Half star or worse no star.... Suppose to be our apartment tow company but apperently they dont care... I Called about someone in handicap parking and was trying to talk to my fiance and the lady on the phone started telling me how to talk to my wife and not yell at the lady on the phone but wasnt even yelling she was on speaker and didnt care that people where parked in handicap with no handicap sign or plates. wont call them again will find someone else that will tow.... And will be talkimg to property manager and hopefully klaus towing will lose the three propertie

Well they towed my vehicle from in front of my apartment apartment because the Tags were past due so I can understand that but what I can understand is when I finally got my vehicle back is vehicle back 1 of 2 subwoofers brand new in the Box not mounted yet were missing. Of course I called them only to be dismissed into the driver would never knew something like that.

We were having our apartment parking lot resealed this week and had to move our cars to areas set up for it. In our HOA email they said to park our cars between the cones in a parking lot across the street which I did. However, I come out to a towing notice on my car with a sticker that ruined my window tint. I followed the exact email details and they are still trying to steal cars. Something needs to be done about these crooks

Car was damaged when towed and a claim was filed when the car was picked up from Klaus, BEFORE LEAVING their parking lot. Two weeks later we hadn’t heard anything about the claim. The person that was supposedly working on it no longer worked there. Got the run around for days after and finally received an email late on a Friday night (after having called many times)stating they are not liable for the damages. Their driver has photos and they do not match the photos taken before we left the parking lot of Klaus on the day of pick up. Waited on the phone on hold for 41 minutes after reviewing the email Saturday morning only to find that no one can help us on the weekend! Klaus is VERY unprofessional and horrible to do business with!

Just an absolute scam. No idea how this place is still in business. I was charged $320 when my car was towed less than 4 miles and was on the lot less than 24 hours. Not to mention multiple scratches on my vehicle. You should be ashamed to run such a disgrace of a business.

Towed my tenants car for no reason, no notice given per the HOA rules, they showed a picture of a tire touching (but not over) a poorly painted parking line. $276 and half a day wasted for nothing, what a bunch of crooks!

Rented a Home depot truck and trailer, and they towed it because it took up more than one space. How stupid. One night its fine but the next night its towed. Im extremely upset that they come in the middle of the night while youre sleeping and essentially steal your vehicle.

Left a note on my car saying my vehicle will be towed if not moved in 24 hours at 2:37 am. I didnt get to see this note till after I got my vehicle out, but I went down at 9:30 am to see my car missing. Wasnt even there for half the time and they pulled it away. Lady at the front desk is super sweet though. Just the people who do the actual towing are bad.

Called to see how expensive it was going to be and they gave me a quote. Magically increased when I showed up to pick up my vehicle. I’m not upset it got towed, I accidentally parked in a bad spot and that’s my fault. Changing the price is obnoxious.

Incredibly rude people. Caught them on camera scraping the front end of my vehicle, made a claim, and still have yet to get back to me. Confronted them and was told “the driver is on vacation, I’ll contact you when he gets back,” after an entire month has gone by. Have nasty attitudes and think their entitled.

My apartment complex has horrible parking issues and residents are forced to invent spaces to park their vehicles.I understand that it may be considered illegal parking, but if a notice is going to be placed on a vehicle, it would be more professional by Klaus to place a notice along the windshield under the wiper, perhaps the door handle, or any other way to where the adhesive is not exposed. Klaus has placed stickers in the center of my drivers side window everytime they ding my car. The adhesive on the sticker has very heavy tack and does not peel off cleanly. The residue obstructs my view and takes days and many washes to clean off. I dont have time or money to spend at car washes to clean one window.I can deal with being warned that my car isnt where they want it to be. I dont like coming home from work at 0230 in the morning inventing parking spaces, either. But, if youre going to be a third party enforcer, be decent enough to at least keep it off my glass.

They left a sticker in the hot sun on my vehicle and did damage to it. And when I called the old winch on the phone she then repeatedly acted as if she didnt care when I asked them to please put the sticker on my windshield wiper. Absolutely unprofessional and a disgusting human being to speak too.

First they towed my car at 3:00 am claiming they couldn’t see my sticker due to my toy bear blocking it. Second none of these employees wore masks. None of them. I just want to thank my landlord for helping get my car back

They are predatory towing company that has an in with apartment complexes to tow people vehicles when they are just trying to have a nice dinner with friends. They take advantage of the law and use it to legally extort people and and steal peoples cars. Im sure they make their own lives as miserable as the people they are attacking.

