Mr. Jon was a very great customer service representative. He took the time to look at the AC unit. Mr. Jon also helped and explained all of my options for purchasing the new AC unit. Mr. Jon also applied for all of the options to get me finance. I would recommend Mr. Jon to go to other customers homes when needed because he was very patience and kind, and this is what a customer service representative should be like. I would give Mr. Jon a 5 with customer service. Have A Great Day!

I worked with ARS after initially a less than efficient sales visit. However, they re-engaged and the experience was great. They did have a mix-up on the thermostat initially but I ended up getting the one I wanted to begin with. Everyone I worked with from the second sales visit on were awesome. Now hopefully this larger unit will also cool our limited upstairs area. At least theres no more dependency on propane for heat with their creeping costs!

Ive done some stupid things in my time but hiring these clowns tops them all. They say a picture is worth a thousand words well the one below was due to their incompetence. Aside from that the unit never truly worked correctly and still doesnt. Calls never get returned and they have ghosted or ignored me completely. Still dont have the correct bypass for the system they installed that I paid for. Even under warranty Ive decided Id rather pay someone else at this point and cut my losses. I dont want any of them at my house anymore because their incompetence makes my blood boil.

I was very satisfied that I was welcomed to call Jon V. or ARS customer service with questions or concerns. When I had called both parties with questions and concerns, I was greeted with friendly voices, respect with no attitudes, and politeness EVERY time. I was very satisfied with the hard work from the guys who worked in the rain until darkness of night. I called twice about concerns and twice tech guys came as scheduled and addressed issues to my satisfaction. Awesome job, thanks to Jon V. and to ARS. I am getting this company for a second home project soon.

He strongly recommended a duct replacement as he showed me several areas where the insulation has failed and lessoning the efficiency of my system. He will be sending someone to quote that work. I knew I needed new ducts so I was glad to hear he recommended it.

Complaint about Jason Smith HVAC specialist (License # M-2842)Unfortunately, Jason was selected to assess a unit that stopped working. I met with him today and he looked at the system and said the cost was normally $11k but that he could give a 50% discount and sell me a 2 ton- new unit for $6.5k. I told him that I would have multiple vendors look at the unit but he was the first to access it. He was visibly upset when I told him I would let him know later today my decision. His tone of voice changed and his enthusiasm to reconnect later was polar opposite from our initial exchange. When the second vendor arrived there was a part of my unit -that was present when he arrived to access- gone the DUAL CAPACITOR. No longer present in the unit and also the FAN was disconnected!I am aware of the laws surrounding this type of situation.CONSUMERS BEWARE!!!! It is unfortunate that named professionals will go through great lengths to make a bad situation worse. There are many legal ramifications to stealing property from someones home.I will update you all so you can make sure you think twice before choosing ARS as a preferred vendor.

While there was some bumps in the road at the being with equipment shortages and scheduling. Everything got installed and works great from what I can tell. Tremayne the guy that had to change out the Thermostat and did the final once over was one of the most professional people I had the chance to deal with. He took the time to explain how everything worked and answered every question before departing.

System installed September 2019Multiple issues with poor workmanshipApparently no knowledge or complete disregard for the National Electrical Code“Tune-up” in September 2020, absolutely no interaction or explanation of service performed or systemSystem appeared to struggle as a heat pump in the winter but it was hard to tell as we use LP as backup.After winter it was apparent we had used way too much LP but spring was arriving so hard to tell if something wrong.Hot weather revealed the system couldn’t keep up and our electric bill was way too high (by almost $100)Called for service and mentioned they owed a filter panel the installers had omitted.First call between 12 noon and 5pm, no show and no callNext morning promised between 8AM and noon, no show and no call.I called, a “senior technician” with a helper arrived at 1:31Inspected the unit from a distance and returned to van.Told me he would order the filter panel and started to leave!I asked about my AC not keeping up problem.He pointed to his pad and said that it wasn’t on his work order!That’s it! He/they left!He pulled out as I was talking to someone at a/ the office somewhere!Terrible, terrible.I spent half my life in the heating business I a seriously cold state. You DON’T leave a customer like that.The. “help” at ARS Rescue Rooter, Columbia TrueType don’t care about professionalism.Stay away for your AC needs! Trust me! I can’t attest to plumbing needs. I can only tell you about my personal experience with them.

Ive been with ARS for several months now and Ive had a lot of work done. Ive been fairly happy with them. Today, however, Im not quite sure what Im actually getting out of this contract. The technician was late arriving, which Im not unhappy about, but the work is a different story. I had my 45/5 McDonalds dual capacitor replaced and an access panel created for easier access to my filter. It was incredibly expensive to replace a 45/5 McDonalds dual capacitor I can get on Amazon for less than $30 and to create a flimsy access panel. But hey, my HVAC works and I have an access panel now. Next time, Ill do the work myself. Ill save a few hundred dollars.

