The maintenance crew is amazing here, my issues have always been fixed, done well, and done very quickly. I have confidence that when I submit a work order the issue will be resolved. They even fix the tiny little requests I have without question. This is the best part of these apartments.

I’ve lived here for over 2 years and this place is by far the best value in the North Springs area. It has very classy apartments and grounds. The maintenance team is incredibly responsive. They have fixed my water heater in the middle of the night and they have always fixed any other issues within a day. The other residents are quiet and responsible. It is also located near a family neighborhood and coffee shops and walking trails.

Amazing place to live! Nothing better than a community who cares about you. Great customer service and great prices! One of the nicest places I’ve ever lived in.

I recently moved into a Broadmoor floor plan from out of state and couldnt visit the property prior ..... Let me tell you - I am BLOWN AWAY.Kaylee is nothing short of amazing. She is so helpful and understanding. She has answered 500 emails and questions Ive thrown her way during this entire process.I think you really get what you pay for here. The apartment was super clean, with new flooring/carpets/fresh paint, etc. Everyone is super friendly. The mail system is genius. Like I am so in love with my new home its ridiculous! You will not regret moving to this property.

Jason the maintenance guy did an outstanding job fixing our hot water system. He was polite, followed through and competent! Thanks Jason!

We had an issue with hot water one evening. I put in a maintenance request (not an emergency) yet the following morning Jason called me to get in touch about the problem. He soon arrived and worked for a couple of hours steady to fix the issue. He was friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. I was impressed at that time and he exceeded my expectations by an unplanned visit to my apartment the very next morning to re-inspect his work to insure there were no leaks or issues. I couldnt ask for more from a maintenance staff.

After a water incident we moved to a larger style 2 bedroom from the smaller unit. Both have been great! They have a good layout, excellent features, and the new one is absolutely STUNNING! We needed more room and this is perfect. Even the balcony is bigger. We wanted the first floor for physical limitations, however the second floor is totally worth the move. We couldnt be happier.

The staff is always so helpful and friendly. The response to my maintenance request was prompt and I am so appreciative! Jason was so helpful, and I really enjoy living here because the team really seems to care about the residents.

Maintenance at Talon Hill has been amazing. Everyone Ive worked with has been kind, thorough and diligent. I placed a basic maintenance request to have a cabinet put back on the hinge and someone came out that same afternoon and fixed it for me. Im very pleased with what Ive seen so far and very happy to be a part of this community!

Talon Hill has been a remarkable journey for us. We love the floor plan of our 3 bedroom home. Its spacious without being audacious. Maintenance has been unbelievably quick when weve needed them. Jason is amazing and super respectful of our home. Office staff have been professional and friendly always. They treat us like we are family!

Staff was amazing! Had no problems getting maintenance guys to come and fix any problems. Complex always kept up with letting everyone know what was going on. Would recommend to anyone!

I am very happy to say that, the Talon Hill to be my favorite apartment home since I moved in over a 6 month ago. Most important is a nice ventilation in apartments compare to other communities and also Everyone at the office is polite, professional, and communicative. The apartments are well maintained and I have had very few minor problems which have always been addressed quickly. I would highly recommended Talon Hill for courteous and friendly people who want a relaxing environment.

Requested to have the washer looked at on a Saturday. Was contacted early Monday to request access. Repair was made that day. Very pleased with the service.

We pay for all these amenities but dont get to use any of them. It has now been over 7 months and still no reduction in rent. Our dishwasher broke and it took them over 2 weeks to fix it. Our window leaked very badly during every heavy summer rain storm and it took them over a month to fix it.

Jason did a great job at taking care of our maintenance request. He was prompt, professional and took care of it. Thank you Talon Hill team!

We are new to the city and we were lucky to have found such a great find. Talon Hill is a nice complex and is a friendly place. Apartment units are nice and well maintained. They are well kept and clean. So far, in my experience the management have been very attentive and helpful. I have heard this is a new management team and they are taking care of things a lot better than the last group. So that’s always a positive. So far, so good for my husband and me.

