I went through my insurance for free roadside assistance and this is the company that showed up. Took only 50 yards for my car to fall off the truck bed and sustain heavy damage! The owner took 0 responsibility and tried lying to the insurance company saying that it never happened. If this company shows up refuse and request another!

My insurance company dispatched them for my flat tire and it took a little longer than I was hoping but Im sure they stay busy so I dont fault them for that at all, they kept me updated and the driver called to let me know when he was about 20 minutes away. The driver was super friendly and tried to do everything he could to help me before towing me to the shop! Best experience Ive had with a tow company!
Logan from Swift Towing handled a roadside assistance problem for me. He communicated when he would arrive and updated me as he got closer. He quickly opened my car and the paperwork was simple and easy. What impressed me next was that he waited to make sure that there were no additional problems…and there was. My security system began having a problem and I had no idea what to do. My trucks starter went out and left me stranded in a parking lot. As is always the case, i had less than two hours until I had to be at work. My insurances roadside assistance dispatched Swift Towing to pick up my vehicle.The initial ETA was 90 minutes, and because of how busy they were that eventually got extended by another 45. I contacted Swifts dispatch and asked if I had to be with the vehicle for them to pick it up. They informed me that I could leave the keys with the vehicle and head to work.Gelette was the driver assigned to my vehicle, and he texted me multiple times to keep assure me that they had not forgotten about me and were getting there as fast as possible. Gelette was nothing but professional over phone and text.When I got home from work the next day, my wife informed me that Gelettes compassion really showed when he arrived at my house to drop off my vehicle. He apologized to my wife for the extensions in delivery time. My Son was very interested in the tow truck, and Gelette took the time to show him how everything worked even though Im sure he had a long day.I would definitely recommend Swift Towing, and if you can, ask for Gelette!
Been waiting since 8 am, it is now 1130 am and they keep saying they are 90 minutes away, this is the 3rd time they have said that... (update) it is now 1230 and they showed up, thanks to O. Fields my car was open within 10 minutes, he had great customer service and was fast about his job

Just got towed by Swft towing as part of my roadside assistance. The driver Frank was great. Professional and knowledgeable, he hooked my car and we were out of the middle of thread, fast! Was originally quoted 90 minutes but they were there in 45. Couldnt be happier with the service!
Waited over 4 hours for them to show up to tow my car half a mile. Original estimate was 2 hours then got extended by two hours after that. They ended up not even showing up so I wasted my whole day.
SWFT was great. The dispatcher stayed on the phone with me to talk with my insurance company so I get my tow paid for by them. The insurance company sent over the wrong PO or something. It saved me a bunch of calling back and forth. Also, the gentlemen that were sent to pick up the van were friendly and timely. They had a guy out with 20 minutes once the insurance was covered the cost.
Great service, I was stuck in deep mud with my 4x4 late in the night and James was quick to respond and honest. Luckily he was able to get me out without too much hassle and was very courteous. He set the expectations based on what he saw and I would highly recommend them. I was referred to them through USAA but will use them in the future. Thanks again James!
Had such a difficult time with our insurance getting our truck towed. Our vehicle was hard to locate and Gelette was so kind and understanding of the issues we were having. Extremely patient and very good customer service.

My car broke down at a red light and Swift was called by Dodge to tow me. The driver Stacy was amazing! He called me quickly and tried to help get me out of the road over the phone. I was able to get to a dealership without a tow but he called to make sure I made it and didn’t need any more help. His response was above and beyond any other tow companies I have used. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!My car broke down and my insurance company set me up with this company to have it towed to a near by auto repair shop. I handed over my keys to the tow driver when he arrived and my car is now missing.They refuse to talk to me or my insurance company. They have given us 3 different addresses as to where my car is located, all of which lead to private homes and not a tow company lot. Both my insurance and my self were given an ETA of 999-1009 minutes before a SWFT tow truck would arrive to take my car to a repair shop. When my insurance agent tried to confirm my car location and ETA she claimed she was hung up on multiple times. SWFT stated that they now will not tow out my car for another two days and are willfully holding it hostage for seemingly no reason. It is incredibly suspicious. The claim has been escalated to a different department so that they can hopefully settle the issue. I am currently waiting for my next follow up about my claim, but may also file a police report for a stolen car.
My insurance company contacted them to have our van towed. We got a text stating they were on the way with an ETA of 30-60 mins. It took them 60 mins to get to us. We contacted the number on the text to get the most rude customer service ever. We were told the guy was in the parking lot and when my husband as if the dispatcher could call him, the dispatcher told my husband the guy was in the parking lot and he wasn’t going to call him.Not only did the dispatcher give the guy the wrong location, they also gave him to wrong directions for what to do with our car.The only thing good from this company was the guy who towed our van was awesome!!!! The customer service from the dispatcher was awful and RUDE!!!!!