Klaus Towing literally takes your vehicles with zero notice as to where it was taken. Very rude personnel. Extremely high price to pay to retrieve your vehicle. Zero stars is what I give it.

I visited an apartment complex that had visitor parking spaces. I arrived at 9:15pm. I woke up the next morning and my car was gone. It had either been towed away or stolen sometime between 9:30pm and 5:45am. Upon realizing this fact, I called Klaus Towing at 6:36am. I was first in the queue the entire duration of hold time, but the call wasnt answered for 49 minutes. It turned out that my car had indeed been towed. When I asked the agent why I was on hold for 49 minutes, I was completely ignored. Upon a second inqiry, he told me, That is not important and hung up the phone. I called a second time from a different number, and the phone was inexplicably picked up immediately. I asked why my car had been towed and he answered that it did not have a vistor permit. (I didnt know that this was needed, but that is a separate issue). Again, I asked why I had been put on hold for 49 minutes but was spoken to immediately upon my second call was that this time but not the previous time he had the phone. We reminded him that as a 24-hour business his company owed us an explanation for the long hold time. He again reitereated that the inquiry was not important, and subsequently ignored our question again before hanging up on us a second time. Somehow, my car was towed even though multiple cars were in the lot and multiple empty spaces were available. Furthermore, other cars were in the lot. It would be impossible to know if the other cars had parking passes because they had frost and snow on their front windshields. My car was picked out purely because it didnt have frost. This experience was similar to the Passover from the Bible. Todays customer experience was the worst I have experienced in my entire lifetime.

That women that answers the phone that calls herself the manager is very rude and her customer service qualities are to be questioned. On a scale her customer service skills are way under par like trump she should not be allowed to have contact with the public . If she was under my employment she would be terminated I wonder how she got the job.

Watch these people. They illegally towed my car from my apartment complex with out checking with the property manager. Just moved back from another state and it takes time to register my car. Luckily the appartment manager set them straight and i got my car back with no cost. NEXT TIME YOUR DRIVER TOWS MY CAR ILLEGALLY WITHOUT CHECKING WITH THE PROPERTY MANAGEMENT. This isnt my first encounter with this establishment. I was parked outside in my designated spot with my parking pass visible on my dash. I went out the next morning to get my truck and it was gone. Not only would Klaus not return my vehicle, but upon arrival the receptionist told me that the manager was insinuating that I jumped the fence to put the sticker on my dash. The nerve of this place is ridiculous.

Failed to locate towed vehicle in their inventory, causing bill to be almost $1K due to searching all the other tow companies in town and eventually having to file a stolen vehicle report to locate vehicle in their yard. They did not budge on the bill nor did they allow me to jump the vehicle as the battery was dead by that point. Charging a $65 jump fee in the process just to move the vehicle. Other impounds are much more helpful than these corporate thieves.

Got yelled at for being misinformed about pick up times. I called and was polite, it w as not my fault I was misinformed. If the person was polite and just told me thst pickup was actually at this time I would have been in a better mood when I arrived there later that night at the correct time.

I am absolutely appalled by the towing relationship Klaus Towing has with West Edge apartments. They stock the lots, prying on college students who are already struggling enough to pay for both rent and school, and don’t bat an eye for towing.Last night when I went to visit a friend, several of us carpooled to try and avoid having multiple vehicles on site to get towed. When we arrived at West Edge, low and behold there were no visitor parking spots available in the four that are offered in the parking lot (in what logic does it make sense to offer four visitor spots for 400+ residents?) anyways. We did our best to park near the entrance where we could enter through the front office. The next step was to get a visitor pass. Turns out no one is at the desk to get a pass. The apartment complex is at less than 25% capacity with everyone moving home due to a PANDEMIC along with our nation being in such a state of divide. They continue to tow for no reason other than that they have no better way to make an honest living.As a Colorado Springs native, it is shameful to have such a vile and greedy company in this community. You should be in prison for how you continue to rob individuals on first time offenses.

Vehicle was towed from private parking space along with neighbors. Recent. Purchases being repaired. No tags no warnings prior to towing our vehicles from our private parking spaces. Cost more to get car back than we paid for it, didnt want to allow us to retrieve personal belongings out of the car, had to argue about. My full replacement propane tank for the RV I live in was being stored in the car, to keep anyone from stealing. Had to beg to get it back.