The office of Talon Hill Apartments is decorated in a beautiful Italian style, with coffered ceilings, with painted furniture, and a luxurious Italian fireplace!But inside the apartment everything is rather modest, old furniture in the kitchen, an uncomfortable faucet in the kitchen, but this is for those who cook on their own. A very low countertop in the bathroom, although I am not tall, it was only 30 inches high. There are pluses too, it is an excellent service and a huge parking lot. P. S. However, for the same money you can find newer apartments, with new appliances and a larger area. But, they continue to raise rental prices without investing in apartment upgrades.

Less than 24 hours after submitting my request my maintenance my problems were taken care of. Thank You to the maintenance department for a job well done !!

Living here is great for the most part! We’ve had nothing but a good experience with Talon Hill’s staff and maintenance. They paid attention to our maintenance request within a timely manner and the issue was fixed shortly after. The only issue is a few neighbors are pretty inconsiderate when it comes to noise, but that’s just how it goes when it comes to apartment complexes I guess.

We just moved out of Talon Hill with my husband after living an entire year there; overall we are very happy with our experience at this apartment complex, we NEVER had a problem that they didnt try to help us with, the guys working on the maintenance are always on time, Parking is not excellent but not bad at all (you will always have a parking spot, though its not always guaranteed right by your apartment) and the condition of our unit was really good! neighbors were nice, so we would definitely come back!

Overall it was ok. Someone is always in the office so thats nice but if you have any complaints, such as noisy neighbors. Dont expect them to so anything about it. Its overpriced whereas you can find newer more upgraded ones for the price. And you had best be ready to replace the horrible carpet that isnt even installed by an actual company. Just some guy in his truck. Would not go back.

This is the best apartment complex Ive lived in. The interior is pleasing to look at with crown moldings, a huge kitchen island, walk-closet, and a lovely balcony. The clubhouse is impressive with lots of amenities including coffee and a big swimming pool and the staff is always pleasant and active in addressing any concerns that you may have. Its also nice and quiet which is something that is very important to me (I do NOT like noise). They are also very welcoming/accommodating to pet owners. SO some of these other comments dont make sense. They do however expect you to clean up after your animal and mind their barking. Which is not an unreasonable expectation. If you are a quiet, considerate, person youll love it here. If you are not then best look elsewhere. Bad behavior is not tolerated.

I’ve been a resident here for 2 years and I WOULD NOT recommend anyone renting here! The new “management” team is beyond unprofessional, from their attire to their demeanor. They should work at a bar. Maybe?! Feel like I’m renting at a $300/month complex. Mind you my rent is over $2,000 month. I’m very excited to be moving out next week. The previous group of ladies was AMAZING. They communicated properly, addressed issues immediately, were extremely professional and went out of their way to make you feel valued. I had a package at the main office, that mind you I wasn’t expecting, for 12 days before they bothered letting me know. The explanation: we had another 30. Pretty sure this is a common thing at apartment complexes. Previous management team had no problem notifying a resident in a timely fashion. Obviously there’s an issue here when you switch companies and things gets worst. Please look elsewhere. The apartments themselves are not even worth the rent. Many other great options. Two of them down the road.

I moved in on 10/4/18. My experience as a resident has been good thus far. The staff has been attentive to my concerns that I have brought to their attention and have addressed promptly. For that, I am thankful...

Ive have found that the complex here at Talon Hill is well taken care of and the staff has been very helpful. We moved from NY to CO and we were kept up to date on the apartment and availability. When needing maintenance the staff responded promptly.