My car broke down from vapor lock or bad fuel pump, but swft was awesome! They were on time and treated my car with a high degree of care. Loved how friendly and accomodating they were. I will definitely be using them again if I need it!
Our car broke down on the side of a busy intersection. We then worked with road side assistance to get a towing service through Swft towing. We were told to wait 90-120 minutes for the tow truck to be there. The original ETA was 1:57 pm. After 4 hours of waiting with no truck and passive aggressive responses from the rep we called road side assistance again to get an ETA (none was given). They reached out to SWFT towing multiple times and no one responded. Safe to say I will never be calling SWFT ever again along with advising all friends, families, and coworkers to stay away as well.

Insurance company dispatch. Immediate response of 90 min eta. Half hour later 120 min eta. After 3hr wait 60 min eta. After 5hrs 30 min eta. At 5.5 hrs still waiting....Edit, Update after response from owner.I cancelled service after an over 5.5 hour wait, and four missed ETAs. This process began at 2:00pm with an ETA of 90min. I had the insurance provider cancel ticket and secure an alternate provider at 7:30pm. I spoke to the new provider at 8:00pm and scheduled him to pick up my now unoccupied vehicle at 10:30pm. I was to meet him there as I did not want my vehicle touched without me present. The driveshaft was just barely attached after a carrier bearing failure and I was concerned of additional damage. As I exit my home to head back to my truck the SWFT driver arrived at 10:08pm with my truck on a flatbed. The driver advised me he had driven my truck onto the flatbed and was going to drive it off. I explained that the driveshaft was not secured and the actual reason for a tow request. He advised it was not in his notes. It would not be in his notes as he had no contract to touch my truck. After failure to fulfill multiple appointments this was exactly the lack of professionalism that concerned me, and the reason the appt was cancelled.New provider contacts me at 10:10pm to advise he has arrived and my truck is missing. I was forced to admit to him that SWFT had stolen his appt without my authorization. I promised him that I would make sure his full rate was paid. I also called the insurance providers roadside service to explain the deceit in practice for an official note within the service record of SWFT.
I see why they leave the I out of SWFT, because they are NOT swift. I was assigned them by State Farm Roadside Assistance and they gave a 90 minute estimate. Three and a half hours later, the tow truck arrived. The only updates I was given were when I inquired until they were on their way--they said 20 minutes away. An hour later they showed. The tow truck driver was a nice guy and respectful. The dispatcher was a jerk. State Farm Roadside Assistance people were nice, but not sure why they would use a provider like SWFT.
Excellent employee by the name of James, I actually injured my head on the side of the road and he stopped and kept me talking so I wouldnt pass out. He stayed with me about 30 minutes until help arrived. There truly are good people in this world! Support this company anyway you can.
My roadside assist set me up with this company. First notice I got was that it would be 2 hrs before they arrived. The time before arrival constantly changed. I finally got a 15 min notice, then after 20 mins I got a 30 min notice and then it became 2 hrs again. I waited 7 hrs and never heard from them, they never showed. Finally got a call from my insurance and told them I wanted a different company to tow. The new company was at my house in 45 min.Dont waste your time. They wont show.

He called and kept me on the phone assuring me he was on his way and was committed to finding us. I was very scared as i am not familiar with the area. Nationwide used Swift to tow my car due to a car accident. I will blame Nationwide for not getting them out there last night. Though I had to wait the next day, my tower James was absolutely great.He waited for me to Uber to the location and gave me a ride back home. He was knowledgeable and careful towing my Alfa.

