Tony was very professional and did my nails just as I requested. I asked for an ombré color and he perfected it. Lee did my eyebrows and I was very pleased with them. Definitely will be back.

6.19.21 Update: EXTREMELY disappointed on my second visit... I paid extra for a deluxe pedicure but didnt receive the services and the pic of my pedicure speaks for itself. I left the spa and went to five and below to purchase a file then immediately fixed my nails without taking a pic of the manicure. It was horrible. After paying $70, I have to go home and give my myself a pedicure to fix this.4 Stars: We really enjoyed our manicures and pedicures. We will definitely be back again for those services. The massage chairs were great - I could feel it from my neck to my thighs. The only downside was the eyebrow waxing. My brows are uneven and there is a dip on one side. I will need to pencil them in until they grow out again.

I have recently become disappointed with poor customer service of many local nail salons in that they refuse to accommodate reasonable customer requests - particularly in refusing to hand buff my natural nails instead of using a dremel in preparation of a dip manicure. Some flat out refuse to use anything other than the dremel and drill bits on my natural and bare nails, with some claiming the dip polish will come off if the nails are hand buffed versus using a dremel, which is completely bogus. I have sensitive nails and skin and sought out this salon with the express inquiry of their customer service to find out if they would be willing to accommodate my request and they did, without any further ado about it! There was a bit of a language/understanding barrier, but no more so than many other salons. They did not require an appointment and they immediately got to work on me when I arrived. If I made a request, they accommodated me, which seems to be disappearing in businesses now-a-days, at least as far as customer service is concerned. Their customer service was fantastic! I would recommend this salon, for sure! The dip manicure I got was VERY well done and I have added pictures for reference.

Unfortunately the manicurist scrubbed my toe so much it started bleeding. Bled a lot, toe very painful today. Huge painful scab! There is absolutely nothing to be discussed. I paid for services for myself and my sister so we could enjoy our visit together. At least she got her nails done. I’m sorry your staff isn’t trained properly. I’ve been coming there for years, then to have this happen. The manicurist didn’t know I was watching everything she did, including trying to hide her mistake

This place was a pleasant surprise. It’s hard to find a nail salon that is awesome and reviews don’t always help. This salon was quick, even without an appointment on a Saturday! Great chairs, complimentary beverages including wine. Dat was a great technician. The only downside was that my chair was not fully functional, but comfortable nonetheless.

I stopped in today for a full set and pedicure. My full set even though it looks good.... It is not what I really wanted. I had to ask her to cut them down 3 times, I explained to her I liked them super short....I gave up after I could tell she was annoyed by the way she kept grabbing and forcing my hand a certain way. The shape isnt exactly what I wanted either but didnt want to bother her again. The color (which is mostly my fault) not what I expected but they wouldnt really let me look at too many colors because they wouldnt let me leave my chair. Now on to the pedicure... It wasnt bad but it wasnt great either. I have dry feet and wanted them done nicely so I asked for the second one. She looked so bored and unhappy with her job while massaging my feet I almost wanted to tell her she didnt have to. Then 2 other ladies showed up and the gentleman helping them offered them a drink, even a glass of wine, I spoke up and said Mmm Id like a glass of wine the other ladies asked for water and the woman doing my pedicure just smiled and kept doing my massage ... I never got a drink. This place has great patential but failed for me today!

I was very disappointed my pedicure was not the basic pedicure and the only difference was she applied another lotion. My acrylic overlay on my natural nails was awful and painful several cuticles bleed and she put some solution on it to stop the bleeding. My nails were sore for days afterwards

Ive come here consistently over the last 5 years and Ive never been truly disappointed until today. My gel pedi is an absolute mess. $70 down the drain.I told the woman with the headset on that i wasnt satisfied with the work done & the response was i know and that other clients have complained about the same woman! TAKE HER OFF THE FLOOR. SHE CANT DO NAILS.I wouldnt have left the review if the manager had resolved the issue in the store when i brought it up. If i could upload picture i would. Its absolutely awful. The woman got polish all on my skin, and everything.

First time here today, and it was by far the BEST experience Ive had at a nail salon. I usually dont get my nails done due to the techs being rough and my nails usually hurt afterwards. Today was the OPPOSITE. Tina was so gentle and paid very close attention to what she was doing. My nails look amazing!(Ive never seen ombrè nails before!)I then got my eyebrows waxed and tinted by Lee. She was amazing as well, and my brows look perfect! I will definitely be back in 2 weeks :)I have spent well over $200 on my nails and brows before and today I spent just under $100 and left both ladies a $10 tip each. Worth it!

I love it here. Its in the same shopping center with Marshalls and Nordstrom Rack. Lee is the manager she walks around and makes sure everything is ok every time I come in there. They offer you a beverage. They are nice, clean and hygienic. Will definitely be back.

