Great service. Adam was patient with me in figuring out how best to repair my car, no pressure to get other things done and clearly stated which repairs would be necessary and which ones could wait. I thought I had pushed the button for a loaner car, but I didn’t and they were able to call me an uber to get me back to my house. Clearly explained costs and what we could and should do based on my budget.Overall very satisfied. Awesome customer service and fast repairs. Great communication and value. Will definitely be back.

The throw out bearing in my BMW, a 1997 Z3, began making noise, and at my age, was not interested in doing my own repairs. I found Luke’s online, and made an appointment. My first experience with Luke’s was painless. They did a thorough expectation of my vehicle with recommended repairs. I had a complete clutch job, new brakes and shocks on the rear, and a differential oil change for good measure. Driving my Z is fun again, as it should be. I thought the price was reasonable, Adam was a pleasure to work with, and my service technician Lewis did a phenomenal job. I would recommend Luke’s to anyone. In fact I will be taking my Volvo in soon for repairs.

Went for an oil change, and had a few minor things to have checked out. One item was something a national chain had told me would be $600, as it required cutting out and replacing a part. Lukes does all of my major work, so got their second opinion: some lubricant, and a big wrench, fixed the problem within 30 minutes. And, for a super reasonable cost, just a small labor charge. I take both of my vehicles to Lukes and have never been disappointed.

Always a good experience to interact with Aaron and the rest of the team. I received a wild card of a vehicle from a friend,, and they diagnosed and evaluated the vehicle before I put too much into it. I have always been able to trust them and their work, and am so grateful to them. I have watched them grow over the years, and trust no one else as much. Great job as always!

If youre doing repairs on a budget, some mechanics and service managers at this shop may treat you like a piece of red meat.Came in for an alignment because I noticed minor uneven tire wear at last tire change (1mm differences at end of life).Took car to Lukes, told them I would like to do my own oil and brake pad changes and only need an alignment. They said my car was missing some parts and then later same day that I also needed to replace both my rear control arms ($1000 repair). I never had serious problems and decided to take the vehicle back instead. Service manager told me that it would be safe to drive for a while as well.Of course, back from the shop it now slides around the road and makes terrible scratching sounds, a great surprise to find out when driving my 8 year old down I-270. Attached photo shows the rear wheel which pointed ~5 degrees toward the right of the car when I first picked it up.Called back and service manager says he got car into spec before returning it to me. Offers small adjustments, but says I will need to pay in full to get the vehicle back to the shape I left it in. He cannot get me in touch with his manager for 4 more days (my car is not driveable) because of 4th of July holidays. He also recommends that instead of talking to his superior I speak to the other service manager because he would be easier to get a hold of....I then post a review here and within an hour get a prompt call from Luke, the owner, who agreed to inspect the vehicle again to determine if the shop is in error. Same day, Luke gave me his word that he would take care of this and towed my car back to the shop and gave me a loaner free of charge.Luke had his foreman examine the car, and it turned out that his mechanic left a bolt loose... There is now no need for $1000 repairs. Luke apologized to me and said that the loose bolt was the mechanics mistake, but gave no explanation for 1) why the car left the shop in that state (Luke told me their policy is to test every vehicle before returning them to customers), 2) why I was told I was missing parts or 3) why I was told I needed a $1000 repair.My father said that if there was an honest mistake, most people would apologize. I appreciated it when Luke did so. When I came to pick up my car, the service manager at the heart of this tale had a chance to say something too, but instead didnt even make eye contact.In the end, Luke told me that the car was now in spec, free of charge. Of course, after such a wild ride I felt it best to take it to another shop for a check-up. The right front wheel was still misaligned, and I ended up paying to get the alignment done right anyway.

New to city, so I checked Reddit, Google, And YelpHad a great experience. They fixed an issue, but it was not the right issue, so they fixed the real issue for free. Trustworthy, honest, and with EXTRA integrity. That keeps customers for a lifetime (or as long as we live in OH, anyhow!)

I cannot explain enough why customer service is so important, valuing every inquiry and giving potential customers options and quality services. I called due a flyer I was sent in the mail a month again for a winter package maintenance special and the guy Kyle? Sarcastically said well its summer so.. ? Really ? We all can go outside and tell what color the sky is. He promptly said they wouldnt have any openings til Friday the 13th . At least 4 business days that they are open of no openings, no flexibility and no way to service new or long time customers. Thanks for the negative experience Kyle?

Lukes Auto is my first car mechanic shop I have tried in Columbus and will be my only repair shop. They are very professional and fixed the problems in a quick manner. They have a state of the art system to keep me updated and even have a free Uber ride to and from the shop for its customers. I cant say enough good things about their service because so many mechanic shops try and take advantage of you, but not Lukes. I highly recommend them.