Awesome farm! I thought they would have only a few hrs of entertainment but no, its a whole day! Everyone is super friendly, they make you feel comfortable and the class for alligator wrestling is the best! They give you more than your moneys worth for everything they do! Its a must see for everyone from Colorado or visiting!

They towed my car around 5AM from outside my house without telling a reason of why they took it. I went to pick up my car at 8:30 AM at the time they were suppose to open and they were still closed. They made me wait outside for a while even when I called them on the phone telling them I was outside. Finally when they opened the door for me and when I asked for my car they charged me more than $300. Also the front desk ladies had a bad attitude against me, their unrespectful. They wanted to give me a car that wasnt even mine. I give them ONE star only because I dont have the choice to pick 0.

I told her I would have to drive by her house to get the address. She said fine and then failed to properly hang the phone up. She then proceeded to run her mouth, with an attitude about my call. How dare I expect her to dispatch a tow truck without knowing the exact address! You lost a sale!!! My next call was cheaper and polite and actually ACCOMODATING! Just bought a new vehicle and hadn’t had a chance to get it registered due to the new Covid hours at the dmv. Brought it home and parked it on free parking lot spaces at my apartment. Made an appointment with the dmv that next morning. Woke up to my car missing. Worried it had been stolen I called the non emergency department in hopes to receive help. They informed me that my apartment building manager has had many peoples vehicles towed from the area without giving notice and without good cause.I spoke with my manager minutes later and was informed that my car was indeed towed and that because the vehicle didn’t have plates they needn’t inform me before taking the vehicle.I had to pay a fee of 300$ to retrieve it from lot. I was also told that if I picked it up later than 24 hrs after the car was impounded they would add on another $150. They also told me if I got it on the weekend Saturday/ Sunday I would have to pay an additional $160.They took my car on Friday.Thankfully I was able to get the money and an Uber to retrieve my vehicle.When I got there their front office was locked. I spent 10 min waiting outside knocking on the door trying to find another way in before a lady finally opened the door.When I got inside I was told I needed all my vehicle information to retrieve the vehicle.My information and wallet had been inside the vehicle when it was taken so I told them I could give them the info if they let me into the vehicle to retrieve it. It took me at least 30 minutes of convincing for them to even let me do that much.When I got into the car I noticed $150 that I had left in the glasses compartment was missing. They claimed to know nothing of the money and assured me no one would have taken it.They were very rude about the entire situation and I am beyond frustrated with them. It took me over an hour at the towing company to get my car back. I HIGHLY SUGGEST YOU AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST!

KLAUS TOWING is surprisingly NICE AND considerate for Whispering Hills apartments lack of insight on new parking stickers and regulations. $500 later to get me own vehicle back, from my own parking lot, in the middle of a pandemic, and at already Klaus Towing treated us like humans, explaining the whole process. $300 for friends car a half hour past curfew...(Reference Picture of new parking passes from the apartment attached. As you can see, these dont stand the test of time during covid-19 and colorado temperatures, but woot for having to miss work and get written over these parking pass.)

This place is a total scam. If your vehicle has a dead battery and is in their lot, they’ll charge you $65 to jump it off! Won’t let you in to tow it, to jump it off yourself, or to even push it out. So you’re forced to pay these jokes $65 extra just to retrieve your car lol.The chubby female at the front desk was extremely rude.

I’m so thankful for Jacob ! Most people have issues with towing places but one day you’ll need them. My apartments have ASSIGNED parking and someone was parked in mine for two days I was so grateful for Jacob who came out immediately and towed the car for me. It’s the little things (: thank you! Anytime theyve come out they always are courteous and professional. Im disabled and ppl constantly park in my spot. I always wait awhile to see if the owner comes out before I call Klaus. Unfortunately, its not always easy to be accommodating to ppl that cant read a simple sign. Anyways, tonight Jacob from Klaus came and was very professional took the vehicle quick. He had the form for me to sign ready. Very simple, gave him the proper paperwork and didnt even question me. Thank you Klaus for always being prompt and professional. They towed my car from outside my friends house, then made me pay over 300 dollars to get it back from them. I tried to get it back overnight, and they made me wait til 830 in the morning to get it. Then was extremely rude on the phone. I dont understand why theyre allowed to do towing at all. They are scam artists. Please dont use them if you are a property owner.

