Very dependable whenever an emergency arises. I like the telephone calls and responses as well as the work issues performed. The best company close by and always reasonable prices I feel. Professional and respectful technicians.

Brad was very knowledgeable about the units and took his time to find out if we had a leak in the AC unit or in the lines. He also took the time to tie up a few wires on the furnace and trim off some excess hose. Before leaving he showed us some features of our thermostat that were very helpful. Brad was very courteous and kept the area clean. He wasnt able to start our job until almost dark on Friday evening. In order to do the job right, he needed daylight, so he returned and finished the next morning. I give him 5 stars for his service.The reason for only a 4 star rating from me for the company, is because our job wasnt originally started by Brad. Another technician came out on Friday morning and had to get something from the office to check for a leak. He didnt return and we had to call the office to find out when he would be back. At 3:00 we were told someone else would be back out around 7:00 and that turned into 8:30 pm. Im disappointed in the lack of communication of what was going on and why he didnt return. All in all, our AC unit got recharged and it is working fine. Thank you Brad for the work that you did to get us our air conditioning working again!

I noticed something was wrong with our AC 2 nights ago when the temperature in our house kept rising as the day went on. I Called Thursday for a service call with Dor Mar and got an appointment by 2pm same day! The initial service tech wasn’t able to do anything because our AC unit didnt have universal refrigerant caps, so he put out in the notes that we needed another service call ASAP. Next day, Brian M, was able to come out and helped our unit get back to running properly! This is the quickest i have had a company come out to help whenever I have had ac/furnace issues. Will definitely use again!

Rick and Tom were both friendly and courteous. They were able to answer any questions we had about the new furnace and AC that were installed. The office staff made it easy to setup appointments as well. I would recommend them both if you need a complete replacement for either the furnace or AC.

After paying 250 we walked away feeling like nothing was accomplished. Found a separate company to do the work that was not even what was said was the problem in the first place. The technician was on time so that was good, the thing that wasn’t was he told us what was wrong with the AC unit and how much it would be to fix it, we were told $340, he asked us if that was okay and if we wanted it to get fixed at that price, we said yes, then he comes back in when he was done to collect the money and said it was $450. We said you told us $340, he said well I needed to replace a part that I noticed needed fixed, we said why didn’t you tell us that, we thought this was going to be $340 especially since we were paying cash. He said I’m just the technician, you’ll have to take any issues up with the billing department, so we did. We called a few days later seeing as it was a weekend and spoke to someone in billing, I can’t remember her name (maybe sherry) I’m not sure, but she said the supervisor would get back to us. A few days later we called again, same story, a supervisor was out of the office but would look into it and get back to us. Well it’s over a week later now and still no call back. This doesn’t make me confident in using them again or recommending them to anyone if they can’t even call back when an issue occurs that needs addressed.

I needed a gas log fire place removed and routine maintenance for my gas furnace and gas water heater. Both Alan and Brian were so polite and professional! They arrived when they said they would and took care of the work I requested quickly. I had some questions and they took the time to answer them for me. I really appreciate the work they did! I am going to have them come back to do my a/c maintenance and clean all the ducts in my house. Dor Mar will be caring for my home from now on.

I’ve had a great experience with Dor-Mar from the start. Very friendly and easy to coordinate with the office, plenty of warning and advanced notice on calls from the technicians, and overall just a great experience communicating! Tim came out for my latest check up after a refrigerant refill and dye test, showed me the issue from the original install (completed by a different company), and fixed it on the spot. He even took the time to share some energy saving tips and made sure everything else in the house was working well! Would definitely recommend.

Worst service. Can’t trust! (Editing my review after few weeks of service)I’ve had issues with our furnace. Dormar guys came fixed the issue seven different times giving us different reasons each and every time. They charged us $1500 literally but the issue wasn’t resolved. After charging all that money, they said that the heat exchanger was cracked and that Carbon Monoxide gas was releasing.This time we had a guy come from home depot, and explained him the whole situation. He sent the camera sent into the furnace to see if the heat exchanger was actually cracked, and also checked for Carbon Monoxide(CO) levels. He didn’t spot any crack and there were 0 CO emission. We understood that Dormar was simply trying to fool us to get a new furnace replaced. Wouldn’t trust them at all!!

I had a Dor-Mar technician tell me my furnace is over 10 years old and in need of $200 of repair. Also told me I needed my ducts cleaned and quoted $600 for that. I had my ducts cleaned by another company for $300. I had another HVAC company come out for a second opinion. They advised my furnace is only 3/4 years old and does not need repairs. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY. I WOULD STAY AWAY. Shady shady shady. EDIT: They just followed up with me to say they thought their tech gave a fair evaluation of my Furnace. They guy said the technician could have shut our furnace down because of a code violation. What a laughable company. What a joke. These guys are terrible.

Quick synopsis: A/C went out in the middle of the night in late July. Sent Dor-Mar an appointment request through their website. Choose them because of all the 5 star reviews and 24/7 support. Got a call at 8:30 am from the dispatch saying someone would be calling for afternoon appointment when they are on their way. Ron called me at noon saying him and Rob were 29 minutes away. They showed up in exactly 30 minutes. They were very profession and nice got to work right away, after introducing themselves to me and my wife. They diagnose the problem in less than 5 minutes and had it fixed in 10 minutes. It was great. So good we even asked them to look at another issue we had with are duct system and they were able to suggest a fix to the problem. Cannot recommend any higher!

So great Ron was professional and actually explained everything to us he stayed and made sure it was gonna be good and even changed the battery in our thermostat! Wes called about 15 minutes before he arrived. He was right on time with the service window. He was friendly and professional. Asked me to kick on the air conditioner. By the time I walked out he was replacing the bad part - he had in the truck. He explained what the part that needed replaced was and walked me through the repair. Air is working fine. My tech was super nice so none of this review is a reflection on him, but rather the company. They are EXPENSIVE, and theyll only try to sell you. They came to diagnose the problem and quoted $8K in work, another company did it in less than a week for a quarter of the price. I picked this company because of the good Google reviews so I felt I had to come share my experience. Def. get another quote outside of this company.

When my AC went out they were able to get here the same day, ordered the part right away, and installed it as soon as it came in!! All for reasonable prices. Thanks to techs Cory and Tim who were very friendly and explained everything to me!

I had an older gentleman by the name of Steve install my new HVAC units last year, he was kind, informed, and took his time to do the job correctly. Since then the company has kept up with and/or reached out to me regarding any issues, preventative maintenance, and added services included in my purchase. Customer service is always kind, they follow up, and work around my schedule really well.I have yet to encounter anyone who has made me feel isnt adequate or is inexperienced and winging it. A gentleman by the name of Brian came out yesterday to do a routine check on my AC unit. With our current pandemic in progress he was very understanding and allowed us the option of completing his service without entering the home. He wore a mask and gloves and wasnt bothered by me standing safely away while still answering questions I had regarding the system, his process, and routine cleaning I can do to help maintain my investment between their visits. All in all I recommend the company and havent had a bad experience to date. The only thing that may deter people is the price points, however they are willing to negotiate and you get what you pay for with peace of mind. Thanks guys.

Our AC went out last weekend, and I called another repair place who gave us a timeline of 1 week to come out to fix it. Meanwhile, the house was right around 85-90 for 3 days straight. I couldn’t wait for the other company, so I called Dor-Mar. They said someone would be out that afternoon! Brian M came in time, and fixed the issue within about an hour. He was kind, professional, courteous and gave me some great advise on what I’d need to prepare for, in case our AC gets worse. He didn’t try to up-sell me on anything, and gave a fair price for the repair.