Every time I try and contact the office no one answers the phones. On the off occasion they do the staff is normally not friendly and at times rude as if calling them is a bother. (Jessica is the exception) The manager could work on caring more about complex issues rather than a not so friendly vibe attached to the call. There is literally ALWAYS issues with the Hot tub which is a problem because we are paying for that amenity ... Last time I went down I had invited a guest over (who didnt live close) and the hot tub was sitting at 50 and other times it is kept at such a low temperature. Talon Hills corporate please come take a look or find a permanent solution to this on going issue as the reviews before me have also stated this. I would like to give more stars but judging from older posts these issues are still occurring and have yet to be fixed... Other than that its in a nice area and normally very quiet. Also who is responsible for clearing the apartment complex streets? The last storm left very icy and dangerous condition because it was not plowed /cleared? Not sure if that is the responsibility of Talon Hills or not. Tried to call about it but again no one answered.

Talon Hill is a great place for the mature and morally considerate. If you plan on blasting your music in the garage or apartment or allowing your dog to bark all day and night or you are simply a inconsiderate person, this place is really not for you! Save yourself time & money and choose another place. This is a respectful community consisting of a respectful staff and self respectful tenants. Ive read some of the negative reviews and they are written by the very people that have zero consideration for their fellow tenants.

These apartments are beautiful but the people that work at the front desk have an attitude problem. My husband just tried calling up there from Afghanistan asking about some apartments and she kept cutting him off and getting rude and just being short with him. My husband did not deserve that and it took everything in him to just hang up the phone and he the bigger person. Probably try getting new workers or you’ll keep losing customers.

I love living here and the staff is AMAZING. Theyve been responsive to any repairs Ive needed and have always been professional. Each and everyone of them have gone above and beyond what I would expect...thanks to all of you! This place is quiet and clean and is a pleasure to live here.

My husband and I only planned to stay here a year while we looked for a house, and loved it so much we decided to stay longer! The grounds are very well kept, maintenance is quick and courteous and the office staff is some of the best I have encountered. They put on cool events and game nights for the tenants and know pretty much everyone by name.Although there are a good number of children living here they all seem to be well behaved and have manners- i.e. They move out of the way of cars when playing, dont rough house in the pool or public areas, etc... also, most (if not all??) units have a private patio which is great in the summer. Like a few other people said, this is a more well behaved community and not a place for people that like the have loud parties or be inconsiderate of their neighbors.

The new Talon Hills management team has been in place for a year. As a resident with 5 years of Talon Hills tenure I believe I am qualified to give an assessment of the new teams performance. I will say upfront that I liked the old team and like many of the long term residents were a little aprehensive how my Talon Hills would be affected. I am happy to say that I am pleasantly surprised how well the new team is performing particularly considering that there was no overlap between the original team and our present management group. Most of my interface has been with the superb assistant manager- KAYLEE . She is personable, easy to approach and responsive. She is also firm but fair. For example I had a pet mishap that we worked through in a very cooperative manner. The property manger - JULIE is definatly on top of her game. this is not her first rodeo. She strikes me as a leader that truly cares about every aspect of the property, residents and the owners investment. She realizes that one of the selling points Talon Hills has over the newer competitors are the spacious grounds, location and charm. I have never seen this place look this good and we have some excellent new residents. Both JULIE and KAYLEE are constantly looking for ways to enhance our Talon Hills experience. Personally I had no Idea how a completely new maintenance team was going to replace years of experience from the old team. To my delight JASON and Roger are doing great. During our big snow storm my heat went off line at 8 pm. There was no way any one could make it to the apartments. ROGER never the less tried and ended up in a ditch. Fortunatly Roger spent an hour on the phone from his stuck car walking me trough the restart procedure. I could recite many anecdotes involving the present management teams launch from ground 0 to its present course of excellence. However I trust that the readers of this report understand my view that we got really lucky that the owners gave us this fine crew.

Suddenly end of July 2018 the entire staff has been fired? Some new person who says she is Jenny but has no title answered the office phone and said all staff is permanently gone? No one answered the phone the entire day and heaven knows for how many days before and after today 7/30/18. The office is closed during business hours 9 to 6.Numerous new charges in small amounts like $7 and $3.75 appear on tenant rent accounts for unspecified things and there is no one to answer tenant questions on the run up to August 1 when demand is made for payment. Be warned---consider renting elsewhere. Many new apts just down the street from these and hopefully better managed.