Ive recently moved back to Ohio from Washington state after 40 years. I wanted my much older CRV looked at. Happened upon LUKES from a mailer and decided to give them a go! RACE! Honest and reliable! In todays world, its typically more economical to keep your current vehicle performing well than it is to buy a new car. I moved to Columbus 4 years ago, and Lukes Auto has been my sole service provider. I found Lukes Auto via a quick Google search. They are clean and concise with their work. I knew I needed my brakes serviced and possibly replaced, but they addressed other issues I was not aware of which was helpful.I dropped the car off, within a few hours they emailed me a full inspection detail sheet and then we discussed over the phone what I wanted them to do out of the inspection results. They gave me the estimated cost but couldnt guarantee the car would be done that day due to the work needing done. I told them I needed the car and they said they would have it mobile for me to pick up that day and I could schedule the rest of the work to be done the following week. About 2 hours later they called and said they had a loaner (they previously had none available) and that I could pick up that evening. This was over the Easter Holiday weekend.The car was finished by noon the following business day and came in over $100 cheaper than what they had quoted me on the phone.Easy to work with, does great work, thorough and a great price. Highly recommend!

Went in for the summer maintenance package. Service was quick and outrageously low price for an oil change new wipers and a tire rotation. Ive been going to this place for years. They tell you exactly what you ne ed d to get fixed so your car will run and they dont push more fixes on you than your car actually needs. Great place with great service. The guys over at Luke’s Auto are great. I had my 2013 F150 in for a check engine light . Turns out it was an O2 sensor. I decided to have the oil and spark plugs changed as well. During the whole process they kept me updated and even had me out by the end of the day. This kind of service is hard to find anymore and is why I will be back in the future. If you’re looking for honest service look no further.

I really appreciate Luke’s team for repairing my vehicle and for allowing me to use their loaner car. My car breaking down couldn’t have happened at a worse time because I recently gained unplanned emergency custody of my niece, so I’ve been working 12-16 hour shifts to be able to afford the responsibilities of having a new addition to my household and all the mental health services she will need. My point in mentioning that is because in order to do all of that, I of course need my car. So it felt like the end of the world when my car broke down, but Luke’s helped me more than they realize by allowing me to use the loaner car while my car was being repaired. Otherwise I would have really struggled with transportation to and from work in Marysville and then that would have created a string of other issues later in the month. I also know they could have demanded that I give the loaner car back as soon as they were finished working on my car, but they didn’t apply that pressure even though they would have been within their rights to do so. I so appreciate it. Tomorrow when I go to pickup my car and return their car, I’ll be sure to drop off pizza since it’s the least I can do.

Fantastic services. I took my Chevy 2500 for a door repair lock repair that I had just purchased. They did a full diagnostics test on my truck and found that I had leaking fuel lines. The recommended me taking my truck back to the dealer for repairs, which saved me over $2,000 as the dealer should have caught it. I went back for the door repair and they did a great job.

Luke’s auto is by far the BEST car shop I’ve ever taken my car to. The employees are so kind, patient and understanding. Their service is exceptional and do their best to make you comfortable in their waiting room- offering coffee, water, refreshments. I don’t know a whole lot about cars, but they’ve always taken the time to educate me and help me understand the repairs they’re making and why they’re making them. My wheel and entire car shook noticeably whenever I drove. Im not a regular at any mechanics (except for oil changes just at Valvoline or Meineke nearby), so I had to search for a shop that knew cars, was reliable, trustworthy, and affordable. Lukes Auto popped up and stood out with all positive reviews. I also noticed on their website there were several knowledgeable and experienced mechanics that work here. That tells me that theyre able to rely on each other for advice or guidance on car issues that one may not fully understand or have experienced before. I described my problem on their website, and they get back to me within an hour or so what the problem most likely is and scheduled an appointment. I met with Josh and he did a great job explaining to me what was wrong, what needed to be done, and provided me my options. Josh provided me a quote and stuck with it. They even provided me a loaner car free of charge, which was an older car but it was very well taken care of. They replaced all my tires and now driving my car feels amazing and I feel a lot more confident on our unpredictable Ohio roads. I expect to be a regular here for all my car needs. Best car repair in Columbus,I had bring my volkswagen to them on a Monday they told me they wont be able to run some test on it till Thursday after running test on it on Thursday they told me what the problem was and how much is gonna cost after finalizing everything I got my car back the next day and its working perfectlyMy car was broken down for a month other mechanic couldnt fix it but when I bring it to Luke they get the job done in less than 2 days

I have trust issues with garages. When I find one I trust, I stick with it. Lukes auto is by far the best. They send you reports with photos of what the issues are so you have proof of what they are seeing. The guys at the front desk have great customer service skills and talk to you kindly and honestly. Most shops try to push you into fixing everything they see. These guys were great and told me their opinion on what they thought was most important and what could wait if I didnt want to pursue it that day. I had multiple things done and it was all finished the next day. I cant compliment them enough. Great job guys!