I’ve been here several times but since moving to the Chapin area, I haven’t been coming as regularly. Today we dropped in while out shopping. As always, the staff is very friendly and the place is always clean and has a great atmosphere. Pedi was great and the guy really took his time but when he got to do my gel mani with French tips, it ended up looking like a kid did it. It is very uneven, streaky, and the gel is very rough and clumpy. I hate to even write this but I feel like if you are paying 110 bucks for a service, it should be done correctly. 😞

Im from North, its over priced for no reason in general for nail service. They serve you a drink, place is clean, ppl and techs friendly. I wear my natural nails and I just feel they are not about nail care. My gel polish was lumpy. I have not had a good manicure since I moved to SC.

This place was so unprofessional they gave me a guy to do my pedicure which I had to keep telling him he was to rough ! Then when it was time for my nail removal he stabed my finger to where I started bleeding! I ask for a female after that point she tried so hard but I still had to tell her how it do and I still was unsatisfied and hurting when. I left! Never going back! Oh yeah they over charge you to if you are not aware!!

The tech took an hour and a half on my nails and they are still HORRIBLE! I originally wanted a full set and pedicure and eyebrow wax u ended up just getting a full set and toe polish. My nails are thick and clumpy. My toes have polish all over them. It is just a disaster. I will never visit this place again

It was my first time here and I absolutely loved it. I was greeted before I even walked in the door. The man working on my toes (I can’t remember his name) was extremely sweet and did a wonderful job and Tom did my nails and they came out amazing!! I’ll definitely be coming back!!!

Needed a manicure in 30 minutes and the lady delivered... she told me I should get gel because it would dry faster, so I did. She was very kind but... the nails at the end had bubbles inside! And the gel came off after 3 days and my nails were dead!! I still have them all cracked now. I just wish I wouldn’t have given her so much tip for something that came of in 3 days... 35 manicure gel + 10 tips 😭😩

Very clean and friendly environment! I had my first pedicure after almost a year (due to covid, don’t judge me) so I know my feet were probably a force to be reckoned with; when I left they were so soft and smooth! Definitely will return 😊

I went here for the first time today and got a pedi and eyebrow wax. The place was nice and I didn’t wait long even though they were busy and my pedicure was nice but my eyebrows, totally different story. I have very thick eyebrows and I tried to tell the tech, Lee, that I just wanted them cleaned up and I hadn’t had them done in a WHILE so they were super bushy... when she finished I had very thin brows with one shaped okay and the other no shape at all. I was very upset bc my eyebrows are my pride and joy. She did my eyebrows super fast and the whole thing felt rushed and unprofessional to be honest bc she was talking on the phone while she waxed me and told me once I started my concerns she had not thinned my eyebrows when she did. I recommend this place for overall experience but if you’re particular about your eyebrows like me go somewhere else.

I started seeing the original owner in high school, followed her to 3 locations as well as throughout my adulthood and her service ans quality was unmatched. We became friends. The salon is now owned by her in laws and their service is just as amazing! Tom is my tech and is personable, detail oriented and gets my nails perfect EVERT time! I highly recommend this salon!

I always have been going to Lavie nails and I don’t know where Jason is but they need him back I went last night and had the worst service ever I tried telling the lady my nails was too short and then she proceeded to put white polish under the yellow polish that I originally asked for and I kept saying I didn’t like my nails when she asked of course I paid because I got services but I am not pleased my nails are horribly ugly and I’m not happy at all. I will not be returning to lavie nails then when I called and told them about my nails the lady manager said I could come get them fixed by the same lady I said no I don’t want her back on my nails is there someone else and she kept saying the same lady that messed them up will refix I am so disappointed and upset that I have to go to work with my nails like this.

In here today, my eyebrows are cute but are not alike. Idk if she was in a rush or what. I pay for a basic pedicure, and because I got gel polish was charged an extra 20. So 50 for a basic pedicure with gel polish. I guess Ill be sticking with Blush for now on. Very over priced!

DO NOT GO HERE FOR EYEBROWS! I am so disappointed I could cry. I went here because they had 4 stars. I only wanted an eyebrow wax. I have thick eyebrows and the lady just totally made a new shape of them. She was only in the room doing them for about 2 minutes. Something told me to just leave but I didn’t. My eyebrows are way too thin for how they normally are and they aren’t even! She offered to make the thicker one thinner but they still are just bad. Never again. I wish I could give -5 stars ):

I got a gel fill-in on Saturday and by Monday the polish had peeled. I went back on Monday and they did them ove r and by Wednesday peeling again.

