Barbie has cut my hair for about a year now and I love her talent and service, she is very sweet! The front desk staff is sweet and helpful, I always enjoy seeing them!The salon is very clean and full service, I would recommend them for anything needed in the way of beauty treatments or massages!

Wanted to book spa days for a friend and I as a birthday gift - one receiving 4 services, the other 3. Tried booking online but it kept putting our services intermingled with each other so one of us would be waiting for 1+ hours multiple times while the other was receiving services. So tried calling to book the appointments. Was put on hold and then hung up on. Going elsewhere where you can book services at the same time and they wont hang up on you when you call.

I am so thankful that I found Riversong! I really struggled with my skin and Mercedes immediately showed genuine care for what I wanted to achieve with my skin. I go once a month for facials and am always warmly greeted and made comfortable. All the staff members are so friendly, pricing is reasonable, and appointment times are always flexible (which is awesome for my work schedule). I recommend Riversong to all my friends or anyone looking for spa services!

Went to Riversong for the first time yesterday and cannot recommend the facility or Michelle enough! I have never had a massage, facial, pedicure, or manicure before and she was caring, attentive, and made the entire experience perfect. I cant wait to go back and book another appointment with her!

Bad experience with hair color not professional with shampooing hair.

Came in for an eyebrow wax. Used to go to European wax center, but they kept messing up my brow shape. They lady at Riversong did an amazing job! She was very sweet and answered all my questions regarding brow tint, eyelash tint and lash lift.

We had a couples massage scheduled for one month.they CANCELED WITH NO NOTICE!One week prior they left a voice message that they needed to switch my massage therapist. For only one of us. I did not call them back I assumed they would do what they needed to do to fill the requested services for my appt. I had responded to the text messages confirmation, that we would be there.Day of massage we arrive 1pm and the lady said they have canceled our appt because they had 3 workers call in on this day. I inquired why she did not call to inform us that she canceled our massage. They had been open for business for 5 hours at this point. She said that because I did not call back a week ago that she did not want to bombard me by calling me the day of our massage and inform us of X2 canceled hour massages.I asked if she called others clients to inform them of short staff cancelations. Jessica told me she did call other clients. I asked why she did not call me, she could not answer. the VM was listened to, it did not say if I do not call back my appt and my husbands appt would be canceled.We really wanted those massages ☹

The entire experience was amazing!I went in to get a haircut and have my eyebrows done and I had the most amazing stylists. I felt very welcomed by them. The stylist made small talk with me, which Im not very good at, but made it less awkward by talking about things that a teenager would relate to. She made me feel very comfortable. She was very gentle while washing my hair and styling it, which is a perk if you or your child has a sensitive head. The products they use to wash my hair were very good quality, and the scent she used was very enjoyable. When I got my eyebrows waxed, the girl was also very kind. She talked to me in order to distract me from the uncomfort of having my eyebrows waxed. She was also very gentle, and would pluck any extra hairs that were a stray. The entire staff is well trained and know exactly what will look good on you, so if they make suggestions take them into consideration. It is a little pricey, but it is definitely worth it for the quality that is provided. The entire place is very, very clean and has a tranquil atmosphere that will make you feel very calm while you are being treated. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a welcoming salon and spa in Columbia.

First time visit today. Highly disappointed with the entire experience. First of all they canceled my pedicure appointment with no notice and most importantly they charged me twice the amount for hair highlights without informing me on the add ons!I’m never going back here again!

Jesse was my masseuse and was fantastic! Loved every minute of my massage and left with some professional tips I can use at home to help ease some muscle pain. Worth every penny and definitely plan on going back!

I’ve had massages at a lot of different places, but Shawn has by far been the best masseuse. He explained why my back was tight and what stretches I could do to help it. He took the time to make suggestions that will make my life better, but he also relieved so much back pain with an hour massage.

Consistently cancels appointments day of, forcing me as client to change my schedule to meet the needs of the business. Unacceptable, expensive, and of course tipping is expected. Will not return can not recommend.

Walking into this Spa, I immediately knew it was a very nice place. Drinks and snacks provided in the waiting room, Smiling, polite staff, and fair pricing. Leslie was the person who provided my waxing service and she did a splendid job. It was my first time getting a wax and she made it a fun, pleasant experience. Now that I have partaken in this waxing experience, I am addicted and cant wait to go back to this spa.

Any service I have received from here has been very relaxing. Shawn gives great massages and Ashley did my first aloe and herbal wrap. I highly recommend it this establishment for all of your needs.

My current stylist for years had just up and left so I was in search for a new. I am very picky about who cuts my hair just like everyone. I had read the reviews on several and decided to try Barbie. She was very professional and I was pleasantly surprised at the service at Riversong She didnt try to change my hair style which most do. It was cut to perfection my 1001 layers that I like. I will defiantly come back for sure. I have already recommended Riversong to a few of my friends. Great service great clean place.

I booked a deep tissue massage with Stephen the day before a major holiday. Perhaps he was eager to start his day off (as the spa was, of course, closed on the holiday), because the massage was definitely lacking. Hes a nice gent, but it was the worst massage Ive ever had, and Im no stranger to massages. I am a gym rat; as such, I have a lot of tension/knots, especially in my shoulders/upper back. They are quite noticeable when felt. Stephen apparently didnt have the strength and/or the desire to attempt to work these out, which was highly disappointing, as I told him beforehand that my shoulders/upper back are full of knots. I also asked him to spend extra time on my quads, as they are sore from a recent weightlifting session. This didnt happen, either. I would describe his technique as a light rub. To top things off, he definitely finished way before the 55 minutes Id paid for. I paid an extra $10 for the deep tissue, but trust me, it definitely was not. I would not recommend this massage therapist.