This company completely replaced my home HVAC system. Took out the old and put in a new one. The employee was very professional and courteous. Explained the new thermostat (Nest) to me before leaving. He was even impressed with the new system (Rheem) on how quiet it was when running. Although the customer service is always on point, we have had issues since our unit has been installed. The unit was installed on last May and 2 days after the installment my sons room ceiling started leaking. Whenever the unit was installed the tech dump the water from the old unit pan and ruined our ceiling. ARS sent someone to fix our ceiling. Now almost a little over a year my sons room ceiling is back leaking. Ceiling is ruin and we have buckets all over the place catching water. Its 95 degrees in Orangeburg SC and we have our unit off waiting for a repair guy to come between the hours of 12-5....that sucks. Again customer service is always on point but now we are afraid to trust anything ARS technicians say bc we are back with the same issue. Im tempted to call another company who I know I can trust just to get a second opinion.....sign a concern customer!

Service Tech Ray came out and quickly figured out what was wrong with my unit. He was very professional and efficient. Service Manager Wes took steps to make sure that the part and repair was handled properly and affordable for me. There was a little issue on Saturday, a separate tech had come out to the property, not sure what happened. But my unit wasn’t working when I came home. Ray and Wes really provided excellent customer service, which was much appreciated.

Absolutely horrible. Can not get anyone to call you back. They do not stand behind their promises. They do not come out with in 24 hours. And if they owe you money they WILL not call you back.I purchased a 4 ton a/c unit from ARS Rescue Rooter. Part of the warranty was they will come out day or night with in 24 hours or they will cut me a check for $555. A call was made on Saturday July 10th, 2021 at 9:39am no one came out untill the afternoon of Monday July 12th, 2021. I have called ARS Rescue Rooter 2 to 3 times a week since then and can not get anyone to call me back to discuss the $555 Check. Every time I call I told they have sent an email up and some will be....Update: It did almost take a month to talk to someone about this issue however we did get the check. The people I spoke with was nice and rushed it out.

Bought a unit in 2013. They said a 2 1/2 ton unit would be fine for the upstairs. 2014 the upstairs unit wouldn’t keep up they replaced it with a 3 ton unit. Miscellaneous problems for the next few years. 2019 problems with the downstairs unit. Ended up spending another $1500 on it. In the unit upstairs which was only six years old I was told by the second tech that came out Said it needed replaced. After 7 1/2 years we had over $8000 in both Units. Unfortunately it takes 2 to 4 technicians to figure out The problems. It always seems to be a very expensive fix every time. They do not stand behind their work poor quality. Had it replaced by another HVAC company. They said it was installed incorrectly. They also mentioned to me that it was only a 2 1/2 ton unit upstairs. After checking the paperwork and everything it showed they had put a 3 ton up there but the unit was only at 2 1/2 ton. I highly recommend staying away from this company. When you have a problem they will not call you back.I called the number they supplied me with.Waiting for a response after talking to Robin.As usual with ARS a promised phone call back one way or the other and again as usual no response whatsoever. Again I would like to let everyone know stay away from these people. It’s all about your money not their service.

I was recommended to this company thru Home Depot. They came and said that it would cost $1100 to replace the Unit fan motor. I called another company and they came out and checked and did advise of the same thing as it needed to be replaced, but it was only $162 for the fan motor and $75 to replace. Took only about 15 mins to fix.

We have had our system for two years, brand new AC with an additional zone upstairs from our original system. Since the installation two years ago, we have had to call for repairs three times - each time for the same problem. Suddenly, the system stops pumping any cold air at all. We called this third time yesterday. They told us they could not schedule anyone to come by until today. They scheduled a time between noon and 5 PM. It is over 90° outside. We have five children and four animals. Yet, they called - after 5:00 - to state they are “overwhelmed” and have to postpone until tomorrow.Between the obvious poor quality and poor service and lack of professionalism...I feel a civil suit and serious complaint to the BBB coming on.

When we purchased our home back in April we called several companies. What made us decide to go them is the confidence that came from the sales person. We were told that they had a year satisfaction agreement attached and if for any reason we werent satisfied with our purchase that no questions would be asked they would remove the installation. However, that is not the case we have had way to many service calls to where the roof was leaking from installation to the system not working properly. I am beyond unhappy with my services. I have contacted the corporate office and they only sent the manager after being over so many times. Whatever he did made it run better but guess what we still havent received a call back to see if we are OK. If I had to do it over again I would have went with a different company.

Jay came by to bring us the manual on our new wi-fi thermostat which had been previously installed. We had some questions about the way the thermostat had been working. It was not adjusting to the temperature that was set. So while he was here we asked him about it. He checked the thermostat, corrected problem, answered our questions, explained how this new thermostat worked and showed us how to use the many set up features on it properly.