Towed van here after AAA said we had an issue they couldn’t help us with. Staff at Luke’s were able to accurately diagnose and repair our van. Since they had to do an extra repair not included in the original diagnosis, it was provided for free. While I was waiting to pick up my van, another customer came in to pick up her car and because nothing was wrong with it, they did not charge her for the diagnostic tests that they performed. These are just a few examples of many as to why we only trust Luke’s with our vehicles; knowledgeable and honest!

Ive been taking my vehicles to Lukes for a few years and have been really happy with the service. Had my 2004 Honda there today. Had 2 oil leaks fixed, a ball joint replaced and an oil change. I love this place! Very honest and efficient. When I had to make fairly major repairs on my car they gave me a fantastic report with everything wrong with it and what level of disrepair it was in. Then advised me on what I did and did not need to do. Plus the give you a free warranty. When I had a few small issues after the repair they fixed them for free since it was related. Very quality service and friendly people. The online scheduling is also very simple and easy to use.

This is my second experience with Lukes auto and they will have a returning customer with me! They are a very honest shop that does good work! The first repair I had done turned out to be more than anticipated, but the service team kept us in the loop and checked with us every step of the way. Although the price was more than expected it was still a very fair price. I know because my family owns an auto repair shop out of state, and I checked with them on the price of the repair, and it was right on book value! Our second repair was much cheaper than expected! They have very talented technicians who quickly and accurately diagnosed the electrical issue, and even warrantied one of the parts that I was unaware had a warranty! They have very fair prices and even better quality of their work. They let you know what is wrong with your vehicle and what Maintanance they recommend but present it in a low pressure helpful way! I fully recomend them to anyone needing repair work. Best shop in columbus, and Ive been to a few!

I have absolutely zero knowledge (and I mean below even the bare minimum) about cars, and my grandpa and uncle have taken care of mine since I bought it. Having lived in Chillicothe his entire life (and mine), my grandpa has a shop he loves and trusted to help us regularly. But given that I moved an hour away, that just wasn’t doable for me anymore.So I embarked on finding my own shop to trust and did a lot of research online reading the reviews of different shops. Luke’s Auto Shop isn’t in my backyard (in Gahanna), BUT its reviews were the best I’d read of any. I reached out on here (Google) via message and Aaron was super quick to respond and they were also quick to get me an appointment. Aaron ended up being the one to help me during the rest of my encounters at Luke’s (spoiler alert: he’s an awesome dude).They were really quick, very thorough, and up front about everything, just like the reviews said. I really appreciated the report of my car and being so informed about everything and when it may need addressed. I didn’t feel taken advantage of at all, or even that intimidated. It was very comfortable and when I had a concern after my first appointment, they were quick to get me in again and take a look at it. They also got a part for my car pretty quickly too, which was very appreciated.I drive a 2010 Ford Focus, and she’s unfortunately in her senior years, so I know this won’t be my last visit here that isn’t altogether “routine,” but I feel really good about trusting their team to do a wonderful job, listen to me, and not make me feel like I’m a total moron (only somewhat kidding). Warning biased review - I used to work at Lukes as a technician but now work for a non-profit that partners with Lukes. I needed an alignment, tire balance and an oil change on my Saab but had no time to do it myself. Lukes gave me A+ treatment, went through my vehicle thoroughly, and performed the work at a very reasonable rate. I was very impressed when their inspection of my vehicle lined up exactly with everything I know about my vehicle. Jason was also very professional and treated me with the same courtesy he would any other customer. I recommend them.

Took my car in to get my blower motor and connector replaced and they quoted me 200 dollars above what it should’ve cost. They did a great job, but if I hadn’t called and asked for them to break down the price/got another quote from another auto service shop they would’ve charged me much more. Always make sure to google parts and ask why it’s so expensive! Especially if you are young (or female). Blower motor OEM was 60 dollars online, and they were charging me 220. Adam at the front was very nice and helpful, everyone else was alright.

