The folks answering the phone were nice enough and easy to work with, responsive, etc. Cheers for doing the front-end well!However, I was not pleased with the technician sent out (I will not name him here). I felt like my issue was not a terribly difficult one, yet he wanted to go the most difficult route to solve the problem (it felt like he was trained to handle all cases that way and he didnt have the depth of knowledge to get creative). Overall, my plumber seemed to lack experience and the ability to troubleshoot. On top of that, with paying him hourly, he seemed to just sort of hem-haw around when I was trying to discuss options and get some honest perspective. His attitude and demeanor did not instill any confidence in me that he could do our job to my expectations.Also, pricing seemed like such a mystery to this plumber, he was constantly calling someone to get prices, rather than having a cheat sheet for pricing (which, I explained they were coming for a hose faucet, so not sure why they didnt have some pricing for common repairs?). Ive worked with other plumbers and HVAC folks in the past that could say yeah, I have that part on my truck and I think it runs $20, but will double-check. This guy did not exude that level of confidence or breadth of understanding with pricing.Ultimately, one leaking piece was fixed, then another piece started leaking. I told the plumber to just settle up the bill with me and be on his way. I will look for a more experienced plumber if that small leak becomes a nuisance.

They were able to get to my house quickly (they even called me to move my appointment up a few days when they had a cancellation). The technicians were very friendly. Needed a pipe repaired in home I just moved in to that was corroded and starting to leak (albeit very slowly). Called and was told it would be as an emergency call later in the afternoon which was fine. Great communication throughout the day as they called back and offered to come in the early afternoon as they were running ahead and it would not be an emergency call. Couldnt get out of work early so I kept the later time. Got a call when the guy was headed to my house. He was super polite, explained everything, did a great job, cleaned up, etc. Also answered a few questions not related to the pipe that will ultimately save me money as it gave me the direction to go in order to get my hot water heater working correctly. May have taken him literally 60 seconds, but will save me time and money. And my dog liked him, so that pretty much seals the deal with me! I also appreciate their responses to the few negative reviews. Shows real credibility and responsibility. Well done. Will definitely be using these folks for all my plumbing (and heating and cooling) needs.

Muetzel had installed our old water heater for the previous owners which lasted FOREVER. When it finally blew, we called them to install new one. The front-line person who answered the phone, Sonia, was so kind and sympathetic to my situation. She said she had to be realistic with scheduling and so they werent able to fit me in same day but she scheduled me for first time on the next business day. She agreed to call me if they had cancellations and she expressed understanding when I told her I was going to call around to see if I could get someone sooner. We ended up finding a plumber closer to where we live who was able to do it quicker, but I will always remember how easy it was to talk with Sonia and definitely would use them if (God forbid) we have more plumbing needs.

The people that work there are nice however I had to have someone from Muetzel come out to fix my boiler 2x and it still didnt work. I then had another company who came and found the actual problem but told me I had to replace my whole boiler because the manufacturer didnt make the parts anymore. They referred me to Muetzel for a new boiler. I finally had someone that works at my location look at it and he fixed it so now it works. Although Muetzel did give me a small discount they are still asking for payment of a service that didnt fix my problem. Very dissatisfied.

Very impressed with service received. Called company and was told that Steve was immediately on his way. He was prompt, courteous, used boot covers. He was able to fix our temperature coil on our hot water heater and the leak on two faucets. I will call them for all my plumbing needs in the future.

Weve used Muetzel many times in the past. Theyre our first phone call for larger plumbing issues. This was a big job, major blockage, and the team was professional and communicated with me every step of the way. This was a two day job and it was determined that they werent going to be able to complete the job. Extra services were going to be required, possibly excavation requiring the citys involvement. I was very pleased that they refunded our money for day #2 of services since they were unable to resolve our issue. Id recommend Muetzel over many of the larger companies.

Never returns calls even after they come out and and tell you they will work out an estimate. Its amazing there in business at all.

Horrible customer service. Called to get an estimate for a job. Joe Muetzel stopped out to my business and said hed send me the estimate in a day or two. Ive called and left messages. Never heard a thing back. Its been three weeks. If I ran my business like this, it wouldnt last long. Extremely disappointed.

We had Muetzel replace our A/C and furnace after our Air Conditioner crapped out on us during the hottest week of the year. They worked us into their schedule so we didnt have to go too long without A/C and the install of both units went extremely quick! Their guys were allvery professional and friendly and did one heck of a job. They will definitely be my go to company for future HVAC and plumbing work!

Update !!!! No return calls or e-mails that shows a lot on a sooooo called professional company !!! Waste of time to make appointments !!! Or even try to join the company on a position !!! They waste youre time if you dont have pockets full of cash to spend or years and years of experience to give them for low hourly pay they will not even know youre there 30 plus days with no return calls or e-mails for esteemed work that needs done and positions at there location that need filled this place is a waste of time beawear!!!!

Meutzel Plumbing employs competent plumbers who took care of our plumbing needs for years, but not anymore.We called Meutzel for an estimate on installing exterior pipes to drain the water from our downspouts to the street. They sent over a fellow who walked around the property awhile, then said we needed to schedule an appointment with Meutzel’s estimator, Mike Cisar. Why didn’t they send Mike out to begin with instead of wasting our time?I phoned Mike, and he agreed to come out two days later. This guy knows everything there is to know about yard drains, and two minutes after you meet him you feel like you’ve known him forever. What a great guy!That was over three weeks ago, and we’re still waiting for the estimate.In the meantime, we called a company that emailed the estimate an hour after the walk-around and have since installed our exterior pipes and those of our neighbor.In the course of soliciting bids for the yard drain project, we found ourselves a new plumbing company. They have already done excellent work for us. While they were here, I asked them to ballpark the cost of replacing two lavatory faucets, and it was about half of what Meutzel Plumbing charged us to do that job.

I called saying that water had poured down through my ceiling when shower was being used, and was with out use of my bathroom. Person answering the phone seemed disinterested in my issue, and somewhat annoyed that I even called. She said that it would be a week until they could fit me in, unless I paid after hour rates. Guess I will be moving on to the next number on my list.