My first time ever being to a place like this, and got my folks appointments right after mine! The staff were very kind and patient answering all of my novice questions, and were able to help me pick out a good moisturizer to handle my unecessarily pale skin. Great place, and highly recommended!

Went with my girlfriend and we both had Pedicures .I had Alex and my friend had Holly they both did a wonderful job and they now have special massage chairs extra bonus.

I so enjoyed my massage. I called to get a same day appointment and they got me in immediately. I walked in and the staff along with my massauese greeted me. I was then whisked away to begin my massage. Too bad I live so far, they were great, would love to return!

Riversong is great. Just went there for my first time. Reservation was easy to make, receptionist was friendly and helpful. Facility was clean and well decorated.Ashley did a great job with the massage.I will be back soon.

I feel this place is very over priced and charges extra for everything. The guy who gave me my spa treatment actually gave me worse muscle cramps that what I had before. I usually go to Serenity Spa and Mexico and come out of there feeling relaxed and amazing. I thought I’d try something different and did I regret it. I even drank plenty the next 24 hours to reduce the chance of muscle cramping. Not worth your money!

My family and I have frequented Riversong Spa in Columbia for over 4 years, with mostly good experiences. During my last visit, I received quite possibly the worst massage imaginable. I was with my mother, who gave this to me as a gift, so relaying to the manager that I was disappointed was awkward but clearly said that I had a bad experience. In response, the manager not only conceded that it was likely a light massage because the masseuse was new and an aesthetician, but did not ask me what exactly happened or provide options for a resolution. Instead, she put a 10% discount on the account (which was not revealed until after checkout) and made no other effort to solve the issue. I left Riversong more stressed than I had upon arrival because I spent 50 minutes continually asking the masseuse to stop, change, or increase pressure. Can you imagine how poor a massage would have to be to write a bad review?I decided to make sure I followed up and be clear about the situation, that perhaps the manager did not understand my level of dissatisfaction. I called a total of SIX times over a period of 4 weeks. Each of those times I reached someone, told my story, and was told I would receive a call back. I never once received a return call.The odd part is that each person I spoke to seemed to sincerely sympathize and want to provide a refund, but said that only the manager could do that.I do think there are people there that are kind, making an effort, and likely some that are skilled. I am so disappointed by the poor service and failure to follow up and lack of appropriate solution, I wont be returning.

I got a massage from Brianna C. It was THE BEST massage Ive ever had, and Ive had tons. Ive been healing from whiplash, and her healing hands helped my pain ease for several days. I recommend this spa and especially Brianna C.

I had just moved to Columbia to colorado back in February, and the trip took quite a toll on me. Making my appointment was easy, and the lady at the front desk was quite nice. my masseuse was very attentive to what was causing me problems. i have already scheduled another massage for my birthday in november.

Do not go here, they are unable to keep their scheduled appointments. For the 2nd time I have made a haircut appointment just to be told that the appointment was 30 minutes previously. The work done is great, but will not go back until they get their front desk staff trained.

After a 60 mile bike ride yesterday I called Riversong knowing a massage was in order. I love Riversong because they always have an appointment for me whenever I call. Not knowing which therapist would be available on short notice I was scheduled with Daniel Wampler for a deep tissue massage. OMGosh!!!!! It was WONDERFUL!!!!! I doubt I would have gotten through today without it. Thanks Riversong!!!! Thanks Daniel!!!!! :)

Have been to this spa several times and enjoyed each visit. Professional, good atmosphere, peaceful.

Sometimes this place is great, other times I leave with bleeding cuticles and have to wear bandaids on my freshly polished toenails and fingernails. My most recent visit left a lot to be desired. The nail technician was very rough prepping my nails for gel and also very rough on my cuticles. It didn’t get any better when she moved to the pedicure. Maybe she was new but it was unsettling and I doubt I’ll be back. It’s too bad as it is a nice facility and I’ve had a good mani/pedi here before but I don’t want to chance it if that can happen.

Ive been to Riversong Spa for several services from April to June 2016 and had great experiences each time. I had my makeup done for my engagement photos in April, I had a massage and a mani/pedi the day before my wedding, and myself, my bridal party and my mom all had our makeup done on the morning of my wedding. I enjoyed my time at the spa each time, and I loved how the makeup turned out for all of us for the wedding. Shout out to Alex, Candace, Kaidy, Lydia and Ashley for their awesome work with me and with my wedding party!

My fiance and I came here for a couples massage. It was great! I had just had my daughter few months prior and my back was a wreck. We both cane out of there feeling great.If there was any complaints at all it would be that when my neck was getting worked on my therapist wasnt the most understanding whn my head didnt want to corporate. It was mainly funny to me tho.We are returning tho and I would recommend riversong for anyone wanting a massage.

I have frequented RiverSong Spa in Columbia for the last 3-4 years. I normally just purchased the Signature Pedicure but started adding the Signature Facial about a year ago and I am glad that I did. The special efforts that the team puts forth to make your sessions the most is spectacualr. I have yet to have a non enjoyable time when I go there.