The apartment looks very nice in the inside. I love the kitchen and bathroom designs. Quiet area, always parking space available. I gave this place a 3 star because the bathtub and toilet were cheap, it keeps getting stain and its very hard to come off. The place is too expensive for a place like this. And the fees are way overpriced.

Very expensive place and appliances are falling apart. You wont see any minorities working in the office. The ladies in the office are very nasty over the phone and in person. If you dont see that or get that kind of treatment, you must have money or youre white. They charge you $25 for trash pick-up even if you decide not to use it. They also have their own electric/water bill in addition to what you would pay Colorado Springs utilities. If they go in to your place for maintenance they wear their shoes in even if it’s nasty and you are left to clean their mess after they leave. They don’t have maintenance over the weekend and if you call them, your place better have what they will call an emergency because what they consider emergency is not what you will call an emergency. As much as they charge for rent, they need someone onsite to take of the residence on the weekends. They say they care about the residence, but they really don’t. Just live there and you will see. Experience is the best teacher

The women that run the office are hateful and discriminatory. Will not allow you do decorate your balconies without fabricating frivolous rules that cannot be backed up in writing nor are these rules in my lease. Jessica is sweet but the rest of the office staff are hateful hags. They charge you for a hot tub that is cold, for trash pick up that never occurs. They do not return calls. They will outright ignore your request if you don’t brown nose. Overall, an awful place to live.

Quiet, scheduling maintenance is EASY. If youre not concerned about what race of person is working in the front office everyone in there is very nice and very helpful. Theyve been on an update schedule to refurbish exterior walls and some other things. Construction immediately outside the apartment complex has quieted down but is not inside our area. I live closest to the construction and have never heard them, mainly because I go to work all day. The racist person who gave this place a 1 star is just buttmad. I will say, though, that it is definitely pricey but youre also away from all the crime and theft downtown.

This place is really horrible, yall just looking at Apartment buildings, instead of looking inside the apartment, When I moved here the carpet was completely uneven, it was tearing apart, and neighbors is so loud up stairs keep on jumping up and down. Even though this place look kind new, I feel like these people are disrespectful, including the manager to. Talon Hill is worst. I wouldnt recommend here. I will give you the pros and cons after living here for two years.Pros1. Quiet and beautiful community.2. Management can be friendly when they feel like it.3. Lesser than two evils, when compared to Bella Springs down the road - that manager Becca or Becky, is Satan in disguise. Nope, wait, not in disguise.Cons1. Rent is super high for what we get. It is not the traditional you get what you pay for. You ask them for all the expected $$ upfront to move in, but after they have run your credit check, they will present you with unexpected costs which was not discussed in the beginning.2. Hot tub is often under repair - the tenants suspect this is a cost-cutting scheme. This January, it was broken for a couple of weeks and management said they have not gotten the part yet - for almost 3 weeks. Then, once that has been fixed - the following week, they decided to add kitchenette and fireplace to the pool area - another closure for 3 months. Who does that for 3 months - I would like to know the contractors name so I can avoid them.3. Management gets really defensive if something is in their error. If you call them out on a mistake or a delay, they go out of their way to blame it on the tenant. The manager, is the epitome of this example. Very unprofessional and poor customer service.4. Management hardly answer the phone, and when they do and you mention that you have been calling for the past hour because of an emergency, I kid you not, this was the response, You cannot expect me to sit by the phone all day. - instead of setting up a call-forwarding system. They give excuses, not solutions.5. When I first moved in, I noticed that the apartment was not cleaned thoroughly - there was soap scum along the tub and sink, kitchen was greasy, handles were dirty. I took pictures and showed it to Kiah, hoping that she would arrange to have the cleaners come over and do a once-over because I have not brought in any of my furniture yet. All she said was, The cleaners have cleaned everything already. Even after I showed the photos, she kept repeating the same sentence like a broken record. I gave up and cleaned the apartment myself.6. Management often has events where tenants can participate and win some gift cards (for their tax purposes). It would be truly fun if it was fair. Most recent event is Dip contest and instead of management being the judges, they let people on the floor vote. So, of course, those with most family members who vote for them, win. We thought that was ridiculous and vowed never to join another event.7. Maintenance is usually next day and will arrive late in the afternoon - but does not mean things get fixed at that moment. It is more of a show, We respond.8. People do not pick up after their dogs and management does nothing to enforce that.9. Electricity is shared - I called CSU and it was confirmed that the bill comes as building as a whole. Last winter, I paid $133 for electricity in a 1 bedroom apt of 688 sqft, single tenant - though I only use space heater.10. Management. Cross them and Mayela can get rude, Jessica gives snide remarks, and the new girl, Dakota, replaces the old girl, Kiah and both have a resting B face. Youve been warned, listen to them, and do not question anything.As the cons outweigh the pro, I will never recommend anyone to move in here unless you love all the cons. In fact, I have already warned my colleagues and family. This is not a paid review - just my honest experience.Bruce