So I recently had my car towed with this company through my insurance. Everything went smooth until the tow began. An incident happened in which the tow truck proceeded to exit the premises of the parking lot the vehicle was in and drove over a speed bump which bounced the vehicle and destroyed my rear window. I attempted to reach out to the company in an effort to have the window fixed. But I was met with various excuses as to why it wasnt their fault despite it happening while my vehicle was on their truck and in motion. I no longer care about having my window fixed because it would be too much of a hassle to take it any further. As long as this review helps someone decided on which towing company to go through its enough.
My truck unfortunately broke down at the gas station. I called my insurance company to get a tow to the mechanic. They said 90 minutes. 90 minutes rolls by and the driver called and said 60 more minutes. Thats annoying, but whatever. Apparently they had a busy day. The next hour rolls by, STILL no tow truck. Call dispatch, they said there was a driver dropping off a car in the area, and my truck was next. ANOTHER hour rolls by, and were finally sent a tracker on the driver. It said he was about ten minutes away. ANOTHER HOUR ROLLS BY AND HES STILL NOT THERE! I called dispatch yet again and spoke to the yard manager/owner. This person was downright rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional. He suggested we leave the keys LOCKED INSIDE THE CAR UNDER THE DRIVERS SEAT! He said they would jimmy the lock to get the keys out, and if there was damage, it wasnt their responsibility. He said either we wait for the driver or we dont. Not his problem. Its not exactly a thrilling time for a car to break down, but it makes the situation so much more worse when the company coming to help you is tacky, unprofessional, and extremely late. Its awful to have to be at the mercy of a company who is paid by the job and chooses to put our needs behind a more profitable job and are told they take the easy jobs first. Ill be calling the insurance company to let them know about what an awful experience this was at an already frustrating time. The tow truck driver, though, was great. Once he got there, he was quick and efficient and we appreciate his help.
Driving down the hwy at night the driver had nothing on his bed just driving down the hwy called the company to see if they can get ahold of the driver and they just hung up on me.... I’d hate to be their customer. It won’t let me reply to the owners comment... he is right which is why I’m complaining about the dispatch/ answering service hey let your driver know he is blinding people behind him but it’s ok we will just worry about traffic control and not how to improve from this I upped him a star because he did reply but terrible customer service doesn’t even try to address the issue...
If I could give SWFT Towing a -100 star review, I definitely would. They are the absolute worst towing company in history. I was set up with them through my insurance company when my car broke down in the middle of a snow storm on an off ramp coming off the highway. Worst place to break down at. Their ETA was automatically set at 1.5 hours and they were only 10 minutes away from my location. Then, when the time passed 1.5 hours for them to come out, I still received no text or call updating me on the new ETA. So I had to call multiple times to get a response and each time, the guy rushed me off the phone like he didnt want to be bothered and gave me no real answers. FIVE HOURS passed by and in that time, they cancelled the work order because they didnt feel like coming out in the snow. And again, with no contact to me or my insurance company. The guy even told me that my insurance company was lying about not knowing it was cancelled, but when I talked to the insurance company, they still had an open work order. This company CLEARLY doesnt care about running an efficient business and theyre not skilled enough to do the basic job that they promised to do. I pray they go out of business soon and shut down forever so no one else has to deal with their abhorrent lack of professionalism and lowest level of customer service and decency.
DO NOT USE! My insurance company dispatched this company for my sons car. The driver said the shop was closed, it was not. The car LITERALLY disappeared for 5 days. We almost filed a police report saying the car was stolen. Now, we get notification that our insurance company is paying them $265. Outrageous amount to tow a car less than 2 miles!
Very rude dropped car after hours at my shop did not leave keys called for 2 days was told by a rude guy to call for a lock out to get keys and would half to pay for lock out. dont make your customers wait 6 hours then get there car to shop after they close at 7:21pm when they were dispatched around 1pm that day
Didnt get my vehicle liked agreed and didnt let me know they werent planning to get it. 3 days later I called to see when they planned to get it and their number was out of service. I called a different towing company and they picked it up the same day.Its Miss.... and I have a screenshot of the text that was sent to track my vehicle that you never picked up. Maybe you should call your business phone as it states its not working..... Even despite that, you never picked up the vehicle as agreed.

My Insurance Company Hooked Us Up With This Company For A Tow . ETA Was 60 - 90 minutes but unfortunately 4 hours later they show up . The driver and Dispatch Were Very Rude And Couldnt Even Find Us In A One Road Main Street Town . No Apologies Or Anything. We were told by dispatch that we could ride but driver said no but now its 2 in the morning and I was so mad I sent him away and would not give them a dime . Got A hotel and called a different tow company the next day. Horrible Company . HOW DARE YOU CALL ME AT HOME AND ARGUE WITH ME ABOUT THIS REVIEW. EVEN IF THE INSURANCE COMPANY GAVE YOU WRONG ADDRESS I SPOKE TO YOU AND DRIVER SEVERAL TIMES AND GAVE YOU ADDRESS. We waited 4 hours for the driver to show up even after being told they were on their way multiple times. The driver himself was super nice and pleasant. The dispatcher was very rude and unprofessional and had a huge attitude on the phone after I explained how long we had waited for. I understand things happen, but we were blatantly deceived. We will not use this company again and I do not recommend them to anyone else.

