I got on all the calls I made. BTW no response to my 2nd call yesterday at 1:00 and I called again at 4:20 yesterday and everyone had gone home for the day and the call center woman said the same thing. Ill believe it when I see it. All my staff is asking to share their own feelings with independent reviews. As a business owner myself I told them to wait 24 hrs before they start posting what it feels like to have to work in the miserable environment youve ignored us and left us in for two weeks.

DONT LISTEN to their reply! It is the right company! Thats the number I called!Gave me an estimate of time. Failed to show up. Blew past every estimate time with 0 notification. I was next on the list for two days. I called 3 times. Last time I was told they would call me right back after speaking with dispatch. No return call after 3 hours. Went with a competitor who was actually willing to help!

I made an appointment for a morning service of my residential boiler. Jackie told me to expect the technician between 8:30 and 9:30am. No problem, small window. I called them at 11 am and was told that the guy didnt have my correct phone number. He could have checked the number with the office, or the office could have called me to give me an update. She wanted to know if I still wanted service that day. Since this is my day off I said yes. At 2:10pm still no call and no show. What an inconsiderate waste of my time. Poor customer service! I would have expected a call to say sorry about the mix up, Ill be there around 2. But, nothing. I cancelled the appointment and made a new one with another company. Ill be bookmarking this company to not make the mistake of calling them again.

We obtained three estimates for a new condo furnace. The existing one was old and had cracks in the heater exchanger. The three estimates were relatively close, just a few hundred dollars difference between them. All three presentations were good. A contractor who lives in our condo development, whose advice I value as he knows much more than I do about these things, recommended Dave Scott at Ohio Heating. After listening to all three presentations, we decided to go with Dave Scott and Ohio Heating. They installed for us a new Bryant two-stage furnace. Dave Scott was extremely knowledgeable and he answered all our questions in detail. He really knows his trade. He is also a straight shooter and he did not try to sell us anything we did not need. The Ohio Heating crew that installed the furnace were experienced, professional, polite, and they too knew exactly what they were doing. The Bryant furnace, which replaced an old 18 year-old single-stage furnace, is wonderful and it works great. We should see a reduction in our gas bills and, more important, we now have a high quality safe furnace, which operates quiet compared to the old furnace. I highly recommend Dave Scott at Ohio Heating to anyone.

A wonderful experience all around. Same day estimate, next day furnace replacement - the Friday before Christmas! We had been pushing our furnace as long as we could after various other companies had condemned it. Leave it to us to have it quit on the coldest day of the year, the week before Christmas. Ohio Heating was here same day to provide an estimate, and was here timely for the install by 8:30a the next morning. Over 5-6 other estimates, they were very reasonably priced, and I appreciated David’s straight-shooting advice, not recommending unnecessary work (replacing an otherwise functional AC at the same time as the furnace), and standing by his commitment to offer the similar labor discount when it fails in the future - there really was no sales pressure. Above all, a very high quality install. Recommend to anyone.

Our 15-year-old AC unit recently died. I got 3 quotes from from 3 highly-rated HVAC contractors on name brand units. Ohio Heating had the most competitive price of the three and its quote was substantially better than the highest quote. (Both companies were quoting the same brand and model number.) Plus, the company was able to get an installation team out within 3 days of me accepting its quote. Ken and Dan, the Ohio Heating technicians who installed my unit, were courteous, professional and proficient. All in all, about as good an experience as one can expect, therefore the 5-star rating.Continue to have a good experience with this business. Had its technician out recently (11/21/19) for the annual furnace check-up. Greg was knowledgeable, professional and personable and the fee was reasonable.

I had a bad experience with another company in the city with a minor repair that tuned into a 10,000 sales job. Of course I didnt buy it. I was told about Ohio Heating. Not only did they do the repair, they fixed a problem by this other company who wired my furnace incorrectly, assured me of any future service needs, and I never felt pressured by the well qualified service technician. Now the best part, the other guys charged me $700 to replace a $130 part, and Ohio Heating was a fraction of the cost. Very, very reasonable charge I was more than willing to pay. Why should I pay $132 for a technician to come and simply flip a switch on the breaker and tell me the problem is fixed, which wasnt the problem at all and because you knew we were under warranty your action was to do a temporary fix to get around the contract. I called to take a look at my heating system. They sent a technician who come to look at heat, he only stayed in for 30-minutes, charged as 1hr work on top of that it took him 2hrs to a write a freaking receipt and they expected me to pay him sit in the car write a write a receipt.After talking to their customer service they told me that they wouldnt charge me the extra hours the technician was writing the receipt, but after looking at my credit card statement I found out that they actually charge my credit card.I will never trust this guys with your credit card as they may charge any price they want.They dont know what they doing and I will never call them again.Thanks.

DO NOT USE! They came out on 3 occasions at the end of last summer to fix our air conditioning unit and represented that the problem was fixed, but this proved not to be true. The representatives were not competent to repair this type of unit although they claim expertise. They also allegedly ordered a part that needed to be installed, but never returned to install it. Our A/C unit is still not functioning and we have now tried to set up appointments on 4 occasions and they have been completely non-responsive. We essentially paid for them to do nothing.

We were flooded had no furnace or hot water ohio heating came out fast and was cheap Joe and Lee very respectful and kind will defently pass this on thank you for your help

Having not hearing anything for two months after I signed and put a down payment on my work, I had to call EVERY OTHER day to try and talk to someone who knew the progress of my project. They were supposed to send someone over to discuss designs. Every call was met with an answering machine, a let me call you back with no call back, or we dont have a record of this project, someone accidentally filed it as complete, were waiting on parts... lied to at every turn until I threatened to contact the better business beuro and talked to someone in charge and told me he doesnt know anything about the delay or why but the guys are on their way tomorrow (during my work day) BEFORE DESIGNS OR SCHEDULING. Came by and did the incorrect work, with extra stuff I specially told the quote guy I didnt want -- left a huge mess I had to scrub off the walls myself -- now Im here with only half of what I paid for them to do done and am trying to scramble enough money to pay someone else to fix the job they did, MONTHS late and with useless metal fabs I have no use for. I do not recommend this business, especially for all you other small businesses trying to get a start out there.

We had a broken furnace on a Friday evening and agreed to have it repaired at the overtime rate. The tech (Joe) promised that if it broke again over the weekend, someone would be over to fix it at no additional charge. The furnace stopped working on Saturday and now Im being told there will be a new charge to fix it again. Im quite disappointed. Ohio Heating does not provide any guarantee for their services...not even for one day and their technicians say just about anything you want to hear knowing that when they leave your house, none of their promises will be kept.