I really enjoyed living here until a recent experience, after which I have decided to leave and not recommend Talon Hill. The last several months have been a very aggressive schedule of maintenance with constant noise, mess, and inconvenience. After constant hammering on the roofs, smoke alarm tests, staff in and out replacing windows, labor crews swarming outside, and other constant maintenance events, my car was towed when they painted the parking lot. I couldnt find my car, was about to report it stolen, then I went to the office to check and they told me where it was and that I would have to pay for the towing. When I asked them why I didnt get a note on my door, like the other multiple times during the 2 years I lived here, the office manager informed me they decided to use the newsletter and emails instead. So now Im stuck with the tow bill and they refuse to acknowledge their responsibility in making sure their tenants receive proper notice. I dont respect people who take advantage of their authority and run the management of the home I pay for as mercenaries. I dont recommend making Talon Hill your home.

Its been a few years since i lived there, but after reading these reviews,i just have to say, that i also had a horrible experience there. management treated me horribly, they came into my apartment without my permission. they harrassed me over my dogs. it is not a dog friendly place. The walls are thin and you can hear everything. dont move there

Typically pretty quiet here which, gives it an extra star. However, the interior is very cheaply made. Upon move-out, I got charged because the 2nd bath light fixture had rust on it ($50 for a $10 piece bought at Lowes). Also, neighbors complained about a stereo playing in the garage at Noon and we were constantly harassed, by the neighbors and by management. Quiet hours were not disturbed but since the lease says anything annoying to neighbors is prohibited, they immediately took the neighbors side, even without coming to check the noise level from our garage. Plus the construction (parking lot, roof, and new neighborhood being built on top of the complex) was quite annoying and interfered with the peace. At lease renewal, our rent was going to rise 20%, so we chose to move. $2000/month for a three bedroom apartment is ridiculous.

Terrible build quality, the worst customer service ever, and they dont treat people with respect. Majela is a bad manager who could not care any less for the residents or new customers.

Recently moved out and we are happy to be done with this place! We were harassed about our dog they showed up at 7am banging on the door demanding to enter the manager brought someone from maintenance like thats not threatening at all. Called the cops on them. Then we got new neighbors there dog entered our apartment at 6am attacked my husband and my dog as they were coming in went to tell managent and was called a liar because they didnt have a pet on there lease. Then a few days later the same dog attacked me and my dog again when I was taking my dog on a walk. Not only can you smell absolutly everything from your neighbors apartment. You can hear everything. All we cpuld smell is our neighbors cat piss and dog piss.

Do not rent. Unfair Practices. Would not recommend renting to anyone.

Moved in 4 days ago and I have had the locks in the apartment unlocked, called the office was told that I needed to pay for the locks to be changed. Someone has a key to my apartment I am extremely worried and concerned. I ask the regional manager Jennifer for help and she stated I can pay for a new lock. This is not right. Terrie