Roadside assistance through USAA. I was originally told it would be 90 minutes. Nobody showed up. The time was revised to 30 minutes. Nobody showed up. I gave the number USAA gave me a call, and was met by a rude dispatcher who offered me no help. Now the time has been updated, again, to 30 minutes. What a joke. I bet the dispatcher is so rude because his wifes boyfriend doesnt let him watch.
Not sure I would use this company, saw 2 of their vehicles driving recklessly, speeding, not using turn signals and tailgating, while it was raining. Not great for advertising.

My insurance company ordered these clowns. I got a 2 hour appointment/ETA. I called them at the 1.75 hour mark, and i was told 30 more minutes. When I asked about why it was taking longer. Richard on the phone says in smart a$$ tone thats why its an ETA. over 3 1/2 hours later they finally showed up. I would suggest NEVER USE THIS COMPANY under any circumstances.
I was giving this company through USAA roadside assistance. I was given a 90 min ETA and then a 60 Min ETA and then a 0 min ETA and then a 30 Min ETA. 5 hours later they have still not shown up. USAA ended up calling a different company to complete the tow. 😡
We got this company through our insurance and the ETA was 90 minutes and then changed to 30 more minutes and so on and so on. We called and it kept getting sent to Voicemail. Called insurance and they tried reaching them and they wouldn’t answer them either. WOULDNT RECCOMEND.
Our Roadside assistance set us up with Swft when my 19 yr old daughter’s car died on the way home from work, while driving on the highway late last night. The first driver called us 2 hours after we requested assistance, to say he couldn’t find our vehicle on the highway, then reported the job as completed, without even calling us back. The contact phone numbers went unanswered. Finally gave up at 3am, and roadside assistance helped us request a second tow this morning. The tow company office staff was condescending when I told them about the first driver The second driver was much better. (Thank you Marc.) When we went to meet him, we discovered that our vehicle had been moved/ dragged from its original location. We found it where the first driver told us he was located when he reported not being able to find the vehicle. We ended up getting our vehicle back home, but I am very dissatisfied with this towing service, and would never recommend them.

You need to be very careful when choosing a towing service. If you’re reading this you need to know that this is the worst and most dangerous towing company I’ve ever experienced. This towing company dropped my motorcycle during a tow and tried to deny the fact that they caused over $1,800 of damages to my motorcycle. When I spoke to the manager/supervisor of the company he called me every word in the book. Yes I’m not joking he literally called me every name in the book and said he’s not going to pay for the damages. I dont know why he was so upset. Imagine being me? I am the victim here. All I needed was for my motorcycle to be towed, however, my day ended with you dropping my motorcycle? Also on top of that I get to experience the anger hatred from your company? Luckily, today I received my damage claim check and shift towing was held accountable for their actions. I can’t explain in words how horrible it felt to see my baby, my motorcycle, damaged and to have a manager at the towing company treat me so badly. I was NOT surprised to see they already have a 3.4 star review. I’m not the only one that has seen such a display of horrible customer service and professionalism. If you need a tow service find a company that is passionate about their service. There’s no need to go through what I went through. I will also be filing with the better business bureau Cheers
I wish I remembered our tow truck drivers name but he was great. They got there in an hour! We are from Texas and was just at the beginning of our trip when my transmission blew. Not a statement I thought I’d ever use, but if I needed a tow again I would use these guys for sure
My experience from the beginning was terrible. I was supposed to wait 90-100 mins. I ended up waiting over 3 hours. By the time they go to the body shop it was closed. So without informing me the put my car in storage. It is the next day and per my insurance company the release was sent at 0900 this am and it is 2:50pm and my vehicle is still there. They told be it would be another 90-100 mins. I informed them that the body shop closes at 5:30pm today and I would appreciate it was there. Ed hung up on me. Ed was very unprofessional and rude. He wouldnt even tell me that my car was their at first. He is the most unprofessional person I have came across in a long time. If I could give them 0 stars I would. ED SHOULD BE FIRED!!!!!
A giant mess. Vehicle failed in monument. Asked to have the vehicle towed to my house, it was a distance. They Insisted to tow it to a mechanic in Colorado Springs. To top it off the shop was closed until Monday. I told them to leave it there, do not tow. Returned to my where I left my vehicle, it was gone. Swft towed it to Colorado Springs. Waited 4 hours in the freezing cold when they said 45 minutes. Dispatcher did not pick up when my insurance called, and was extremely rude when I called. He made it seem like I was a bother to him. My poor dog was hungry and tired, but I couldnt get him home. 0 stars if it was possible.
I was given an estimated arrival time of 1:30pm for a tow. I called Swift about 1:50pm to get a new estimated arrival time and update. The person on the phone said he couldn’t give me that because the driver just picks whatever job he wants to on the list, not based on who called in first.I then called my insurance company to let them know about this conversation and how strange it is that I could be sitting on the side of the road in my truck waiting all day hoping the tow driver picks my name next off of his list instead of the order of the calls received for service. A short while later I was given a new tow company to provide the service to me. I found out that Swift dropped my job completely because I called and my insurance company called to get an update from them on their estimated arrival time.After seeing the reviews on this company it is obvious the owner or manager likes to try to belittle or argue about any review that isn’t a 5-star rating. Just remember this Swift...if it were you in our position, there is no way you would find this lack of customer service acceptable. It is okay for a client to call and ask for information.

