Angela came out and was extremely professional. I often feel that I am being “sold” more services, but that was not the case with Angela! She told us what she would recommend, why, and how we can schedule those/what time frame we should get them scheduled. She also was able to identify an airflow issue which explained a lot of other issues we have been having! Last but not least, she thanked my husband for his service as a marine and it made his day. I will always recommend CJS to family and friends!

Angela was AWESOME! She went out of her way to help me move a heavy wooden structure that was built to cover the air Conditioning Unit outside, but lots of dead leaves had accumulated around it. It needs to breathe, she explained and it was not good for the unit. She helped me to get it into my garage for me, so I could get rid of it! She also went from one vent to the next, to help me remove all of these magnetic covers, my Husband bought on Amazon. She said in our split level house, this was not good for proper air circulation. She also cleaned the outside unit with her own hose that she brought with her. She did a wonderful and thorough job!

Angela got right down and repaired the leak I no time at all. Then she did our fall heating check up. She really knew what she was doing.

Angela was excellent. Very professional and polite. She checked everything out found the problem and took care of it. Made sure everything was running ok. She went above and beyond for us. Angela was here on time and did a nice job. My only complaint (NOT about her!) was that Angela was not prepared to service our outdoor AC unit that sits on a flat portion of our roof. I specifically told the person who scheduled our maintenance appt that one unit is on our second story roof and the technician would need a tall ladder. Angela said she was unaware, so someone needs to come back in a few days with the proper equipment to finish the job.

Mike was courteous and professional. He was very through and answered all our questions. He even set up an app for us to be able to control our heating and AC from our phones. He made sure we understood how everything worked. We appreciated his patience. All our experiences with CJS have been very positive and I would recommend them to anyone.

Pat was great. Ive got some airflow issues on 2nd floor and he helped me with some good ideas for improvement. You can tell he loves what he does and his main interest is helping his customer. Id use CJS again for sure.

I’ve been a customer for many years and Angela did the most thorough job any technician has ever done. She actually took the ac apart to get to the grids to clean. There was a ton of grime she sprayed off. My tech last year just told me to just spray it from the outside on my own time. She was trained well. Poor lady had to work through a heavy rain. Hope I get her for all my tune ups!

First off, I have to say that their answering service was not awesome. They were curt and dismissive - like an overwrought mother talking to her chatty 3 year old. Theyre not CJS employees, but I thought it bears mentioning.The person who called the next morning from CJS was engaging, very kind, and ensured she had all the details. She set me up with an appointment, and effectively erased the sour feeling I had from the Answering service people.CJS Sent Jamison V over to look at my system. He diagnosed the problem in about 5 seconds, but was able to do so without making me feel like a dummy for not figuring it out for myself. Jamison checked the rest of the system to ensure it was running correctly. Jamison is friendly, funny, and an all-around great guy. The man knows his stuff, too.

We had a new furnace and air conditioner installed (by Chuda and Ganga) a couple of weeks ago. We got a new thermostat and had trouble installing it. As with every other time weve contacted CJS, we had someone at our house within a couple of days (Chuda again, who is wonderful!). He had it installed and running in no time. Love the CJS family!

I am only giving a 4 out of 5 because our issue isnt restored yet, but we have an older home and ran into some airflow issues with our new system and Mike has been so determined and has helped us find creative ways to diagnose the true problem rather than just guessing and replacing unnecessary parts when we could find the true issue between old systems vs new and the basic function of airflow. I have complete faith that they will fix our issue and have us freezing ourselves out when they are finished!

Chuda came out to do my annual maintenance inspection. He was very professional, courteous, and punctual. He did an excellent job explaining the current state of my AC and what needed to be done to keep it in top shape. I was very pleased with the visit.

Friendly, helpful, and diligent installation. Came back the next day to install a new thermostat since the old one was not connecting to the new AC. Very helpful in helping set the new system up.

The technician name was Justin He was great, installed a corrosion buster on my hot water tank. He noticed the corrosion on a visit when he was doing a maintenance check on my air conditioner. He suggested that I get one, very nice and professional man.

Mike was an excellent technician. He went above and beyond to turn my AC back on. He was very knowlegeble, professional, with an excellent attitude to answer all my questions.

Friendly and helpful staff and salespeople. Our 30 year old furnace finally died in the middle of February and they got a new, high-efficiency model installed within two days, and lent us space heaters to keep warm in the meantime. Ganga and Shawn were friendly and knowledgeable, and stayed until 8:30 to make sure the furnace and new thermostat were installed and running perfectly.

In December of 2020, Andrew came out for a routine Heating/AC checkup. He identified some issues with our furnace that would be expensive to replace, so we opted to have it replaced along with our AC. Andrew was very knowledgeable and friendly, and showed us the issues he described with a camera inside the unit. Andrew helped connect us with Joe to determine cost and recommendations for the replacements.Joe came out to see us within a few hours of getting in touch with him. He was thorough and very friendly and we are very happy with his recommendations. Joe was able to arrange an install for us within 48 hours.Dustin, Jeff and Josh were the team that installed our AC and furnace units. Dustin installed the AC and it looks BEAUTIFUL. He graded the area around it and incorporated two stepping stones that we had by our previous unit. He did a fantastic job on the install.Jeff and Josh installed the furnace, and they also did amazing work. The piping they installed is out of the way and minimal, so it doesnt disrupt anything we already had setup in the basement for storage and pathways. They did a great job applying their skills to our specific space and making it all work.The entire install team was friendly, professional and respectful in our home. Additionally, you could tell they were all very proud of their work, as they should be!Were very happy with our purchase, and will continue to use CJS for our biannual checkups. Thank you, CJS!