If you see a sticker on your car from these people, know that they are thieves! Your complex may have hired them to tour the parking lot and tow away cars that arent being used. But the cars that they tow are ones that they find value in. They dont tow the junkers. They dont tow the cars that theyre not going to get any money off of. They only tow the cars that they think have value. And they do it the very next day. So if this is the company that your apartment complex uses, I would complain to your complex now. Ever since our complex has been using this company, cars are broken into randomly. I find all of this together a little too suspicious.

Friendly staff, but chose to take a Phil long vehicle from my apartment complex fully plate framed, window sticker, stock number, detail supplies and brand-new rags in seat. As they know, dealer plates are regularly stolen so they cannot be left inside or outside vehicles . Knowing this the entire truck was clearly plated badges with the proper information. End of month and year

Took my car off the street in the middle of the night for no good reason. Public street... Rude dude tried to argue with me that it was not a public street but it was in front of a city park with no restrictive signs in sight anywhere. They took advantage of my complex paving and towed many people, many of us senior citizens just trying to make it through COVID and a bad week. Then the rudeness once I was in their office was off the charts. Sybil yelled How did you get in here!! Awesome

These people towed my car that I just purchased because it didnt have tags. They are a legal scam. They charged me 280 dollars just to get my vehicle. If I would of waited one extra hour they would have charged me an extra 150. They are theifs.

Great experience with this company! Called them around 6:07pm and they were actually on site at 6:35 pm. Jacob showed up, i showed him paperwork and ID and he got the vehicle towed within 8 mins of it all. Super friendly and very respectful. By far one of the best experience towers Ive ever met.

Lady at the front desk I belive her name is Stephanie is rude and disrespectful and when asked for her name her and the rest of the staff refused to give it. Also the car was towed for no permit and my permit was on the mirror Like it was supposed to be but the diver didnt even bother to get out of the truck and check properly. This place legit stole my car and then made me pay to get it out.

Staff is very unprofessional. Pay them their money with no hassle and they treat you badly. Refuse to give names to report their behavior to supervisors. Older lady with short hair claimed she didn’t care if they damaged our vehicle. Lady with black and grey hair stated that it was her everyday personality to treat customers poorly. Had to pull out phone and record her aggressive behavior. It’s obvious that owner of this company doesn’t care how his staff handles situations yet states on his paperwork that his staff will not discriminate nor will they treat you poorly. Ironic how an owner doesn’t uphold his document standards. Nor does he bother responding to poor reviews or try to right the wrongs of his staff. Word of mouth travels quickly. I highly encourage those who aren’t towed by private owners to steer away from using this company. You don’t want to trust a company with your vehicle that can honestly care less.

They towed my car even though my online registration was in the back window where it should be. Naturally the windows had frosted over and they couldnt be bothered to check those. I guess its ok to tow my car but not to scrape the windows to verify things.

Great customer service experience from all staff Ive interacted with, on the phone or on the road.

Wasnt even my vehicle towed. They have to give notice and did not. I work for the company that hired them. I’m going to do everything in mg power to make sure they loose this contract and more importantly get banned from base. I’ve had bad experiences with them as a soldier. Now I’m dealing with them on my own time as well. I hate this company.

I had a temporary parking pass that expired. I was unaware it expired but instead of giving me a 24 hour notice to fix it or move it, they decided to just tow it at my $238 expense. Try and talk to them and they are very rude for how much of my money they stole. No sorry we should of issued a notice, just pay me

This is the sleaziest towing company in the Springs, I’m fairly certain they don’t do anything besides predator towing. They do whatever they can to tow cars just to take people’s money/vehicles and that’s it. I will never understand why any businesses/complexes would partner with this sad excuse for a company.

Would rate 0 if possible, terrible people, honestly towed a car that we pay monthly to be able to park and with our baby seat in it at that! Would never recommend even if they were the last company left!

They towed a friends car at a complex that has her listed at apartment and Her Mom told the driver why and he said nothing and she told him what is it going to cost to not take it in he said $70.00 well guess what she said Give me a minute or 2 will get cash and DL and He just took off. There hours is a lie they say they close at 5pm wrong they had there door closed at 4:50pm. Such a mess and its sad had to pay over $324.00 to get car out on Sunday evening. Attempted to tow my recently purchased van from my brothers apt complex while my husband and I were physically inside the vehicle. Said it was due to no plates, however I just purchased this vehicle from a private owner and due to covid havent been able to get plates.