This towing company was called by my sons insurance when he had an accident . They 1st didnt take his truck where he requested they took it to their tow yard tru k was towed about 10 miles and was at their yard for about 4 or 5 days they charged the insurance company $1200. Then when my son went to get personal belongings from his truck. The owner said he released to a salvage yard but couldnt tell him where. I called and the owner told me he could do whatever he wanted without our permission and hung up on me. I would never recommend using this company ever very unprofessional.

After calling Swift towing for over 4 hours yesterday, we went to the business to see about our vehicle that was supposed to have been transported to the repair shop the day prior only to find THEIR DOORS UNLOCKED, NO ONE ONSITE AND EVERYONE’s keys just laying out in the open on the table for anyone to access!We called CSPD to lock up the business. Horrible experience. My roadside assistance assigned this tow company for my call. 5 hours later, still no show. When I or my ins company would call for an update he was rude, unprofessional and just said theyre busy. Called Action Tow and they were there within 30 min. UPDATE: highway 24 and Marksheffel was exactly the location. Thats not the wrong address. And for him to say the driver was coming to me next, he never came after another 2 hours of waiting. Thats why the insurance finally called wonderful Action Towing. All your 1 start reviews speak for themselves that this is the norm for your company. You clearly have your customers confused which doesnt surprise me considering how unorganized this business is. 1, he never called me back. When I called he did say the driver would come to me next and never did. Thats why 2 hours later the insurance assigned another company. 2, my location never changed. I was IMOBILE which is why I needed a TOW! Not one time did I or my insurance say Murray. I was at highway 24 and Marksheffel. How in the world do you stay in business?!?!The VECHILE was IMOBILE! Which means my location of the vehicle needing tow didnt change locations! Why are you arguing with me? I know my old vehicle isnt important to you since its common as you said people with Ferraris have no problem leaving their keys in it. My vehicle is important to me and I dont want to have to file a claim on it if anything happened (even though you said thats why I have insurance). You guys didnt help me! Action Towing did!
Did not show up, and never gave me an update on time or anything. Had to call my insurance company to get another tow company to show up because I was waiting for 3 hours before I decided that was enough
This company was called by our insurance company State Farm. The company gave us an ETA and did not arrive, nor did they call us to inform us at all a when the driver would arrive. I would not recommend this company at all. When I called them they cancelled the order. Terrible service very unprofessional. Also tried to charge the insurance company for a completed pickup. This company is not trustworthy or professional.
The driver jeffery was very helpful and found out exactly what was wrong with it and how easy it was to fix it 10/10 would recommend to anyone.

Dispatcher was rude didnt give me any information on arrival time. The txt that I got from my insurance said 90 minutes 4 hours later I canceled. got picked up in 25 minutes by AA towing company
The dispatcher was incredibly rude and refused to tell me when I needed to meet the driver to pickup my vehicle. He then denied my tow because he refused to give me this information.

Not swift! Took 5 days to deliver a car to a shop that was open and less then 2 miles away! Then way over charged my insurance company. Tow company says delivered in an hour but car was missing for days then magically showed up after threats of police.
They never showed up and everytime I called to check on the eta that was given they were rude and not at all professional.

May be it depends on who is on shift. I needed a tow when stuck on the side of the road and they came quickly and the guy was super friendly. Then I called back the next morning to have it towed to a repair shop and the guy was short and rude with me and then just hung up on me.

Dont ever use them! Damage may occur during transport. When you call to ask the owner about it all hell do is call you a liar and hang up on you without bothering to hear you out. They are crooks!!!!

Very very poor service, called for road side assistance through my insurance company. Multiple employees lied continuously for 4 hours stating they were on their way and we were next on the list of pick ups. Driver finally showed up 5 hours later for towing. Will never recommend using this company to anybody.

Horrible service. I waited for over 4 hours for a tow truck to arrive and they never answered the phone or gave me an accurate time of arrival. 10/10 would never recommend to a single person ever. Thanks for being horrible. Then called state farm who talked to swft and swft said they already got my car. Im still staring at my car waiting to be towed.