Mike was great! He was very professional, knowledgeable and thorough. Our heat is now on thanks to our service technician, Chuda, knowing that our thermostat was causing our furnace not to operate properly. He was thorough and cleaned up the system and adjusted some settings that were not correct in the furnace just to assure things were correct over all. He was knowledgeable and kind. He was good at explaining things to us. He arrived on time and wore shoe protection and a mask. We are very satisfied.

They were at my complex to service the adjacent condo when they were up on the roof where our AC units are they discovered that my AC fan was running but not cooling. Jamison knocked on my door and asked whether I was getting cool air. Since I rarely use my AC I hadn’t noticed. Long story short is Jamison went out of his way to make the most of the service call which required a climb up a 20ft ladder to reach the AC units.

We have always had a great experience with CJS. Always on time and courteous. I have never had the feeling I was trying to be sold on something. They were able to diagnose, order, and replace our failed A/C unit in just a few days. Other places had a week wait or more. They will be our go to anytime we have HVAC needs.

On Time Techs, Great Customer Service, Great Service and installation cant be beat..

I got an entirely new (and expensive) furnace and AC installed in October. My house has never been colder - clearly something isnt right. I called and told them that...They have sense been to my house 5 times. The second to the most recent guy noticed that they had not properly installed the vent (too close to the dryer vent) so the most recent person came and moved it. No difference in the furnace, and the new vent drips water from the pipes at the joints. Also the new vent sticks out a lot farther and not at all flush with the house - and its on my back patio where that matters. I would never recommend this company. Its been like trial and error the whole time - the sales person I worked with never followed up, and I guess doesnt work there anymore, they claim to have a $500 no hassle guarantee - and believe me Ive been hassled and not gotten really even a good explanation and definitely no $500. The most recent guy (the one that installed the exhaust pipe that drips and sticks out too far) told me if they cant figure it out, they have some guy in Dayton they call in when it gets bad. Really? You dont have a general understanding of how your products work, and you have just this one person who comes in when it gets bad? And by the way... why wasnt he called in 3 or 4 visits ago? Where was he when it was 15 degrees outside and my house was in the low 60s. Avoid these people... Im going to find out if theres a way to return a furnace. I have no reason to expect my AC is going to work this summer either... Every time you call they say CHS Heating and Air, How can I Make you Smile today or something like that... I know they are required to say that, but its really grating when Im calling with the same problem for the 10th time... you can make me smile my giving me back my $13,000. Oh and there were some missed appointments, late appointments, and just general lack of any sense that this is an experience that should not be happening. I cant stress enough how much you should avoid this company.

CJS is hands down the best HVAC business in central Ohio. Im a very picky customer and once I find a company that treats me right, I build a relationship with that company. Joe is a great Project Manager/Salesman, so far all the techs Ive used have been great. Chuda did some maintenance on our equipment today and he was so great. Took his time and didnt he job to perfection. Very kind and professional.

I am always so frustrated when working with contractors of any kind, and I am the daughter of a contractor. Getting through all of the sales pitches and the lack of trust is always so draining. I immediately trusted that with CJS that I would get quality service because of reviews I had read and the project manager who walked me through an estimate, but I was still concerned that I was getting a price that was too high. I did get other estimates and discovered that the price was in the ballpark for a company of that size and level of service including warranties, etc. I refused to make a decision until I had at least three estimates in spite of the pressure that all of them put on me to do so, moderate pressure. While CJS did tout their well trained technicians, etc., they never bad mouthed any other companies unlike some of the other people I talked with. While the estimate process is clearly a negotiation process with all contractors, my project manager, Chris, was responsive and respectful. None of the companies I work with give itemized quotes, but when I asked CJS specific questions, they always answered me, and their responses were consistent with the research I was doing. The technicians, Ganga and Amber, were polite and professional and did their jobs so efficiently and quietly that other than the occasional banging noises, I didnt even know they were in my house or yard. There was no up selling from the technicians with the exception of one quick comment about my current UV filtration system. I have only had the new AC for a couple of days, and it is lovely. I would recommend CJS for install projects. I will have to update my review later regarding how they handle service calls.

He was concerned for our comfort and spent hours getting the air conditioner working properly. Jeff and Josh killed it as far as installation goes. They ripped out the 2 previous units and installed a whole new one. Those guys worked hard from 9am to 2am the following night. And refused to give up once it got late. They made sure EVERYTHING was up to par and good to go before they even thought about packing up. If you need any installations done definitely request those guys. Solid guys, good attitudes, and wont feed you any BS. Thanks to them im all taken care of and if I need anything installed in the future I will be requesting them!

The service tech arrived within the scheduled window. He was courteous, professional, and highly competent. The company has an annual “club” you can join for $99, which entitles you to a furnace check/service in the Fall and an air-conditioning check/ service in the Spring. That’s $50 each, which you can’t beat! You also get 10% off of any other service you might need throughout the year, including parts and labor. The thing I like the most, though is that they are always honest with me. Integrity is always a high priority for me.

We have been working with CJS for over a year. They installed a new AC and furnace last summer. We have had them come service a couple thing since then. All technicians are great to work with. Strongly recommend.