BE CAREFUL WITH MECHANICS YOU DON’T KNOW. Im not sure how this place has such high reviews. They obviously try to take advantage of you if youre 1. young and 2. a woman. I had my car towed in after a flat tire due to the valve stem breaking and I asked them to check the ac as well since it had stopped blowing cold air. They charged me $100+ to replace the valve stem (you can get a valve stem at autozone for less than $20, and labor canNOT be $80 for that). Also, they called me and was asking how long Im planning on using the car basically saying its a pos and I need ten billion repairs. They tried to tell me my transmission fluid was leaking (its not) & I needed to spend $800+ to repair it. They tried to tell me it costs $1200 to replace an ac compressor, I was able to replace an ac compressor in another car for less than $400. To top it all off, they told me I needed new spark plugs because they were long overdue to be replaced. I replaced my spark plugs less than a month ago. So, nice try guys, maybe youll be able to trick someone else! :)

I’ve only been here once, but for the first time ever I DIDN’T feel like I was being taken advantage of at a car shop. They did a thorough documentation of issues, showed me pictures of what was wrong, provided a detailed explanation in writing, answered my questions, and didn’t pressure me when I chose not to complete all of the services they recommended. It was more expensive than I’m used to paying for car service, however, I’m learning that going with the cheapest shop will cost you more money in the long run when things are done incorrectly. So you might as well do it right the first time and go to Luke’s.

Ive been taking my car here for years. Trustworthy and friendly workers. Fair pricing. Dont try to sell you on things you dont actually need fixed, I dont know much about cars so I feel like Ive been taken advantage of at other shops, I have complete faith in Luke and his crew that they will be honest with me about what my car needs vs what is more cosmetic or not super important. If you’re looking for quality no nonsense auto motive repair than these guys are it. I have been a customer for a number of years, and they continue to impress me. I was worried that I might have had catastrophic failure with my vehicle, and was actually considering purchasing a new one when LUKES AUTOMOTIVE found what was wrong fixed it up and then warrantied the work! Now my vehicle that I was thinking of that I would have to get rid of runs as good as new.

Shortly before I was planning to leave for a trip to Cincinnati I noticed that The sidewalk of one of my tires didn’t look right. Rather than risk having a problem during my trip, I called Luke’s, and they told me to bring my car over right away and they would look at it. They determined that I needed a new tire, ordered it, got it in that afternoon, and rotated my tires, put on the new one, and balanced them. Since they knew I was headed for Cincinnati, they also did a quick once over to make sure everything else was okay. I got to Cincy a little later than I had planned, but I got there safely after a smooth drive! Thanks, Luke’s!!

Always easy and convenient. Cant beat the loaner cars! Josh and the front desk crew were professional and helpful as always. Most shops are experts in cars but few are experts in customer service like Lukes Auto.

Hands down the best experience I’ve ever had taking my vehicle to any mechanic, ever... and that includes the dealership. From the initial phone call setting up an appointment (just got an estimate from another mechanic that was a fortune and I was in a stressful situation), to in-person experience, to the complementary loaner vehicle, the extremely reasonable quote, the attention to detail and HONESTY! Shoutout to this crew and thank you for giving me faith that the auto repair and service industry doesn’t have to be as scammy as projected to be elsewhere. This place is great. Very very honest and thorough. They take pictures of the insides of ur car and let you see why something needs replaced. They are very detailed. Better than the dealership! Thank you for great service.

Originally went to Lukes for an oil change. They were very professional and conscientious about sanitation and social distancing. Gave me an estimate for new tires which I knew I needed! Made an appointment for 4 new tires at a great price with alignment, better than the other estimates I had. I’m very happy with their service and would recommend them to my friends.

Josh Wegley and his team have been extremely helpful. We take all our vehicles there to get worked on. Lukes auto is by far the best shop in town.

They run an impressive operation. They email pictures of all work being done. Top notch customer service. Uber rides, loaner cars. No wonder they have such high ratings on Google and yelp. Every auto repair shop should try to emulate their model.

The employees at Luke’s Auto have so much integrity and care about their customers as well as doing excellent repair work. Their prices are incredibly reasonable, and they even have rental cars in case you need to drive while your car is being repaired. You also get emails with work status updates. Every person I’ve recommended Luke’s Auto to now loves it and only takes their car there!

After trying many other service/repair shops, I feel that they are the most honest, and are priced competitively. They always do a thorough job, and will recommend other needed maintenance or repairs without being pushy.

So I have 2010 Mercedes GL450 fully loaded it needed some work reached out to several centers but most did not want to touch my truck I spoke with Josh and he took care of my concerns and made sure that my truck was safe to drive it was a very pleasant experience with no fear of padding the bill. They are respectful mindful and considerate of their customers time and money I was able to get everything under budget and tooled her on 270 best money spent they are my mechanics now and the loaner was clean and was maintained so had no problems seeing my clients Thank You Josh and the Luke Automotive Family see you in the fall