My sister and I made an appointment for Saturday at opening for a nail service. They did not have people there to service us for our appointment so I was seen well before she was. As I waited for her to finish, I was allowed to stay seated in the station I was already seated in. As my sister washed her hands, I observed the technician take the acetone used in the bowl to soak off her acrylic nails put the it back in the acetone container and put the container back in the drawer! (Let me say it simple: he squeezed the bottle and sucked up the acetone from the bowl back into the container, wiped the bowl with a paper towel and put the container back up in his drawer!) I did not make a scene, but I think others should know and understand. Is this a standard practice? Used acetone repurposed for other uses? That doesn’t seem sanitary. This was my third time going to this shop because I liked the dip nail services. I will not be returning. He did this right in front of me, so I can’t imagine what we do not see.

I was visiting my fiancé who’s stationed at Fort Jackson and decided to get a mani/pedi and wax on 11/7/2020. The Staff was friendly and the lady who did my wax was good. But I guess the lady who did my nails wasn’t that good. My pedicure had the wrong color on it (didn’t realize until after I left). My gel manicure didn’t even last a week. The first few days my nails were ok but when I got back to TN on Monday, you couldn’t even tell I had my nails done. Nail color was chipping, streaky, and peeling. The olive green color was fading and my cuticles looked like they had already grown out. Again, I live in TN so I couldn’t go back up there. Ended up getting my nails redone while back home.

I had a pedicure here. Mai was wonderful, very professional, seemed to enjoy her work, and was always checking that nothing was causing discomfort. They sit you in massage chairs (a nice surprise). Bring your mask if you are coming during this (COVID) time.

My French polish is a little messy but the leg & foot massage was very relaxing and the massage chairs are very nice.

I was extremely satisfied and in love with my nails once I left. However, my very first time here coming here was Saturday March 21st, 2020 and as of today (Wednesday March 25th, 2020), two of my nails are already lifting. I do know that once youve had them on for a while that they begin to lift from needing a fill-in however, this is not the case because it has only been four days. Other than that the place was clean and the workers were friendly.

It has been a long time since someone has done such a magnificent job with my nails. So much detail and patience! Perfectly painted gel polish at a good price. I just moved to Columbia 2 months ago from New Mexico. I am used to a liquid gel manicure. I checked 13 nail salons in this city and finally I found Tom at La Vie nails. I drove the 45 minutes it took me to get there from my house. I was sure I was going to get there and they would not know what I was talking about. To knew!!!. He does a beautiful job and I will continue to drive the 45 minutes it takes to get there, because it is worth it!!!!

I have being doing powder dip nails for a while. I selected LaVie because it was convenient and I couldn’t get to my regular salon before an event. Well, 48 hours later, I attend the event with 4 chipped nails. They lack 2 very important aspects as a business— quality of services performed and decent customer service.

My mother, stepmom, and I walked in with no appointment to get our toes, nails, and eyebrows done for my wedding the next day. We had NO wait as there are a lot of employees to handle their business. We started and they offered us wine and there massaging chairs were AMAZING. Lee was AWESOME. She personally did my pedicure and eyebrows better than I could of imagined them ever looking. All the employees were sweet and double and triple checked that the color was correct. I will always come back to LaVie nail salon!

I have been going to this nail shop for almost 3 years. It is nothing for me to drop between $300 and $400 at this place in a month. So imagine my surprise when I go to get a nail fixed and I am treated like a second-class citizen. I didn’t have an appointment so I patiently waited for my turn. I was called to a chair where the nail tech proceeded to work me in while he was servicing another client. Meanwhile people who came after me who were getting more expensive services were worked on and given undivided attention. When I brought this to the nail techs attention that this was a problem for me he proceeded to try and get loud with me. As much as I love the people who usually do my nails there it appears that I will need to take my business elsewhere as the new management is only interested in making as much money as possible. I would’ve never gotten this treatment when Tony and his wife were the owners. I am beyond disappointed with today’s events.

I go to Lavie regularly and usually ask for the same two people. They weren’t available so I had to get someone else. I was advised the person that did my nails did good work. This was NOT the case. I got white gel polish like I always do. The same day they appeared streaky and in even. Highly dissatisfied.

The store is nicely decorated and has a relaxing environment. Everything is very clean and the employees are very kind and professional. I had an appointment with Tom at 6:30 and he was available and ready when I arrived. I always use LaVie Nails and Spa and would recommend them to anyone.

I stated going here a couple of years ago and I love everyone that works there, I have always been treated great, always offered a drink as I walk in. When my mom came to visit from California I took her here and they treated her wonderfully. Nina has always been my choice person to go to, but they are all great employees. I came in and asked for a nail take off . Anywhere else it’s $10 I got charged $15. I told the lady I was in a rush she said she could do it . She sat me and cut 4 of my nails then another customer came she left me and started doing the other women’s feet ??? She finally came back and ANOTHER women walked in for a nail take off GEL TOO and she did hers first !! I was there for a hour for a simple nail take off and she kept telling me 5 more minutes psh NEVER coming back .
